541  Economy / Economics / Re: FED Chairmain compares Bitcoin to Gold on: July 16, 2019, 02:33:45 AM
I don't think it is proper to compare Bitcoin with Gold. The FED chairman just appeared uninformed or even totally ignorant about Bitcoin when he did that. Bitcoin could be compared to US dollar. That would be a better comparison because both are currencies, the other fiat, the other digital or cryptocurrency. But gold? Bitcoin, in the first place, is not something that is just hidden for no other sake but value appreciation. Bitcoin is meant to be spent as a money.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: July 16, 2019, 01:53:50 AM
Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?

Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.

I usually choose among the top 100. But for sure, there are also other hot cryptocurrencies outside 100. I have a handful of these coins. I have Eidoo (EDO), for example. I also have NEXT. Bancor (BNT) is also one very trusted project that is outside the top 100. These are not fresh currencies though. The freshest among them is NEXT. But I have high hopes in all of them.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: July 15, 2019, 02:55:48 AM
In the old days, it was only pizza that Bitcoin could buy. But right now, I can buy a whole meal with my Bitcoin. I can buy apparels with it as well. The downside of it is that Bitcoin is usually accepted through online shops, at least here in my place. I seldom shop online because I cannot see the fit as well as the quality of the apparels that I want to buy. But it is a good start.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: July 15, 2019, 01:58:06 AM
From the bottom of my heart, I am very sorry for what you and your entire family have gone through. But it seems the problem is really your brother. This world is replete of temptation, on the part of your brother, he yielded to the temptation of easy money. Perhaps he thought that such easy money would finally uplift your condition. But he was wrong. It was a false hope. Success or, on your part, the release from problems, should not be entrusted to a roll of a dice.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: July 14, 2019, 09:32:03 AM
I wonder what those gray-colored areas signify. Perhaps they are countries where cryptocurrency is neither legal nor illegal, or unheard of. Anyway, we can easily understand the implication of the picture. The green-colored part of the map is very dominating. That means cryptocurrency is very much vibrant in the world, with majority of the countries already accepting it. Only so few remain adamant against it.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: July 14, 2019, 03:17:08 AM
Libra is definitely a part of the future that everyone wants. But Libra is not the future that everyone wants. Libra is joining the future to be exact. The future is cryptocurrency and blockchain. The future is peer-to-peer transactions in commerce. The future is about the replacement of paper bills and physical coins with digital money. That is what Libra learned from Bitcoin, above all.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we ever have altcoin season again. on: July 14, 2019, 02:35:13 AM
since the beginning of this year. bitcoin dominance has tremendously affected the altcoin markets. when bitcoins raises, altcoin move very slowly but when it goes down. altcoins are heavily affected.  Are we going to see any major bull market for altcoin again. we are already in the third quarter of the year. i am concerned because i strongly believed in altcoins more than bitcoin.

I wonder why you believe in altcoins more than Bitcoin. That is something weird. Many people are your complete opposite. They believe only in Bitcoin and not in altcoins. I believe in both, of course not in each and every altcoin out there, only those that are really offering advance blockchain products. Anyway, be patient, altcoin pump is going to happen 100 percent. I am sure of that. It's just that it seldom happens alongside Bitcoin pump.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto industry manipulated? How bad is it? on: July 14, 2019, 01:53:58 AM
Blockchain24.co have posted an interview with Joshua Frank, the TIE’s CEO, about cryptocurrency manipulations. TIE is monitoring the case of fake trading volumes, and according to Frank, this is a very common practice for many exchanges. He also lists many other cases of frauds in crypto industry.
Looks like condition of out industry is not in the best shape.

Manipulation is existent to a certain extent. Even the value of Bitcoin is susceptible to manipulation given the fact that there are very rich investors. They could easily affect the price with their billions, even millions. However, we cannot say that they are really the one who dictates the whole market. Volumes are also faked in some crypto exchanges. But steps are already done to iron that out.

550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collecting multiple ERC20 tokens. Good luck! on: July 13, 2019, 02:42:40 AM
My friend, first of all, I would like to congratulate you for acquiring all those tokens. You've got a really long list out there. That is a reflection of how much effort you exerted in having all of those. Not to mention that there are campaigns from which you did not get anything at all.

But here is my advice, sell the majority of them. For sure, the prices of more than half of these tokens will plummet. I have been observing the lives of so many altcoins. A lot of them have since died. And a great many of them have acquired 0 volumes and are being kicked out from the poor exchange in which they are listed. Do an assessment and leave to your wallet only those that are exceptional.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you bought coins in the bear trend and what coins are that on: July 13, 2019, 02:00:51 AM
If you bought top altcoins or good altcoins that has a potential in the market last March and April you are 30 to 50 % profit, now that we are in the bull period, what coins did you bought when the market is in the bear period.

I added a little amount of BTC in my portfolio. Just a little though. It is also my strategy recently to buy a little amount of Bitcoin from my monthly savings. This will hopefully add up and make a huge treasure in the years to come. As to altcoins, I already have a good number of them. I have ETH, XMR, CRPT, Waves, and several more. Those coins are for long-term hodling.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: July 13, 2019, 01:33:23 AM
cryptocurrency market started to grow day after day, and everyone now started to own coins, so the question now which come to all the coin's holders , how to protect your digital coin from losing, stealing, hacking, etc ?

There are many options. Of course, the best thing to do with your coins is to store them in a cold wallet. That is going to be relatively secured from possible hacks and all. And then keep your private keys, pins, and seeds in a very safe place. As much as possible write them down on a piece of paper and then keep them away from anybody except yourself.
553  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [DAILY FREE RAFFLE] 314th JUST BECAUSE I AM STILL IN A GOOD MOOD FREE BITCOIN on: July 12, 2019, 12:50:43 PM
Anybody here want to try and sweep two paper wallets with over 0.02btc? All free!

I have had it online for over two years and nobody has succeeded!

The public and private keys are all exposed....so sweep away and try to get that juicy BTC that is waiting for you.  Wink

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3315347.msg51282487#msg51282487

How I wish I could try. But if all those who attempted to sweep in those two years and more failed, I don't think someone like me could possibly do it.  Grin

555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or BCC who whil be best? on: July 12, 2019, 10:05:22 AM
I want to discuss about these two giants, how your analysis of the ETH after the emergence of the BCC is a real rival, but I see https://myetherwallet.com no less great, fast and cheap deals.

Can BCC beat this?

Bitcoin Cash is no match for Ethereum to be honest. There are only two thing that keep it alive despite it being a mere shitcoin: the name Bitcoin in it despite it not really Bitcoin but a lowly altcoin and the rich personalities involved behind it. If you look for something innovative, unique, and disrupting in Bitcoin Cash, you will find none. But the Bitcoin Cash team will not allow it to simply die. The sad thing though is that they want to push it higher while bad-mouthing the real Bitcoin.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: July 12, 2019, 08:56:26 AM
Of course, it will. There is no arguing on this. Cryptocurrency is going to be the future of commerce. Transactions in the future is going to be made on the basis of cryptocurrency. As a matter of fact, the steps made even by banks and huge companies such as Facebook and its partners to adapt to the crypto environment we have today is a testament that crypto is simply unstoppable.

Hello bountyportals!

I am a participant of the signature campaign of IOVO, line number 127 in the spreadsheet.

I noticed that I was not given stakes in the 6th week (29/11-5/12) even though I exceeded the 15 posts requirement of that said week.

Please take a look at it and update the spreadsheet accordingly.

Many thanks!

Regards!

Periodik

I am posting this once again because a month has already passed and nothing has changed yet in the spreadsheet. There was no response either.

Please take time to attend to it!

Thanks!
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 13, 2019, 05:51:10 AM
Trading only feels good if and when the market is also positively performing. Without which, trading is going to be a lot riskier. There is more probability that you will lose instead of gaining. The prices are getting red after red after red. Only those coins which have very strong signals and announcements are going to make it to a little green. Otherwise, it will also be flowing downward together with the rest. Well, the expert traders can still make something out of a bad market. But the rest, they better stay out of trading if they are not really confident of their skills.
