Bitcoin loves to let you think you know things, then............BANG. More lift than a north korean rocket launch Why so much traction lately? Anyone care to speculate? because drops are blocked by lag and then buying starts again You must be new here. Lag more often then not causes the price to go DOWN as it triggers people to panic sell.

Wow, I just fell asleep for 15 hours because I stayed up yesterday glued to my screen.
What happened to our beautiful shallow market depth?! It deepened, mostly on the ask side. Everyone has their fiat pricetag it seems. It's still below 40k BTC which is very, very low

Looks like BTCchina is poised to break 1600RMB I thought BTCChina was CNY/BTC. Ah...both, I must keep up. 1600CNY = $258.32 Yea, RMB is Yuan. Kinda strange. Anyways, 1640RMB! WOO!

Every single spare dollar I have. 100% all in.
I believe in bitcoin more than most and have been here for a looong time. I believe that BTC is worth 100x what it is valued at now. So, please, don't invest more than you can afford to lose. Every dollar you put in BTC pretend that it could just vanish tomorrow.

When the bubble bubble pops THEN we'll know we're in a bubble. When bears turn into bulls just because they are envious of your gains, it's about to blow off (+ a few weeks because people can't just call their broker to buy).
I have a software program tracking proudon. If he ever turns into a bull I have it set to sell everything and then short Bitcoin, taking a loan out on my house to short on every exchange that allows it. Will you be willing to provide a download for said program?! I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW!

Just because millionaires don't spend their day talking shit on the speculation boards doesn't mean they are not investing in Bitcoin.

The Australian dollar is backed by those spiders that eat birds. I wouldn't mess with that if I were you.
I'm not seeking investment advice, just trying to figure out what the world will look like next week! I meant mess with like, don't say anything about them or they might send the spiders after you. Seriously, I refuse to ever travel to Australia. But I think we'll continue to see the tradition of printing money to print more money so you can print money regardless of the specific actors involved.

Guys, I hope you forgive me, but I've had enough celebratory drinks to say that I think I started the Mt Gox=Hamster servers mini-meme. Can anyone confirm this? Weeeee onto 300!

panic starts slowly It just went up almost $50 in one day and dropping less than $10 is a slow panic? Feels more like a a slowing of a panic to me. A panic buy. I am in panic... I hold 0.33 BC and bought them for round about 200 USD. I am afraid it stops going up hill now... I think about selling Don't do it man. That .33 will crash the market. Hold. Please. For all our sakes.

New bie question What's this queue ? It's how many people are waiting in line to use MtGox.
|
|
|
Today in bitcoin: $3 million appeared on the order book, and then $3 million went away. Seems like lots of people are cashing out. It's only a matter of time before USDs on MtGox are overwhelmed. Nice try. Most of those were walls that were put up well below market price, then pulled without being sold into. Specifically the last 1mil. Don't worry. Keep tryin' and you might make a compelling argument. Someday. EDIT: You even draw circles like a jerk.

|
|
The 1mil-ish buy wall at 213ish has vanished. To where doth it gone?

Ummm....okay?
This may be true if we hit 1000 tomorrow.
It will not be true if we hit 1000 a few months from now. Many people will have sold by then. Many MORE people will have bought in by then. Many people will have just started investing at 500, 600, 800, 999.
Don't mess around with that number, it's the substance that matters here. The substance here is that the claim is the same we've always heard. The answer to the claim is thus: it's a false claim. It's more of a challenge than a claim. I am looking forward to the day when bitcoin price reaches $1,000/10,000, and you still hold those shiny coins in your hand, and show them off to me, you don't need to attach a digital signature, the fact that you still visit this forum is probably proof enough. I am serious. Well, in that case. Challenge accepted
