Ugh, one of my APW5 PSU's gets burning hot to the touch within a few minutes of plugging it in. I don't feel comfortable running a PSU like that, so one of my L3+'s is just sitting there, it is really hard to look at. Unless I can get it running with a Lepa 1600 watt, will have to count how many 6 pin connectors it has.
Otherwise, first person to offer $3k for it gets it.

So I put "50" in the box for customize fan speed, and the unit won't start up. If I remove it, it starts back up no problem. I just want to quiet the thing down a bit, any ideas?
I'm pretty sure this will not be solved and the only way is to sell the machine to me. please PM me. $3300+shipping and I can ship it out Monday.

Is the L3+ fan as noisy as the s9 or T9? Would it be suitable for home mining? The fan isn't that loud, its some kind of tunnel noise that the airflow makes going through the machine, not totally sure how to get it quieter though. Has anyone else been able to reduce the fan noise anyway?

Seriously. all 3 of mine are averaging 530 poolside and my A4 averages around 230 to 240 on a good day.
Def a solid miner.

So I have 2 being delivered on Monday.
I currently have 5 GPU rigs and these will be my first Bitmain products.
Is there anything more than a power supply and an Ethernet connection I need? How easy are they to get up and going?
Extremely easy, I got mine and had it running to my pool in less than 2 minutes, took longer for my IP scanner to find its IP than anything else, lol. Just plug it in, run angry IP scanner, login, change pool settings, done! Has anyone played with the settings to see what can be squeezed out of these?

I got it too, I would recommend getting it filled out so that you do not have any issues with customs and the units can just move through customs normally.

Planned to stay home this morning and wait for my units, apparently the Fedex guy didn't knock or ring and just left a no one home note. Caught it about 10 minutes after he had left it and tracked him down a couple of streets over and got my units! Didn't have time to go back home and plug them in, but will right after work.

Dumb question from a relative newbie.
Why not just buy cloud mine from Hashnest and get it now vs July?
Looks like their daily maintenance fee is actually less than my electricity.
Couple reasons... Hashnest just went on sale the other day, people had already purchased these before that. Not everyone's electricity is more expensive than theirs If you don't physically have the miner, you don't own the miner Having a physical product will allow you to sell it eventually, you have to pay extra to have the unit shipped to you from Hashnest I am sure there are some others that aren't coming to my mind right now.

Hadn't even checked my email, but got a call from the post office saying I needed to fill out a customs form in the United States because the declared value was $2500. checked my email and my units are shipped. Bitmain shipping early!
when was your expected delivery date? On Friday before 10:30 AM. Looks like I will be going into work late

Possible to send me pics of the 1080Ti card? This is still boxed and new right?
Accepting bitcoin only I am assuming correct?
Cards have been used for mining to various degrees, in like new condition. I can get some picks in a bit. Only accepting bitcoin.

Hello,
I have some various GPU's I would not mind parting with as I do not have need for them. All GPU's have been tested and work fine.
More will be added as they become available/tested...
Nvidia
1x 1060 (not sure manufacturer yet, on its way to me) - $180 2x 1070 founders edition - $350 ea
AMD
Sapphire R9 290X - $130
Prices are not negotiable, please do not ask or make any offers. Shipping and escrow services are covered by buyer. Shipping to US residents primarily, possibly shipping further.
Thanks

I can offer 2k shipped, at 2.5k and current diff rate + it rising I would maybe only break even with an l3+ set for july delivery. 2k shipped is the only way I can ensure ROI hope you understand my reasoning and not taken as a lowball.
You are free to offer whatever you would like, everyone has their own calculations. Unfortunately I have multiple offers at $2500, but it may just be easier to take custody of the units then sell them. We will see how it pans out.

Woohoo, found a 1080 Ti on craigslist that he is letting go for $600, that will complete my first Nvidia rig which now has...
1080 Ti 1080 1080 1070
Now I just need to properly tune them, hoping to pull 2000 sol/s with this rig.

I have been looking at Ebay and have decided that $2500 plus shipping is a fair price for these. Add an extra $100 to use escrow plus escrow fees.
At this price, I will also be entitled to any compensation that Bitmain offers if these are not shipped on time.
I have 3 to sell

There seems to be some interest in the May batch of the L3+'s. I have 3 on the way.
I would be willing to let them go for 3k each plus shipping costs. If you want to use escrow until they arrive, you pay fee and also an extra $250 per unit.
I also have 3 AP5W's on the way also that I will let go for their original cost of $260 ea.
Please post below with questions or comments.

Hmm, finally got around to setting up my Nvidea rig, had two 1080's and a 1070 sitting around for about a week and it hurt to not see them mining.
Started with the 1080 founders edition, and am getting right around 500 hashes, but the card quickly jumped up to 80 C. Does that seem normal?
Did you set power to 65-75%? Manually set fan to 75% All my cards are under 75c Is that done through MSI afterburner?
