5141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friends of Satoshi on: December 01, 2019, 05:54:43 PM
The think of the mystery is everyone just keeps focusing on Satoshi and who that might be.
No one is really searching for people who may have known that person or persons.

There are several people out there. Who do know who Satoshi is and did talk to him at least. Why are we not focusing on those people? the friends?
Can you name at least one person who personally talked to Satoshi? As far as i know he never talk to someone in person (correct me if i'm wrong) his only communication with them is through chat and this forum when releasing the bitcoin white paper. Satoshi may not be a single person, it might be a group or team.
Wei dai himself claimed that Satoshi Nakamoto contacted him for his B-money (distributed electronic cash system) proposal which was referenced by Satoshi Nakamoto. There are rumors that Wei Dai is Satoshi Nakamoto, he could've just made these things up,  but there are still holes to fill in. If I were Satoshi I will really try my best not to exploit my identity or atleast my closest and trustworthy friends knows about me. But there are still no solid proof who he really is, Hal finney might be the closest to Satoshi since he received the first bitcoin ever or maybe he is Satoshi. One thing is confirmed, bitcoin started the revolutionary system.
5142  Economy / Economics / Re: New law enables german banks to sell and store cryptocurrencies in 2020 on: December 01, 2019, 02:52:13 PM
I really disagree with the commercial banks participating in this market. because transactions between wallets are out of control.
I can't clearly understand, What do you mean by this?

Neither the central bank nor can it do that to commercial banks
If they can sell gold, stocks and insurances then why not cryptocurrency? Cryptocurrency is an emerging economic class these couple of years and seen a significant growth through time so why not?

If the banks are dishonest they will soon launder money in many ways and evade taxes. In my opinion this is one of the wrong decisions of the German government. What do you think ?
Banks will be having a license prior to digital asset servicing there is no need to talk about the taxes and money laundering since they are highly regulated. I respect your opinion but where did you based it?
Having this kind of adoption makes the Germany ahead of the game to any other countries, Even Bobby Ong is positive about it saying it will open a lot of opportunities to both its citizen and finanicial institution.

5144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 ways to recover your stolen or lost crypto on: November 30, 2019, 07:51:47 PM
Once it is stolen or lost it is highly impossible to recover. Once gone is gone for ever and ever. Even i personally experienced bad with these ones its lost you can't get back.
As said above prevention is better than cure. Take neccessary action before its too late, no use of breaking head once it's lost or stolen.

Store your private keys safely
Be wise. Should be very careful.

It is irreversible process actually, that is why there is a confirmation from the sender before any transaction, so basically what you need to do is to check all the information encoded to successfully transact. But OP should have cleared on what he is pointing to, I lost my mind for a bit reading the whole post, if it is stolen or lost. There is a complete chance for you not to get back what you have lost from being careless or hacked that is he primary con of cryptocurrency. I highly recommend to double check, better if triple check of the information especially on addresses since it is too long alphanumeric characters.

Just to add up, there is no such thing as reclaiming of crypto.
5145  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♦️♣️Natural8.com♦️♣️| Asia's Leading Poker Platform | Short Deck | Rush & Cash | on: November 30, 2019, 06:57:12 PM
I have a question, why paypal is not on the list of deposit and withdrawal options?
https://www.natural8.com/deposit
Maybe there are some restriction on Paypal side?
I love to see more  deposit and withdrawal methods to the platform, glad to see that there are already more than 20 cryprocurrencies that accepted in Natural8.com, hoping more cryprocurrency and any payment method will be listed.
Paypal was not a good option for the payment.
I barely use paypal to deposit and withdraw. I have nothing against with it, but if we have bitcoin at first it would be much easier coz it instantly process the transaction, although paypal is safe and secure too especially when it is linked to a bank.

A user can dispute the transaction, that's why PayPal was not a good option for the payment system. I think a cryptocurrency already enough for the deposit/withdrawl system since "Natural8" already accepted more than 20 cryptocurrencies.
I don't see anything negative with using paypal for payment settlement with gambling. As a matter of fact it offers a two layer security when it is linked. But then again, if the site is accepting cryptocurrency that would be much more easier for the players. Good thing for Natural8, and accepting 20 cryptoccurencies is great giving more option their players.
5146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption of crypto on: November 30, 2019, 05:56:04 PM

The issue with this world currency is your wallet will be connected to you.  We will talk of the good ole days when you could head over to MEW and get 400 wallet address when ever you wanted.  These wallets will be controlled and your identity will be attached.  This is why KYC is dangerous and setting a horrible president.  All other forms of transaction will be made illegal.  Once this is in place the new power structure will be able to see every transaction and analyse it.  Your taxes can in effect be done for you at this point and there will be no hiding.  It will be the perfect tax trap.  Children can be taxed on gifts.  This can and will get extreme.

And this is the most scary part of your analysis.  Cry.
Most Exchanges now requires KYC for some certain amount of transaction and one day, they will turn all our data to the government and crypto will become centralised. Even a decentralised exchange called IDEX implemented that which shows that this space is starting to require ID verification for most things that we do.

What are going to be scared of? We need not to be worry all about if we're doing legit intentions with their exchange site. KYC just taking our legitimate identity as proof of existence. This prevents any possible scammers to come and trade with us, and become their potential victim. If this will bring good results for everybody
I don't know why there are some people who is afraid of KYC-procedures in exchanges, when there is totally nothing to be frightened of showing proofs of your identity if you have nothing to hide.Maybe they are one of those scammers? organized group?

I think mass adoptions will follow because it increases demand and interest from new comers who desires to use crypto for their daily trading.
Increase in demand and to catch the interest of people is the main reason why there is a mass adoption. I'm not sure about this but I started seeing discussion about mass adoption after the bitcoin hits, did it really trigger of taking over? or it just did because of the price ?Nonetheless, I'm satisfied with what is happening right now, people starts to appreciate the use of crypto, banks are considering of adopting blockchain, so far so good for making it known.
5147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: November 30, 2019, 11:34:51 AM
So Everybody like to talk about winning and profits.... But traders honestly how much You are losing?  Daily weekly Monthly?

Im sure the Beginners lose coz of FOMO.

You're absolutely right. We've definitely fostered a culture in this community where we only talk about our wins. It would be interesting to see more people talking about their losses. Also give us a chance to learn from each other.

This forum should have a special section about trading losses and people will post their loss and they will tell the specific steps why they are losing, i'm sure it will be a great topics because we can learn from each other
Well this section is already about trading discussion and does not need any sub-section for trading losses, If that will be the case we should also add sub-section for trading winnings?
Trading discussion board is open for any trading-related materials, losses, winnings, trading strategies and news/announcements regarding trading. What we need to do is to start more specific discussion, a particular matter that would directly benefit you for trading and people should be open with theirs in return.
5148  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / ASKING FOR MODERATOR on: November 30, 2019, 07:29:35 AM
TRANSLATION LAMANG ITO NG ORIHINAL NA POST NI LOYCEV: LINK PARA SA ORIHINAL NA POST

Pagkatapos i-click, nasa Trust summary.Basahin nang Mabuti ang description per Type:
      New feedback loading...

Maaari itong maging good feedback, halimbawa kapag may nakatulong sa iyo.

Be the bigger man!
“With great power comes great responsibility” (source unknown).

      Trust summary for TrustTestUser loading...

Do's and Don'ts

Once you have a custom Trust list, you'll see different Trust scores than users without a custom Trust list. You can always add ;dt to any URL to view the forum as if you didn't set a custom Trust list (see this example).

Public record

Do's and Don'ts
Halimbawa:
    Quote
    hilariousandco Trusts these users' judgement:
    7. hilariousetc (Trust: +3 / =1 / -0) (1725 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

Ang anumang binigay mong feedback, ay palaging naka show as Trusted sayo.

5150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: November 29, 2019, 07:29:08 PM
maybe because of bitcoin price still same, not going anywhere, some project cant show their advantage, many people just hope for the price. the other wait for increasing it value. so when the price is rise, they will show up and hope it will pull up their project.
I do consider it too. Legitimate projects back then were sure of where bitcoin is going to, and voila, they are right so funding is easy as abc from willing big pocketed investors way back then. But after that all time high, it is noticeable already that projects got dull. There are tons of project but the funding becomes problematic. it is always in short, most were not able to reach a soft capitalization, and is being left by the only option which is to stop operating. I remember the days where bounty hunting is worth the waiting time, and the prize is unexpectedly a lot. Next year looks to be exciting as I read great news these past few months regarding massive adoption.

Hi @OP today's date is 29th and the website still displays Coming Soon message. Have you guys finalized the date yet for the launch, I wanted to register on the website. Please update the info board with a tentative date for opening.

if you are interested in downloading their game you should follow their discord group since the game client link is posted there.
I thought it is just a website game like the others, little did I know that I need to download it first to try the game. Have you played the game? is it worth to download?

No, I haven't downloaded the game since my schedule is quite packed and I can't make enough time to try something out.

the game isn't really a gambling game since it is not focused on gambling but more like a faucet but instead of just claiming the satoshi you have to kill monsters or doing PvP to earn satoshi.
Definitely not a gambling platform since it is offering a free bitcoins for playing and finishing the in-game quests. I must say you did a great job on promoting this one by adding a faucet which typically would love by the players (including me lol) But the game was not that clearly explained.Keeping my head here for the update.

I do not promote or in any way connected to the OP or the website I just said my opinion about the game and what the game feels like with how the OP explained it. but I agree that it wasn't explained properly
that is why I said in my previous post if you want to be updated you should follow their discord group. again I am not in any way connected to the OP or promoting their website or game.

I know you are not connected to the OP. It is obvious and sorry for that, I didn't mean it was you promoting. I'm actually referring to the OP. That is a mistake at my end, I could've be more specific on writing.

Is it necessary to follow their discord channel to catch up with the game updates? Are not they going to also update this thread? Coz I am not that familar with discord. Aside from that, many will get interested if this thread is up to date with the project development.

5153  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: November 29, 2019, 05:09:11 PM
it is true that there have been many crimes involving crypto, criminal acts and terrorism. I think this system must be fixed so that investors continue to believe.

And what is wrong with the system? I don't think there is something wrong or something that needed to be fixed in this system. I don't think the system is the problem, it is the people. Crypto currencies are obviously decentralized, these criminals are "terrorists" are just taking advantage of that, what do you want to be fixed? make it centralized? The problem is the security of these exchanges, not the system.
What made the involvement of cryptocurrency with crimes is that, the anonymity attained from using cryptocurrency secures the disclosure of one's information to its system only. You might ask "What information?" not personal infos, only the time, date and amount that is why it is commonly used to pay for international crimes like smuggling of goods obviously to avoid being caught by the authority. There is nothing for us to do with it since the system was born decentralized. But a middle-man (exchanges) can interfere someone elses action under their hand, they have the right to freeze and investigate when something unusual happen especially when talking about long numbers.

I feel that the website is quite thorough and that a lot of work went into making it. The idea of websites' hosting is great and I think many people would consider its use, do you think this may be something you'd later introduce a surge charge for, if atm is free, as a way to keep the project going?

Also, are there affiliations to some of the games you listed on there, or can anybody pitch in? Thanks, and great work btw

I have to be totally honest to you, What my impression on your gambling forum is that no one actually talks about gambling that often, I noticed that there is a low number of forum participants.
A post a month ago has no reply, threads are actually empty at all. I do not intend to discourage you with my comments, all you need to do is to attract potential participants for your forum who is related on gambling. About the website, I fairly like the layout it looks like the cryptotalk forum if you have seen it but the thick margin is annoying.

Same with me, mate! I am getting closer on being a Legendary member  Cheesy Cheesy

After the merit system is introduced. I thought it will be impossible for me to get into the final rank because it takes 500 more merits to be a legendary member. I thought I will be stuck forever as a Hero Member. After that I stopped and didn't get active here in the forum and come back after almost a year I think. And now, here I am! I am close to being a Legendary member! Thank's to all support I get from this forum, and I will do my best to become a valuable member  Cheesy

Big SCAM -> don't pay 0,2 BTC

And you post will be a big mouth only if you cant provide any proofs of your accusation.
This is not how to accuse a site as a scam, you need to provide valid proof(s). Otherwise, it is just a baseless accusation to make the site looks bad.
Frankly speaking, I have no experience with this site and I have no ideas whether this site is legit or not but I cant see any valid scam accusation against this site.
So kindly prove what you say if the site is real scam as it will help others to avoid them.
It is easy to accuse but is hard to prove.

No need to put an eye on baseless/out-of-nowhere accusation. It is clearly just for the site to look bad and to destroy its reputation. I've heard people calling on this site as a legitimate gambling platform and found zero valid claims as this site is scam. They have been sitting here for a while, that says that their business with players is legit.

If the accusation is true at first, he could've posted it on scam accusations board but he didn't. Kindly move on from this one.

I'm a bit late, did I miss something here?

Thanks for preserving our artworks, I appreciate your initiative on creating this art gallery, not just an art gallery but a 3D art gallery.
I'm overwhelmed seeing my artworks posted on the wall, It feeds my artistry side to become more motivated for our further anniversary event/contest. What a decade to celebrate commemorating this year's achievement. This is the best year so far as part of this forum.

Again, Thank you for this creation of yours, I'll treasure this man.
