481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apocalyptic Scenario - What happens to Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2019, 08:11:41 PM
What happens to the value of bitcoin in an apocalyptic scenario? Eg, if the world starts getting hit with electromagnetic pulses which knock out power, or let's say the report that came out a few days ago is true, that civilization as we know it deteriorates by 2050 due to mass migration from climate change.

Many claim that bitcoin will be worthless and gold, guns, and ammunition will be very valuable. On the other hand it has been claimed that bitcoin requires very little infrastructure and would work much better than other things. If bitcoin is truly a store of value, then it should store value especially in unfavorable circumstances.
2050 is really to far and its better to look in the future in a positive way
its only a possibility and we have more years to come to prevent it from happening

482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My reasoning why Bitcoin could collapse (soon) .. privatekeys/publickeys on: June 11, 2019, 07:55:13 PM
I've reasoned to not buy anymore, for investment.  I never held a large amount of a coin, up to a few hundred dollars, but I've reasoned this.
Every public key related to an exact private key.
The algorithm to keep the private key a secret is very complicated.

I know if you google about brute force cracking public to private keys, it would take something, like, millions of years, with the current technology.
Though, I've also read, a few years ago, about things like "Rainbow Tables", that find patterns and stuff while trying to crack stuff, in a complicated way.
Now, Technology, and I'm thinking software now, is obviously evolving at increasing rate.

Artificial Intelligence is to.

I was looking plainly at a public and private key, and though, they're a bunch of keyboard keys , and one relates to another, so, they're the same thing, private
 key, public key.

But obviously I couldn't find a pattern simply by looking at the characters.  Maybe someone very smart could looking at a few hundred or so and figure it out, that would be wild.

Anyway, obviously some kind of pattern COULD  exist, and I'm not saying I'm right, because I do not comprehend the cryptography behind it, I only know some basic coding in a couple languages, but nothing about cryptography.  I do know, that a lot of smart people, are working on AI, as it's the future of stuff.

So, why couldn't a coder, start coding, methods where the software its self, in an AI way, start finding patterns in these private and public keys?  I haven't been looking into BTC in a while, maybe there's articles about this already, but I was just thinking about it.

I think its possible a group, or someone, could find a pattern, using advanced code, Ai in mind, to decipher public keys.
The method of how it's encrypted is known, (Though, Wow, it seems confusing)
But the fact that that's known, and that it's a series of characters, means, there could (I think there IS) patterns to easily crack any public key, with a very sophisticated method, AI coding (If that's a term)

If that happened, and groups of people figured this out, the whole thing and all the alties would collapse.

Those are my thoughts. I don't "invest" anymore though I think its a great future as a currency even in practical non-tech environment, like a credit card.

What do you think?

bitcoin private key is up to 64 character in my opinion i dont think its possible
one lifetime is not enough to crack or brute force private key
well for me i will also not buy things that i dont understand

483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indulging with cryptocurrencies could send you to jail in India on: June 11, 2019, 07:34:30 PM
Hey
Have you guys heard about the news where the court decided to not only make the cryptocurrencies illegal and banning bank accounts from dealing with them they also decided to make another rule.
Now if you have some Bitcoins and you are holding them , or selling them or even buying them , you could be jailed for almost 10 years.
Isn't this the most ridiculous thing ever ?
Like come on people it's really not done , what is the government doing and why ?
There was a time when India was supporting cryptocurrencies , now it's becoming more like China , or I would say even worse in this matter.
I don't think this is something that should be well accounted for all the people residing there.
So would you still hold them ? And do transactions ?

To be honest I have heard the case where a child molester was given a sentence of 6 years , it's bigger than that !

Where is the sanity here ?

It really is very abusive and very harsh made me think whoever draft laws hate cryptocurrency so much, it's almost a capital punishment imagine 10 years, that 10 years here in our country is equal to homicide or large scale estafa, what happened to freedom in India.
i agree the proposed bill is really ridiculous only insane person will approved it
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: June 10, 2019, 07:59:46 PM
yes maybe not everything is like that! everything needs a process, but the fact is like that.
sometimes I think, what's the use of them making their own cryptocurrency but when entering the market there is no further price development. after that it feels like dead!
I hope I don't misjudge.
yes not everything is worthless some coin depend on bitcoin price that when price of bitcoin rise there also possibility that you can also gain profit but you only have small chance.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin lover on: June 10, 2019, 07:57:23 PM
If you are altcoin lover you know how to determine and deal with potential altcoins and you know how to make investments in the right altcoins like Dencoin tokens they have a good altcoin that has the power and potential to grow in the future,so i must say this altcoin is lovable.
even your altcoin lover there a possiblity that you can be wrong. there a lot you need to know before you can fully trust some altcoin. i follow some good altcoin before i see the potential on it. the team and developer is good the purpose have big potential but in the end the team is now gone. its better to just hold small amount and dont trust to much.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin lover on: June 10, 2019, 07:50:08 PM
In my opinion, the one listed on the marketcap coin is a pretty good coin, and moreover the one listed in the top 100 is the best and if you want to buy a large number of altcoins and want good potential then choose altcoins in the top 10  and you are enough to focus on one coin that you want to trade, if you choose too many coins then you will be very difficult
i agree just pick in top 10 the risk is lower but still look if ot have potential following many coin is really difficult. once you miss something like swap you can lose all your coin.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big banks going against crypto on: June 10, 2019, 07:39:23 PM
FinTech banks are disrupting traditional banks, but what if you want to move your money into a cryptocurrency asset? If you sweep your funds into a cryptocurrency account, what cryptocurrency are you going to use to hold your funds?
well if you ask me what crypto i will hold for long term i will hold bitcoin with over 50% and few percentage of eth and last for the different token.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin ATM's reliable? on: June 10, 2019, 07:34:34 PM

489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right desicion not to join on: June 09, 2019, 07:30:56 PM
I made the right decision not to join Yobit campaign every one is jumping to join the bandwagon but I cannot betray my friend who was scammed by Yobit, I can lose a friend if he saw promoting Yobit, who scam big money and for a few dollar, now Yobit promoters are now banned here, what do you think , are you also tempted to join Yobit when everybody are joining ?
well it really right not to join yobit campaign or else you will get ban
many user already got ban and i dont know if its because of yobit or user post a lot in a certain period of time
because in yobit you will need to post 20 a days to get a max rewards

490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temporarily stop crypto trading? on: June 09, 2019, 07:18:25 PM
I suffered losses in recent days, and I decided to stop trading for a while. While looking for capital to return to the market. Shut up to strategize and take compensation for recent losses. Have you ever lost continuously and lost enthusiasm? Thank U.
well it really hard to trade when im still trading i loss a lot of time in some trade
sometime you need to accept it and look for better opportunity
trading give a lot of stress when you lose some money but it also fun when you gain some profit

491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 09, 2019, 07:00:30 PM
Gone are the days when hunters receive huge sums as rewards in fiat value when exchanged. There were cases of someone making as much as over $10000 in a single campaign and it happened that such coins have dumped drastically by now, so the hunter would have lost huge if he never exchanged and then it was the period of receive and dump quickly.

Right now the trend has changed, it is now the period of receive and hold, anyone that dumps will be dumping for a very cheap amount, may end up regretting when such tokens have pumped several amounts higher than how much was sold. Imagine working for three months and receiving $10 in token exchange value and dumping at such amount where it would be worth about $100 waiting for some months being favored with the impending bull run.
Holding is really one of the best strategy in Crypto and bounty hunter is now force to hold
because sometime coin is low value than minimum for trade or no exchange
i also have lot of token from participating in some campaign
i just hold almost all of it hoping someday i will be rewarded for being patience.

493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whales are out of control = $500 in ten minutes on: June 09, 2019, 06:31:00 AM
Time to do something about the few whales who keep cheating everyone out of their life savings.

Let's do a fork and take anything over 10BTC away from those big addresses and redistribute it fairly to everyone.  It is ridiculous and totally ruining everything when one person has 1000s and can mess up the order book on a major exchange.  Where is the fairness in bitcoin?

We have to end the whales who are out of control.
well we cant do anything about its their money and investment
its the same with us we can sell or buy anytime they just do it with large amount
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: June 08, 2019, 10:34:06 PM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.
if the coin is really a good project even if it drop after the offering there a possiblity the price will rise in the future just hold it long term.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: June 08, 2019, 02:36:09 PM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
in my opinion exchange earn a lot from fee they should hire some hacker to test their security. they need to make user feel safe using their platform they need to make the fee worth it . it just sad that almost all exchange didnt bother to do it they are just waiting to cash flow in their hands and when the hacking occur they will just disappear. for the scam and fraud we need to do a way to educate those new in crypto. that investing in crypto is risky and there no easy money .
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: June 08, 2019, 02:15:49 PM
There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.
ICO can be determined by their purpose , good team and developer , community support and trust. we can say you can add creativity in ICO but the question is does the team can implement it or the team are capable of doing it. there are a lot of creative ICO but after the offering they just simple disappear because they cant implement what they promise and due to lack of trust ICO will always in the way to fail because other ICO already exhaust the trust of the investor.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain replace the SWIFT system used by Banks? on: June 08, 2019, 02:03:21 PM
With Ripple's growing partnerships among banks and businesses worldwide, it seems that traditional payment systems will become replaced with DLT technology (aka as Blockchain). Because of the many benefits such technology provides, it looks likely that it will replace the old SWIFT system in the future. Unless such system does the switch to Distributed Ledger Technology, it may become outperformed by Ripple or Stellar in the future.

On the other hand, IBM has been working on a new payment network called "World Wire" powered by the Stellar protocol. Which means that existing players could be left in the dust if they don't grasp the benefits of the Blockchain.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh
well blockchain is really advanced technology and some company need to take the opportunity and upgrade to keep them advanced from their competitors or else they will be left behind.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook's Libra - Implications. on: June 08, 2019, 01:55:02 PM
Facebook acquired Chainspace earlier this year and then I've been reading about this techcrunch rumor of an 18th june whitepaper release. How close to truth is that?
Considering the idea here is to create a currency alternative to euro or usd as opposed to a security token, what can be the implications?
Surely speculative aspects are gone down the drain. And its going to be node licenced with each costing up to 10 million, and apparently only available for lease to large corps. so the small businesses / regular crypto investor is out of the game.. or is there a way for anyone of us to actually get a piece of the cake?
i think i read something about it being stablecoin. they say you will not pay fee in transaction in the platform and user can earn it from viewing ads i dont think we will earn a lot from viewing ads and also who like to watch ads. this year they put 5-15 seconds unskipable ads in some video and really annoying. the coin will only good to promote their platform as of now there nothing new about it i think ive seen something similar to it before the only good thing is its being supported by large company. but it still not finalize so still expect somethong from it.

500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: June 07, 2019, 01:48:52 PM
As an investor, i cannot participate in IEO conducted by small and new exchanges. The main reason why IEOs are preferred to ICOs is because they are more prone to scam than ICOs, and this is because the exchange validates its legality with their reputation. Imagine Binance or any top exchange conducting a scam project, it will jeopardize their integrity, and these exchanges do not want their integrity in question, so they only offer legit and promising projects IEO. New exchanges do not have the reputation to validate a project, they are just after the profit, SO they might promote a scam project either intentionally or unintentionally.
in my opinion IEO or ICO is same way its a investment so there are always a risk. before there are lot ICO that happen in exchange its similar to IEO and a lot of those coin become scam or team abandon the token and build a new one.Result price drop and investor loss load of cash.So i think there a high possibility that some IEO will also turn to scam. its better to make a lot of research because only those token with dedicated team, solid supporters and good purpose survive.
