5141  Economy / Economics / Re: $175 billion just printed and the Bitcoin price goes down! on: November 27, 2019, 03:19:06 PM
I am not from USA so I am not really as knowledgeable as the rest of you on this subject but considering USA says they are having "the best financial time" since Trump started his term, could we just assume they were basically postponing the bad parts of economy for later and screwing it now?

Obviously, it went down as we can see from the chart, what we are judging right now is the big uptick in the balance sheet but if you look at it since December of last year it has been going down steadily very well and now its going up once again. I don't know which one is better but we can say that whatever has happened has reversed back in the past two months for sure. I hope american economy goes better but not too much better because a strong dollar is good but strongest ever means our currencies devalues.

I am not from the USA either, but I think this is exactly what they are doing.
They are screwing up the economy, using printer money to run larger and larger deficit, buying less and less growth and using the wrong metrics (SPX, NAPM jobs reports) to describe the economy, while the "real" underlying economy is in way worst condition.
Dollar is holding because other major currencies (EUR and GBP primarily) have they own problems and they are printing money too.

This is not going to end well. I don't know excactly how and when. But I know bitcoin will be an hedge against it.

Would it be a negative towards USD? printing money out of thin air will just weaken the dollar especially on that amount. If feds did really printed those money, injected from the market by buying valuable assets like Bitcoin why did the price go down? putting billion could've significantly affect the price but what happened is opposite. I am very skeptical on what feds are doing now, It coincides with the growing market for BAKKT. I've heard that they supply banks money in a thing that we should know but they refused to, Wall street is borrowing money that seems they are not required to pay. Is this a sign of recession behind?
5142  Economy / Economics / Re: Is IBM is on path to bring blockchain to the masses? on: November 26, 2019, 07:50:15 PM
<…> Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be anything done with blockchain by IBM over the last 2 years. <…>
Not quite so really. IBM has been doing things (as have many other large Consultancy firms and corporations) over these past few years. For example, Nestlé and Carrefour (supermarket chain) recently announced that they are implementing traceability of infant milk using IBM Food Trust. (See: https://beincrypto.com/nestle-is-putting-baby-formula-on-the-blockchain).

IBM rolled out a basic blockchain based ledger system in 2017. That was back when many private sector companies like kodak and atari announced vague sounding blockchain proposals in an effort to boost their stock price. Since then, IBM hasn't done anything new or innovative with blockchain technology even though it is very easy to envision other roles under which blockchain can be utilized.

That was the last thing I heard from the IBM, their first version hyperledger fabric. Not until this year, Nestle announced their partnership with IBM in blockchain based food category, sad part is that it is still on pilot program for determining success however it shows good results. IBM could've enter in some blockchain application which is way near from their expertise that could lead to more innovative products. What happened to IBM?   Huh

Questions have been raised about voting machines since day 1. One obvious and potential future use of blockchains is being incorporated inside of a voting machine system, to ensure legitimacy of votes. And create something like a "paper trail". There are many other projects a large corporation like IBM could easily pursue if they were truly inclined to develop blockchain technology further. That's simply not something we've seen much of since 2017 when many US corporations were announcing vague blockchain proposals in efforts to artificially inflate their market value.
I don't know why there are no projects regarding this one, something's fishy on this side. IBM is extremely great technology company and has the power to conquer the technology world if they really want especially with the help of blockchain. Google already announced their latest ace and is yet to come, how about the IBM? what you guys think?
5143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Post! on: November 26, 2019, 06:31:11 PM
did I miss something here? Why is one more crypto forum announced here in gambling section? I have checked this forum, is not exclusively dedicated to gambling. Just another forum on the net including gambling but also ICO discussion.
Plus domain forum.blockz.network is a terrible choice. What is there domain from subject Cypto-Forum.net?
It is true that the main page has nothing to do with gambling. But if we look at the subforums they give a list of crypto gambling sites there.
About the terrible domain, they also plan to change that and change the name of the forum to Crypto-forum.net but when I visited the Crypto-forum.net page it was redirected to the previous domain. I don't know if they will continue using the old domain or will replace the new one.

Yes we are currently waiting for the hoster to prepare everything to transfer the new domain.

Atleast you admit that it was a terrible domain to have ( for me it looks like a scam site at first glance) that was a very humble of you. Try to look more related on gambling-forum website. Domain will be the first to see if people sees it somewhere. A nice and attracting domain can possibly hook people from your site imo.

Thanks everyone for their opinion and please give us the chance to show everyone how serious we are about the forum. Let time tell.
We get it, you are serious with your intention to bring a quality forum for gambling but having these paid post feature will surely bring you a bunch of spammers. They will definitely make as many account as they want just to make the most out of your payment means. Another thing is, I thought of this as specified forum for gambling why are there discussion for ICOs and Bounties? hmmm
5144  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cryptocurrencies at Financial Planning on: November 26, 2019, 05:08:52 PM

If mapupunta lang sa wala ang pinaghirapan mo at ang extra money mo, di ka makakaahon agad dapat needs vs wants.
For me insurance is a need po, I'm hoping na atleast every parents have life insurance.

Thanks for all the feedbacks,
If malaki laki naman ang bonus nyo better get insurance, the more na tumatanda kayo nagmamahal yung premium. Term is a good option dahil mura lang yun na kaya ibawas sa kita sa trading. Kaya wag ng panghinayangan pa.

Think of it...
Which one is better Having insurances and needing them? or need insurances and not having them?  Huh
5145  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Poker Game! Rock Solid Poker is in development :D on: November 26, 2019, 04:18:03 PM
Hello, just wanna greet you a warm welcome here in the Bitcoin gambling community. There's a lot of poker gambling sites recently launching it here and I think your project should have a great service that competes with them.

I highly admire the new websites, seems like they are really here to go get some potential players using their new features and games. I even see a 25% unlimited cashback (I barely remember which was it) that is so cool from the player's side. But I hope this project will not going to be a "sorry funds were not sufficient to continue" type of project.

If you're interested in partnering up, help building a community, or exchanging ideas, just reply or send a PM.
I think you need to move your topic here, Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Project Development. But it needs mainly accept bitcoin not just by altcoins. It is good if your platform supports multiple payment options of cryptocurrencies, not just only Bitcoin nor altcoins.

Bitcoin is the prime at the moment so maybe you guys should target it first and some highly most used alternative ones. I've seen some using waves as initial but i guess people will really look at it if you have what they already have to play. I must say that your web is plain unlike the others, but I don't see that as your cons since you are still on developing phase. All in all it is good, just continue the work, who knows that'll be the next LA  Cheesy

5147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt Bitcoin Futures Set New Daily Record Trading Over $20M on: November 26, 2019, 03:34:56 PM
This shows that the number of traders on the crypto market is increasing and they no longer want to invest in projects or alts, which has affected the prices of alts quite a lot in recent years.
but in fact this is very good news because the bitcoin futures contract will attract many more people in the future and the daily volume will grow even stronger in the future if the price of bitcoin fluctuates more strongly.
With many new trading tools like this our market will soon see a new bull run and a slow alts season.
the volume of $ 20M for BAAKT in my opinion is still small, even though BAAKT has a strong institutional network, but this is progress,
there is nothing instant in this world, except making noodles, I still believe BAAKT can be more than this, even though the time required is long,
It was not bad at all for Bakkt start up, actually it is impressive growth knowing it was just 2 months ago, just take a look at their graph. It will just look like small when you compare it to its existing competitor that have been in the market for so long. It is pretty natural after all, they started slow but smooth setting their ATH $20M volume and coincides the price is running according to plan. Bakkt is just starting their settlements and incoming integrations no need to be concious about it.

for alt season don't despair friends, it's coming soon  Grin Grin Grin
I'm just afraid if this day comes, and it would just be another bitcoin, I hope it ain't.

5149  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999 DICE SUPPORT TOPIC on: November 25, 2019, 07:51:43 PM
Why removing negative trust of a casino which isn't provable fair? Just let them fix their issues first.
There are some that claims 999dice is a scam site, and the other goes opposite of it, I'm really confuse right now. But after all, when that gambling platform has already reached the users here, you can't do anything about it, you can't blame the mods.

If you are really up to bringing the truth, provide sufficient evidence that support your claims.
5150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: November 25, 2019, 06:26:34 PM
Not exactly..... if whales earn through influencing the prices why not follow them? You can't possibly know what they can do next but you can react to it rapidly once it had happen. Some call it "ride the wave" others call it "follow the trend" but both says the same thing and that is following the current movement of what is happening in the price chart. You might not have the same profit or returns as what the whales have but the trend is your friend and that is how you can maximize the profit in your trades and you can't even go against it in the first place.
This is what I have to say at the back of my mind. Isn't it just us?  that is making this always big deal for them when they earn such massive amount? They gamble very hard so it's either they will win or lose very hard. These whales are rich and can afford to lose, when they lose, they double the risk until they win, there is infinite chances for them. Aside, whales are not that very influential to the traders, traders does influence the whales so they'll come up with traps in the market and they just have huge impact compared to us since they are holding bunch of money. Solution is pretty basic, just follow the trend.  If you can't lose them, join them.
5151  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesTokenCasino.com - Play with most common Waves tokens on: November 25, 2019, 05:37:21 PM
Waves is more going through vital development. I hope my site profits from it.

Any ideas about the planned referral system and FAQ?
Indeed i saw your site isn't available for FAQ page and as far i know FAQ usually common answers related to your site such as how to play the game, minimum amount to deposit or withdrawal or provably fair for your site so you can added it into your site and for referral system you can determine by yourself the commissions for affiliate system but more high the comissions then it might be will attract people to promote your site

There is now a "Support"-Button that links to this thread, so a FAQ is not needed right now. Provably fair feature is already there. And with the mandatory use of Waves Keeper, there are no deposits or withdrawals, it is all automated: You get back wins immediately. It is running on-chain.
Since you promote in this forum, FAQs section and support button wouldn't be a problem since we all know that, but have you think of what non-bitcointalk users, outside potential players could ask if ever ? You guys better have FAQs since the website is new, All website has this section to avoid repetitive questions especially on businesses like this. As for what I've seen, try having referral system that will surely boost your user growth but avoid making too easy to abuse. Pretty good in using waves, nicely done and unique.
5152  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is changing the personal asset management market on: November 25, 2019, 04:34:43 PM
Do not make banks the safest place on Earth for our assets because its not. Banks do get robbed by criminals and let us just not forget about they cyber ones too. Hackers hacked banks and got huge amounts many a times in the past. Future wont be any different. if we invest in bitcoin, then not only we will save our asset from all kind of robbers but also do beneficial investment simultaneously.

The banks or crypto needs more attention to avoid hackers. The difference we don't have to protect our account fully because that will be the job by the banks. But in the crypto, the responsibility will be in our hands so no matter what, we need to protect our account aka our wallet from the hackers, especially in the exchanges.
Either way we are not totally safe. System upgrades, and so the hackers do.  But in banks the money is always insured (or it depends in the bank) lost it then compensate it. This is what I want with banking they are absolutely taking care of your money and accountable in any circumstance. Unlike with personal management all the work to avoid any problem will come from you. That is why even we have crypto for digital and speculative investment now, I still use banks for its very purpose, to protect. Also the reputation of the bank is on top priority when choosing who's gonna take care of yours.

The exchange itself is like banks in real life which can be hacked too by the hackers. So if you cannot protect your wallet, then that will be dangerous for your asset.
These banks, these exchanges has ethical hackers or people that deliberately hacks their computer and website to find any hole that can be a potential problem. Once they found out any hole that can lead to data breaching or fraudelent acts, they will upgrade their system until their ethical hackers have nothing to see anymore.
5153  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com Creative Competition | .15 BTC in prizes! on: November 24, 2019, 07:28:55 AM
Roobet doing well, but on this case most likely you will not get much submission from bitcointalk. I know prize is good enough but there is lack of video creation skill. Although some good video editors here but likely they are not involved with gambling. That's the main issue, who will create video for you they should have enough knowledge about gambling.

You may create video even from marketplace lower than offered prize prices. You may use that on your own YouTube channel. Although Google doesn't allow gambling advertising but most likely they allow video promotion  Wink

By the way, best wishes for your platform.

I am a content creator and have a 500+ subscriber in youtube and I would love to participate in the contest. I will do my best to get the 1st prize  Grin

My plan is to do a promotional video parody,  Grin

I published some stats on the thread, base don yesterdays merit.txt file (the results are therefore not real time, and lack merits awarded later than 2019-11-22 02:48:34 UTC).Up until that moment, we had:

16594 merits awarded to the art thread.
906 merited posts.
465 meriters.
585 merited.

The complete relation can be seen here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qq_i3fpEECkVPoxfioSGTIl9U5eia8R3NqenNvRYzLo/edit#gid=0

As a curiosity:
- Two people have been merited on 11 posts each (@sirazimuth: 242 merits and sujonali1819: 165 merits).

- The thread merited by most people is @theymos’s OP (344 merits and 95 contributors), followed by Yatsan's (229 merits and 59 contributors).

- The largest meriter is (obviously) @theymos, who has merited 542 profiles in 698 posts (7794 merits), followed by @Halab (198 merited profiles – 239 posts - 356 merits).

So, the people's choice award goes to me? Hahaha  Cheesy
Btw, thank you guys for all of the support I receive.  Smiley

Alright, lets see what others think about your art.
Its pretty good honestly, just want to be fair with the others who are being tagged for collecting different photos and use it in one art, same as you did. Fair judgement should be serve.

"Collecting of different photo" that is what you called stealing and plagiarism. They didn't draw it they just steal it!

I make my own art I draw it from nothing, Don't compare me to those people.

After all explanation I give, you are still not listening. Lol

One member, which received more than 100 merit in the art contest topic, wrote that he took the "base image" from another website, but at the same time his nickname is specified on the picture.
I suppose, this can make a confusion that this user painted most of the image.

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Girl-with-a-Pearl-Earring-by-Vermeer

Put an effort on making a new art, but its not fair to use almost the same image with a different EARING! This is still a form of plagiarism for me.

HAHAHA, That is contemporary art sir, making a copy of original painting with different interpretation. 🙂 same with starry night of van gogh a lot of different version from other artist. It's started from scratch and painted from nothing. That's not plagiarism, if for you that is plagiarism okay, but with regards to the rule of art it is not. Thankyou again. And please study art first before accusing someone like that. Thankyou.
The guy above use the image with different interpretation, yet received a negative trut simply because its plagiarism same as you did, now tell me the difference?
You didn’t even acknowledge the original art. Well, its all up to them whether to accept this art or not.

Its jus edited man, not manually draw! art plagiarism is when you trace or just edited the art or just steal it like that.

Girl with a pearl earring is a famous painting and many are making a piece of contemporary art from it. I am educating you about art plagiarism and you are not listening, that's your problem.
