501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: May 22, 2017, 09:10:44 PM
Have you looked into mining with HDD's at all?  There is a nice little Burstcoin calculator out there, but can't seem to find anything similar for Storj?  I love the idea and think it could be big, especially with Storj's huge ICO the other day, but want to do some estimates before throwing a grand or two into harddrives.
502  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: May 22, 2017, 02:03:09 AM
So along DirectBet, I really enjoyed using your site.  Not going to lie, a little perturbed as I was close to getting a .05 bet bonus for the month, but alas, it doesn't sound like that matters.

You still ran a wonderful and honest site, it will be sad to see you go.  Thank you for all the work over the years.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a multi millionaire because of NEM XEM on: May 22, 2017, 02:00:22 AM
As much as I would like to be happy for your, this seems like a pretty blatant lie.  You refuse to post proof which is just super fishy.  Are you just trying to create hype around some coin since your in the hole so much?
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner B3 plus , batch 5 is coming at today! on: May 17, 2017, 06:07:46 PM
I would happily buy 50+ but the incredibly unprofessional approach that Pandaminer has taken to their batch sales is simply stunning. Not even able to provide an actual time UTC +8 how about sticking to universal formats? Or sticking to their schedule is beyond pathetic.
^^
this.. changed my mind after what appears to me totally unprofessional behavior by Pandaminer.. i'll probably just get my own rigs built... there are alternatives which appear to be far better and cost efficient in the long run..

I think I will take this road also.
Since I never build a rig on my own, if you have the time & the will I would appreciate a few advices from your part.

Thank you

505  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have PayPal, want BTC. Will be buying everyday. Need a fulltime Supplier on: May 16, 2017, 07:53:18 PM
Why would you pick a username like that and then want to deal with Paypal?  Obviously, your going to rant and rave that this is BS and blah blah blah, but the fact of the matter is your probably a scammer and looking to take some btc from a newbie.  Have fun with your neg trust.
Why the fuck do you post on my thread when I clearly said that shit talkers who boost post have no permission to comment here?
Exchanging with PayPal is the easier and more profitable way for me. I swear to god you shit talkers crank me the fuck up,
And anybody is capable of scamming so don't bother me with your bullshit, it can be you, your mother, your grandfather, ANYFUCKINGBODY.

You really are stupid aren't you.  The first thing I look for when calling a scam is whether they say, "If your shit talker don't post".  That is literally the dumbest thing I have ever heard.  I have been scammed for well over 60k over the last few years, and I refuse to let others fall prey to the scams and schemes of those who have no life and resort to stealing instead of getting their fat asses up and get a job.

So no, I will not listen to your ranting and raving and I will continue to speak out against anyone who is very clearly trying to rip other people off.  At the very least, if you aren't trying to steal, you should be smart enough to know that using paypal is not how things are done around here.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 16, 2017, 03:57:56 PM
So after tearing these things apart and figuring out how they work (driver for these are open source as well which is cool), pretty sure that bitmain is purposely shipping these to underperform. The actual boards are built to output way more power than they currently are with shipped settings.

I've been able to play with the voltage controller on the boards and have them hashing at over 600mh currently with same power draw lol. I might try a over volt/ over clock and see what I can push them at within the thermal envelope.

Your joking, that is absolutely insane and on a new level of scummy/scammy.  So they are running these things at 20% higher hashing power in their own facilities, but then shipping them with crappier settings so that they keep a higher percentage of the network without having to do squat.  That is pretty shitty, even for them.

Or we accept the other side of the argument and suppose that they are idiots who didn't know they could be pushed that far, seems unlikely though.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 13, 2017, 02:33:58 PM
Response from Bitmain was quite greedy...

No refund but they will credit my account until I find something I want .... so they can earn % on it in their bank...

Quite greedy?  That is a lot more understanding than I am sure anyone thought you would get.  It specifically says that there are no refunds.  Despite that you agreed to purchase the unit without proper research.  You should be extremely grateful that they are willing to at least give you store credit.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 12, 2017, 05:53:42 PM
So it will be from 1 month ROI to 6 months by July you think ? Smiley

Anyone who gives you any numbers are just guessing, no one knows.  Its better to look at the environment and make assertions for yourself.

Doesn't matter anyway.  Bitmain has a no cancellation policy.  It was pretty genius actually, reel buyers in by offering batches a month apart, then when you sell out for half the year unleash a flurry of miners on their online site and continue to pump out miners.  They now have all the preorder money, all the money from those through Hashnest, and all the money made by mining with the actual machines.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 12, 2017, 02:34:51 PM
Wow, they really aren't messing around with this batch.  I am used to prices going down in subsequent batches, but going up by over 30% is outrageous.

512  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex bot program for lending section [#### new Release 1.6 version ####] on: May 10, 2017, 07:01:36 PM
I am having trouble getting doge to be lent out.  I was successfully able to get it to show up on my main screen and it pulls in the correct balance, but it won't lend it out and there are no other errors that I can see.  Any reason why this would be?  I have over 5 doge in my account, so it is above the minimum.

Have you put in the config page for the line of doge in every field "Min.ord.am.t" (except the first if you don't want to lend under a certain %) the value 5 ?
Have you put a value above 5 in the "Max ord. amount" ?

Those are for sure the setting needed to permit to the program to work....

Cheers

I will try that when I get home today, thank you, if it is still having trouble I will post a screenshot with my config.

514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 200 amp main breaker tripping on: May 10, 2017, 12:32:26 AM
Are you running the rigs in the same area as the panel?  What is your ambient temperature?  The ambient room temp can have an effect on the circuits, causing them to get hotter and trip.

1 unit has been sold, there are 2 left for sale!

Please let me know if your interested and I can get a shipping quote set up.
516  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) 3 In Hand Bitmain L3+ 504 MH/s on: May 09, 2017, 03:42:16 PM
Could you tell me how loud these things are and how hot they run?  Are they like the S7/S9?

I am not sure how comparable they are to those, as I have not had either.  I can use my decibel meter when I get home to check but I do not know off the top of my head.  If you have heard an A4 before, they are a little quieter than that, but still pretty loud.  Was planning to run them at my parents, but had to remove them as they were too loud, while the S5's that were there had been fine.

Hello,

I have 3 Bitmain L3+'s I am offering for sale.  These units are in hand and hashing away.

Asking $3200 a piece for them plus shipping.  I also have 2 APW5 PSU's that can power 2 of these if you want them for $225 ea.

Guaranteed to ship within 24 hours of payment to me or to escrow.

Knock $50 off the price for each additional unit ordered.  So $3100 ea if you buy all 3.

From where?

Oops, shipping from Olathe KS 66062 USA

How do the pools setup work? why are there 3? does it switch?

https://i.imgur.com/S9e2qNG.png

What is the frequency?
https://i.imgur.com/EQWnoKu.png

You set the pools in the configuration tab, you can set up to 3 pools.  If your first pool goes down, the miner will automatically switch to the 2nd pool, if that pool goes down it switches to the 3rd pool.  Its just in case the poolside has a problem so you can still mine to another pool.

The frequency sets the chip frequency, which will change the hashing speed.  Not really a good idea to play with that unless you know what your doing.

Ugh, one of my APW5 PSU's gets burning hot to the touch within a few minutes of plugging it in.  I don't feel comfortable running a PSU like that, so one of my L3+'s is just sitting there, it is really hard to look at.  Unless I can get it running with a Lepa 1600 watt, will have to count how many 6 pin connectors it has.

Otherwise, first person to offer $3k for it gets it.

buy an apw3 from ebay

EDIT: you probably don't have 208/220v huh?

Nope, that is what I was originally going to do, but can't plug it in in the states.
