India had a flying start and both the openers scored centuries and now they will look to increase the run rate to score above 350 runs as they are scoring at run a ball and Rohit started to score the boundaries after crossing his century.
Rahul got out looking for the big shot and i hope they will carry the same momentum without loosing much wickets.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: Greeks face heavy fines if they don't spend 30% of their income electronically on: December 17, 2019, 04:05:33 PM
I have also read the news that several countries have also issued policies to limit and reduce the use of fiat money. and maybe this policy will encourage the government to also legalize cryptocurency as an alternative means of payment.
It will not encourage any government to legalize crypto but they want to have complete control over the transactions made by their citizens.

and I agree with the opinion that maybe the Greek government issued the policy to be able to take tax automatically from the accounts of its citizens so that no one will be in arrears to pay taxes.
Is it even allowed to automatically withdraw the tax directly from the account without a consent, it is against the freedom of an individual and i am not sure that will happen because Greece is a democratic republic and if a government does anything then they will be removed from power in the next election if there is a favorable candidate or a party that caters to the needs of the common citizen.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: December 17, 2019, 01:05:35 PM
Now let me make an account for myself. I think 100 bitcoins are enough for me in the next 50 years. If I have to think of my family, we can handle 150 bitcoins for 100 years. Because I think the bitcoin price will increase. How much bitcoin do I have today? : d 0.04!
Even with your calculation you need to invest money and this is the best opportunity to invest money considering that the price of bitcoin will increase after the halving and you might not even see the current valuation in the future and what are you waiting for, considering my budget i will get the coins i can and i have invested when i had the money and now the budget is exhausted to invest further but i am happy with it as i am not greedy  Tongue.
524  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Indian Govt. committee is proposing 10 years jail for dealing in crypto on: December 17, 2019, 09:44:52 AM
It's happy to see that atleast one politician has got some brains. But we can't jump into any conclusions now. Let's see how this conference goes.
The problem with the system is that we need to have the brains and opinion of many politicians to have a law that makes sense and the problem they will be looking at the cases filed against the theft of bitcoin from exchanges and other complaints and none of the cases are resolved or close to resolving and rather than sitting on those cases without any expert help they are not going to find a solution for that, so they need to plan and create an expert group to take care and monitor the asset and it will be a lengthy procedure and the more time these politicians take to understand these things the companies that invested initially will move to other countries that are favorable.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 16, 2019, 04:33:43 PM
Is it because of the patriotic level or the fear of getting back in the team
The reason is because they are contracted with the BCCI and they are not allowed to participate in any other leagues other than the IPL and once you are under contract with the BCCI and no one in the right sense will plan to breach those contracts and basically it is not patriotism that is displayed but they are fulfilling the contract they signed to play for the country and they are earning a hell lot of money playing cricket and hence no one will complain about the pay scale.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: December 16, 2019, 02:35:18 PM
Conor helped build to where the UFC is today because he helped take it to the next level with his talent as showman and a troll. There was no one else before him in this level. He is the cause of why this sport has many casual fans hehehehehe.
Conor McGregor put more eyes into the sport because of his trash talking skills and his cross over to boxing brought yet another fan base and he is a showman but after that his graph went down because of his troubles outside the fight arena and Donald Cerrone is the perfect return fight and i hope he will not take on Khabib once again as he has other great fights for the fans to see and with a new champion in 145 pound division i hope he will once again challenge the champion in that division rather than challenging anyone in higher weight divisions.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 16, 2019, 11:57:57 AM
Harsha raising very good and critical question but sadly there is no solution to this problem for at least next 5-10 years IMO. its hard to find next Sachin,Sehwag, Yuvraj,Raina.
It is a realistic point that there is a lack of batting all rounders apart from Jadeja and Pandya is injured for a very long period of time and you cannot find players like Sachin Sehwag or Yuvraj who could change the match with bat and ball and i feel we under appreciated Yuvraj when he was playing as he was fully utilized as an all rounder around the 2011 world cup and he performed above all expectations.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 16, 2019, 10:13:59 AM
But sometimes players are more concerned about their own international records as well as patriotism towards the country. And this is where the difference between Starc and the West Indian players come in.
The West Indies cricket team is formed by players from different countries around that region and you cannot come up with the patriotic card along for these players to play for the West Indies cricket board and they need money and if the cricket board is not able to provide that they will be looking else where and the T20 franchise leagues are giving the money what they are looking for and hence they are performing globally.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 15, 2019, 04:29:29 PM
SD Hope is the main set batsmen at 78 and he needs to stay till the end.
Hope played a really slow innings according to the current ODI standards and he was unbeaten till the end and his over strike rate is around 72 which is low and yet he is performing when it matters.

It is a straight win from here onwards. Nobody can stop WI from winning this match. A completely one-sided match. From the beginning, they have dominated and have been crushing India to a defeat.
West Indies dominated the first match and it was a one sided match and the bowlers were disappointing as they were not able to put pressure on the West Indies batsman nor able to pick wickets, what changes do they make in the second match is interesting if they want to win the series.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 15, 2019, 03:44:32 PM
is it possible for India to win from this stage as they need 6 runs per over.
If India needs to win from this situation, they needs to start picking up wickets and put the pressure back to the West Indies batsman but they are playing really well and they have 8 wickets in hand and they just need 50 more runs to win and they can easily win the match as they have plenty of batsman to come and the pitch is not assisting the bowlers and they are facing them with ease.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: December 15, 2019, 02:49:18 PM
I recommend you stop and use that money to buy a new car. Do not try to make money at the bear market, this is the absolute rule of many investors. Do you think ICO or IEO projects can live in a period where bitcoin is constantly falling?
The best time to invest is always in a bear market, i do not support investing in shit coins and IEO projects as the market is just a pump and dump scheme as there is no project that is going to be successful and even if there are the percentage of successful projects are really low and hence the risk is really huge as an investor, i would invest during this bear market in bitcoin and a couple of other forks and ten percentage in top altcoins.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun’s Weibo Account Has Officially Been Shut Down on: December 15, 2019, 01:55:26 PM
I can sense that within the next decade, we will be going cashless. However, China can ride the wave only in a centralized way. But decentralization is the future (especially for those who are unbanked), as people like us are seeking to take control on what we own rather than the central banks controlling it.
For sure, China will suffer and regret in the future about not embracing Bitcoin, TRON and other cryptocurrencies in the market.
I really do not think that it will happen around the globe, there are third world countries that are struggling and going cashless by the government does not even mean going the crypto way and it is not a big surprise that China is taking this approach and is it even a big news news as Justin Sun just likes to be in the media attention all the time and what is he doing in this market that needs to give him this much special attention  Roll Eyes.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 15, 2019, 01:08:31 PM
There is a bigger picture here as well, with some people holding hundreds or thousands of BTC and the price continuing to go up - how might the court system view Bitcoin in the context of divorce and separation?
This is a really weird situation, why would anyone put pressure on your free will unless they made their plans to divorce a long time back and bitcoin can be a private invest if you had made those investment a few years back without the knowledge of your partner and when it comes to the court system unless and until you cash out the money there is no need for you to compensate with the amount of coins you are holding and it depends upon which country you are coming from.
I am not surprised to see many supporting to give the share when you are divorcing even with bitcoin, i can understand that sentiment.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 14, 2019, 05:21:43 PM
Two days remaining in this match, and therefore we are certain about a result.
There is plenty of time for Australia to bowl out New Zealand the second time and they way in which the New Zealand players were struggling to cope up with the pace and only Taylor was able to have some resistance and if they need to draw the match then New Zealand should play an incredible game of cricket we have never seen in the past to even draw the match.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: December 14, 2019, 02:37:06 PM

@Adriano2010
I holding both some years ago, but i preffer Ethereum because is much used and also with smart contracts, but you can buy with 70% of money Ethereum and with 30% litecoin and hold for next bull run.
When you are investing in Ethereum make sure you have a clear idea about the tokens using the smart contracts and how many projects are successful to keep on using them, there are a ton of fake tokens and are flooding the network and you might have experienced the delay while sending your coins and tokens a few months back and the update might not change everything, i would invest in Litecoin simply because they are planning to shift the focus of the project to privacy based coins, lets see how things will move in this market, either way i am holding both these coins and if i am getting a profit, i will gladly accept it.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After years in this space...I am now a BTC/ETH maximalist (Both are important) on: December 14, 2019, 01:02:30 PM
Under 2017 bitcoin and ethereum look like have connected where bitcoin with higher price ethereum can potential to be on higher price too, but today when bitcoin can raise above $7k ethereum look weakness with lower price today about $144, how come ethereum and bitcoin have far away price not the same like three years ago when ethereum can up more than above $1k.
The main difference is that the hype behind ETH is over, there were tons of projects coming along and we all thought that the market is going to flourish with the help of the ETH network but instead all the shitty and scam projects who stole billions of dollars were the true highlight and what do you expect, that is the main difference and so we saw similar prices of ETH alongside bitcoin but after that bitcoin just left the station Cheesy .
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 14, 2019, 07:32:15 AM
New Zealand all out for 166 runs and they did not enforce the follow on and it might be because Australia have a one bowler shot and they need to have a good healthy lead of 350 runs which they really do not need to fold the New Zealand batting line up but i think they are giving rest to their bowlers by coming out to bat and it is a good decision by the Australian captain.
538  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: is it legal to trade bitcoins in india? on: December 14, 2019, 06:27:38 AM
India have banned using bitcoin and there are not available for using bitcoin as trading, investment assets and using bitcoin as legal currency.
It is far from the truth, you cannot run a business related to cryptocurrency, what all countries accept bitcoin as a legal tender, none officially as far as i know and there is no rule that says that people trading or holding bitcoin will be jailed but some countries have outright ban in countries like Bangladesh, if you trade you are going to prison and that is not the case with India.

Government of India have banned bitcoin more than last one years and many bitcoin member from India can't withdraw their bitcoin assets to bank and only use convert way to withdraw bitcoin, right not they have use VPN for access to bitcoin exchange site maybe.
Once again, these are not true, you do not need a VPN to access bitcoin exchanges, this is not China we are talking about  Tongue.

P2P exchanges are active in India and millions are traded on a daily basis for your information and majority of the trading volume are in bitcoin and USDT.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So are we waiting for Ethereum 2.0 to take full effect in 2030? on: December 13, 2019, 04:33:01 PM
Yeah, I know this is kind of an old stuff to say, but I kinda agree with it though. They say that it may take a long while for Ethereum 2.0 to be in full effect.
For crypto enthusiasts out there (especially who are supporters and holders of Ethereum), I know this isn't something you are excited about. However, if you think about long term, that's where we all should be excited.
It is good to see a change in the perception of things, rather than predicting the price of ETH to go off the charts after they release the ETH 2.0 you are coming up with a neutral prediction and it is most probably true as there is nothing that shows that the price of ETH will rally in the next few years and we need more improvements and applications for ETH to be fully utilized and for that it will take time and it is not a cash cow anymore in the short term.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: December 13, 2019, 03:44:23 PM
As the poll question states, in your opinion, is it a good idea to buy (stack) gold?
Feel free to elaborate your answer.
I might convert some bitcoin to gold after reaching my target but not anytime soon,  gold is a solid investment but i am not expecting a massive rally in gold anytime soon, if there is an economic crisis then we might see a rally in the price of gold and the next two years there is a high chance of seeing a bitcoin rally because halving is taking place next year and everyone have their own prediction on how long the rally will go and i do not want to miss that.
