Even though I think that the design of the app is excellent right now, it seems like it is mostly focused on females.
Now although this definitely isn't a bad thing, I believe that it would be great to have an option to change the theme in the app (even just being able to change the pink colour from the app to black should suffice). This is extremely important as I am sure that many males might be put off by the colour currently in use. Do you already have such a feature to change the theme/colour or would it be possible to implement it in the near future?

imo adding different colour schemes for a messenger makes it cheap looking, another theme right now would question their idea of being more female oriented. Other popular messengers don't have this option aswell. One of the things apart from its features that made Gems stand out is the current theme.

I don't think it's that big of a deal to put a variety of custom themes into the app as Telegram X or this GitHub project shows.

While I get some guys not wanting the color scheme I am betting most who hate it are North American or Russian Grrrrh. cause the color scheme is not that feminine to Europeans who sometimes wear pink and also Asians who can't stop wearing it. So if you look at many asians chat apps they are all a bit childish/femine/ cute looking. I think the color scheme for now needs to stay how it is and also should not jump to have options. Pink gives it a bit of a difference factor and also will help sell the crypto for women thing. But the main reason I think we shouldn't change the color to have options is I find having options never gives a strong identiy to a product. It's like Google home page etc when you can change it to anything you want it stops being an identifiable brand. Sticking with one color is really important in my opinion. Everyone knows FB's Blue, Kakoa talks Yellow, Lines Green, Skypes Blue etc etc.


So I say stick with one whatever you do. You can look at toning the color down a notch maybe but having multiple colors when you are trying to devlop brand awareness is silly.

I have my fingers crossed this whole thing goes off without a major hitch.  I feel like there is silently a lot of people watching how this crowd sales goes both for Koinify and Gems.  I hope it doesn't start with a release delay, that would really shake confidence.   The recent tweet to Telegram "telegram when will iOS source be updated? only supports API layer 8 (out of 18) / was not updated for iOS 7 and not for 64 bit #getgemsorg" and the lack of any sort of app release instructions has me worried.    As one a post above stated it's already the 30th  for them, maybe some guidelines to how the app will be released would help everyone.  It's a great idea, keep up the good work.
