521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 04, 2022, 10:42:11 AM
Let's first see what will happen in this month and especially December. We all know there's a history of Bitcoin having an ATH at that month, and it could pull up all the altcoins if ever it does bring a pump, even a small one would suffice to counter the bear market that happened in this year.
But for now, all I could say is that it is quiet, like its resting or hibernating.
If only the war didn't happen between Russia and Ukraine, it could've been different. Sanctions and the pandemic really messed up the economy.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2022, 06:21:01 AM
The Nets drama continues. This time the Nets management released a statement regarding the Irving situation, and it looks like they are pretty mad at him since they mentioned that he is currently unfit to be associated with the Brooklyn Nets. In other words, they have decided to suspend him for at least 5 games without pay. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Irving missed a lot more than 5 games because of this situation.
Then, an apology. Whatever is happening to his brain, it's difficult to understand. He keeps on making theories after theories, Covid, Jews, his own coach, flat earth, NBA, and more. He might as well become a scientist. I will call him Uncle Sci.  Grin
There's no wrong about having these ideas IMO, but there are times you just have to be silent about it and don't go public about telling people about how you feel or what your theory is. He is a public figure now, and a lot of kids are watching and looking up to him.

Brooklyn Nets without him, who knows, it might be for good. If they win games while he is suspended, then the Nets might've fired the wrong guy.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 03, 2022, 04:28:13 PM
The thing about lowering the minimum withdrawal is it's the gambler who will be hurting himself. Imagine going out with $10 and having a transaction fee of $2. That's 20 percent loss which could've been played more and maybe winning more.
The minimum deposit though is a different scenario. I agree by lowering those amounts because there's really no fees behind it, or if there's some it's from cryptocurrencies only because of the blockchain fees. It will definitely encourage more players because it's giving them a chance to hit the jackpot if they are playing high risk type of games.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 03, 2022, 03:21:29 PM
Don't get caught by the FUDsters. They will all say bad stuff about cryptocurrencies. As long as you know you invested in the right project or coin then there is nothing to worry about if it is a bear or a bull. It won't matter for a volatile market, all of us don't have any idea where this market will go.
The pump may not come soon but I doubt the bear market could last for years. Soon, it will still happen, we cannot just pinpoint when.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 03, 2022, 12:16:45 PM
The Milwaukee Bucks is doing quite well even in the absence of its second star Khris Middleton. Now the play is simple which is clearly for Giannis or Jrue can just shoot the ball himself. Although Khris is a viable option for the Bucks' offense, especially during playoff games. For now, they don't have to rush for Khris to return right away. Khris can return to the team 100% healthy.

It's unbelievable that the favorite teams continue to struggle except for the Bucks and Suns.
Giannis is too strong that he becomes a black hole absorbing the defense whenever he tries to penetrate to the rim. This gives opportunity to shooters as long as he is able to kick it out perfectly to them. Their next game will be a competitive team, the Timberwolves. They rely with speed and with two big man to protect the rim.
This may become their first loss if Gobert and KAT can stop Giannis with his attacks.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This days you can't predict what will make you vulnerable to hack, I need answer on: November 03, 2022, 06:13:57 AM
With my profile rank I still feel somehow asking this type of question, but I guess one can't know it all..
Ask away anything that doubts you, it's better that way than forcing it and then end up making a mistake.

Is it safe to go on google search and type " how to add polygon to metamask"? I ask this because this days you can only stay one step ahead of scammers if you are getting information fast.

Are there no scam adding network to metamask yet?

Is there no way scammers are already using fake RPC URL to scam people? I need to ask.

Also do you have any solid genuine link where all chain data can be copy and past into Metamask instead of searching then through the web?.
As long as you know the right links then you are safe. You can also use the padlock icon in your browser to determine the security of the site where you will get the RPC.
There are ways to fake the RPC but I don't think it could lead to a hack. I haven't bumped into a situation like that or read an experience from other users that they were hacked by that kind of scheme.
Just avoid sign ups whenever they are asking, information should be free if you are just copy pasting.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎵 What kind of music do you listen when you gamble? 🎶🎧 on: November 02, 2022, 03:25:17 PM
I like calm music when I am playing dice. That should equal the strain from losing many times. Cheesy
Michael Bublé songs or country songs from Blake Shelton. Or, that concert by David Foster's composed songs which is filled with great stars that will surely calm things down and would stop you from breaking your mouse or keyboard if ever a sudden big loss comes around.
But that's just for me, I think we all have a preferred song choice in everything we do.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning on: November 02, 2022, 01:14:36 PM
Or sometimes it doesn't go as planned but it ended up good. It's a very important part of life or else it will become a living hell without a path you are trying to follow. Most of my young years I just live by the day, but as I grow older, there is this frightening future that surrounded me and that is where I thought of something to avoid that.
It's everywhere.
From food to time management, to work, trading crypto, investments, even making love to your wife should be planned.  Grin
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 02, 2022, 12:07:15 PM
What the heck! The arrogance of the Brooklyn Nets to fire Steve Nash after being humble and forgiving Kyrie after what he said. Damn!
That's one thing men would not be willing to do and yet he did so that concludes he is really a good coach just to keep the team intact.
Then, he took them to the playoffs which should've been impossible after that stunt by Kyrie, KD, and Ben. The other guy doesn't want to play, while the other feels like he should not play yet and another thinks he is better than his coach.  Grin
It's their loss, I wish Steve Nash will be hired by other teams and prove them wrong. Sweet Revenge.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 01, 2022, 02:11:54 PM
I have no problem with creating a thread like this, but for me, I want a dedicated discussion on a particular boxing match so we can dwell on the strength and weaknesses of each fighter and give hints or tips for those who like to bet on that particular fight, the flow of discussion will always be on-topic about one particular match.
I don't also buy the idea of using just a single thrend for boxing  because, I would prefer to see discussion about a particular match and fighters addressed and tackled seperately, so one can truly know in expectations what a match would be.
On the other hand, it is nice as attention wouldn't be channed on just a single match as other matches wuld be discusssed and one could possibly get hints about the matches.
There are just too many matches out there and it might fill the gambling discussion thread with full of boxing matches.
I think this thread just serves as an update if there will be a fight somewhere. Pick your own poison type of discussion then reply to those you like only.
Nah. the Paul brothers know and understand the business. They know that Manny Pacquiao can still fight dangerously.

They won't risks challenging him as that will result in their 1st loss.

But since it's an exhibition, maybe there will be some script but I doubt Manny will follow the terms about allowing them to win.
I doubt that too. Enough of this matches that would ruin the names of known boxers. A lot of kids are looking up to them and they don't want their hero's name to be ruined just because of an exhibition match. What if something wrong will happen while they are fighting for entertainment purpose?

531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie trading believe on: November 01, 2022, 12:50:09 PM
This forum had been reminding people about that fact. The only problem is, if they don't bump on that certain thread although you can clearly see it because most of the time it will be pages of repeated reminders.
High expectations about the cryptocurrency market are what makes it more inviting.
It's cool to be in the circle of new ways to make money but it should be carefully done because money is involved. If you fail, it gets harder to get it back with emotions flying everywhere.

"He's an All-Star," Beasley said. "I've preached that, and I want him to get that this year. … So we've got to make sure we continue winning and get him that ballot vote."
I don't know about you guys, but I am voting for this kid Lauri Markkanen to be on the All-Star even though it's still early in the season.
A 7-footer dominating the league who can shoot outside, make his way to the rim using his strength, a good defender, and with passing skills.
Above all that is his heart to close the game with a win.
With the help of veterans beside him like Conley and Gay, he will surely grow more intellect about the game.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 01, 2022, 03:24:47 AM
Are you waiting for one branch of government to tell it? Or you could decide by yourself. Because as how I see it, as a consumer, I can feel that we are in recession already. Wages are not enough for an individual to survive, you will need another job to make it through. But that's the other problem, there's also fewer jobs at this economic situation and instead of hiring, they are actually kicking some employees out because they cannot pay anymore.
If everyone will focus on saving and investing, there will be a problem in consumption rates which means less workers needed.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning Coins new Marketing Ploy on: October 31, 2022, 04:27:58 PM
I understand what you are trying to say here but I guess they really have no choice because the old marketing idea doesn't work anymore due to the competition getting higher/broader. The only solution is mimic Bitcoin with a smaller number of coins and maybe some luck if ever investors find out about it.
What I don't understand is, they are the ones who input how many coins they will create and yet after a year they will try to burn it out.
Yes, I think because there no other way or they are cornered.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 30, 2022, 07:58:11 AM
Ya, another rough night for Klay Thompson as the Warriors lost to the Charlotte Hornets who didn’t have LaMelo Ball or Terry Rozier (their starting backcourt). I think the Warriors just had a bad three point shooting night. Live by the 3 die by the 3. I’m sure they’ll bounce back.
I am sure they will bounce back.
Klay Thompson, imo, is not that same Klay we have seen before the injury yet. 941 days of rest is not a joke without practice, training, or anything to improve his game. All that nerves may have been on the restoring part.
We haven't seen him scored above 20 points yet but I am glad to see him playing 32 minutes now. That should mean something for him and for their team to build more confidence.

As for the Hornets, I’ve heard rumors of them looking at a trade with Gordon Hayward and some others for Russell Westbrook and some picks.
If this happens, Hornets might be the perfect place for WB. They lack leadership there especially when LaMelo is not playing.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pumpkin Soup And Family Warmth on: October 30, 2022, 06:02:40 AM
I did not participate in the pumpkin contest because I cannot find a pumpkin that is good for carving.

Anyway, what you did was great. No food was wasted. I would do the same if I were to find one.
It's awesome that it was delicately cooked so that the physical look will not break. Thumbs up to whoever cooked it.  Cheesy
I would've messed it up to a slimy mashed pumpkin if I have done it, but I like it that way especially with rice and some grilled fish.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: October 29, 2022, 06:37:13 PM
Thank you for putting it in one. Some of the coins listed brings back memories and it makes you see how profitable investing in the top 10 is than how it is now. Looking for a gem is more difficult as more coins are being created.
This also tells how investment is way risky now that how it was before. As the competition gets broader it's easy to miss other projects that have a future ahead while we are stuck to something that won't even move even for a long-term holding.
Dash is a good example. $2 at 2014, $293 at 2017. Selling it now will still make you profits. It doesn't matter if you miss the ATH.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency replace other currencies? on: October 29, 2022, 10:08:33 AM
Other countries might do but I doubt cryptocurrencies will be their main currency. It will always be cash as the preferred means of payment.
We are not yet in the world where the government will really provide everything just so his countrymen will have the means to use cryptocurrency especially the poor.
It will be a waste of funds, or some will say it is not a wise investment at all. It could've been for food, for roads, infrastructure, and others but will never be for freebies like smartphones and there's a chance they won't even use it.
Knowledge is another investment; you will have to add it to the school curriculum.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 29, 2022, 07:34:22 AM
It's still a bit early to be talking MVP, there are nine guys currently averaging over 30 points per game.  I think when that calms down a bit, if Luka is still the scoring leader then we can talk.  Giannis is having an amazing season already as well and if he can stay healthy he will definitely be in the MVP conversation.
Agree with that. Then injuries could also happen so we cannot tell this just yet. There are also instances where other players will find their own rhythms after 10 - 20 games so expect sudden changes in the score rankings.
Rookie of the year might be Paolo Banchero if he keeps that promising performance every game.
For today's Lakers talk...  It looks like they're already starting to fall behind the Timberwolves...  The real game of the night for me will be the Suns vs the Pelicans on ESPN in just over an hour.  I'm hoping that Zion will play and is feeling better after his back injury from being fouled hard while driving to the basket earlier in the week.
Suns won. No Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram yet. Expect Ingram to miss the next game too against the Clippers but let's see if Zion can make it.
It will be an entertaining game if he does so.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Why We Prefer Online Casinos to Land-based Casinos on: October 28, 2022, 02:25:41 PM
Accessibility is the reason I switched to online gambling. Then of course, the pandemic has a lot to do with that. If that didn't happen, then I may be visiting the casino until now and playing slots.
I cannot say it's a good thing. If there's easy access, then it means more spending. Just like the online shopping thing, now my wife cannot be stopped at browsing that application.
You can do it anytime you want while being safe at home, but it also gives you access to the savings you have.
I would still prefer just bringing enough cash in a casino and going home when it reaches zero.
