4781  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 08, 2023, 12:55:28 PM
It is never advisable to use mine one can't afford to lose to gamble and I really can't tell if tye money used was for gambling purpose alone because we've heard cases of people who have lost very huge sum of money just in gambling and it never moved them and maybe that might be the case with this user that lost.
And this very situation has thought me something that nothing is certain in gambling and anything can happen and I guess tye gambler was so over certain of what he wanted to play and finally got disappointed at the end.
This is a wake up call to gamblers never to use money they can't afford to lose and that anything can happen at anytime
4782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of CEX and no privacy world, will you still become an anonymous? on: February 06, 2023, 05:48:16 AM
So what's your choice? are you okay to give your KYC and trust to centralized exchange where they will offer insurance, protect from mistakenly transaction, transparent and you have a right to report to the court when the exchange done wrong. Or you will still become your own bank and privacy oriented, even it will make you harder to enjoy 100% anonymity from future no privacy world? Smiley

I wouldn't be comfortable doing it even though the centralized exchanges becomes the most trusted things in the world (which is impossible by the way). All what you stated will be passed into law by some law markers and they can also cancel or modify them in the future while you won't have a say/voice on them.
I personally think there can't be any solution better than been incharge of your own security. Haven't we trusted centralized system for centuries now and yet the results has always been the same. They haven't been competent in safeguarding our privacy and nothing can change about that.
Infact the centralized exchanges haven't successfully protected themselves so how then can they protect sensitive information that are been entrusted.into their hands.
4783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members here on: February 06, 2023, 05:30:35 AM
I understand how it's when trying to spread the max adoption of bitcoin without being a partaker of it or even having at least some fractions of bitcoin. Sometimes last year, which was 29th November 2022, I tried asking around the forum on the best way to teach and reach out to people about bitcoin without going through face to face discussion with them. Although, I made mention of not holding any bitcoin then, along the line majority of comments and reply on the thread I created advised me to buy and hold bitcoin, which for me it will sets as an a good example before I could possibly talk to people about bitcoin.

Good first step as it didn't make any sense that you're a participate of this forum and yet you don't own any Bitcoin yourself. Now that you own some even though they aren't much but you would still be eligible to receive the benefits that comes from holding. I noticed you made your purchase from a centralized exchange, I would like to advise you to take them off that exchange to store in your personal wallet.
This purchase that you just made will encourage you to purchased more in future immediately the money are available and that's why I personally advised anybody looking to get into the industry to start small no matter how little they're.
I hope you weren't pressured into buying as that shouldn't be the reason behind this purchase instead you should buy because you personally has taken that decision to invest in your future through securing some good amount of Bitcoin.
4784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 06, 2023, 05:16:34 AM
Because I'm still a beginner here, and still don't know much about bitcoin. So, I want to learn more about bitcoin from you guys. I want to ask you guys. Why are you interested in investing in bitcoin?

There are so many reasons why I'm now interested in Bitcoin, at first it started as I was looking for means to increase my financial capabilities and it turns out that it was possible if I Invested on Bitcoin. As I grow in the industry other reasons like its decentralization, anonymity, less time consumption and very effective means of sending borderless transaction has came me going and of course it's price appreciation is another factor.
With investing in Bitcoin, you can be assured of having a financial stress free life without having to put much time into monitoring your investment. You just buying and holding is enough for you to benefit all that the future holds for the currency.
If you invest in Bitcoin, I don't see any discouragement that can change your mind. Even though you were to lose all you have made from trading or investing in the market, other factors would keep you interested and make you want to start all over again.
4785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest fear about Bitcoin Halving. on: February 06, 2023, 05:06:18 AM
Bitcoin halving is characterised by price boom and this is a general believe of some bitcoiners and members of this forum.
My greatest fear is; what if 2024 halving comes and go without any kind of bull run? Don't you think that there will be a serious problem and panic in the industry?
This is because 2024 halving is the greatest available hype that can move the market. Besides that, I don't see any possible wave that can move Bitcoin to a new ATH. Unless US government will have to make BTC a legal tender.

In late 2017 or about early 2018, Bitcoin had a massive spike in price and was trading for a record price of $20k. Then It was the first time Bitcoin was getting to that milestone and shortly after the bear market came alone to drive the price down to about $3k-$4k. After this massive decrease in price, many people thought Bitcoin would never go that high again but it did in 2021 as Bitcoin crossed the previous all time high and set a new one.
Now when that new high of about $69k was reached, many didn't believe that was the top as they expected similar spike in price as it did in the previous bull cycle but it didn't happened and many people were caught off guard. I just told this story so you know Bitcoin has its own well of operation and doesn't follow any prediction.
2024 might come and it'll be a slow year all through most of the year then  close to the ending, suddenly the volumes starts spiking up and Bitcoin crosses a new all time high that same year or the very next year 2025 which is usually the time Bitcoin moons.
4786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 05, 2023, 11:41:16 AM
I really don't think I will leave my bets to an artificial intelligence to do my sourcing for me and I will rather do copy gambling rather than leave my bets to artificial intelligence to do them for me .
I'm not even condemning people who do so because I believe there are people who do so and are doing relatively very well in it without much stress and hassle and people like that will tell you so much about letting artificial intelligence do the work for them. In general, I will never leave my bets to an artificial intelligence to do my sourcing for me.
4787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there gambling games/sports that suits a particular gender the more? on: February 05, 2023, 11:32:49 AM
Well I can across thread where a user was talking about miss universe bets and I think if this very bet gets listed then it should regarded as a feminine gambling because I personally don't watch those beauty pageant which I know most women watch and they should be very good with all those predictions just incase it gets listed by some providers.
Generally I don't think there are games that are associated with any gender but in my country, football is mostly associated with the men and tye moment a lady starts getting involved in gambling, it seems such Lady isn't serious with her life..
4788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what is the best way to gamble w/ BTC on online casinos? on: February 05, 2023, 11:20:52 AM
Your quest isn't really clear to me and I'm sure there are cheats in gambling but I haven't used one before or seen one who do but there are alot of Casio out there who are fair with even more results of player winnings to house winnings and people are still taking advantage of them.
And you must also know that gambling is more of a fun game rather than a very serious issue just as you're proposing and I'm sure casinos wouldn't want to see their players make series of losses sonit will be advisable that you have more of fun while gambling and always use the money you can afford to loss rather than trying to avoid losses which is impossible.
4789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rejecting odd provider's limit on: February 05, 2023, 11:02:46 AM
The truth is I personally use several and different emails for every casino that I visit except I just want to check the site out.
But I really don't think casinos actually limit the odd of players because the email is linked with several casinos, I really don't think so as it doesn't seem so.
Just as other users have said, there are several reasons why someone might get restricted outside just winnings and such might include addiction or underage and if you can agree with me that these reasons are the major reasons while a casino or a game provider might restrict a player rather than over odds or winning.
4790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 05, 2023, 10:45:08 AM
Yeah you're right mate and I really don't think that casinos really want to see their players fail because the more the players fail, the more people will turn against their company.
Most times greed is a major factor that leads to loss and if a casino can point out all of this caution to people, then I don't think they really wan to see their players fail.
Chasing after losses is another major problem and without mixing words, it's one of the major epidemic in gambling as people now gamble with money they can't afford to loss and when the losses comes, they now Begin to chase after those losses which in most cases always has a negative return.
4791  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: February 03, 2023, 11:54:11 PM
I don't see depositing on a gambling site as been hard or difficult as almost all the casinos if not want to see you make your first deposit on their platform and that's why they have to do everything they do especially the deposit bonuses just to attract potential customers and It also seems you're a representative of a private exchange or you're just running an affiliate program and this is really bad if you don't start it very clear because if anything happens then you might held responsible with series of tags on your account.

On the other hand, why use a third party for your gambling deposit when you can simply make deposits without the third party.
4792  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: February 03, 2023, 10:48:57 PM
I have no doubts that this will be a great project and I will looking forward to what you and your team have to offer and since this is an announcement, I think it should be moved to the announcement board and since it is a PvP gaming token which I no doubts that it's a great idea and since we might have to compete with fellow players, I don't think so many players would want to try this out reasons might be best known to them but I also think and hope that people turn out for this game.
I also have some few questions as to how will the bets be staked and how will it be shared if the finally winner emerges.
4793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best ways to source online gambling affiliates (New Casino) on: February 03, 2023, 10:38:36 PM
Well you shouldn't be in a haste to seek for sponsors but rather focus more on creating something more reputable and responsive casino first and working on more of advert a d reputation and I'm sure those heavy affiliate and sponsors up on seeing your nice works might start coming for you and in turn things will start falling in place
And secondly I think most of this casinos firstly has to have an active community of users on any of the social medias and havi more than one active community is an added advantage and from their they grow to the stage of making adverts.
4794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 03, 2023, 08:18:45 PM
This is one of those very difficult matches to predict and most times it because of their rankings and both of them are really great fighters and they are both raked as number one in their various countries and I'm so sure that it wouldn't be an easy fight at all.
I really don't think it will be a great fight for megsayo but rather a very difficult one and I'm sure that at his level in his career I'm sure a defeat at this point wouldn't be a nice one for him as it might seem his not ready for the tittle awaiting him and it might be withhold his promotion.
4795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 03, 2023, 07:49:15 PM
No matter how accurate the predictions of the artificial intelligence (AI) might be,I will never leave Betting of my games son by an artificial intelligence but I will rather get some scope from them and also do my own research.
But I've heard of situations where people leave their bets to artificial intelligence and are doing massively great in it. But frankly speaking, I really don't see myself in this kind of situation leaving my bettings to an AI and I will rather do copy gambling over this kind of situation.
4796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: February 03, 2023, 07:36:36 PM
This kind of bets are really not common because of some numerous facts which ranges from unstipulated judgement as judgement are mostly determine by the number of voters which can easily be influenced or affected.
And the other reason is the unpopularity of the game and it now seems it is old fashioned and if there is any casino that still runs this type of bet or ran this type of bet will do it in such a way that the casino will have a greater edge and odd of winning over the play so as not to run into so much debts.
In general, I don't think this kind of bet is still active but I also think it will be a great one if Introduced and we'll regulated.
4797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: really no kyc crypto casino on: February 03, 2023, 07:17:32 PM
I'm sure you know the repercussions of what you're intending to you just incase to finally decide to do it. And I also want you to know that there is no reason for you to shu away from KYC when you actually don't intend to indulge in any illegal act on the account, I have always been in the opinion that because should be told the truth about KYC and let them decide and we also have to understand that it is beyond the powers of the casino to decide if you'll do KYC or not and I think tye casinos are being so considerate enough as they are trying there best to balance the requirements of the security agencies and the demands of it's customers and if you'll agree with me, it's not an easy task.
4798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Charitable Casinos on: February 03, 2023, 03:54:30 PM
I haven't played in a Charity foundation before, maybe not intentionally but I see this idea and initiative as a very nice one and if the people can stay without sentiment, you'll realize that some persons are good.
This is really a welcome development in the gambling Industry and I think it will also be welcomed in my local community and this is one of the major ways gambling positively can be encouraged as well and it also seems that the gambling industry is also a very nice and considerate community of people who see the winnings of others as a general win against the casino irrespective of where the winner comes from
4799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your earliest Gambling Story? on: February 03, 2023, 12:32:09 AM
One of my most rememberable early gambling story was when I was getting into gambling newly, a friend of mine came in with a bet slip where he won over $300 converted into my lovalm currency and Immediately I got the news, I went straight to the same casino and went to do a random bet and fortunately for me , I won something very little but was the very first time in my life that I could remember that I truly wanted what was someone's own but that doesn't mean I was envious but I truly wished it was me that did the winning because I was making losses without any win not until the day I went to the same casino he staked his games and I aso won something same day.
4800  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 02, 2023, 06:47:47 AM
I don't see any harm in using just the app and personally speaking, I don't use the website of a casino for betting provided they have an active app without any hassle.
On the other hand,I really don't think that not using a website is as a result of not having a computer or the users environment and beside, the webpage of a casino can also be accessed from a browser and you can also set it to a desktop version if you really want the desktop version.
I could agree with you that the phone is small and that's a tangible excuse for not using the phone but also know that the computer is big could be another excuse for another user as well and whatever the case might be, the usage is solely dependent on the users preference.
