For OP, is english language is your native language? If yes, you will never realize how it becomes a barrier for a noob to learn the deepest or even fundamentals of cryptocurrency specially when you english is not your primary language.

Why there are content created again in local board? Simply, to help some newbies who cannot understand english language. I know all of us here started from a scratch and having a local board helps us to grasp everything in cryptocurrency. That is why there are posts in local boards that given a merit/s.

Now, you will say that it is a merit abuse? I believe it is not. Why? Because posters who are giving effort just to help and share learnings in this forum MUST be merited wherever he post it.

Why do you want to stop giving merit in local boards? Are you sure that if a topic is in local board, it is useless? There are some people who can express more their suggestions throught their language.

All of those post are made by my countrymen in local board. Thay made my confusions gone and make things easier to understand. So tell me, is it good to have merits spread in local board? Yes, because my fellow countrymen and even I became more quality posters and contributor of the forum.

Maybe this will make things for the side of moderators and hunters of merit abuser. Imagine, if a user will make 5-10 newbies per week and give some merits to the main account every time there is a smerit collected in faucet. It will become easy for them to manipulate the system.

OP`s suggestion is helpful for the side of users who are dedicated in giving merits to the useful post but on the other hand, it may be a problem to those who are looking for the order of this forum.

If ever this suggestion may push, I suggest to have a limit for merit earners. Just like:

Newbie - will never get any smerit
Jr member - 0.1 smerit
Member - 0.5 smerit

something like that.

But for me, current condition of the merit system is the best right now. No need for modifications, if you want smerits then do not depends in faucet rather make also quality post.

Believe me or not but there are only small percent of gamblers that are interested in chess than other physical sports. I think also that Lebron James is popular than Garry Kasparov.

It is really hard to return back the money that lost during 2011 and 2013. Probably, those who scammed had forget it already. Besides Craig Wright can`t paid that amount even the allegations to him is strong. I just can`t believe that the money scammed ranges in 450M usd. I did not yet join the cryptocurrency that time but AFAIK, it still the huge amount that had been scammed in crypto until now.

Actually, this is the reason why COVID-19 scattered. The improper discipline of other people. Yes, there are some who take serious the pandemic and others really want to stay at home rather than to gamble outside. But there are still people who have hard headed mind. So, we can't really prevent them. The only thing that we can make is to avoid exposure of ourselves. I rather not to play if I will risk my health and family.

Couple of months is not enough. I think you should say is that, you gamble when the vaccine released or the covid-19 outbreak will cease.
