I'm not sure there is any attack and I don't see why you are worried by a coin with $195 000 of market cap when Cloak is running over $4 million. Crypto as a whole needs more people like him, and less apologists.
I've been known to kick up a shitstorm myself, I almost single handedly killed ZimStake (while holding over 20,000 of them mind you) by being the only one in that community with the balls to call out the Dev on being absent for a month straight, as the community got 25,000 votes on mintpal on our own, he decided it wasn't worth his time to even make an appearance the day we got listed. Oh wait he did, said that he'd have an announcement later that night, then he want absent for another week. While the ANN thread was nothing but people saying how great this coin is, i was the only one asking WTF is going on. whenever i did i'd get apologist shitheads calling me out for trying to hurt their investment, as they were just trying to prop up a house of cards.
In the end it was thanks to ME, and a couple others that followed my lead that the dev actually came back and started taking responsability after his coin lost %90 of it's value for not delivering anything. If you don't hold people's feet to the fire, they won't get shit done. ZimStake is now on the road to recovery and will be back to 10k+ satoshis in no time, for a coin with 3.5 million coins, it's very cheap. And those of you invested in DRK, if you want to help your investment, then here's some free advice, stop propping up garbage with a big smile on your face trying to get others to hold your bags for you, your time would be better spent on giving your devs a clue about what's really happening in the anon world, because they obviously are in need of help. if you see something bad happening and don't call it out, you're as complacent as those in charge for destroying the investment, you're an accessory.

I'm sure you are already aware of these subreddits as they were mentioned on the Cloak thread in Darkcointalk. The only thing backing up their FUDpacking is their financial agenda (DRK masternodes). I could link articles and videos where Cloak was mentioned; Furthermore, lead you to the comment section where the same DRK trolls are attacking Cloak. But I won't because that type of trash doesn't belong in here. Bob can say whatever he wants because he was a former DRK holder -- these trolls were not Cloak holders. If someone wants to take Bob's advice it's their choice. He's made a good amount of BTC by making sound investments so I would think someone would take his advice wisely. Although you keep mentioning Bob, you fail to mention the FUDpacking that your own house is doing to Cloak across the net. Here is why I don't touch currencies like Cloakcoin and Blackcoin. One of the strengths of Bitcoin and Darkcoin lies in the ongoing proof of work. Anyone entering the field today can see that there are still lots of coins left to be mined. This fact subtly enhances the appeal to newcomers. When a newcomer first sees the capital investment required to secure a PoW network, it strikes an impression. The GPU and ASIC farms actually lend credibility to the concept of and value within cryptocurrencies, as they provide a tangible link between the currencies and the real world. I won't even touch upon the security reasons for PoW vs. PoS. Why did Cloakcoin only have a 7 day proof of work? To grossly reward the miners with the full distribution of coins up front (minus the inflation subsidy). This is disguised as fair distribution when, in today's reality of renting mining rigs by the day, it enables the equivalent of instamining the full supply. It's cheating, plain and simple. It has been well discussed how Darkcoin did not have a smooth launch. Say what you want about the early days, accidental instamine or otherwise. At least the community can say that only 20% of the full supply is out there. Darkcoin is designed for the long haul, just like Bitcoin, and I applaud Evan and team for taking the long view. Ahaha, I'd assumed cloak was garbage, but I didn't realise it was this rotten. Seriously, you'd have to be clinically cretinous to throw money at such junk. While I'm stating my frank opinions about other cryptocoins, I read up on Etherium yesterday - what a fucking joke. The whole 'let's make a simple to use cross platform scripting language' thing sounds great, until you realise that python already exists and python doesn't cost you a never ending stream of money to deploy your apps. The Ether supply has no upper bound, you have to keep buying it for your miracle apps to keep working anywhere. Fuck. Right. Off. Personally, I love the part where DRKLord proclaims the video is fake, but then immediately says he doesn't know enough about Cloak to give an opinion. Nope... it's not FUD, just as long as an official member of your coin's development team is doing on a public message board for your coin.
Find me one thread where a Cloakcoin developer or team member does something similar in any public forum.

As good as a coin CLoak is, having community members like BobSurplus will hurt it. Dude goes in other threads and Fuds the shit out their coins and disrespects the developers and communities for really no reason, (which only confirms your insecurities Bob).
