1. Confirm received?
2. Confirm rewards?
3. Max coin cap?
- Blocks are generated on average every 60 seconds.
- The reward for solving a block starts at 20 motocoins, which is halved every 1'000'000 blocks (about two years) and stops decreasing at 0.4 motocoins per block.
- Mining difficulty is adjusted every 2000 blocks through lowering the target time if blocks took less than an average of 60 seconds to generate, or raising the target time if blocks took longer than that.
- ≈40 million coins are to be generated during the first 12 years and ≈200,000 coins per year after.
ty for the help! but i was wondering how many confirms before spending a received coin in qt wallet? how many confirms before spending a mined reward? btw its ok ty for the help I believe it is 120 but I am not sure. That was actually just a guess, I have no idea. It seems awfully quiet here, any development going on? |

I don't know. I sometimes believe and sometimes don't depending on every new discovery they find.
Check out the story of "Red Rain" Some respected scientists think it's our first -proof- of alien life. simple cell life.. but still life ! red rain came down it was examined and found to replicate on it's own. it does not contain DNA and excretes uranium as a waste product. when the rain happened a meteor had hit the atmosphere in that are and exploded in the sky.. fragments were scanned and contained deep inside it where the same shaped micro organisms. professional labs and pro scientists tried to get NASA involved but they refused. It's simple.. if it lives ? It has DNA. this red rain contained self replicating living cell's that have no trace of DNA at all ! What do you call that then ? Watch the show, The Unexplained Files - S01E06 - Alien Rain, Beach Boom & Voynich Manuscript I just read about that on Wikipedia and apparently two independent groups confirmed that there was in fact DNA in the cells. Which is disappointing.  |

If there was a progress bar for servicenodes what percentage would it be at? 10%?
If I were forced to estimate I would say approximately 35% Ah, awesome! Just wondering, when did the progress start? Was it 2 months after Mr. spread left or was it like 4 months ago? |

nice to see mainstream media with *slightly* positive coverage. and yeah, the comments are improving in these articles. more people are defending BTC; great to see.
It is great to see. I wonder if they act negative because they are jealous or just don't understand it. Anyway, I hope articles continue to stay positive and boost the price. We need a boost before the next halving otherwise bad stuff might end up happening. Then we'll be in trouble. |

While I was reading your post I was thinking about this myself. This is exactly what i'm thinking. Since bitcoin can technically "live forever" then I guess it is inevitable that it will reach 0 at some point. But that is probably waaay WAY in the future. Lets hope they figure out how to stop ageing or something. |
