The name of the coin will remain DopeCoin.
I realize that this sometimes rubs new people the wrong way but the reality is that we have been around for a long time and we have been through a lot. Rebranding the coin as something different would cause a lot of confusion and would make little sense as it would be better to just make a new coin...
Our dispensary partners love the coin and have no issues with the name. We are currently working on payment API integrations and educational videos as we work to bring new shop owners and users to the project.
Should be an interesting month, I will keep you updated with any new developments as they are taking place and completed.
Problem is dope was never really meant towards marijuana, it has a longer history use with smoking the poppi and it is more related to heroin or meth use. You hardly hear somebody say "let's smoke a dope joint", instead you might hear "let's shoot up some dope" meaning heroin or "smoke dope" meaning meth. Really think about it, not just "dope is legacy, never going to change it". With all the creatives in here, I'm surprised no one has come up with something more creative and proper. Those two things have nothing to do with heroin and meth use ? Any explanation why people with millions of dollars would use the word 'dope' and 'weed' together if it has nothing to do with weed ? - Turning to dope in its specific drug sense: in 1886 (according to Green’s Dictionary of Slang), we first heard of a dope fiend – a drug user. A few years later, we find dope referring to opium or a morphine derivative. Quick update:
We have decided to move the development of Cannindex on to a new chain with more flexibility and resources. We have reason to believe that d9 has been dumping his premine on our efforts, instead of establishing communications and allowing us to progress cannabiscoin.
We are abandoning cannabiscoin for a better technology. Without access to the github, we wont beable to upgrade CANN, and therefor would be limited to the functionality we intended for our project.
It was a novel idea to build a product on cannabiscoin, but for all intents and purposes we must move on to a more tangible platform.

In the future you should consider rebranding and even getting a professional marketing team.
Rebranding by a professional team on the subject can bring a lot of attention to Dopecoin.
The current name while ok for crypto world, it won't be too good for mainstream audiences

Only less than 2 days left until the presale end and so far already more than BTC 1.700 collected by the team with very little advertisement. This prove that this project isn't drived by hype and the investor really trust the project. Very excited to see the future of this project.
Well compared to what other ICOs are doing to advertise their Altcoin compared to QUANTUM they really have little advertisement on promoting their Altcoin, unlike other Altcoins like Humaniq in which they have banners on several sites, QUANTUM only have signature campaign to promote their Altcoin, and having 1700 Bitcoin means a lot to their success. Yes your right We just might speculate that the signature campaign did have a positive bearing to get those numbers in but job not yet done...we just might get those last might entries from investors keeping a close eye on the project. Did someone say 2500 BTC  Anyone have the bitcoin address where the funds are being held? |

All of you need to be patient, HEAT is not ready for big exchanges yet.
At least let the devs work out most of the bugs before trying.
Besides it just takes some BTC to get listed on whatever exchange you feel like, devs probably don't feel it is ready for exchange yet.

At this point, NEM should use community funds to develop its own hardware wallet. No, it's good to use Community Funds to develop integration in existing Hardwallet. Everyone who already has one doesn't want to buy a new one just for NEM. How bout using the community funds to develop NEM own propietary hardware wallet, 50% of profits from sales to developers and 50% towards angel investors. Just an idea. I highly approve of either plan. It would be nice to see the community fund deliver an unassailable benefit to all. I shudder to think how certain XEMs are being stored right now. A hardware wallet ready to roll adds extra real value to the entire system. Take it a step further even, %profits to developers, %profits towards angel investors, and another %profits towards those who hold a certain amount of NEM in their wallets and use it for transactions (like harvesting but profit from sales instead). Truly making it a New Economy Movement for the benefit of all. Implementation of something like this would be another problem to tackle though, so just ideas. |

I want to ask This disorder has been running about 1 week, I have a wallet raiblocks that I keep in my RDP account, because to run this software smoothly must be supported by high specification and online 24 hours. "CMIIW" Short story a week ago I moved the account to another RDP account (moved, because the old account is expired) but after a few days until now the block count in the wallet is just spinning the number (inside the parenthesis) outside does not increase as a result of the transaction Not / not yet signed in to my account Maybe all of you can give me a solution / suggestion for me or maybe there is also who is going through an incident like me this  a) Perhaps you have to restart wallet b) Moved with Seed backup? Then you can also use 2nd part of instruction to speed up sync (actually download almost up-to-date blockchain archive) Make sure to save SEED! If you already set up password, unlock before backup Advanced --> Accounts --> Backup/clipboard wallet Seed Then paste with Ctrl+V in Notepad and save in safe place 64 digits and letters Check twice! Not sure but harvesting works similar to what you are looking for. |
