With all due respect it's not really in a beta state, it's a fully functioning app that won't really be changed apart from the actual Gems being implemented. Of course that's important but with an already base of investors you would think they would of invited people and even they would of invited other people by now. Maybe some are holding back invite friends until the airdrop or Gems is available? I'm still worried after watching NXTTY just stall at 1,000-5,000 downloads. This app really needs to be a viral instant fire catching phenonomen or it kind of dies of the vine pretty quickly. I honestly expected to be at least 1,000-5,000 by now.

I'm wondering why the review counter on Google Play went rapidly up to 62 reviews and hasnt moved for at least the last two days I've looked.

If you look a very rough theory I have is that reviews are nearly always 1/10 of downloads. Check the theory out it almost always is true. This makes we wonder if downloads have stalled at such a low level??? Did I just invest in the new NXTTY? 

The idea of scalable is the key. You could start with say Silver and only have 100 ounces, only sell 100 coins, as you make a profit buy more silver and issue for coins/token for the silver. You might have to label the different batches ie Silver batch 1, 2, 3, 4 etc Cheap assets making gives for that with Qora.

If im not misunderstanding Qora could be the backbone of a completely new financial system. A new Digital comex of metal traders even a digital forex market based on actual currencies? Someone really needs to develop a proper Gold back cypto that can scale as they grow vaulted inventory.

Is there a way to see numbers of running apps/accounts apart from guessing through the App store/Google play/direct downloads?

This is my concern also, ive seen this happen to much with new IPO's. What I fear is the negative backlash that comes with this. Though I see it personally as an opportunity to load up more. Don't make me say I told you so.

Look the bottom line is this is a great product with great potential but none of that will mean shit including the advertising system if we don't get downloads. My main concern and it is valid is that the committed crypto world is very small maybe 5,000 tops. Once these guys have downloaded the app and sent to friends and family we are on your own in terms of pick up rate. Like I said NXTTY will all the backing of the NXT community didnt get past 5,000 downloads. That shows us this is a large mountain to climb.

I tried to get some friends to download the app the other day and mainly I got was oh I'll do it later and that they didn't think they would even use it. Lets be positive but lets also keep our feet on the ground. And if we get past even 50,000 downloads I'll be the first jumping up and down.  

Well lets say for argument all the token are sold and if we include all the 100m coins then 10,000 means the marketcap is 10,000 BTC straight of the bat. Its not exactly peanuts for an app we can't be sure will succeed.


Yes I know NXTTY is an unfair comparison but its currently trading at 2,000 BTC, they also thought they were going to get thousands of downloads. So far they didnt get past 5,000. Altcoins is a small world lets not get carried away.

Its hard to say, if we don't get a lot of downloads in the coming weeks and months the price could drop quite a bit as its already priced as a top 20 coin. But also of course it could rise a lot if we get 1m downloads etc. I wish i could buy more at 15,000 but 10,000 carries too much risk, ill wait for the exchanges.

What is the latest on when and where we can trade?

Gems is awesome but I think buying at 10,000 coins per BTC should come with a health warning for newcomers. I mean that's almost double the initial price and set GEMS up as already a decently priced coin. Long term good, short term I would hazard a guess they would get burned on the the exchanges  as some pure trader types dump what they bought cheap early in the sale and then ypu would start to hear bitterness from them.



Getting back to the actual coin, I am mourning the loss of the simple name Gems and the simple previous logo.

I wouldn't completely discount Litecoin for two reasons, one it's heavily involved in trading on many exchanges for other coins and also in the minds of the 'mainstream' it's got this silver to Bitcoins Gold thing, it's nonsense but if people believe it enough it becomes true. So any surge in BTC In the mainstream could lift Litecoin too.
