541  Other / Meta / Re: Promoting Website- allowed? on: October 28, 2021, 07:10:03 PM
But I don't think it should consider as spam or breaking any forum rules.
It is. How would anyone put almost no effort into the forum contribution but use the forum for SEO purpose or any other purpose which don't fit the forum purpose? Luis has used the forum for only advertising their content and increasing SEO scores for some keywords.
As the moderator deleted all of his posts, I guess it's because of zero quality or advertising spam.
Anyway. I got the answer I'm looking for. I will lock the thread now.
542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KYC is not enough, Bad actors are everywhere on: October 28, 2021, 06:31:07 PM
The amount was too small. I can't imagine why someone would try to scam for such an amount; provided that they are KYCed and can be tracked. Only possible scam scenario here can be that you didn’t check your wallet but released the payment. In that case, I guess you had no other option. That's what was in his mind I guess but who knows.
I don’t want to comment on whether KYC is good/bad; it's a variable IMO. You can get a lot of advantages with it as well. Binance allow 100 BTC daily withdrawal limit for KYCed users. You can't get this limit anywhere without KYC I guess.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee ( Participants only) on: October 28, 2021, 06:21:56 PM
How did I get 2 points today? If I'm correct, I had 12 points yesterday & after today’s match, it's 14 now; I didn’t get a margin point. What am I missing? Can someone put some light here?

I disagree. Did you forget about the fact that West Indies got bowled out for 50 something recently against England? This isn't fixing. Their players are clearly out of form.
That's not about off form of course. Did you check the total score? It was 143 & if I exclude Simmons run & ball faced, it's 127 from 85 balls (didn’t calculate the extra run though). Don't you think it’s a nice score if we keep Simmons score apart? How the f he did 16 run only facing 35 balls while other played normal. It's weird & suspicious of course.

An unverified user may only withdraw 1 BTC and trade worth 400 USD a day, according to Kucoin's support pages. Region is irrelevant.

https://support.kucoin.plus/hc/en-us/articles/360015102254-About-KYC-Verification

This is an very old announcement. Until few days ago, it was 5 BTC a day but most recent update, they adjusted it to 1 BTC again. However, there's no limit of trading volume. I have traded a quite good amount today; without KYC. I guess you are with wrong information.
546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Strange Bitcoin address on: October 27, 2021, 06:41:44 PM
It's not a bitcoin address I guess. Where did you get the address from? It's more like an address in different chain or an address of wrapped bitcoin. I'm not sure if it's SOL address; I guess it is if I can remember correctly. It would be good if you share which wallet is it though it's more like a coinbase wallet.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee ( Participants only) on: October 27, 2021, 05:59:51 PM
In Group-1 Windies is almost out.
Have you noticed Simmons yesterday? He scored 16 out of 35 balls. I got a feeling that it was a fixing. I don’t know how is it even possible. The match result would be different. Apart from his batting, West Indies played pretty good. Out of 85 balls, they scored 127 runs which I believe somewhat a good score. That was unbelievable from Simmons.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AVAX into Avalanche wallet on: October 26, 2021, 05:45:11 PM

There is an obligatory identification verification procedure on Kucoin.

From which region are you from? In my region, Kucoin doesn’t require KYC & for non KYC member, daily withdrawal limit is 5 BTC which is quite good amount for me and for most of the people I guess. You have to create an account on Kucoin & it requires an email only.

Bridges are supposed to be communicating with other blockchains. While you are looking for exchange from X coin to Y. I found this DEX while searching on google but make sure their reputation is good enough. I have never used them personally. By the way, why do you need DEX; can't you do it from Kucoin where KYC isn't mandatory & they have 5 BTC daily withdrawal.

550  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | The highest Payout among all major Bookmakers + Free BTC on: October 25, 2021, 06:46:06 PM

No one is limited. when you have enough money to bet and you did not deposit, your faucet will be stopped automatically. this rule applies to users who just try to harvest faucet and withdraw and try it again and again. It is the bookie's right to stop or start any free services that it provides at any time. BetJa never mentioned paying faucets for lifetime

That makes enough sense. Why would anyone even harvest/abuse the faucet? You have the right to stop it anytime. But Pmalek probably said about the following part I have quoted and bold.

But I found the restrictions in my account. There was no restrictions until the balance went above 120k satoshi. BetJA support isn't replying me now. As a result, I changed my plan of making the deposit and shared my experience here. They says the same thing, not the one which I'm asking for.
Why that account was restricted? If I'm correct, Mahdi Rakib said he doesn't have enough matches to place the bet even; isn't it a limitation? If so, why did you put that in his account? It really sounds ridiculous. Did you solve the issue already?

Obviously I didn't break any of their rules. But it's true that I haven't made any deposit in my account. I claimed few faucets and reached above min withdrawal with some good bet selection. Don't know why they kept faucet on their site while they are addressing this kind of issue as a crime.
Man, many sites use this as a gesture or in most cases, to check out the site for newcomers but it's not for abuse (I really think it's kinda abuse). It's not a crime of course.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Sell 75.000 FUN Token - At 10% Discount - 194% APR!!! - Only Escrow on: October 25, 2021, 06:36:19 PM
you will obtain a return of about 190% APR !!!!

Anyone planning to have this lucrative APR offer must have known what can happen after you purchased the account. It is very possible that the original owner can claim the account anytime just with a signed message from the bitcoin address they used prior to selling the account. It's very risky IMO but it's up to you. Just read this before you decide. I appreciate OP linking the post but a quote would be a better presentation IMO.
It isn't forbidden to sell an account but anyone buying it is opening themselves to getting scammed. All the seller has to do is say that the account was hacked and request it to be handed back to them in a Bitcoin signed message from an address they previously deposited from.

552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap hacked on: October 25, 2021, 06:19:31 PM
there's no email or any message that contain malicious links.  So I doubt CZ claimed was right, it was just a FUD because I don't even receive emails in my inbox.
That's not how it works. Hacker will most possibly sell the email database in darkweb. The buyer can be assured that all these emails belong to people who are interested & linked with crypto. They can use the email for phishing purposes, for advertising purposes. You are unlikely to get an email instantly after the hack.
CZ claimed it as FUD? This guy can do anything to cover up their shit. Though I appreciate his business plan & success; he is not a good guy for the crypto at all in general. Can you remember the 7000 BTC hack from Binance? CZ tried his best to prevent the news from being spread everywhere & that's why he took attention to REVERSING (it's not a reverse though) the transaction with a fork even though he was certain that it's never going to happen.
553  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shamm copy-pasted his own post in order to earn merit on: October 25, 2021, 05:51:50 PM
every Newbies posted the same Thread so my reply is the same also I admit that my mistake is I Only copying my Post then paste it to other post.
In theory, it's nothing wrong I guess as you didn't steal anyone else's work & claimed it as yours; that's none of the offensive IMO & should not be. But posting the same times & times doesn't look good either; instead, you can quote yourself. That would serve both purposes; avoiding posting the same every time & helping the newbie as well.
I don't think these accounts are alt of Shamm. If they were, it would be cheating but as I said, these are not probably alt & newbies often post such threads.
554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] SafeMoon Inu - plagiarized whitepaper on: October 25, 2021, 05:41:07 PM
Holy Crap! & there are people prepared for investing such crap & pump it up LOL. How TF such shit projects get listed in exchanges like Binance even? Well, this is most probably the reason pointed by SFR10 quoted below.

What do you think? Could it be the other way around instead?
It would be hard for anyone to believe this as a coincidence & very unlikely. I'm sure both these websites belong to the same person & they are after scamming some money. I have heard people create projects on BSC and after selling a few thousand worths of tokens, they move on & create a new project/token. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case here as well.
555  Other / Meta / Promoting Website- allowed? on: October 24, 2021, 07:40:52 PM
Title may sound like crazy? Everyone is promoting their casino site, news site, or any other platform here in bitcointalk. Can if Luis leon be categorized as of them or is he different? Luis leon has 12 posts (topic/thread in fact) which include article link of coin*****.com, I believe there's nothing wrong to share such a site (Am I wrong with this?). But all the other sites promote themselves in a single thread; they create an announcement & update every time they have something to share with the community but Luis leon is creating a thread every time he needs to share one of his articles. Is it okay to create a thread every time they create an article on their website? Or, they should have an ANN thread here & update on that thread?
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who owns bitcoin foundation? on: October 24, 2021, 06:40:45 PM
I just have seen the website bitcoinfoundation.org; who owns the website? I can't find a lot of information on the website. Besides, I can't find the purpose of the website as well since there's not much information on the website other than 3 pages-
About Us (Have no information)
News (Return to the homepage again)
Become a member (I doubt the button works)
Can someone put some light on this? I can see they have activities in their twitter handle though but the website seems a dead one.

I have never seen Pakistani batsman to play such calm on chases LOL; this match is somewhat an exciting one. Both Rizwan & Babar Azam is playing exactly like they should be playing. They didn’t play like the usual Pakistan  Grin Nevertheless, it should be an easy chase and that's what it has been. I was impressed by Shaheen Afridi bowling at first two overs. He was incredible.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Post sold for $28000 !!! on: October 23, 2021, 05:37:29 PM
Who was the original owner of the meme? Eva Beylin?
Nevertheless, this is ridiculous how the NFT market is growing. This is not the first time; nor the last. I won't be surprised if someone bids/buys the NFT with 70 ETH.

The guy offers coins stuck in scam website.
Or the website is own by OP and trying to trick people to scam LOL. This is very possible & with such scam trick, I have seen few cases where scammer himself pretend to be the victim.
Be aware, anyone. Don't fall into his scam trick.
