Can anyone confirm that Dopey is alive and not in jail?
Looking into to it .... I guess its time to get rid of it all ?  I'll wait till July 1st then yes.... What if Dopey is in jail, but gets released in August and starts working on DopeCoin again? Worst case scenario... if Dopey got hit by a truck or is stuck in jail, and if the coin needs to be resurrected with a new dev team, is there an infrastructure for someone to take over? I mean all the things that was accomplished... the poker, POS, etc. If not, it would be a terrible waste to start from scratch, and no one would be inclined to take up the task. Anyone would much rather create a new coin that resurrect something and did not come with the existing framework to work on. Yeah, he should just turn it over to a new dev. team and make this work. It has huge potential, but if things don't change not sure what else can be done. Like UKgunner 1 btc invested also. |

I believe the guy ran off with everyone's coins ...how about we escrow it , you shoot pictures of you at various points or do tricks for us and we release the funds slowly for every threshold met.....so if we say drink at a fountain in the city you report you are in you go there and you drink from it ....or stick your finger up your a$$ while drinking to keep it entertaining |

I still believe it needs a serious change to survive.
The coin halving is too slow meaning that many coins are mined, the coin pool is diluted and the price will fall further.
By the time it halves the coin will be way down below 20 sats and become yet another dead coin.
Please save it. Hard fork to a much more limited supply or watch it die slowly.
This is not FUD by the way. I like this coin a lot and have mined and traded it since it started. It is a great coin but it needs to change with the times to survive.
Go read up on KDC and look at how what you're proposing won't work. A big market creates value, not scarcity. Fuck what you're proposing. I lost a lot on KDC when they fucked it up the way they did. KDC didn't halving, THEY dropped from 64 to 16 coins per block , and then one month later to 4 blocks, of course, this killed the coin.... Mr. Dope is a very harrd worker and he has been working on several things, but you know, if he don't want to change supply then he needs to work on demand. Suggestion: Organize a workshop, invite soccer teams, baseball teams, all kind of people to the workshop. Explain bitcoin, and explain Dopecoin, tell them how much do you earn as rent with the bank? Don't you want to earn more...start creating networking, if you can add 10 people and they talk to their friends and those 10 people can add 5 more people, then you have 50 new investors for a coin with a market cap of, i don't know how much, it is a ridicules marketcap, i believe it was $40K, so with 50 new people each $100 (what is not a lot) they will buy 12.5% of Dope... SO EVERYBODY, START TALKING ABOUT DOPECOIN, DO SOMETHING FOR YOUR COIN, BUY CHEAP COINS FOR YOURSELF!!! A LOT CAN BE DONE, BUT NOBODY IS DOING SOMETHING!!!! A friend of mine is building a DopeCoin - > Credit Card/PayPal service to open shortly so people can spend their DopeCoins anywhere! Innovation is coming! Ok, but this needs to be told to the outside world... people have money... some people don't want to earn 1% interest per year ,there want more. Try to sell it to them, etc. It will be marketed it as such! don't worry |
