Guys, you remember when we all dreamed of the far distant day of getting to a new ATH?
Good times.
why does it seem such a long time ago, though. Is there a psychological explanation for this? I meant it mostly as a joke, but we humans do have a crazy ability to adapt to new situations quickly and expect it to continue to be that way indefinitely.

Holding steady at 74.450 now.
I think our definition of "steady" has become quite warped over the last few weeks.

Man, we didn't even get the chance to make Djibouti jokes

I'm never selling. I'll just wait until the price stabilizes then use it in normal trade. In fact, I just spent a few BTC yesterday but I'm trying to replace them now...
Yea, the advice I am starting to offer is first acquire the btc THEN spend it as opposed to spending it and catching up.

is this it?
We just hit $74.90!
Is it what? A chance to keep going? Why yes, yes it is.

lol, clark moody is only showing one bid between $73 and $74

$100 appears to be a strong psychological number that will trigger sells. anyone going to risk at that price?
I'll be holding.

This price movement is wild. I wish I knew what was driving it.

Normally the biggest orders arrive after 12:00 EST.
Happened at 12:00 EDT I think it will settle down, and rally for 75 tomorrow? If we are using the last few days as precedent we'll hit 75ish tonight/early morning then past 80 tomorrow. Of course, history is no precedent at all for bitcoin

10K BTC to $85 20K BTC to $100 We might actually hit $100 / BTC today . Normally the biggest orders arrive after 12:00 EST. And there's almost nothing over $100. Total bids in USD are steady at 7.5mil, sells in BTC have dropped to 30kish.

We will see a crash to $120 soon, maybe in early May.
I don't know if this was a typo, but I'll glady take a crash up to $120 in two months.

ONWARD TO FIJI!
Fiji doesn't stand a chance!

YOU probably sold at $20, shame for you. No BAWLS! YOU NEED BAWLS LIKE ME!
Lol, you should probably know something about the person you are replying to before saying stuff like that. I've been saying "buy and hold" since, like, 2011. Also, you might want someone to take a look at your keyboard? Your capslock key might be on the fritz.

Again, the bears thought a wall would scare us and have been caught off guard again.
Prepare yourselves for retaliatory dumps and some high swings in prices before settling in the low 70s

Nothing against you, but in my experience it seems to be the bulls who make these sorts of posts are actually calves that panic at the next down turn and can't dump fast enough.

The bull grenadiers have detonated the bomb under the wall, weakening it's structure. It's time to chaaaaaaaaaaarge.

http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/why-bitcoins-are-just-like-goldBitcoin, in its present form, has a stark resemblance to gold. Both are backed by no one. Both are, relative to fiat currency, inconvenient for day to day use. Your gold coins or bitcoins (yet) won’t do much good at the grocery store. Both lack intrinsic value. If the apocalypse arrived tomorrow, your gold and BTC won’t help you survive against the zombies. Both have value only because society has confidence that they will maintain said value over time.
Very nice.
