501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin circulation increases on: November 11, 2021, 04:35:30 PM
Sorry if my assumption about bitcoin circulating is wrong according to your understanding. I just think that there are million of bitcoin stored in wallet that are currently inactive due to user error or the owner has died will no longer be in circulating so the total of 21 million bitcoin will no longer arrive. I mean some wallet may have been reactivated because they have been restored by their owners and that has increased the supply currently circulating both in the market and in the community. I just want to know what you think about it, can it affect the bitcoin market?
You are referring to the flow of bitcoin in the market (that's quite different from circulation). I guess there are a few old HODLers who are transferring their bitcoin from their old address to exchanges; I have seen a few txs in whalealert but haven't put close eyes. That would definitely affect the market if the number of bitcoin flow increases. But that will not be huge. Few months back, we have seen market to get crashed for an inactive address getting active but that's not going to happen anymore unless it's satoshi's address.
502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet for storing Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 04:24:34 PM
Personally, I'm using both Ledger & Safepal (got it recently) and so far the experience with these is great. I guess you would rather go with a hardware wallet & I would recommend you have Safepal a try. It's very user-friendly and easy to use. You will enjoy it certainly.

You only add money on your physical pocket wallet(hot wallet) for daily spending, but you hold most of your wealth on your bank account(cold wallet).
Sasfepal can be used as both a pocket wallet (for regular tx from anywhere) & for storing purpose as well (airgapped).
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee ( Participants only) on: November 11, 2021, 03:38:10 PM

Wrong. This is why the T-20 format is unpredictable.
Yeah, I thought NZ was going to lose. You are giving me no chance to lose you LOL. I picked Pakistan to win today & luckily you have gone with the opposite. It's the last chance for me to create the opportunity to reach #1 LOL.
Pakistan will be having a total of 180 or closer which I guess is a very good score to lose Aussies as Pakistan bowling so far seems to be the best this season.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee ( Participants only) on: November 10, 2021, 04:40:01 PM
Once again New Zealand is going to be smashed by England. That's pretty bad luck of Kiwis. They have played a lot of Semis and recently final as well but couldn’t win the championship yet.
Another sad day for them I guess. They need 109 run from 60 ball; lost 2 early wickets. I had a bet on England. Though the chase still seems achievable, I guess NZ will fail once again as they did many times.
505  Other / Meta / Re: Red Tag is becoming Rampant in the Forum. on: November 10, 2021, 04:25:08 PM
There's only a rare case that negative trust user got accepted on campaign maybe less than 10 base on my trust list depth.
I don't know how many negative tagged users have been accepted but I'm sure I have seen users other than OgNasty and Quickseller. I can't remember the name. If you have seen recent signature campaign, you will find out that there's not enough quality participants applying. Last time, I checked blackjack.fun campaign & found they had few open slot but there was not enough quality application. That's what I meant. There are a lot of campaign but lack of quality posters which increased the demand of quality posters; campaign managers are more likely to accept quality poster instead of shit poster. As a result, they would accept negative tagged member depending on the legitimacy of the feedback.

When a user has a -ive tag, I mostly read the feedback first before deciding to make a reply or quoting them. If they were tagged as a spammer or account farmer
People get tagged for spamming? I seriously need to check people’s feedback page LOL. JK, I don't care. I quote if I find it necessary to quote. Feedback is mostly given for having better trading experience. I would prefer using feedback for that purpose.
506  Other / Meta / Re: Red Tag is becoming Rampant in the Forum. on: November 10, 2021, 03:54:28 PM
I used to avoid anyone with -ve trust, I hardly quote them or reply their quotes and they were somewhat few then.
You should keep them separate; engaging in discussion & trading. Feedback is a sign of how much trusted a user can be while engaging in discussion is somewhat else. I don't mind hearing, replying to people who put quality into their posts regardless of their feedback. I guess you can't deny that Quickseller is a good quality poster but he has a lot of negative feedback; that doesn't mean you should avoid them.

I think you're just seeing clusters of shitposters for 1xbit or some other shady campaign or members of an alt ring that got busted; I don't think the level of tagging has increased drastically over the last few months or even years (though I could be wrong, as I have no data on that).
Most likely but in recent days, negative tagged accounts are also accepted in different signature campaigns depending on the legitimacy of the feedback. Apart from that, the number of active signature campaigns has increased significantly in comparison to the last 2 years I have observed. That can be another reason probably.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store your keys? on: November 09, 2021, 05:43:02 PM
If I’ve done my research correctly , these vaults were owned by Xapo and were sold to Coinbase . I would certainly not trust Coinbase with 1 satoshi of mine !

https://thehustle.co/coinbase-vault-bitcoin-xapo/
What does that mean? Who owns the vault? Who has access? According to the article shared by OP, I can see there's a vault for hiding documents of crypto-asset somewhere in the Swiss Alps. Who will have access? Is it coinbase? I can't see any mention of coinbase there; did I miss anything? This is what I have found from the article-
Quote
A ‘military-grade’ bunker in the Swiss Alps has opened its vaults to wealthy cryptoasset investors, corporations and institutions in search of a secure place to store their digital currencies.
508  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to list our new TRC20 token here for a thread on: November 09, 2021, 05:31:10 PM
Creating a bitcointalk thread is easy. Just add everything you think should share with the community and post that altcoin announcement section. That's it.

Most of the exchanges ask for a big fee to list a project. Are you willing to pay that fee? Or, you are looking for free listing which is impossible for most of the exchanges & some exchanges even list for free, I guess they would be without enough traders. If you are willing to pay a fee, we can work out with reputed escrow from the forum & I can help you with listing in some good exchanges.
509  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Stake scamming me for 8.3 LTC? on: November 09, 2021, 05:17:23 PM
They must have a pop-up saying the address error. I can't remember as I forgot if I have ever done that mistake or not.
I believe stake has given you transaction details, at least a tx id? Can you share that? If they really have sent LTC to a random address, they have nothing to do nor they are liable to IMO as it's your mistake.

Quote
I even attempted to send LTC on coinbase to a BTC address and it denies it saying that the address is incorrect.
That's coinbase. They have the system that doesn't necessarily mean every other site will have as well. It would be great to have such a feature but it's your responsibility as well.

Nevertheless, if stake has sent LTC to a random address, you are unlikely to achieve anything here.
510  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc game closed my account with 115+ referrals without giving any warning on: November 09, 2021, 04:37:10 PM
I can say that when a player makes a large deposit during our deposit bonus periods to fill up their locked BCD bonus amount and then immediately withdraws leaving their account with only the locked BCD, that in itself is bonus abuse. Then, to spend the next few months only collecting playable bonuses from everywhere possible to chip away at unlocking the ill gotten deposit bonus amount is adding insult to injury. I feel bad that the OP had his account locked because I don't believe he was being intentionally malicious or multi account bonus scamming.
Thank you for your clarification. It makes enough sense but can you please point out where did you mention that if a player deposit only to take the bonus will be counted as bonus abuse? Is there any specific statement? This is a loophole of course & there will be people to find out that loophole to abuse but don't you think you could have use more strict rules? Did you state this anywhere? It will be unethical if you didn't say this anywhere but locking an account just because this is abuse (without any mention in the bonus rules). I don't know if you have set this rule or not. If you have, I guess you are fine.
511  Other / Archival / Re: - on: November 08, 2021, 05:00:48 PM
I can't see Cricket anywhere in the announcement nor in the website. I don't know why most bookies launches without cricket having as an option while it's popular in India which is the most populous country. Apart from that, there are few more countries as well.
Why don’t you consider adding cricket? I liked that you are accepting crypto and no KYC is there. I will have an eye on this thread.
512  Other / Meta / Re: Is "Scam accusation" board utilizing effectively? on: November 08, 2021, 04:41:25 PM
If that board seems boring to you, don't visit it or ignore it, you wouldn't believe how simple it is Wink
It's not about ignoring & getting rid of the shits. It's all about the usage of the board as I have clearly stated in the title "Effectively". If the board doesn't serve its purpose, where's the necessity of having it either?
In the first 2 pages, I got 2 threads on scam accusations of the forum user. How the board is helping us to identify forum scammers? It's not even possible to find out a thread where there's a forum scam accusation existed. I believe this board was mainly created to post the on forum scam accusation though over the years it has turned into crap like this. I don't want to mention what are the craps; I believe most of you know which threads I'm talking about.
513  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc game closed my account with 115+ referrals without giving any warning on: November 08, 2021, 03:28:10 PM

How do you know this? Are you any of the representatives of bc.game?
If what you shared is true, I guess there's nothing wrong with locking the account as OP intended to abuse the system to get the bonus. Multiple accounts is a BIG no in casinos all the time & having multiple account for abusing the referal bonus isn't obiously something any casino will tolerate. I don't think bc.game is wrong here if what you shared is true.

OP, can you please confirm the above statement is true or wrong? If you are tryinmg to abuse, what do you expect from them either?
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 CMC Watchlist Promotion 🚀 Hit the Trending Page 🚀 Gain 3.5k+ Watchlist Adds on: November 06, 2021, 05:29:15 PM

If i understood you well, do you meant that the project (listed in cmc) contacted op (giveaway host) to do promotion via giveaway?
Yeah exactly that's what I was referring to. That's what most of the hyped projects do & it's easy to increase the watchlist to a few thousands within few days or even on a single days. Recently, I was scrolling in twitter and found one post doing such a giveaway where participants where requires to add coin to watchlist.
515  Other / Meta / Is "Scam accusation" board utilizing effectively? on: November 06, 2021, 05:25:11 PM
Most of the times, all I can see "Scam accusation" is full of X airdrop scam, X coin fake airdrop scam, X coin phishing scam. I don't know; maybe I'm the only one to getting board on this. I don't see any scam accusation which needs the attention of bitcointalk community. In my opinion, most are same repetitive all the time & helps no single bitcointalk user.
If I'm correct on the above statement, can someone point out where's the need of creating such threads? If I'm nlt correct, please point out who are getting benefitted from that threads?
This is not a personal attack. I have been noticing this for a quite long time and I realized that such kinda threads really help no one.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee ( Participants only) on: November 06, 2021, 05:13:52 PM
Looks like South Africa are out of the race at this point.
Will they go into semi if they win the match? Or they need a big margin as said above. It was a good start by South Africa & luck was favoring them too at the beginning (Roy was retd hurt). But now, England seems to be getting back into the match & it's not possible to have a big margin for KSA anymore I guess.
517  Economy / Reputation / Re: Duelbits, Rangers Protocol and 1xBit.com - 7 farm accounts? Who is superfluous? on: November 06, 2021, 04:20:01 PM
Don't bounty managers look at feedback, or do these projects just not care about who they let advertise for them on the forum?
Off forum advertisements like twitter, facebook, youtube, etc. have no connection with forum reputation, do they? In the case of the signature campaign, I guess forum reputation matters as signatures are somewhat a voucher to others. Nevertheless, it must be depended on the depth of the feedback. If you have clearly stated someone feedback with cheating bounty campaign, they must be cheating all the times & managers should think twice before accepting such farm as this may cause gaining 50% or even more rewards to one single hand.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Taproot will follow segwit pump on: November 05, 2021, 05:46:41 PM
I'm active in few crypto communities for the last few months. Recently, taproot has been a great topic to discuss & some are expecting a huge pump after the activation of taproot as it was after the segwit activation. Will taproot really have that huge impact? FYI, I'm not much expert; I only understand taproot in theory but technically, I don’t know anything at all.
519  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: November 05, 2021, 05:43:39 PM
I don't know why the second paragraph was so secretive before that I can tell you that this is the first time the merit source has featured it for me.
I guess you have missed it either or you were not much active in meta lately. I have seen this message from merit sources a few times. I guess someone was looking for more source merits and posted this message when I first time saw this.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee ( Participants only) on: November 05, 2021, 05:36:03 PM
JSRAW, are you forgetting the fact that if NZ somehow wins the next match, they are confirmed in semi. I don't think they will give a chance to Afghanistan & you know Kiwis are hot favorite for reaching semi. TBH, I don't think India is going for semi but we can hope for the betterment.
I had a bet India to win in the power play but sadly it was 3 more ball and I lost the bet.
