Luton Town is leading against Sheffield United with a 0-1 scoreline in 33  minutes of play. Luton Town will want to win against Sheffield United and hope to win their outstanding match against Bournemouth to have a chance of surviving the relegation zone.

The tie is now 1-1 as both teams continue to chase for the winner.
The boxing day fixture starting well; with Nottingham Forest thrasing Newcastle United away from home, while Fulham poor form continues away at Bournemouth

Excellent boxing day fixtures. Final match of the day is Aston Villa vs sleeping devil (Manchester United). Lets have it
From the bottom of the English Premier League table it is somehow difficult to understand what is happening in that zone. Recently Sheffield United has been doing fairly well and with the result of win and draw they have been having recently I think they should be able to escape the relegation zone but surprisingly they are still at the number 19th in the English Premier League table and they have played one match above their counterparts in that region.

Fulham is another club that I do not know how to describe them. Although I do not follow up their matches but I have known when they were winning clubs with high margins of goals but their last two matches were losses and today they are also losing to Bournemouth. I am really sure something is not good at the bottom part of the English Premier League this season. There will be a lot of interesting activities in the coming weeks from this clubs that are in the relegation zone.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 26, 2023, 04:26:32 PM
Im scared about Barcelona's season. Last year, their emphasis on La Liga paid off, but this year, their Champions League goals seem to be stretching them. Due to this, their La Liga performance has suffered. The team's fluctuating outcomes reflect its divided energy and resources. Do they sacrifice domestic performance for European glory?

They should balance, in my opinion. Barcelona must meet high standards due to its La Liga and Champions League heritage. Managing these competitions is difficult, but a top club can do it. Strategy and prioritisation are needed, but they have the skill.
I don't think so, but indeed their performance is not so good this season with all the problems they have and that does not happen in the La Liga match alone, if we pay close attention to the actual performance of Barcelona in the UCL match is also not so good it's just that they are a little lucky Join the team that is not so strong in the group phase.

The balance will definitely be carried out by a team if they have good strength and performance in the team but with Barcelona's condition like now, they are almost impossible to be able to do that, this is purely a decline in performance from them not because of priority.
The problem of Barcelona is inability to know their weakness and their strength. Xavi is a very good coach and we must surely give him his accolade when he took up the mantle of leadership in the Barcelona team, that was a point that coaches were afraid to take up that responsibility. We all can attest that during that period of time Barcelona was not only down in administrative structure but they were having financial crisis.

Since after Xavi became the coach of Barcelona he proved himself in the locally and was able to become a champion and it became his favorite to beat Real Madrid at some points. However his biggest challenge has been the European competition, severally and it did not work out. Instead of him to continue with his local good performance he traded it for European glory now both the local and European glory is nowhere to be found.

The WestHam versus Man United match which will take place soon, is there anything that can support the visiting team to get full points? Or vice versa, Westham can still take advantage of the situation to steal points from Man United, whose condition is not very promising. Losing to bottom team Bournemouth shows that the Red Devils are currently unable to appear consistent. However in the last match which held Liverpool to a draw, of course as usual the supporters took it as motivation to get up. However personally I prefer the host to control the game regardless of whether they are motivated or not Man United will currently have difficulty playing at their opponent's home ground.

The match has started and they are about 10mins into the match and I think the match was supposed to be a nice match but I don't know the current weather condition over there if it will inconvenience the players. In my country the weather is very harsh and won't be favourable to players. This is why early kickoff doesn't favour most clubs especially the big clubs.

Manchester United coach decided to play a 19yr old defender in the absence of his key defenders. I wish Kambwala a successful debut.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: December 23, 2023, 12:30:19 PM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
I am answering based on the current market situation. Although this was posted early November but I came across it now and I can say that the bear market is over. Even if we are not yet into the bull market, the it is gradually building up and we are seeing it play out

Broke 45K level and sideaway in that level and I would consider the bear market is over and the bull market is coming. but if we look at the chart we can still pretty much down to 40-35K level again or even worse like 30K level.

The Fear and greed index is at level 75 which mean people also greed right now. for now lets wait and see or take profit some if you have profit position right now

Even if there is correction, which is expected, it will not be more than the usual 10% and the market will later reverse with a greater momentum. I can say that bitcoin is fair this year because it is somewhat predictable this season. As it was predicted is how it is playing out.
485  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: December 23, 2023, 12:15:58 PM
It does hit really hard for people who like DCA and do not keep their money in centralized exchange, in fact because this F*cking ordinal is really hard for everyone except the miner who get 3-6 Btc in a single block.
If the miners are truly benefiting this much in a single block, it means they will keep spamming the network in the name of ordinals and by this, the mempool will keep congested and they keep benefiting from it

Merchant or a freelancer like will be also hit by the high fee because they should consider the fee and must to add to their service for a freelancer and merchant might see less people using bitcoin if this not allowing down

The DCA people are the most affected. But then, a weekly DCA person may likely turn to bi weekly DCA. Someone in bi-weekly can turn monthly. The freelancers can decide to use alternative coins to receive payments.

After Al-Ittihad lost the game against the Irai team in the Champions League they fired their coach Nuno Santo.
Also since Nottingham Forest fired their coach because of the weak performance they had during this season, they decided to hire Nuno Santo again. Nuno Santo signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Nottingham Forest.
His last experience in the Premier League was in 2021 when he was working at Tottenham.

Congratulations to Nuno Santo. He is having a good career. Moving from England to Saudi Arabia and back to England should be a nice experience. He should learn how to manage different players under different beliefs and religion. Also since he has been in England until 2021 he should be aware of the happiness in England.
Nothingham forest really needs a help. Since they were able to survive relagtion last season, they should do better this season. Although, coaches do not help clubs more than the management.

This post would have been in the Transfer and speculation thread.
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 22, 2023, 11:05:43 AM
I think I was a bit lucky, around the time I almost placed the bet, Nacho got a red card and I had to change my mind  Grin

I decided to go for over 0.5 goals @2.15 odds in around the 70th minute. Lucas Vasquez definitely saved my ass with that injury time goal.

One of the advantages of being able to follow up a match and betting live. It is not a much risk since Madrid was involved. I know it is between the 75th to 90th that the pressure to score goals intensify, especially when the match is sitting on a goalless draw.

It's unfortunate I didn't use a higher stake.
Very unfortunate. Assuming you knew it will happen this way, took a loan of $1m and staked. You would have been $2m + richer now Cool

I'd tell any 5 year old to ask their parents if they really want to know about Bitcoin.
And Bitcointalk is not allowed for under 18 people.
An unofficial forum rule?
I mean since no one is interested to know if I am a man or a woman, who cares to know if I am 13 or 96?

Any plans to introduce KYC?
489  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA added on: December 22, 2023, 10:24:39 AM
Hopefully, the number of alts might drop if/when 2FA becomes mandatory. (And new users should have to employ 2FA automatically)
I do not think that 2FA will affect anyone operating alts. Different emails solves this and it is app base.

Can we have a shield to indicate we have 2FA enabled, please?
This will be a threat to security. Any profile without such a shield indicator will be the target of hackers.

Will 2FA relegate the act of staking ones address in meta?

Thanks theymos and PowerGlove. One sad news at the beginning of the month (mixers ban), one good news at the end of the month.
490  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns in the Service Board on: December 22, 2023, 09:57:56 AM
For my suggestion since alternative means of payment is temporary you can still leave your campaign in the service section then your participants can pm you their alternative address for payments but still those addresses can remain hidden in the spreadsheet maybe only their btc address can be public. In every week you will give the values in BTC on spreadsheet while you send them the equivalent in their chosen alternatives of payment to their address. This is just my contribution to remain all your campaign in service sections.
This suggestion is deceitful and to what end? Is it necessary to begin play a hide and seek game in an obvious situation of skyrocketed bitcoin transaction fees?

The high fees won't last forever so during this periods, that's a scarify we have to give. Staying with Bitcoin in this hard times is a scarify worth all the old times that the fees were low. Switching to a different coin, give that coin utility instead of Bitcoin so if they're not paying in Bitcoin then the projects don't deserve the publicity they're getting from launchings their campaign on the Bitcoin service board.
Well, I think I understand the premise you are coming from. This is a bitcoin problem and switching to altcoins payment means an unsaid failure of bitcoin. It means bitcoin is unable to deliver the promise of  multiple payments with low fee.

If we move to altcoins payment, believe me that it will be in the history that in bitcointalk forum, bitcoin payment failed and they switched to so so alt coin.

From the side of Hhampuz my manager. Moving a thread that has got much exposure in the bitcoin service board it the altcoins board will be a big distraction. I think paying a moderate fee and even if it takes a few days to confirm is fine or you can consider bi weekly payment.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 22, 2023, 09:28:23 AM
Sheffield is going to have a hard game against Aston Villa because currently, Aston Villa is in the good form in which they can easily beat the stronger teams than Sheffield United.
Aston Villa won the games against Manchester City and Arsenal in the last weeks and since we know Sheffield is not a strong team like the two teams I think it is worth it to bet on Aston Villa for this match.

Betting on Aston Villa is not only safe but also has a high win rate and Sheffield should be alert considering that Aston Villa is really in an aggressive condition this season. Unexpectedly, Aston Villa was able to silence Manchester City and Arsenal at home. So now Aston Villa will host Sheffield also at home with their home record there is no hope for the visiting club to come away with points.
Holla;
Halla;
Holla;
Aston villa to the moon. I mean this is a great opportunity for Aston villa to climb the top of the English premier League table after several decades. Aston villa will not want to miss this opportunity and believe me, they are in a very good form and they can do it.

Their opponents are in a pity situation and I do not think that they have the ability to resist Aston Villa who initially surprised Manchester City and Arsenal. I am solidly behind Emry and his boys. He is a good wonder coach.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The European Super League on: December 22, 2023, 09:13:01 AM
This European super league to me is unnecessary, these players are already occupied with many competition's almost in every week both international and national games with a whole lot of them suffering from fatigue and injuries as a result of the tight matches  schedules.

I hear and I don't know if it's a rumor or it's true that some teams are rejecting it and they are justified because from what I see here in my own perspective is that the football body just drafting out another form of making money from this so-called super league. Let's also consider the fitness and stability of the players too and not just about the competitions after competition's
Somewhere 2021, this super League of a thing came to the timeline and there was some controversies then and I thought everything has been resolved. I am so surprised that this has sufficed again but what I really like this time is the consistency of decision.
When this matter came up, some of the big clubs across Europe rejected the idea and now that the idea is resurfaced and amidst the controversy and tempting financial offer, these big clubs are not still buying into the idea. These clubs are Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Chelsea. Infact the English premier League is against the super League idea. I don't know how this will work when big names are rejecting it.

Re: Quickest way to earn merit?
I thought that this is a guide on how to earn merits. I was just eager to read and extend my merits could, it seems that I am stocked here for some times. But unfortunately for me, it's someone wanting to know how to jump from newbie to legendary.

What you write, how you write which includes the tone, quality grammar correctness, tenses, facts, generally the make up of your  comments and whether reader agrees  or not determines if you get merits.

So do your research well. Write about what you think within the purview of Bitcoin , and cryptocurrency. Write concisely, accurately, sensibly.
All the above listed are correct and needed to earn merits. But then, if you implement all and there's no merit source looking your way, I'm sorry you are stocked.
494  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Grandma is in a critical situation. Asking everyone for help. on: December 20, 2023, 06:41:10 PM
Sadly, his grandma has passed away, and the purpose of the thread has been defeated so I ask for the topic to be locked.
This is not supposed to be so. I think OP still need help and if anyone wants to help, they should proceed. It is now that OP needs the help even more. The reason is not far fetched. In my country which I believe is applicable in other countries, if a patient dies, the bills are not waved. The patient's relatives will have to settle all the hospital bills before the deceased would be buried.
So, the death of the grandma should instead motivate donations rather than treating the matter as ended.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 20, 2023, 05:05:21 PM
This can be seen when facing teams whose quality is below them, so Vini and Rodrygo have more space and opportunities to get opportunities.
So far I see the Real Madrid team is quite bad up front and they are quite dependent on Bellingham.

Ancelotti is a coach who has a lot of experience, so this makes Real Madrid quite taken into account in the race for the title, even though there have been many changes in their squad this season, but Ancelotti has managed to maintain the consistency of his team.
Thanks to Ancelotti, Real Madrid's shortcomings or weaknesses in the front line this season are no longer so visible because Real Madrid in general can utilize wingers and midfielders very well. So Real Madrid can still do a lot in the Champions League this season and I think Ancelotti will also try to bring Real Madrid to the final by continuing to apply extraordinary tactics this season. Apart from that, other changes could also come to several teams and also to Real Madrid when the player transfer market opens again this season.
Ancelotti is a great manager and from the look of things, he is so confident of his squad this season than that of the last season. If this squad was the one that faced Manchester City last season, they wouldn't have been humiliated. This is because there are alot of energy and toughness in the club compared to last season.

What I have discovered about the Real Madrid of today is that almost all the players are becoming utility players, which means they can play in any position in order to help the club success. That is a good fighting spirit.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 20, 2023, 04:41:08 PM
Man United fans that are thinking of some needed changes or reinforcements in the next transfer window should lower their expectations. The COO has already stated that the club won't be busy since they don't want to be hit with more penalties for violating the Financial Fair Play. I guess fans will just have to endure and wait for the recovery of key players hehe.

After all, even if for example Manchester United brings in several new players in the transfer market later but ya, of course it will still take time for new players to adapt. Therefore, bringing in new players will also still not fully guarantee for Manchester United to recover quickly . What's more, the Premier League competition this season has become very difficult and even, teams as good as Manchester City have also experienced a decline in performance at this moment.

So yes, if Manchester United intend not to sign players because of concerns about financial fair play then ya, of course it will be the right reason for Manchester United not to sign more players in the transfer window later . Therefore, indeed, it is an obligation for Erik ten Hag to also work better to restore Manchester United's performance with his selected players.
I do not actually understand the excuse of financial fair play. How many players did they buy that will warrant the implementation of the fair play rule. I thought in the last window, Manchester United sold some players like Antony Elanga, Fred, Da Gea and so. If it is that important, they can sell some other players like Martial, Rashford, Malacia and some others and get in new blood.

I am very sure that if Erik Ten Hang continues with what he has, he will see nothing close to top 4 this season. He needs players and especially good wingers and defenders who will be consistent throughout the season.

Talking about new players taking time to adapt to the team, has old players who have been there adapted to the team?
497  Other / Meta / Re: How easy is it to sell an account? on: December 20, 2023, 04:21:56 PM
At what point did you see and believe that he was a newcomer? We have ten newbies with extensive farming experience every day. Have you seen newcomers gain merit so quickly? There have been many liars on the forum pretending to be anyone, so it's worth reminding this newbie that "ignorance is no excuse." Now is the time of holidays, and we should close our eyes to many things, but to respect the members of the forum, you should adhere to the rules and therefore read them before doing anything.
I am just knowing that people are treated with leniency during the holidays, that's nice. By the way, the forum is becoming less powerful on a daily basis. If this was my newbie days, the Op might not survive this.

I don't seem to understand why we have brand new accounts created by existing members everyday and they go about acting like they don't know what goes on in the Forum, they ask questions they know the answers to.
There's no problem creating new account, as I am also certain that your account might be an alt and you might also not be a woman. Where I see the problem is pretending to be absolutely new in the forum when they are not.

These days I don't see any newbie as Newbie , I won't blame some of these people but I have that feeling that one day some silly questions will be asked by the supposed newbies and no one would care to answer.
There are still absolute newbies and saying that a newbie will drop a random newbie question without receiving an answer is something that cannot happen in the forum in as much as there's still signature campaigns paying for post quota.
498  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 20, 2023, 04:07:27 PM
I suggest that starting from April 1st Bitcoin itself should be banned in this forum.
Why on April fool day? Lol

Show me a law that states that talking about crypto mixers is a crime.
Probably theymos realised there's no such law, which is why he ease that aspect and restated that discussing mixers without sharing the url is allowed.

Then just move the forum to somewhere where it is allowed to discuss these things.
Theymos said he will do this, but he will only do that the day US will ban bitcoin.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 19, 2023, 09:05:48 PM

Chelsea and Newcastle are unpredictable teams. Chelsea need to focus on the championship as they play awful at times. Newcastle are out of the Champions League and they need to pick themselves up and throw their energies on the EPL. Both teams are in an uncomfortable position. That's why I expect a draw in the upcoming match.
Chelsea come out with full squad to play against Newcastle side that beat the shamelessly in the Premier League this season; I think Chelsea will use this medium to do some revenge by defeating and eliminating them from this cup just they are already eliminated in the Champions League; at the same time, Chelsea will want to do like Manchester United of last season to win at least at least a Cup for the team to shoe for all the players they signed this season.

Most things are not necessarily about saying it but doing it. For the fact that Newcastle United was able to represent in the Champions League and Chelsea didn't even qualify for uefa conference league gives the impression that Newcastle United is a bigger team than Chelsea presently.

So, Newcastle United is coming from the premise of champions league and they will not easily let Chelsea outsmart them. It is HT and Newcastle United is leading Chelsea by 1 goal. It is obviously a defensive mistake but as a wise striker, Wilson took advantage of that to put his side ahead.
500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 19, 2023, 02:31:22 PM
I agree, it is dumb for a casino not to KYC a player before they sign up, because they could deposit their own money/receive a tip, and try to withdraw but that money is just gone. Makes me think some casinos are thieves, such as roobet. Happened to me, but I ended up just KYCing, but for people who don’t have it available, they just have frozen money.
Really disappointing but these days, we have to prepare for that as they will be able to ask you KYC anytime. That is why it is better to choose a legit and reputable site so if they ask for that we don't bother and worry about complying with it knowing that they will keep it and not use it for other purposes.
Nowadays, it is an urge by the government as well for casinos to do that in order to avoid fraud and other illegal transactions, we have to admit that it was a drill for them otherwise, the government will stop their operation. We have to admit that our privacy is soon to be over, we can't hide anymore.

Indeed. Regulated casinos will sooner or later ask their customers to verify their identity to continue playing or to be able to withdraw, and this is not new anymore. So expect such thing will happen if you're playing in centralized casinos. Therefore, much better to KYC first before making your first deposit to make sure you're already verified because who knows you might end up winning a decent amount. But be sure you are dealing with a reputable casinos. Anyway, it is still our choice if we don't want to submit our private information because we are free to look for alternative.

Casinos need deposits for them to continue to run. Any casino where withdrawal exceeds deposits, it means winding up. So, you hardly see any casino that rejects deposits for any reason. They will gladly accept the money, by then you will be willing to abide by any instructions in order to have the money back.

This is why it is also advisable to first complete KYC before you make deposit. Sometimes, people procrastinates KYC untill they are caught in the web. However, we know that there are also bad players among casinos who are there to still at any given opportunity.
