501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 11, 2017, 06:41:04 AM
There is much that some people didn't expect. Sudden jump of Bitcoin price was good thing to see, but I didn't expect it to happen just in few days. Now after news that SegWit2x is not happening, price droped even faster, and again I am not sure why. Did people bought Bitcoin just to get free Bitcoin Gold and now when that isn't happening, they are selling their Bitcoins. But correction of price was expected so I guess this is similar 😀 .
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: SW2x cancelation will crash Bitcoin on: November 10, 2017, 12:42:58 PM
SW2x was Bitcoins hope. Now that scaling bitcoin is once again out of sight for the foreseeable future,  we can expect prices to fall back to levels before there was any hope. People will look for scaleable alternatives again as they did before.
We can easily fall back to 2500-3000 levels within a week. 1000-1500 within a month is very likely.
No hope, no value.
You are wrong on so many levels, and it makes me sad to see that there are so dark people like you. We hear words of Doom day for Bitcoin coming all the time... but yet here we are, still dealing with Bitcoin and everything that goes with it. SW2x was not Bitcoins hope, it was something that some people supported and some didn't. And now people have decided that it will be best not to implement SegWit2x. Scaling of Bitcoins price was expected, but those numbers that you think we will see, are just impossible. As of people who don't believe in Bitcoin, well they are free to go, but soon they will see that leaving Bitcoin is bad idea. You should have more hope, and with that more value.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Tablet mining app, legit or not? on: November 09, 2017, 09:50:51 PM
I have heard that there are some apps that allow you to mine with your mobile or tablet, but I haven't seen or try any. Friend of mine have tried a mobile app, and from what he said it was legit. He was able to mine some small amount, but because it was too low amount he quited fast. I would suggest to you, don't waste your time and resources on that. It is just waste of time, or you can try it and see for your self.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin in a bubble right now? on: November 09, 2017, 07:59:51 PM
To be totally honest with you, yes I think we are in a bubble now. It is simple, there are more those who want to get rich by simply holding Bitcoins. That brings us to a point when there are more those who buy and hold Bitcoins, than those who spend their Bitcoins.  Why is that bad... well with just buying price is going up and up, and because almost no one spending their coins, day will come when Bitcoin will not be worth of that price and in that moment everything will go BOOM. I think you can predict what will happen after that...
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 09, 2017, 11:51:44 AM
Bitcoin will not end as there is high demand for it globally, its a dis-centralized system and everyone is accepting it on daily basis, altcoin can not make Bitcoin to go into extinction as it is a working system
Everything on this universe have beginning and the end, so does Bitcoin. Bitcoin is on demand this year, and hopefully it will continue to do so next. We all support Bitcoin and use it, some daily, some not so frequently, but what we all have in common is faith in long life of Bitcoin. One day will come when Bitcoin will die, and lets hope that day will not happen soon, but I also do not think that some altcoin will inherit it. Time will come when new world currency will be born, and that will be end of Bitcoin.
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2017, 08:23:56 PM
As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?
I do not think that he will fall in the price ... I think the minimum risks are not worth bothering about it and worrying .. I think you still do not pozheleesh if once it was purchased ..
according to my personal experience from last some years there is no risk in bitcoin holding because the rate of bitcoin is most probably increasing and in future it is more expected that price of bitcoin will increased more and more in future.
So far price of Bitcoin has always gone up, and on that you and I both agree. Also I too agree that it is expected for price of Bitcoin to go even more up. But we must not forget the dark side of all this, and that there is small chance that holding Bitcoins could go south. No matter how small chance is, chance is a chance. So I guess that there is risk in holding Bitcoins, who knows what will future bring. If everything gone good up till now, it doesn't mean it will continue to do so. Just think about that...
507  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think about bitcoin price in 2018? on: November 08, 2017, 04:58:07 PM
This year was definately best year for Bitcoins and its price. Will we see some year repeating something like this, I don't think so. In next year we can expect rise in Bitcoins price, but not like in this year. I guess that price in January could be in price range of 8000-9500$ . But there are small possibility that next year or some after that will be even better than this one.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: November 08, 2017, 12:52:02 PM
Is it better to get BTC via mining or buying now?

It was no longer profitable early this year for mining. However, with the recent price surge, does mining becomes profitable now?

If yes, any suggestion? There are quite many cloud miner in the market.

Thanks.
I would always recommend buying Bitcoins. Mining this days are just too dificult, it doesn't pay off unless you have really expencive mining rig, and even that electricity bill could be higher than your mining rate. Price went you in last few days and that is good, also that is one more thing that shows that buying is good option. As far as cloud mining is concerned, I have tried it and I learned that it wasn't for me.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Considerations before buying BTC on: November 07, 2017, 09:23:39 PM
When dealing with any kind of cryptocurrency, there are few things that you need to have in mind before buying. But I think that Bitcoin is most stable one, so there is nothing much to worry about it. Fist when I think of buying crypto I want to be sure that it will last long enough, but in crypto world that is sometime hard to tell. Second thing that is important is opinion of other people. And last but not least is rate of price rising and falling. Of course there are few more things, but I think this is the most important ones. When dealing with Bitcoin people should not have fear of Bitcoin not lasting, because Bitcoin will last long time.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we not change the name of the original Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2017, 07:56:44 AM
You are right to be concerned about those things. But to be honest name Bitcoin is just fine. All people who want to join world of Bitcoin should learn basic things about it, and that mean Bitcoins name. Only those who do not care enough will make a mistake, and maybe they should. I am not concerned about those names, because they will never be able to compeat with Bitcoin and therefor will be nothing more than a try to copy real Bitcoin.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: November 06, 2017, 09:21:16 PM
I am using Blockchain wallet, and I must say that I am more than happy with it. So far I have never had any kind of problem, and I intend to stay with it. I have heard that offline wallet is safest wallet person can have, and I have been thinking to transfer my Bitcoins on it. But I have decided not to, because it is not worth it. I do not have big sum of Bitcoins, so Ill stick to the Blockchain wallet.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 06, 2017, 05:40:07 PM
to face out all fiat money on one country is not necessary, how about those anyone or anybody that who cant afford to buy gadgets and provide a internet connection, how do they live. i mean how do they make transaction on the physical market to buy or sell goods just to live? this idea is non sense. fiat money is important too and i think more country not to follow if that happens.

I agree to your statement, Not everyone is capable of earning bitcoins consistently and they will change it immediately. The countries economy will obviously crash so its better to stay in fiat and live a normal life. You can still earn more profit in bitcoins without changing the countries currency.
I agree with you guys, there are more than a few problems about Bitcoin that needs to be solved first, if we think to use Bitcoin for day to day things. Most people look on Bitcoin just because it provides them with easy income, and they say they support Bitcoin. But they do not know basic things about it, they do not think about people that do not have technology to use it. So Fiat currencies will stay in our life for at least 10+ years.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the biggest wealth distribution system ever? on: November 06, 2017, 09:02:58 AM
The guy in this article says "yes!" - https://news.bitcoin.com/76420-2/

I say "NO!"

Bitcoin has created a ton of wealth, perhaps the biggest wealth CREATION system in this decade. But it hasn't distributed wealth. It has enabled the rich and poor in the fiat system to get wealthy alike, correlated to the investment or energy they've devoted to bitcoin. What it hasn't done is shifted wealth from the wealthy in the fiat system to the poor (or anyone) in the crypto currency system.

I'm firm in my beliefs on this but would be eager to hear others opinions. I think there's a lot we could discuss.
It depends from the point of view. Bitcoin has provided all people who use it a way to earn some money. Some have made more money, some less, but they all could tap into that way of earning money. For some people 1000$ is wealth, for other much more. But from my point of view, Bitcoin have brought wealth to some people. At least that is what I think.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: November 05, 2017, 10:34:13 PM
Actualy it is simple, people hold their Bitcoins to get profit from fluctuation of price. We all know that price of Bitcoin has been going up for quite some time now. It payed of to people who saved their Bitcoins from before this year. But I guess that holding and earning money won't be possible forever. One day price will be steady, and in that moment Bitcoin will trully become currency and not investment.
515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin can never go past $7000 on: November 05, 2017, 05:29:56 PM
You are partially right, there will be a correction of price soon. But I don't agree that price can't go more than 7000$. Today price of Bitcoin was areound 7400$ , and after fork and SegWit2x it will go even more up. Who can say with certainty how much 1 Bitcoin is worth?  As long as people are buying, price will go up. How much? Only time will tell.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 05, 2017, 02:22:30 PM
Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
In most cases when we talk about holding Bitcoins, greed is not the case. If we don't need money in this moment, than holding is best option. Holding to point when you need money is right thing to do, but I can agree that there is possibility that it could backfire. Small possibility, because it would mean that price of Bitcoin is going low, and fast. Also it would be alright to hold unto some point that you have set, when you would sell your Bitcoins. Most of people today buy Bitcoin out of its perspective, but we can say greed too.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 05, 2017, 12:29:17 PM
I think they have already seen the potential of bitcoin. Some of them have already invested, but they will not show it. They are just gaining more money by investing in bitcoin.

They can just invest, because the money they give for a investment is nothing for them actually.
We can not say how much they can invest or are investing, it could be really big number. We all know that if you invest more, you will gain more. So I guess that you are right when you say that there are billionaires in Bitcoin world. I mean why would not they be part of it, they want to make more money, and Bitcoin is easy way for just that. And of course they will not say that they are into Bitcoin, any smart person stay silent when they are making big money.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: November 05, 2017, 10:25:59 AM
Do not think of losing already because it will give you negative outlook. Think positive, who knows maybe tomorrow it will rise again and back in line. As long as it is still there think of the posive posibility than negative.
Being optimistic is in most cases good thing, because we can say that your life will be like your thoughts. We must think positive because that gives us strength to move forward. But also, sometime it pays of to know how to look on things from opposite side. If you can think the worst case scenario, and that is acceptable to you, than it can only be better. Also that way you know everything that can happen, and you will not feel bad that much at the end.
519  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10.000 = 1BTC on New Year? on: November 04, 2017, 06:02:07 PM
To be honest I really don't know what to think any more. With price jumping like it happened few days ago, I am not sure what to expect. I expected there would be lowering of price of Bitcoin, because of SegWit2x and fork but that is yet to come, and who knows what will happen. It is expected that price rise after this events, and I believe it will. So it is not impossible that we will see price around 10000$ till the end of this year or after. New year might bring some nice surprises. But there was talk of correction of Bitcoin price, and that worries me a bit.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this SUDDEN price rise good for BTC? on: November 03, 2017, 07:28:13 PM
Well I agree that in some aspects this much fluctuation in price is bad. But I'm a holder like you, and I also like when price is going up. There are a lot of people entering Bitcoin world, and they would all like to get rich over night. That buying is what makes price go up over night. I think that is bad for most of things, but it will settle down... it has too. It can not go up like this all the time. Also i heard about correction of Bitcoins price, not sure what and how its going to happen, but it could help for things that you are talking about.
