I see have several wallet sites. My opinion: blockchain.
But in my experience, desktop wallets are better than web based wallets. But blockchain.info is unique by the way it provide access to our private keys and you can access your bitcoins via internet from anywhere. Both online wallets and desktop software wallets have many pros and cons. We must choose a wallet which lets us to access private key and easy set up based. Any wallet we can use but we need to have strong password or phone verification enabled are better ways to have secured wallets. |

That's a great idea. If you do lose, you're technically losing free money that you've earned by claiming sathosi. I might try this, can't believe I never got this idea. It's good idea of staring gambling with free money. But I was not able to manage to be profitable when ever I tried with free money or trail accounts as I do not get my concentrations and skills really applied where ever needed unlike when I play with my hard earned money. |

i agree majority of my btc is holding to go price up, rest is for a little bit of fun If you believe in the philosophy of life is short, you will spend some bitcoins for fun now itself. I believe in bitcoin so I never spend any satoshi now itself. I just hold them for bigger price raise. Holding big amounts of bitcoin also will lengthen my life. Yes, selling at the right time and at right price is good decision to make, holding is the good thing to do, I keep on spending it when I feel to spend, we are earning money to spend and for me same goes with bitcoins, I spend it on every weekend as I am not much worried about future, because if it cannot be helpful in present then future is far away, I earn and I spend, simple. Holding bitcoin for bigger price may be the right thing for passive bitcoin trader or for bitcoiners. But selling at higher prices is must for a active bitcoin traders. So, buying at lower prices and selling for profit is a continuous action for me. I have some bitcoins in cold storage, only those are sleeping for higher price raise. Yes holding bitcoin is not possible for all the bitcoiners. Maybe holding in part is a viable solution if you believe in price raise of bitcoin. Because we need money for our everyday living. So, we can save only some portion of our earning in bitcoin for some long time. To hold all of your earnings in bitcoin, you must have alternate source of income for your daily expenses. If we have, then we can save all our earnings in bitcoin. I do save all my bitcoin for future use. I do spend only my fiat earning for my living. |

I think you don't the meaning of share market investment that's why you telling that investing in share market is guessing game. But real scenario is your buying a business if you don't understand the company business then don't invest in that company. So as per me share market investment for long term is totally different from gambling.
Not everyone buying shares for long term some people just treat it like day trading and nothing special about that. The fast market and high volume is the reason people use it for day trading What you said is correct, every one want's fast money and at the end who ever goes for these kind of fast money they will end up losing all their money in super fast way. If you check the share market history most of the day traders has lost money but who ever used share market for long term investment tool only made very good profits. So share market is for making profits in long term but not for short term. Yes even share market and gambling are compared for many reasons, in my perspective share market is good if you go for long term. In my friends, many people have achieved big amounts of money from share market for keeping their stocks for around 10 years. But there is no history similar to this from gambling. |

No i think some people still use faucet as their first impression to know and own bitcoin freely. yeah i still use faucets. i got my first mbtc through faucets which gave me motivation to do it more seriously which led to earn my first btc. faucets has been a big help to btc. Like you many people are still continuing their faucet working just considering it's a free money over time. I too we believe those little satoshi from faucets will worth some big dollars in future. So, keeping faucet earning is not a bad idea even after we have big amount of bitcoins. |

It all depends on your choosing, whenever you like the flexibility of having control of your own money, or to have the ability to earn interest from your savings account, I would like to state that each has their advantages and disadvantages. So until Bitcoin becomes a mainstream currency, it is best to use both a bank account and a Bitcoin wallet. Just my opinion.  there are advantages and disadvantages of both, the best is use both I like the bank because there is interest  But I love bitcoin because there are huge returns compared to any bank interest. But still bitcoin goes to mainstream I will be forced to use both bitcoin as well as bank account. But definitely bitcoin will give more retunrs than any bank interests in long term basis. |

I may not buy even for 1 satoshi as spending bitcoin is not in my agenda right now. Instead I can buy with the equivalent amount of fiats. I love bitcoin, so spending it some what annoying to me. I may give all my bitcoins to my son, I never have plan of spending bitcoins.

It is not a good idea for me. My earnings in bitcoin is not yet stable and I have mouths to feed. So I am still very reliant on my day job's paycheck. When the time comes that my bitcoin earnings can support my family, then I will consider leaving my day job and focus full time on bitcoin. Until that day, doing tasks for BTC would remain my side jobs.
you can start invest at bitcoin save your earning from bitcoin and hold it some people says at 2016 bitcoin price can back to $1000  That's exactly what I'm doing. I still have my job and do a bit of bitcoin on the side. You may retire from your current job in 5 to 10 years regardless of your age if you earn and hold some 100 bitcoins in these period. I'm not joking, bitcoin price will hit $1000 in 2016 then in two years it may test $10k. Over all in next five to ten years, we can expect one million dollar per one bitcoin. Just calculate how much you need for rest of your life. |

I think the btc value will raise up to hit the 500$ resistance by the end of the year, but now i think it will stay stable over the 300$ ground base in a side movement.
There is nothing which indicated that bitcoin will reach $500. It is exactly otherwise. Latest, and no so optimistic news from EU is the example. If EU introduce new bitcoin restrictions and idiotic control laws under the guise of fighting terrorism it will be quite negative for the bitcoin price. At this point it's not clear yet what the new restrictions will be like. People don't seem to care much as the price is remaining fairly stable in the $320-$340 range. It is very nice to see bitcoin prices are sustaining around $330 levels. I don't think bitcoin will never break or test again $300 levels. Because $300 must be a very good resistance it is very hard to break. I strongly believe bitcoin Prise will stay above $300 levels hereafter. |

OP have problem with gambling, obviosly he can't control yourself, because he appeared this thread. my suggestion to find some new hobby with pets or plants. but i guess that it is very difficult because there is no adrenaline to which gamblers are accustomed Engaging ourselves with other activities may give some good results to overcome the gambling addictions. One of my friend to rid gambling, he never keeps money with himself. He is on progress towards breaking his addictions. Find the problem and planning according to would help to avoid or to overcome the gambling addiction. |

For me there is no safe method in gambling. There are 2 very important points that would help any gambler control their losses or even enter in profit, that is a good bankroll management (this is crucial to survive the variance and profit in the long term), and leave emotions out of gambling so you always know what you are doing. May be a self control and well money management are the working way of playing gambling in safer way. I guess we need to treat gambling same as trading Forex. In Forex trading we need to have good emotion control and very disciplined on every activities of decision-making. Same things may help to make gambling safe. |

Yes both winning in gambling or losing make a gambler to play again and again. In the event of losses, people are blindly believing to recover their losses from same game. I am too like that, but I do not know how we are believing a gambling play to recover our losses. This may be a starting point of addiction. Winning or losing is not a matter in gambling to get addicted. Because both winners as well as losers are getting addicted to gambling for their own reasons. In general we can say gambling is addictive regardless of your success or failure with gambling. |

im still storing my bitcoin at blockchain from beginning, i've got no problem but some of my friend say that blockchain isn't safe, i would give trezor a try probably it's the most secure wallet in bitcoin world It is better not to store bitcoin in online service unless there is multsignature feature. If there is a security flaw in the online system, you might be in trouble. Keeping your bitcoin under your control must be the safest way of storing hard-earned bitcoins. So I do always prefer go for desktop bitcoin wallets for storing my bitcoins. These wallets stores more secure if you disconnect them from Internet, the off-line, cold storage way. |

Yeah but the difference is that they will only use and spend bitcoins in shopping, they would never try to earn it, and that is the difference between boys and girls, boys will work hard to earn bitcoins and girls will spend their hard earned coins in fraction of seconds but yes there are some girls who are earning bitcoins too and that is the good sign for bitcoin community. Yup! there are girl/woman that maybe spending their partners bitcoin most of the time, but A lot I know are earning it, maybe a knowledge to bitcoin can change the way they think about bitcoin, I had friends like that, when I explain what is bitcoin and all of the good things bitcoin can do for them, they now start in increasing their own bitcoin wallet. Yeah, and that is the good sign, we live in the world where we can find all kind of persons, some of them would take it positively, they will work hard to earn it and there would be some lazy people who just believes in spending it and that is out of our control and if girls contributes to the bitcoin community then it would definitely add value to the community. Yes girls are equally interested on bitcoin ecosystem so far I have observed in my office and in my friend Circle. I couldn't find any gender difference the advantage of using bitcoin. All the above girls are more conscious about investments and in the future of bitcoin than men. Bitcoin newbies, non bitcoin users and right now , me  Its not that easy to get 1 btc(unless you'll buy some) nowadays, so definitely there's some that don't have 1 btc yet (especially those who just want to earn btc) A lot of ppl on this forum are from developing countries, are young, or are new to bitcoin...that's why you see so many posts of ppl that have dust in their wallets. Do you think someone with 20 or 50 bitcoin is going to waste their time announcing it on this thread? No. If you aant to know how much ppl have start a poll so it can be responded to anonymously. I believe they also will announce their holdings just encourage the new comers and how much is possible to we can make from bitcoin. These are the simple way to spread out bitcoin advantages of holding it. We need to spread them. |
