Does the TOR stick work on Mac/Ubuntu?
The tor stick is basically a bootable privacy os. So, your computer's operating system makes no difference to whether it'll run. Is there a write protect switch on it so I can safely run it in my VM also? No because on the manufacturing level its an extra cost of 25% ish per stick. Maybe that could be an option in the future? Wouldn't mind paying for that option. We'll look into it, the bigger issue is that if we do it for one then we are force to do it for all. |

Great updates for ease of use, today is gonna be big. I've got some BTC over on Mintpal in case some fool dumps on all the good news  Today is gonna be big indeed. My guess is that nobody's gonna dump on our news. It hasn't happened for weeks. However the market's still tentative to buy on our news because of that whale. This means the sell orders are still ripe for the picking for anyone who wants cheap coins! You should think about including new F5 buttons with the Tor stick package for long time members. or at least a sticker.  Hmm... an xc printed mechanical f5 keycap, imagine that. |

What I mean is that coins like BC/NXT/XC/DRK who are/used to be super stable with steady innovation that is ALL known in the roadmap are going to have a lot of people "selling" at some point because of the lack of surprise. You don't think you have to be in the coin 100% of the time as it's steady and incoming innovation is known.
When I'm short in BTC to invest in some other coin, what coin do you think I sell first to get some liquidity ? Well these 4 for SURE... I know they are not going to move a lot, I know the roadmap, there usually isn't anything that is going to make the price change much in the short term. If there were more ninja launch stuff I would keep these instead as I wouldn't want to miss the boat.

Tomorrow we release the ISO for the TOR Stick with Privacy Mode + XChat. It'll be downloadable for free, and you can run it in a virtualised environment or put it on a flash drive. Better clarified this for people reading it that it's tomorrow as in "Thursday" USA timezone. Right? Someone might think Wednesday or something.... Yes but don't expect it at midnight thurs. |
