521  Economy / Reputation / Re: HELP! [Investigation - Alts] "Text" & "OnlineMoney" Twitter campaign abusers.... on: March 28, 2023, 12:13:45 PM
Jesus Christ! How come that?

Regarding the screenshot Part 2.
The twitter account https://twitter.com/Bitcoin_Friend ... is mine

I can guarantee that 1) it is my twitter handle and 2) I have nothing to do with this guy

edit:
OK, it was a campaign I participated in (my post here)
The guy litterally cheated @iluvbitcoins by posting something he doesn't own. (Not the first time someone use my twitter account to cheat a campaign manager)

Yeah, I might abuse some of the bounty campaigns before, maybe I just did that cause of a lack of knowledge, I am not fully aware of how to work on this forum. But yeah, I am not reasoning this just to have pity on me.
It's still up to you guys how to judge me, but I am telling my story now.

You cheated the person running the campaign
You claimed to be me.

I don't give a fuck to your lack of knowledge. If you have a brain, you know it's not right
522  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2023 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: March 27, 2023, 09:04:23 PM
By the way, who do some of the TOR links in the start post point to v2 TOR addresses? They are not supported by the TOR network anymore, unfortunately. Even if you prevented you local tor package from updating, the middle tor noe operators typically didn't do so, so v2 TOR addresses are more or less unreachable now.

Because the websites concerned have never switched to v3, so I can't update with the new links. (If you noticed, the sites in question are white labels powered by the same group).

I left the links to v2 because it doesn't damage to let them and for reference if I needed later. When we went from v2 to v3, I updated as the mixers made the switch, but some never did. The question is why? My theory is that they just dropped it with Tor because no one was using them and they preferred to stay on the clearnet only.
523  Other / Meta / Re: how to add image on topic on bitcointalk on: March 27, 2023, 08:16:47 PM
You say you've searched a lot. Yet, the result is on the top if you use the "Search" feature
https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=016660200577587308545%3Aesf40ml9aag&ie=UTF-8&q=how+to+add+image&sa=Google+search#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=how%20to%20add%20image&gsc.page=1

And there are multiple topics answering your question. Sorry but you haven't searched a lot and perhaps not at all.

And to add, such topic should be in the "Beginners and Help" board but not in "Service Discussion"
524  Other / Meta / Re: Links should open in a new tab - Target="_blank" on: March 25, 2023, 05:35:35 AM
Based on the quote below

Previously, user-generated links would often open in a new window/tab. However, kcud_dab found out that there are security issues with this, so I removed it. You'll have to middle-click links if you want them to open in a new tab.

If people find this disruptive, I could add rel=noreferrer to some of the target=_blank links, but then referrer info would never be sent, which might be undesirable.

@theymos

That was years ago and nowadays any decent browser support <rel=noopener> for <target=_blank> links.
It tells to open the target resource "without the new browsing context access the previous document (the engine does not set Window.opener on the new context, its value will be null)."

Exemple with Chrome, Anchor target=_blank implies rel=noopener by default
525  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blender.io = Sinbad.io | Thoughts? on: March 25, 2023, 01:23:16 AM

You're confusing 2 mixers and both are not related to each other:

We're talking about Blender.io in this topic.
The topic's link you posted is about @DarkStar_ creating a flag against BitBlender.io (forum username @blender)
Hence the title "blender - Ran off with user's funds after shutting down"
526  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PeachBitcoin P2P mobile app on: March 25, 2023, 01:04:46 AM
Sharing a few more screenshots to show how PeachBitcoin works

You don't see the available offers, like you could see with LocalBitcoins and co.
You need to create an offer and then you see the ones that match your criteria (amount, payment method).
You then swipe like you do on Tinder.

Creating an offer                          Choosing your payment method                        Filling your BTC adress

You've got a match.
If you don't like the seller "peach02cf85" (that's the username), you swipe on your screen to go the next offer with your requirements.

The seller then receive a notification on his smartphone and need to open the application. Hopefully he isn't sleeping...
There is also a chat system to talk with the person if you ever want to date

528  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: March 24, 2023, 02:52:06 PM
I just remembered a story.

If you think about Chipmixer with his paypal accounts, hosting paid with PP, Binance's account, etc...
The same thing happened to Bitcoinfog to arrest the operator. He used Lyberty Reserve, a MtGox account with his real identity, etc.
Bought hosting server with LR and BTC coming from MtGox.

Almost exactly the same errors.

(Old people, or a bit old, surely remember about Liberty Reserve?)

What I can't figure out is how can the police prove that the owner of ChipMixer.com knew the origins of the transactions?

It doesn't really matter. The fact is they consider CM as a money transmitter under the Bank Secrecy Act and he hasn't registered with FinCen and so hasn't maintained an anti-money laundering and KYC compliance program. If he did, he would have knew the origins of the transactions

Chipmixer: "I didn't know the origins"
The USA: "You didn't know because you didn't follow the laws"

(but good comparison with a war)

If you seize a server, you have no choice to have data of something. And if you're a law enforcement why should you refuse to collect data...
Unless you don't want to do your job...
529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2023 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: March 24, 2023, 12:10:13 AM

edit: the site is back

[banned mixer] stopped its service, I believe. Both links on the clearnet and .onion are down.
I removed it from the list for now. If the service comes back I will add it again of course because it could be just a maintenance (a too long one) but I'm not sure I'll ever see it online again

I don't know if it's because he has been 'afraid' after the case with Chipmixer or he decided to give up...
He's a guy with a good knowledge in the bitcoin mixer niche.

for my reference

But of course, they don't do DCA themselves...

DCA is worse than a buy and hold strategy or rebalancing your portfolio. If it is supposed to lower the risk, there is no measure of risk provided
Marketing stuff created by banks and brokers since people think it's safer and continue to inject money no matter what the market is doing.

@Fivestar4everMVP

I posted a topic few months ago to ask almost the same thing but with no result.
Later I found https://www.alibitress.com/
it has all the products that AliExpress have in stock. If you place an order on AliBitress, the order will be paid by AliBitress on Aliexpress.
It's a kind of middleman between you and Aliexpress

I haven't used it yet but I plan to give it a try.
There is a topic about it at

here is what nicenic.net just sent to LeGaulois

Nicenic.net hasn't send me anything. I didn't even know the company until today.
I guess it's an error in english (no problem, it happens), but just to be clear with people.

- Moneromixer.net claims "to protect your anonymity since 2018" but the domain name has been registered about 1 month ago.
Apparently, like Marty McFly in the movie Back to the Future, the guy is able to travel with a time machine back in 2018.
Impressive, I'm jealous.

- When you want to mix, the adress generated is always the same.

- The email monero-mixer @xmpp.jp on moneromixer.net is also used in monero[banned mixer]

People do not need and shouldn't use any Monero mixer because it doesn't provide extra security and the currency already has a mixing mechanism. Better to be your own mixer
533  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: March 23, 2023, 01:31:46 PM

Because they're not accused of money laundering like Chipmixer is. They perfectly know these sites are just carbon copies to lure people.
They're not big enough to interest any 3 letters agency. Now if they come to discover they successfully scamed a thousand of people with a few thousands millions of dollars, it will be another story.

These sites will not disappear as long as the traffic keeps coming. At the very least, there might be one or two who will say "oh shit, I can be next" but I'd be very surprised. Scammers know they risk almost nothing.

update about what?

LOL, the same thing I was thinking. But he perfectly knows there is none, since he participates in different topics on this matter.
If there had been a news item, we would have talked about it and he would have read it
534  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: March 22, 2023, 11:09:55 AM
Somebody has been bumping all the other mixer threads lately...

It's me (for a part).

I noticed someone bumped old topics of mixers closed since a long time. I don't get the goal.
I couldn't resist to bump some topics of mixers currently alive and Bisq-Coinsbee.

childish I know.

You can only get a negative tag from DT if you use it on improper way

Nope dude. People shouldn't do that. That's not a reason to give -1 to someone else. It's not like if there is money involved in.
Oherwise, everyone could give -1 because everyone think others don't use the system correctly.
At best, it could be a neutral feedback but to be honest that doesn't even derserve it.
99% of the time it could be solved quickly by communicating each other. Send a friendly PM to the user and debate. Or something around.

Not moderated by the mods because after all that's not their job but it could be moderated by the admin.

This said, I agree with the remainder of your comment.
