481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Market Analysis April 13 on: April 13, 2018, 11:40:08 AM
Well after bitcoin started to increase in value the other altcoins also started to climb up. It is still unclear if this pump will continue or it is just temporary but this is a good sign that bitcoin is starting to recover. With this people are so excited that they buy more bitcoins and it is visible with the huge volume being sold in all exchanged. Though it is unsure but I have a guess that this might be the starting point of bitcoins increasing in value.
482  Economy / Speculation / Re: New pump? on: April 13, 2018, 11:25:44 AM
What do you think about yesterday’s pump? Bitcoin grew from 6750 to 8000$ in a few minutes. That’s incredible! Do you think it is a new pump and soon bitcoin will cost 20000$ again?

If this pump is true then we could possibly hit 20k$ or more by December. The exchanges have finally finished paying their taxes and they will no longer sell  huge amount of bitcoin. With this we can expect to see bitcoin goes up again. If this continues then by the end of April bitcoin will recover back to 10k$ then by May at 12k$.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think take biggest responsibility on making the prices fall? on: April 13, 2018, 11:18:58 AM
This is just an analytical question, not blaming nor scapegoating:
1. Who do you think have biggest responsibility on making those prices fall and keep down? the big sharks or purely the market?
2. Whether the ones who made it fall is the same one who keeps it down or not?
3. And what to do make them bounce again, although slowly?

One of the biggest reasons why there is a huge fall on bitcoins value. First is the correction, the huge drop from 20k$ to 10k$ is a correction, 20k$ was an overvalue and when the correction occurred it crashed down to 10k$. Second is after the correction the banning of bitcoin by google, facebook and twitter; this news caused panic on the market causing many people to sell their btc. Third, MT gox selling of their bitcoin in a huge volume; MT Gox needs to refund their investors that is why the sell a huge amount of their bitcoin to pay their creditors. Fourth, exchanges pays their taxes; when the exchanges pay their taxes they are forced to sell a huge amount of bitcoin at their disposal to cope up with the million dollar taxes.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a newbie advise on: April 13, 2018, 11:09:42 AM
As a newbie, reading = learning --- learning = tactics -- make a good decision= investing---- investing= makes profit--- profit=makes opportunities-- opportunities= makes development= more opportunities(for you and others)= more development (for you and others).. in other words.. NEWBIES(just like me) dont stop from reading tips. and contribute ideas so, success will chase you.. not you chasing success.

I was amazed by your post since you are a very eager and industrious newbie who always does his homework. At the start we are also like that we do many reading and gaining more experiences before we end up creating a technique on how to earn online. From centavos to thousand of dollars monthly there is research and effort being used before we reach success.
485  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin back to 8k$!! Is this recovery or a trap? on: April 13, 2018, 10:14:14 AM
Well Yesterday I said in one of my comments that the bullish move of bitcoin from 6700$ to 8000$ in just a few minutes is shocking and thus we must be careful since it could be temporary and could be a trap. But until today there is no sign yet of bitcoins value going down and it still continued to increase at is already at 8k+$.

But I just noticed something, the more the price of bitcoin gets higher the more volume of btc goes in the exchanges especially in bitfinex from 74k bitcoin it climbed up to 96k bitcoin. This is a sign that more and more people are getting into bitcoin and the question is can we be confident already that this bullish move will continue or it is just a trap?
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bears take cover, the Bulls are back. on: April 12, 2018, 12:51:20 PM
History repeats itself, each year Bitcoins has always bounced back in Q2 and it doesn't disappoint again the Bulls who were on a extended vacation have decided to come back and put the bears to sleep.

This is a big Victory for the entire community who stood united in the fall down, haters gonna hate but we're back Bch will be disappointed for it thought it could stake a bring down the crypto king.

Now let's go upwards and upwards, Bitcoin is only the true Bitcoin. Glory days are back for us hell yeah!

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/12/bitcoin-surges-10-percent-in-sudden-move-to-above-7500.html

It is too early that the bulls are on the move. The move was either done by the bulls or by the whales who are setting trap to temporarily increase the coins value to create a panic buying so they can sell their bitcoin in a much higher value. Instead, let us wait for a week or so if the value will never go back down  then probably it is now a bullish time. Though I also thought that it is a bullish time since the volume of btc on the exchanges have lessened and was put out of the trade, but I just want to make sure everything than to suffer again before doing any decisions.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 European Nations Form New Blockchain Partnership on: April 12, 2018, 12:46:06 PM
Good news came today from Europe:

The countries, including the U.K., France, Germany, Norway, Spain and the Netherlands, signed a declaration on Tuesday establishing the new group, dubbed the European Blockchain Partnership, according to a release from the European Commission, which led the effort.

22 European Nations Form New Blockchain Partnership

This will be a good news to them but not to us. The European Union is planning to create their own digital currency using blockchain technology that will be used in government services as well in their economy. They are planning to use such currency as a medium of exchange for buying goods within their territory. Such digital assets I guess will not be placed on the market but it is the 22 countries who will agree on the value of the coin so they can practically use it like the fiat currency but now only in digital form.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Couple arrested for alleged bitcoin investment scam on: April 12, 2018, 12:41:05 PM
So here are some of the guys putting a stain on Bitcoin's name.

Check out this link. They scammed almost a 1B Pesos.

And another sprouting Filipino made, fake, centralized cryptocurrency MLM scheme - Indigen

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2976098
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3298922

These type of schemes are misleading for newbies. I feel sad for them.

This news have become viral in the Philippine television as well as in the social media. The so called company was named New G, I was once tempted to invest on that but I did change my mind and place my investment on a legit site with trusted reviews. There are many circulating news as to how their system collapse, some said it was because their system is a ponzi scheme and when nobody wants to invest they started to collapse and run with the money. The other reason was probably they went bankrupt when bitcoins value fell down from 20k$ to 6700$. Whatever the reason be the public is angry and wanted their investment back.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC mainstream and use for payments. on: April 12, 2018, 12:34:38 PM
Hi all,

I use BTC & LTC a lot for payments, I pay for a lot of services like VPNs and Hosting, I also used BTC for expedia flights booking before.

I still find it a bit geeky to transact with others using crypto, I can not see my gramma or old people or whoever freaks out when they see something looks like this 3MCp7KgQhYDyUmni38klRncnb7Q4Z7Z2gQ to send payments..

I watch a lot of Andreas Antonopoulos youtube videos where he compares BTC with early days of internet when websites were browsed by IP addresses 169.2.233.145 .. and not by domain names, at that time a lot of trolls made fun of the internet and said it will never go mainstream and we saw what happened in past 20 years..

my question is, what are the possible future strategies that would allow people to transact easily without worrying too much about geeky hashcodes, private keys and all of these stuff..

Cheers.

Actually the future is already here and the only thing missing are the masses who will adopt and accept bitcoin. In the Philippines we are using an app hosted by the bitcoin exchange called coins.ph. Using that app we can send bitcoin anytime to our friends who are using the same app without any fee at all, but if we are going to send btc to an external wallet then the fee is huge. If all the merchants will use the app and the buyers will also use the app they can successfully do an exchange of goods. Buying things using btc without worrying about transaction fee is really possible.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many people that are not heavily invest in bitcoin (mining, media) are here? on: April 12, 2018, 12:26:01 PM
how many people that are not heavily invested in bitcoin mining or bitcoin media are still in this forum

i am not talking about speculants that bought bitcoin, but about those mining operators or those media outlet runners.

regards

They are just here lurking around. They are now to busy with their operations and have no time mingling or posting anymore in this forum. But sometimes they are active on the mining section in this forum you can try to open that section and you will now what are the username of those bitcoin mining individuals. Pertaining to their number it is hard to tell but if you are eager and serious then you can create a poll so you can have a rough estimate as to how many they really are.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital currency with central bank support needed (China Daily) on: April 12, 2018, 12:22:26 PM
China is looking forward to creating their own digital currency. This kind of currency is backed up and run by the central bank of China. Possibly this is one of the reason why China banned bitcoin back then. China is a country wherein they are really strict when it comes to economy and finances and since they see bitcoin does not go with their favor they are going to establish their own system using blockchain technology without bitcoin.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital payment revolution can fight corruption. on: April 12, 2018, 12:15:36 PM
Using the blockchain technology the government could actually combat and reduced corruption. If the government adopts or integrates blockchain technology in their system especially in their bidding purchases all transaction payments will be transparent since this technology will allow people to monitor the movement of the treasury by looking at the blockchain. With more people looking at how their taxes are spent corrupt officials will think twice before doing any anomaly.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why sudden bump in bitcoin? It is now over $8000 on: April 12, 2018, 12:09:57 PM
Few hours before the price of bitcoin was at $7000 but suddenly there is a huge price bump over $1000 and it causes the bitcoin price to go up 17%.And it happened in other cryotocurrency prices as well it is an whales action or what?

But it is good to see the price now. Smiley

It is the second time I noticed that. It also happened last month. We cannot be sure if someone is buying more coins or somebody is trying to pump the coins. If it is a real demand for bitcoin then it is a real score but if it is just an attempt to raise bitcoins value and laying out a trap for people to buy more then it is worthless. So let us be careful in making decisions we do not know if it is a trap or it is a real increase in value.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Centralize and Decentralize coins... on: April 12, 2018, 12:05:57 PM
There is a huge difference between decentralized and centralized coins. Decentralized coins have no center of command and thus it is hard to shutdown since there are no centers and can operate as long as there is someone running the system on their pc. Centralized on the other hand is controlled by a center of command, and is being dictated by the people who are at the center.

But sometimes decentralized coins have a disadvantage when it comes to problem troubleshooting  since there are no central command who will be in-charge of fixing problems. But overall, I like decentralized coins compared to centralized coins.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if two mining company unites on: April 12, 2018, 11:40:12 AM
If they will unite then there will be a mining monopoly. This will be problematic to the community if this new group monopolizing the mining will be greedy and will try to place new rules on the system on their favor. But if they will follow by the rules then there will be no problem since this will mean more cheaper and faster transactions. But there is still danger if they will not abide by Satoshis rules.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is Crappy Technology and a Bad Vision for the Future on: April 12, 2018, 11:36:31 AM
I do not believe this statement. Blockchain is actually a good technology. It cannot be only applied to certain currencies but it can applied to any other sectors of the society as well as the government services for transparency. There are already studies being conducted to integrate blockchain technology to the government system, this way the public can view their transactions and corruption could cease.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning BITCOIN Scam... Be Cautious! on: April 12, 2018, 11:31:38 AM
One of the Major Reasons why some Government sees Bitcoin as a threat to their country is because people might use it as an opportunity against some other people who wanted to earn and make a living. Just recently in the Philippines a couple was arrested because of scam, they uses a pyramid scheme and baited people to invest via electronic money. It started when Bitcoin is at its hype, giving them the chance to use it as front.

For our safety and security, please read this article and be aware. https://www.rappler.com/nation/199915-filipino-couple-amasses-millions-bitcoin-scam

Hope this could help everyone and let us be cautious. Earning money is not that easy as what other think of it. It requires patience, dedication, determination and focus to reach your goal.

I have heard of that company and they call it NEW G. They are inviting people to invest in their company in which the funds will be used to purchased bitcoin. It was good at the start but just recently they stopped paying. There are two sides of the story, its either they are doing a pyramiding scheme or they have huge losses after bitcoin fell from 20k$ to 7k$.

We cannot tell what really happened since the accuses does not want to say anything. But this leave a huge impact on the reputation of bitcoin and again tv networks using a quote from the central bank said, be careful in investing in bitcoin.

Well I too is doing the last word you mentioned and that is to place your investment in different places and not on one basket. It is called playing safe. In trading sometimes it is better to play safe than to take a huge risk with a hope of getting huge profit, if you are lucky then you are a millionaire but if you are unlucky you will live in the slums. The real score in trading is not huge profit but stability and survival. If you have a diverse investment the risk is being lessened.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: April 12, 2018, 11:18:15 AM
I agree with you. I don't understand why many people believe in false news. Fake news makes all things mess up. I don't think that the price of Bitcoin is very easy to fall because of false news. All of these are people who are against change. the behavior of,

Fake news and negative news is like a virus and it spreads fast. Just like in the real world, in terms of health it is hard to maintain to have a healthy body than to be sickly. It is also real in bitcoin industry, when there is negative news and people picked it up they will believe and panic and spread the news to everyone. If you notice fake news spreads faster than good news.

This is a proof that bitcoin is slowly being mainstreamed into the society. If this continues and many individuals will accept bitcoin in exchange for a valuable asset then bitcoin could really fulfill its meaning as a currency, a medium of exchange. It is good to hear such stories and I hope to read more stories such as this in this forum. It is inspiring and could lift up bitcoin holders spirit.
