I'm in the long term and I also invest in other coins, I will agree that you need to have diversity in cryptos and should have more than one coin invested. This is the same idea in the stock market also with shareholdings. |

I have stopped mining this piece of shit crapcoin. I hadn't had a payout for DAYS with 10.43 TB of disk space pimping away, I was tired of the piece of crap Java miner hogging 9 GB of ram for two instances of mining, I'm tired of the developers' half-assed miner and having to do half the programming work just to compile and run the damn thing.
My 4 3TB Seagate Barracuda hard drives are on ebay right now for a VERY fair $340 and free shipping in the USA.
Furthermore, I predict that this crapcoin will never see 500 satoshis again. Anyone who tries to talk it up by saying things like "to da mooooooon", is a fool, an idiot, and a moron.
So screw this crapcoin and everything about it.
Basically whe you say screw everything about this coin you are telling us all to f*ck off... Thats not very nice of you. This dude it funny, it's like 99% of the time complaining and insulting the coin. I hope he doesn't treat his customers this way either. I got 3x 3TB used for $120 on CL and they are still running fine. I average 2 to 3 blocks a day with 25TB solo mining. This isn't a crap coin, go look at CNL, that's an example of a crap coin. If certain people don't like this coin, then get out of this thread and go make your own dam coin then. |

Could someone please point me to the code in the published pool miner which allows the pool owner to submit a reward-assigned block to the local wallet?
Id/nonce/passphrase is submitted the wallet with submitNonce. submitNonce takes 2 or 3 parameters: secretPhrase, nonce, acctountId If solo mining, secretPhrase and nonce are sufficient. If pool mining, the pool's secretPhrase is submitted, and the miner(who is reward assigned to the pool)'s accountIt is sent along. The wallet returns json with 1 or 2 fields: result is a string. if result is "success", deadline is also present The wallet will store work submitted to it, and automatically create a block when one of the deadlines it has reach 0. I have a couple questions: How do we know what deadline time we have when we find a block solo mining? I guess what I mean is, where can we find details on each block found with the deadline time? |

As long as the AMD has AVX/AVX2, it should do very well with the optimized cpu plotter. Very impressive that it does gpu plotting speed on certain cpus.

I just updated the spreadseet with my recent changes, and put in a freeze header and colums to make it easier to navigate. I did a similar sheet, concentrating on plot generation speed, cpu and cores etc. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XxyQ1eH2oL4QKfxHkSFHHCGOGaE1FEPDnBt2WbA_oE4/edit?usp=sharingbtw. got a block this morning at 39s, that was a fast one, now i have 3 since i started solo mining. 6,8TB plotted now. 5*4TB USB3 disks on its way from the retailer, that ought to increase my blocks/week. I should have freeze the row with the usernames, forgot about that and thanks for doing it. I never got a block with a time lower than 101s. Burst will likely fall to 50 satoshi by Saturday and then 0 sat by the end of next week. Cut your loss now before its too late

You are so right in all what you write here. I was very close to just selling ALL my burst and buy some more harddisks.. but then i decided just to buy some more harddisks. This is the most expensive coin ever i mined - i mean - 20TB doesn't come cheap, and the CPU power cost from plotting is staggering. Before You know it, you are trading with other burst users directly from your wallet and that is where the world comes apart for good ;-) Everyone please sell and scare the weak miners away due to no apparent profitabillity, so i can get some more blocks before it gets too difficult. Pool or solo ? I have 25TB, I find between 2 to 3 blocks a day on average solo mining. what your stagger optimization? I didn't run the optimization yet, since I have two incomplete plots and my plots are larger than 4TB. I split one with 5.5TB, because the PC rebooted when the miner crashed and had to make the second part starting at a new start point. And the other I split 8TB and 6.5TB, same issue and solution. I get a few errors with the incomplete plots, but still finding blocks ok. Maybe down the line, I'll redo the incomplete plots and do the optimization afterwards. |

It's worth remembering some of the EPIC crashes BTC/USD has gone through, too.  I've been through a couple and I'm still here...lol It's no different than the Stock Market, downtrends and up trends happens constantly. Just like cryptos, people spread the same type of Fud in the Stock Market too. |
