5401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still thinks that crypto is manipulation free? on: June 26, 2021, 11:44:15 AM
It's not the right time to start buying crypto coins right now because the next chapter for crypto with be filled with lots of bad news just to pull crypto value down and down so that they can buy for way cheaper price, who are they anyways? We'll figure that out yourself, bear market is 💯 real and it's coming, be prepared for more bad news

The bad news won't last forever as this isn't the first time we're experiencing such turn out of event in the crypto space. Time will heal the wounds as bullish news will come before the year ending and we'll begin to see the market recovering. Time right now is to buy more and not to step back, the market is at great discount and the sooner you realize that, the best it'll be for your securing of valuable project at discount price.

There's no doubt the Market is been manipulated but don't let them get to you. They can manipulate those that are willing to lose their positions to some unjust fuds that aren't worth listening to. Everything will be back to normal very soon. We just have to be patience and wait unto the market for it's corrections to reach the buttom and bounce right back up.
5402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk made tweet about animal coin again. Time to buy doge and Shiba Inu? on: June 26, 2021, 11:37:44 AM
You have to think twice, or thrice before you enter to an altcoin that is considered a joke by many.

Should my investment now be considered a collective thing? Aren't we supposed to think individually and make our investment based on our own research. Well if everybody is calling it a joke and I'm not it's good for me and I won't mind putting in some funds that shouldn't increase my thinking incase it was to be a wrong move.

My investment aren't based on some twitter tweet but I believe to have done some findings myself and taken it upon myself to risk investing in the memes. Shibaswap is coming and it's a matter of timing, they're just waiting to get the timing right and not release a platform in a market that isn't favorable for growth. Not even bitcoin is increasing so why do you think any other projects will do better, better they wait until the storm is over to release the swap.
5403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Given some bitcoin for no reason - too good to be true? +, Mycelium question. on: June 24, 2021, 04:52:18 AM
And I suspect they are still earning from it.

I bet more would have fallen to the bait had the deposit required been lowered down to much smaller amounts such 0.0001BTC or even 0.00005BTC. OP could have been one of them.

They obviously are if not the scam would had stopped since. No scammer would engage themselves in unprofitable scam. Every day, we have newbies coming into the industry in their numbers and without proper guidances they could easily fall victim to this type of scam due to greed she something ignorance.

When you think about it, if the required deposit are that small many won't bother trying out the service, the Human race terms to believe something more when the risk is very high. Everybody is mostly interested in a get rich quick scheme which is what they're mistaking the cryptocurency for and that's why they're coming in during every bull market as they expect to make quick profit and move on.
5404  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i want to buy Bitcoin with real money, plz i need help on: June 24, 2021, 04:35:23 AM
Replying to choice of topic title.

I think the first help you need is to understand what Bitcoin actually is and when you do you'll understand it's more of the real money them the fiats you're speaking of and calling it real. You choice of topic title seems to me that you don't see Bitcoin as real currency which is a very wrong way to start your journey in the industry.

First you have to believe in what you're investing in before putting in money as there'll be trying times and if you don't believe, you'll most likely fall victim to fud. After understanding what bit oin is then you can proceed to purchase some with any of the options posted above, choice that which best suit you
5405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2021, 11:46:13 AM
What's the update surrounding the Chelsea FC transfer window, rumors has it that they're going after a sticker this transfer window which is no surprise since their previous strikers haven't been doing well. I don't think any striker would reject the interest unless they have unfinished business in their present club.

Chelsea been able to sign a complete striker will surely increase their chance of winning the premier league next season, which among the names that have pop up so far would be a great fit in that position, I have my vote for Kane as he has all the experience and won't cost Chelsea as much as others they're chasing, maybe lukaku could do the job too but Kane has proven countless amount of time he's capable of scoring in the premier league
5406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Discussion] How to work of Signature Camping is performed.? on: June 19, 2021, 11:37:40 AM
From my understanding of the OP's post is seems he/she is picking interest in participating in signature campaign but doesn't know how to put in the words as probably English isn't the first language. Although this forum isn't meant for signature promotions still to give you some insight on how it works, basically you just have to wear the ad of the project you're interested in and counting contributing to the forum as you usually do.

The only good thing been in a campaign brings is that you get pay for the posts you make unlike before when your posting doesn't results in monetary rewards. Don't get carried away though as this forum is far more than signature campaign atleast that what I have known it to be but since I wasn't around for sometime, maybe something have changed.
5407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Differences between anonymity & privacy on: June 19, 2021, 11:27:48 AM
From my understanding of your thread, one can have privacy while not be anonymous and that's the current state of bitcoin if use as it was intended without some additional security measures like the mixers.

The bitcoin ecosystem using a public blockchain which means all out transaction are open for the public for viewing provided those seeking for this information has the right idea on how to go about it, so technically Bitcoin isn't as secure as we think it's, is that the information you're trying to pass across?.

This could just be my opinion but I believe what majority are after is just privacy and not more of anonymity and this must have been put under consideration before Bitcoin was created to operate this way. I'm ok with you knowing funds are moving around but not knowing what I'm using it for or who's moving it is all that matters.
5408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are all the golden rules of bitcoin predicting? on: June 18, 2021, 06:11:15 PM
The Golden rule is 'Don't bet against Bitcoin'. You could have short term success but that will end in tear if you continue betting against it. Many in the past has already regretted betting against Bitcoin and more in the present and future will regret too. Bitcoin is more than just an asset or currency, it's a movement against the Fist that the government has soiled.

The whole buy the hype strategy isn't new, it has been exiting from the onset, don't get too carried away by the YouTubers prediction, the hand writing was written all over the wall already. Many predicted a crash on the SNL show as the hype before the show took all the momentum out of the market.
5409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do we do when a campaign is discovered to be a fraud on: June 18, 2021, 05:43:24 PM
Before we go on start tagging users we see with a high rank a reputed member, you first have to understand what the world reputed means, a simple definition will have, well known and a good reputation in them. Now go back and look at the profile promoting the project you mentioned, are those well known members of this forum or have good reputation, the answer is no therefore you can't call them reputed members.

In other news, that the said reputed members are promoting a project doesn't make it legit and not a scam. Money can change individuals, don't be surprised if tomorrow you see well know members joining a particular campaign that is well known to be scammy.

During the yobit sega we saw well known members joining and promoting the campaign even after all we know about yobit exchange and their scammy ways of operations and treating their customers.

Don't forget Wolves are a tough team.
As a Chelsea fan I am worried about every game.   Smiley
Lol, you have every reason to be worried but your worrisome days would be over soon as Tuchel is here to write his record. Wolves are in bad shape at the moment due to injury to key players I'm full of confidence in this one.

And not just that but chelsea are capable of winning wolves any day. They have the squad but just that the manager Lampard was killing the team, he idea wasn't perfect for the squard and the board has given him enough time to write his wrong but it wasn't just working for him.

Sad his legendary status got dragged into him getting a job he wasn't ready for yet. Hopefully he goes to a smaller team, learns how to become a better coach and come back to chelsea in the future as a better coach. He's still new to the game and with time he'll better himself.
5411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Non-custodial Bitcoin wallet supporting debit card on: January 23, 2021, 07:35:45 AM
Hi guys,

I have a friend residing in Austria, he is having an interest in purchasing some good amount of Bitcoin with his debit card, but he never wanted to undergo any KYC process.

Is there any non-custodial Bitcoin wallets (not exchange) that supports buying Bitcoin with debit cards?

Please I need your suggestions,
5412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 12, 2021, 01:43:13 PM
I stumbled across an article where the gambling advertising did have some stuffed animals in their advertisements. Now the complaint was made and it was determined that usage of advertisement like this actually causes people under 18 to get engaged with such things which can cause further problems.

Must of this platforms has professional that give them advice on certain issues and I'm sure they did on this one and the stunt behind it was to create an awareness of their platform. Like they say, no marketing is bad publicity. The idea is to get everyone taking about your services and this can be achieve both with a good reputation or complicated one.

Glad the authority took down the advertisment as it wasn't right. You don't used stuff animal to target adulthood so obviously they had the intention of causing some outburst and not target underage users too. But just want their platform to be in the mouth of the media to create awareness.
5413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 12, 2021, 01:32:54 PM
Daniel Podence and Raul Jimenez are injured at Wolves. Calvert-Lewin is injured at Everton side and he is too important for his team. He scored 11 goals in 16 matches in the league. Everton will feel his absence and it will affect their attacking side for sure. I think Wolves can benefit from the situation and get a win.

Even though Calvert was fit that doesn't means everton would had been able to defeat wolves. Either they draw or wolves win but Calvert might get a goal for himself. Everton doesn't have it in them to defeat wolves. Wolves plays a stubborn type of football as they bring the game to you and not just setback and watch you play them.

Manchester United has the opportunity to go top of the league as they play burnley today, that something I never thought I would had  said at the beginning of the season but the is the premier and everything is possible here. United should better seize this opportunity as it might be their last to top the league.
5414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 23, 2020, 07:43:28 AM
Arteta last chance to prove his worth is on boxing day against chelsea. If anything goes wrong he's gone

And do you think he can do anything against a side that has it all to lose if they lose the match against arsenal. Lampard would want to end this year in a winning way therefore arsenal shouldn't expect chelsea to be gentle. Lampard is also facing some backlash after his side aren't doing so well against top clubs. They just got back to winning ways and I'm sure the idea would be to end the year with a win so the pressure will subside.

Arteta inexperienced is what is making him not to perform well at arsenal. The art at which the premier league clubs are hiring inexperienced coaches is becoming alarming. Just because they were former players doesn't qualify them to become the coach especially when the team is a top one that need trophy.
5415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 13, 2020, 11:34:51 AM
Manchester United 0 -0 Manchester City

Coaches (Pep and Solskajer) did not show their ambition to win and get all 3 points. It is a very boring match and Manchester United's players celebrated their 1 point as they just won a Premier League. What a shame for this generation of Man Utd players and his coach.

It was a boring match and didn't have the feeling of a derby match, truly none of the squad showed full commitment in winning the game. I thought manchester city had it all to win but their sloppy play cause them 2 points. United have been performing badly of recent and their demotion to the europa league is evidence of that.

Chelsea on the other hand play brilliantly but they were just unlucky as they hit the posts in multiple accounts. They have been on an amazing run before they lost yesterday but hopefully they'll bounce back and maybe compete for the title.
5416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1x2 vs the correct score bets on: December 06, 2020, 06:49:33 AM
Mostly I bet on a football match that I will watch later lively on tv. Since my main purpose on gambling is for entertainment, I find it more entertaining to have a bet on a football match that I watch. By having a bet on 1x2, I can still enjoy the match. Correct score will just make me can’t enjoy the match. Because my focus is how many goal left until I can win the bet.
Most gamblers finds it difficult to place bet with correct score prediction and its hardly to play, there are some simple prediction option that at least gives out outcomes when placed successfully, over/under is a good option to consider when targeting winning in your bets slip.
5417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pros and Cons, off using Paypal’s Service to Buy Cryptocurrencies. on: November 19, 2020, 05:02:40 PM
If you took an article and copy paste all of article, you must put word by word in quote brackets. If you don't do this, your topic can be considered as Verbatim plagiarism.

I think plagiarism is clearly defined as coping someone else's work without giving credit to the original works. While I'm not against your interest in my thread but don't think any of what you have stated is worth given attention since I give clear credit to the main source. I saw a thread online and decided to passed the information to the community. Initially I would had just posted a link but since the community don't advice that but to do some little contribute to the topic that's why I posted it this way.

I research on what you're accusing me of which is 'Verbatim plagiarism' and it says,
Quote
You commit verbatim plagiarism when you directly copy text from a source and paste it into your own document without attribution. If the structure and the majority of the words are the same as in the original, then it is verbatim plagiarism, even if you delete or change a couple of words here and there.
Source:
the key word there is without attributes but if you look at my thread I give attributes fully I don't think I'm quilty of whatever you're accusing me of.  I see you get your merit and pleasure mostly by attacking people on the forum but that's no way to go instead try to contribute more to discuss like adding some pros and cons to this topic above to enlighten those that'll be interested in reading.
5418  Other / Beginners & Help / Pros and Cons, off using Paypal’s Service to Buy Cryptocurrencies. on: November 18, 2020, 07:10:09 AM
I stubble upon an article as I was researching on the significant of paypal getting involved with the cryptocurrencies industry. So thought of sharing them with you and hopefully if you (the readers) have addition points you can contribute to the thread.

The article says; There are many advantages to use PayPal. It’s a payment giant, with 26 million merchants and 325 million active account holders worldwide. This would be a significant move for both Paypal and cryptocurrency traders and might drive the mass adoption of crypto payment. However, how’s this cryptocurrency service work?

According to Paypal’s official news, they will initially feature Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, directly within the PayPal digital wallet. And the service is enabled in the U.S. through a partnership with Paxos Trust Company, a custody provider of cryptocurrency products and services.

Here are the pros and cons to this;

1. Custodial vs Non-Custodial
So we can regard Paypal’s cryptocurrency service the same as other custodial wallets in the present crypto market. Using a custodial wallet means your private key is stored by a third party. You don’t have full control over your funds. If your wallet gets hacked, your coins may go missing.  A negative example of custody is the recent OKEx incident. Few weeks back, OKEx’s founder was taken away by the police. Since he’s the person who controls the private key, now all the OKEx users are not able to withdraw their cryptocurrencies from their accounts. Taking account of this, some in the crypto community have expressed their rejection of this custodial feature by Paypal on social media, as they think it a highly centralized and inflexible service. And cryptocurrency is based on blockchain technology and all about decentralization. There are 3 types of crypto wallets - software crypto wallet, hardware crypto wallet, and crypto wallet service that allows users to store their cryptocurrencies by blockchain private keys.

How to know a wallet is custodial or non-custodial?
Search “wallet” on dapp.com (https://www.dapp.com/search_product/?keyword=wallet), then you will see there is a custodial and non-custodial tag put on each wallet.

And those wallets with a “buy crypto” tag means you can trade cryptocurrencies directly inside the wallet. (Playlist - Wallet with Built-in Token Swap). Wallets with “Dapp Browser” tag means besides storing cryptocurrencies, you can also use dapps inside these wallets.  Among all the wallets, the safest type is the hardware wallet, such as Ledger, one of the top crypto wallets that have passed the security audit. It double protects your crypto assets as you need to obtain both the hardware and passcode to operate.

2. Buy, Stay and Sell. No Transfer, No Trading.
If you want to use PayPal as your fiat entrance to crypto and then do crypto trading to gain profits, just forget it. PayPal is not the way that can make this come true. Because all cryptocurrencies on the PayPal network must stay there, you can’t withdraw or transfer, but only buy it by fiat and sell it for fiat. If you want to buy crypto by fiat and transfer to another account as a way of payment, no, you can’t do this either. Buy, stay and sell, that’s all.

3. PayPal Accounts Shut Down
Another problem is the users’ complaints about their PayPal accounts being shut down from time to time. These are some of the comments Paypal users posted on Twitter. As we’ve mentioned before, it’s a centralized platform, which means it has full control of your personal account. Unlike decentralized projects, it doesn’t need to launch a community vote to shut down your account.

All in all, with all these pros and cons, will you use Paypal to buy, hold, or sell cryptocurrencies? Tell us in the comments.

My personal thoughts are, the only pros of this paypal service is it'll increase the mainstream of bitcoin and bring about global usage and nothing more.

Official source.

Note: I did some adjustments to make the article to be easily readable and straight to the point.
5419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 12, 2020, 10:21:33 PM
Bitcoin bull run has a sad occurrence that sees alts dumping in price which leads to many noobs panic selling their bags to the whales and smarter investors who knows how the market operates. While many will be advising you to dump your coins, do know they're those waiting patiently to steal those bags off you as there's another occurrence that not many tends to highlight, which is the fact that alts bounced back after the bitcoin rally are over. Don't be that user that'll regret selling their bags during the rough times instead hold unto your investment. You holding unto your investments has to have some very strong backing like the project has to be really worth it and not the hyped shitcoins getting listed on all exchanges this days. Do your due diligence and get the coins now that they're cheap because a bounce will be coming immediately bitcoin rally is paused.
5420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What haven't most people not heard about that can help them make money? on: November 06, 2020, 05:41:55 AM
Have you tried observing the volume of the tokens getting pumped daily they're in their minimum as just few thousands can pump them over 100% already before others fomo in and pump them higher. Mostly these projects are getting attention as a result of few whales trying to create FOMO so new Investors will buy into the project meanwhile they're secreting dumping their bags on the market. There's no bot that can help you with that at the moment and if there was to be a bot it would be highly vulnerable to manipulation as a fake pump can make the bot buy into a project which will be dump seconds after.
