541  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: September 22, 2018, 07:31:48 AM
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?

I don't think so because when the young generation can use the internet as a new way to make money, I am sure that they can get a lot of money from the internet. today, the young generation can search a lot of opportunity from the internet and they don't have to just stick with the traditional way and they can be able to earn much money. and after they can have a lot of money, they can buy their house too.
Well, that is one way to look at it, considering that the world is digital these days, but one thing I am sure of is that humans will always been needed for a lot of things, no matter how much technology is going to change a lot of things.

However, we do not also need to forget that a lot of things will be limited, most especially when it comes to the area of labor jobs, in which machine is already taking over as it is, and with more improvement in technology, this would be an area in which things would quickly go digitized.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Dropping the Ethereum price? on: September 17, 2018, 10:57:01 AM
Lack of good ICOs is one of the big reasons.
I dont know honestly, but I really miss good ICOs which provide something meaningful that you can use in everydays life.
It definitely will and it is not until the weak hands like the OP who thinks downtrend is equivalent to death get to leave the market out of frustration before we will start seeing a very good movement upward.

There is nothing that has a beginning that does not have an end, and same thing applies to downtrend and uptrend. If people cannot understand that downtrend, is a good opportunity to be buying, then I wondered what they have been learning all these while, when relating to investment.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do you Handle a Downtrend as a day trader? on: September 15, 2018, 12:24:24 PM
Although crypto market on bearish but there are also some altcoin going up ranging from 10% to 30% aday , so we still opportunity to make some profit. But this is will be more difficult to get it because only some of crypto going up and so many going down. And to avoid loss we should be keep some balance in to fiat or USDT , and we can use it again to buy coins after the price on the bottom. Patient waiting for bottomed price will be promising big profit because when the price on the deep is more easy to push up to 100% just in afew days.

There will always be an opportunity for every point of the market; it is just the knowledge to take advantage of those opportunities that virtually most people who want to trade does not have. A market will always reach an oversold state at some point and always tend to come with some little bit of correction or small level of reversal in between, so for someone who knows what they are doing, this can always be taken advantage of but like I said, it certainly requires great deal of knowledge and experience to trade a bear market.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people nervous about owning and investing in cryptocurrencies? on: September 15, 2018, 11:17:31 AM
I think that it is obvious because investing in crypto involves risks even if you are an expert and have learnt the basics of trading in the crypto market. To my mind, being nervous is normal
Investing in anything at all involved risk and it is just the level of risk that differs. The more risky an investment is, the more likely it is for the investor to gain so much in the long term, and probably lose out too. So, it is not usually like a key to wealth, but could be if you are patient enough.

People are nervous however; because all they focus so much about is the short term and they tend to look away at the long term of things and how the space will evolve over time into a better one.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Rises Into Philippines Towards Legalization of Crypto Exchange on: September 15, 2018, 09:46:19 AM

Bitcoin prices rose on Wednesday amid reports that the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is considering allowing crypto currency exchange platforms to operate in the country.

Bitcoin edged up 1.0% to $ 7,353.4 at 11:55 p.m. on the Bitifinex exchange, while Ethereum fell 0.4% to $ 284.69.

Meanwhile, XRP traded at $ 0.33045, down 0.8% in the last 24 hours on Poloniex, while Litecoin rose 1.3% to $ 67.497.

The Manila Times reported that the SEC would work with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the country's central bank, to arrange exchanges.

Citing SEC Commissioner Ephyro Lius Amatong, the Manila Times reported that the agency is likely to release draft regulations later this month and that they aim to regulate exchanges as a trading platform as soon as possible.

"We see the need to regulate them as a trading platform," Amatong told reporters.

"We have discussed this issue with BSP because BSP is also interested and we are also interested. The discussion ... [involved] supervision of cooperative cooperation on VCE involved in trade, "he said.

In other news, the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) said the country was a currency that was reforming the registration process for crypto exchange.

"The state watchdog has increased the number of questions asked when filtering applications up to about 400 items - up fourfold," the FSA said.

FSA commissioner Toshihide Endo later added that the new regulations were not intended to limit financial innovation in the country, and that supervisors only intended to see the crypto industry "grow under the right regulations."
Normally, this is what legalization will obviously cause as it gives people the rest of mind to invest in cryptocurrency without the country breathing on their neck every time and also get to see some improvement in the economy as a result of that based on more development in the area of blockchain within the country and the need to do things better, and so on.

People might still keep looking at the price drop still as a concern, but this is something that is going to be useful for the growth and development of the space in the long run.
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Trading on: September 12, 2018, 12:52:23 PM
I just read some article about Forex trading. I read that 90% of traders in Forex Fail or lose their money and 10% are succeed and make a large profit.

I am just wondering if the Forex is better that C-cex  because as far as I know Forex is using Real amount rather a Real money and at C-cex is altcoins. So do you think trying the luck in Forex can make a profit or just stay at bitcoin trading? Luck and strategy is needed but what do you think is safer C-cex or Forex?

C-cex and Forex are same in some aspect so what? Cryptocurrency or real money?
I think investing in electronic money is easier than investing in Forex. It is a market that needs a broad knowledge of politics and economics. If we do not master it, we will die as soon as we start investing.
You do not invest in Forex per se, you actually tend to trade the fluctuations most of the time, sure, your act of trading may be considered as an investment or possibly an activity for you to make profit, but it is just that.

The same principle of trading Forex, applies to the same principle when it comes to trading cryptocurrency and the only difference here is that cryptocurrency market is not a regulated market and it is still new, but whether you like it or not, the potentials are enormous.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping strategy on: September 11, 2018, 01:19:20 PM
I've tried the BB and RSI and basically in the end, its not profitable because from time to time the trends change and it won't work long term. I've tried it on Stocks, Forex, Bitcoin and it will never consistantly profitable.

Best way to scalp?

On Bitmex wait until there is like a 20-30 Million liquidation and take the reverse trade. Basically today it wouldn't of worked because the dump was huge but on a regular range trading day whenever there is a 1M candle with $10+ Million in liquidations, usually taking the reverse with a tight stop works. Because people get liquidated and profits get taken and its usually reversal time.

Very good risk reward but the issue is usually with the Bitmex engine being laggy and difficult to get a trade to register. So it won't always work.

The last huge drop is so juicy

been struggle to get a positions but when a second wave comes its a wow..

this bitmex really is tricky thing, sometimes I am putting a bait for a position but closely watching out and keeping a stop always

They are doing rekts for sure, but don't leave things unattended

Marginal trading! I really wonder why a lot of people fancy this. Anyway, different strokes for different folks. As much as marginal trading can come with profit, it can also come with a huge loss as well and that sure depends on how your level of risk can take you which means at the least, you need to always take extra precautions. As long as you do not leave things unattended and you are at least able to do things right, i do not see any reason not to get the best from it.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: important point on: September 11, 2018, 12:48:18 PM
I am sure if the government accepts bitcoin then its people will be far prosperous and sufficiently. The countries are liable to increase per capita income. In addition, transactions in the country also become easier, cheaper and faster.
Government accepting bitcoin would positively change much but sure, for the citizens who may actually see a lot of ways to derive great opportunities from it, it would really help them. I see it as just a way of exposing the world or the citizens into making use of it and considered legal by the government.

As it is, a lot of people who are trying to find different means of doing things for them-selves within the space are doing well for themselves, so having something like that on a large scale, can really help in a lot of ways.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: September 10, 2018, 10:34:07 AM
Gambling is definitely a form of entertainment for me, for instance playing Multi-Wheel Roulette Gold puts me in a good mood whenever I'm playing especially if I'm winning big bucks!
Good thing you see it as a form of entertainment, and I hope you are being truthful to yourself. It is normal to feel good when you win big from gambling, no doubt, but what is important is to never forget that as much as you might want to win big even with the entertainment which is something I feel is a cover-up for most people, forgetting that aspect where gambling can make you lose a lot and the chances are high can make you make regrettable decisions.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: September 10, 2018, 09:56:32 AM
If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?
I am sure the cryptocurrency will continue to grow and many countries will be encouraged to create their own digital currency. In this age of digital need a new technology is needed to overcome economic problems. This technology requires a regulation so that it can be accepted by the government and the community, so that no party feels disadvantaged.
There is no doubt that cryptocurrency will be able to assist in some certain problems when it comes to socio economics, but the way a lot of people are putting it, crypto is not a magic wand that you just put out there to completely solve socio economic problems as government of each country will still have a lot of part to play in that aspect of socio economic problem.

The blockchain technology itself is a great one, but it depends on how the government is going to be utilizing it either for the benefit of the country or just for themselves.
551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you start trading? on: September 10, 2018, 07:56:52 AM
For the new traders and I,  it's important to start with learning all you can about the subject of trading generally,  familiarise yourself either trading processes and learn about cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular.  Nice you are ready,  start trading what you can afford to lose first and then you will have experience to trade big in the future!
Yea. Its easy to say like that, but in reality I doubt you are even following whatever you said this time. Most likely you just lose and can't move on with your losses, familiarize yourself on trading is fine but if you can't thinking out of the box and just following the general ideas you would probably lose more.

agree with it, I in trading it is normal to have losses because not in anytime you can make profit. the question is how to handle emotion base in times of losses, learning trading maybe not predictable yet can prevent losses Cheesy thank guys for sharing your thoughts

handling emotion is one of the difficult things especially if we are losses, but if we can say to ourselves that losing the money is part of trading, and we are trying to accept our losses, I am sure that soon we can easy to handle the loss. it cannot be done in one night, but it needs time before we can realize that behind of the loss, we have a chance to recover the money and back to make a profit. doing trading means we need to accept that we have two option in trading which makes a profit and get the loss. once you understand this, you can handle your emotion.
Learning is always important when it comes to trading and I have never seen anyone skipping that part that would not have problem and issues eventually. Trading is fun and interesting if you have the necessary skills to make good trade but it is just a pity that instead of doing it right, so many people are so focused on the aspect of making money so fast that they just discard quickly the aspect of learning perfectly well and practicing to some extent before even going in big.
552  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: September 08, 2018, 12:58:59 PM
Hey dudes hope you are well. I sell a lot of things on Craigslist. I am now planning on putting a couple things up and saying I accept btc or eth along with the greenback. Wondering if you guys have tried this. I
That is a good move, accepting bitcoin, Ethereum or other altcoins on your Craiglist. Maybe it can bring you more customers, because there are many people out there that have cryptocurrency and once they saw your Craigslist, they will attracted. Bitcoin or crypto as the payment for online shops is popular these days though.
It is surely a good one but at the same time, the whole thing can be frustrating because some who may be potential customers may not want to take the pain to want to know how they can even lay their hands on bitcoin and even if you tell them, they are too lazy to go ahead, thinking it is way too complex for them.

It is a good idea but like someone mentioned, it is better to make the payment method flexible enough to cut across everyone so you do not end up limiting yourself from a huge sale.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 06, 2018, 04:43:02 PM
I doubt its about money to chris bosh, dude is a coder himself and has insane amount of investments in startups at silicon valley and made insane returns on those investments, so he is set for life about the money deal and according to

554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always keep fiat while holding on: September 06, 2018, 03:54:47 PM
Investors are not traders.
An investor is one who would buy and Hodl till it rises significantly. But a trader is constantly looking for ways to make profits.
It is convenient to have fiat often, especially if cryptocurrencies is your main income source.
There are two kind of traders. Long-term traders ans short-term traders. The formers tend to wait until a coin pumps so he can have a huge profits. That action can be achieved through many years, that is why it is called long-term trading. On the other hand, short-term traders always look at the market and see if any coin is suitable for him to trade. I believe it is a hard strategy. But there are many experienced people who managed to succeed and have a good profit.
Succeeding with a short term trade is all about how your strategy works out for you most of the time, it is not a hard thing to achieve as long as any wannabe trader is ready to learn and practice to get it right from the start.

There would always be some little mistakes over time, but those mistakes are learned from as you proceed which is why a lot of people keep saying never to try with real money. As long as what you have as a strategy is working for you either as a long term trader or short term trader, then you stick with it.
555  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: September 06, 2018, 11:41:18 AM
Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.
I will said we should not be discouraging and we are to keep hope and faith with cryptocurrencies in other to be able to be part of the futures of blockchain technology. I think in few years to come when every thing is well developed we would have a very good story to tell.
Disheartening is actually for those who really have none or little understanding of the market. If you know how the market is, the functions, the long term prospects and all that makes it what it is, then I really do not see how anyone is going to be discouraged for a value of something going down.

This is what really amuses me most of the time, since this should be a time anyone should be happy they can buy at a lower price to hold for the future.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: September 06, 2018, 10:52:14 AM
I would not consider myself to be shy, but I prefer playing on my own and online.  It could be because the closest live casino to me is a bit of a drive.  I do enjoy poker home games.  Find your own niche and enjoy your gambling!  Its supposed to be a pleasure, not to make a living from.
Smart move mate! Smart move!! If a lot of people can think this way, I am sure we would be able to have more of sane gamblers than insane gamblers as time goes on. What a lot of people are looking forward to from gambling these days is to be able to make substantial income from it, which is something that is never going to be possible.

However, for those who see it as just a way to while away time and have some little fun, it should not be a problem, and I really do not see any reason why anyone should be shy when it comes to gambling.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose a good ICO? on: September 06, 2018, 10:21:43 AM
everyone has their own criteria for choosing an ico. in choosing an ico, it's important to see the whitepaper first because we can know a lot of information about the project inside. besides, a good project will also be handles by a good team. a good team will be a positive value for investors in choosing an ico.
The major criteria for choosing a good ICO is simply to check if there is an available product before even deciding to go further. The products relevance, the importance to the space and users will all determine if there would be real demand for it or not in the long run. A lot of projects and team members are fond of giving promises that are empty and you do not want to end up catching yourself with such projects.

After this, know a lot you need to know about the team as these are the people you are banking your investment on whether you like it or not and you really want to weigh their competence, skills and past experiences when it comes to doing a great job eventually.
558  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will become of Bitcoin if the price keeps falling? on: September 06, 2018, 09:50:41 AM
What will become of Bitcoin if the price keeps falling?
Prices went down from the start of this year: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/bitcoin

I think it doesn't matter if the price decline continues, the price is indeed fluctuating, the increase will also occur and I don't think panic if this decline continues, even a good situation to buy coins at low prices and start long-term investment to wait until the increase occurs
One thing with the market is that it cannot obviously continue to be in one direction all through without at least changing direction at some point.

Downtrends are normal in a market and if there is even a huge downtrend, as long as the market is still active and useful, there would still be a point in time when the whole dump thing ends up subsiding and the market will consolidate before picking back up again. So, at the short term, if the price keeps falling, it just gets more interesting to pick at a lower price and gain a lot from it in the long run.

560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 20k again on: September 05, 2018, 12:01:34 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are completely unpredictable to one extent either bitcoin may reach 20 k or else it may cross 20 k in this year but see at present market we can expect bitcoin  to touch previous all-time high prices may take time
Right! This is a very unpredictable market and what most people are just doing is to assume for the future which to me is a whole lot unrealistic. I really do not care how high bitcoin goes, I only care much about what the trend shows me.

I personally would not be too hopeful even if I am to assume that bitcoin would reach as high as $20k, but like I said, I would rather just stick with trends and let time make its own decision than trying to have some unnecessary assumptions that would not change anything in the future anyway.
