4641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 26, 2023, 05:21:15 AM
In Catholic, it is not considered sinful unless the indulgence can no longer be controlled. I learned a preach that says people should not be too attach  in earthly things and I believe that that involves gambling.

Also, I don't think that people can make a living through gambling alone. It can be a past time or a leisure but to make a living through it, I think it would take more dedication and addiction. Some gets rich with gambling too but it's because they can afford.

On the contrary, I've seen and I also know people who are living  very comfortable lives through gambling and I know of some one who built his life round gambling because he won over $40k when converted to my local currency, it was a very huge amount of money that got him a car, a nice place and then he began investing in casinos and was owning some physical outlets for Casinos and earning some commissions and that has been his field and I don't see him as an addicted gambler because he only plays when he see a nice game.

Just as I said before that I don't think religion has anything to do with someone wanting to gamble and I don't see anything wrong with a pastor gambling as everyone has any equal chances of winning and losing.
4642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 26, 2023, 05:11:05 AM
If I am not wrong even an offline casino introduced something called face recognition which finds behaviour of all the gamblers of table and alerts when someone is cheating like making set-up, giving hits with sign language, counting cards, etc.

Still AI technology is in the infant stage so we can't be sure about their accuracy over handling of anything related to abusing their ToS, what if there is some glitch in the system so AI blocked some valuable customers of casino which will ruin the reputation as well as revenue generation. So as of now it can be used to assist but it shouldn't be given the authority of making any decisions so the human can cross check and make final decisions.

You're right mate and since the AI are still in their infant stage, I think they shouldn't be given the singular power to make final decisions as they are expected to follow given protocols and any slightest bridge is dectated and in my view, I think AI should be used for dectation while humans do the final decion.
The gambling industry has suffered so hard in the hands of the law as a result of their platforms used for money laundering and that was one of the reasons, AI was introduced into the gambling industry and I believe it has been helpful as there have been alot of trigger point raised by AI.
4643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 26, 2023, 05:03:09 AM
At some point when we're losing, we tend to think the house is cheating us and when we win, we feel and think we are too good at playing the game and one thing I've learnt so far is to know when to stop and I always try my possible best not to get so addicted to gambling and op, what truly matters is that we figure out what truly matters and what is good for us, and it seems you are not good with playing with huge amount of money, so I will advice that stick to playing for fun with smaller amount of money as well combing in some small profits while having fun rather than wanting to go in big with expectations of coming out big which isn't guaranteed in gambling.
I don't think the house is cheating as most of the games are provably fair.
4644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting - football/soccer on: March 26, 2023, 04:54:59 AM

Nonetheless, I would personally like if you (or other people considering to open a similar thread like this one) could provide some math on their efficacy on predictions and sport-betting, as well as some small proof they have been in sport-betting as long as they claim.

Yeah I agree with you on this very one and you atleast ought to show us some lroves of the 600 thousand bets you claimed to have placed in previous times because that will go a very long way to build ones confidence and trust in you and your predictions because over the time, we've seen some persons come out with claims of longer gears in betting and predictions and just end up giving us mess, please don't get me wrong and I do appreciate your work and I will be looking out for this thread.
Op also mentioned not to get his reward from forum members and I hope that stands for long as this thread is active and not behave like others who claimed their predictions were free but ended up asking people to join some private telegram group and make some payment but I trust op will be different.
4645  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE - open and live! on: March 26, 2023, 04:19:34 AM

Thank you for confirming the SSL is valid - it could be old windows installations apparently (i've read in another forum) have some vestigial expired root authorities that never got updated. So unfortunately I can't help with that except to change certificate roots myself I suppose. I will consider it if it is shown to be an issue with Lets Encrypt.

Yes I sat on this domain for some years before starting this project.

This site launched yesterday so no there was no site available until now - perhaps I had some test themes on there which may or may not show up on waybackmachine but it has not been live until right now.

I love the way you took your time to explain this very issue to the user and I could feel some deot of sincerity but on the other hand, it seems you're the only one in charge of this stuff and you should think of getting an amazing team to help you out with some of the works because you wouldn't be able to handle all of the works yourself.
I checked through the site and it look nice and cool but I really didn't catch anything very spectacular but keep it up and I would advice that you get a manager on here to help you with marketing through signature campaign as that is one of the ways through which you can spread out in the market.
Good luck.
4646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 24, 2023, 10:24:24 PM
CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies.

Non of our concern here with fiat, CBDCs are just fiat and nothing more. If any gambling site begins to accept CBDCs which is what would later happen, they are still just accepting fiat. Our concern here is crypto, not fiat.

I agree with you and CBDC are fiat and that it shall remain and I really don't think crypto gamblers will easily accept that and beside gamblers are looking for a more decentralized way through which one could carry out their transactions without so many other third party monitoring and if you'll agree with me , you'll understand that CBDC isn't decentralized but rather centralized and I'm sure it wouldn't be accepted over here and also Nigeria introduced their digital currency (E-Naira) and it seems no one actually used that currency and I'm sure that might be the fate of CBDC.
4647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 24, 2023, 09:23:56 PM
I also agree with you and I also don't really engage in conversations that argue about the possibility of people loving a nice and decent lives through gambling because I've heard and seen people who live very comfortably off gambling which is a prove that gambling isn't really bad after all.
To me gamble isn't bad and as a Christian, I haven't read or heard of any place in the bible where is was or it's a sin to gamble and I don't think there is any law that restrains clergymen from gambling provided they do so responsibly.
I read the news and I couldn't stop laughing at the point when the pastor had to close down his church and it just made me remember a saying that if you want to see the truth character of a man, give him money and power
4648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Strangest Bet You Have Ever Had? on: March 22, 2023, 10:39:15 AM
I've some strange bets, I mean very strange ones maybe to me because their was a time we had to bet on who sleeps last and we were able to bet $50 each and who ever sleeps last goes home with the entire bet and then we really didn't tag it gambling because we only did it out of shared ignorance but as time goes on, I was ale to figure it out to be gambling and I did felt the Impact of that $50 because as a kid I knew how much and how long it took me to raise such amount of money and I even lost it while hoping to make it thrice😁.
And the other strange bet was when we had to bet a friend to go sleep with a guy and she ended up doing it without stress and got the whole money
4649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 22, 2023, 09:39:56 AM
Most times I see no reason or anything wrong with online casinos asking for KYC and I also don't see any reason why someone with a clear conscience should be bothered over doing KYC online especially with reputable casinos and companies. I read all your proposals and I'm glad you were able to change your mindset towards KYC especially from reputable casinos because by so doing, you're helping them reduce the load for them and as well making things easier for yourself too.
Kyc is actually needed to help fight money laundering and other criminal activities through their platforms and it also help the casino regulatory bodies to help gamblers in times of difficulties.
Casinos don't actually pretend not to ask for KYC but they're trying to balance their business with the regulatory bodies and the demands from the gamblers, hence the KYC only happens at a trigger point and if most gamblers read through the terms and conditions then they would have seen this but I guess they don't take out time to read it.
4650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 22, 2023, 09:12:18 AM

you should once again think about how realistic what you are looking for is.
the casino will pay you affiliate commission only for the part that they themselves earned from a player, any other expectation is nonsense and it would be crazy if they pay only for registration or even only for a deposit without playing.
what benefit does the casino get from all that?
Your statement is very realistic and very true that if the casino pays someone who spreads the casino referral link and who registers only makes deposits without betting, the casino will go bankrupt without any contribution from the person who registered using the referral.
I just realized that the OP seems to want to benefit from referrals with an easy task, only the deposit has been paid. Even though the casino also doesn't want to lose when paying someone without contributing a bet.

I truly agree with you guys and there are no possibilities that a casino will just pay someone for getting someone to register with their casino and probably deposit and expecting to make withdrawals for referral bonus purposes and if it was so or as easy as OP thinks then most persons would have been doing this as some persons would just decide to stay indoors and make of registration with fake identity and then rack in some good profits without any risk. And I think OP has to figure out what's good for him in the industry and just focus on it.
One principle I know of casino is the fact that one must have to wager equivalent of what they deposit before being able to make any withdrawal and same also applied to referral bonuses.
4651  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: March 22, 2023, 07:31:27 AM
The level of  activeness of participants should be one basis and also the number of winnings a customer makes within a month should be part of a criteria to giving bonuses. This would encourage more participant activeness and influx of new bettors too.

You're absolutely correct and I couldn't agree less with you and I think the casino has to put alot if factors to consideration when giving out bonuses and since they mentioned a special one for Bitcointalk members then I think there should also be a promotion code for the forum members and I'm very sure that everyone loves bonuses which I'm not exempted.
Just as this quoted user said, and I agree that the activeness of a user also needs to be considered as well as how much a user wagered and how much profit and losses they incured.
A monthly or weekly rack back Is very essential.
4652  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for INVESTORS on: March 22, 2023, 04:43:01 AM
Better still finish up and come up with something tangible before talking about investor because at this stage of development, no investor would want to spend or put money in system that is not yet functional.

This. In addition, the OP should be more specific in specifying how much money he needs, what he gives in return, whether it is equity or whatever, what the plan is to monetise the game and so on. No serious investor is going to consider investing with the little information he gives in this thread.
Exactly why I never picked so much interest in writing a comment or making any willing contributions to it.
I'm very interested to knowing how OP intends to monetize the game his building and since his asking for the help of investors, I'm sure he knows that no real investor would wanr to invest money in a project they're not sure of and basically they would want to know how much they will be getting in return so OP should take out time to figure all of this out from how much he will be needing to how much he is expecting to payback on investment.
I love the ideas if the game and I must confess that you're song a great job and you aould start a campaign to raise funds if you think that might help.
4653  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: March 21, 2023, 02:52:26 PM

I agree with all of you and I believe that a casino having an application software is an added advantage and will go a very long way to increase the revenue of the casino and I really didn't know that most scammers attract more of applications but I thought application softwares will atleast make the casino interface look more simplier and very misch user friendly and there are also possibilities of reducing bugs.
Personally I prefer using websites rather than application because I feel more secure while playing and I also feel that using a website will also help to put the betting behavior of a gambler to check as one can't gamble at anywhere or at anytime.
4654  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 21, 2023, 12:11:50 PM
Hello Mark @OP  I really will love to know howfar you've gone with resolving the said issues you promised and it seems you haven't really taken out your time to respond to any of the responses and replies in your thread or is this another strategy to gain trust over here on the forum, and I think you have a very long way to go to cover up or restore your reputation on the forum and one way is to ensure you clear up your accused scam accusations leveled against your company.
From past personal observations, I noticed that what really made gamblers got mad at your company was because your company never felt any remorse for all their actions and not necessarily because you scammed them.
4655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 21, 2023, 12:05:17 PM
Referral bonus in my opinion happens to be one of the easiest means to make cash, only that the cash are just for airtime/data subscription but that's not bad.
I've never had a tough time trying to claim my bonus in as much as I follow due procedures, the money drops automatically.
I agree with you on this one and I really do see referral bonuses as one of the easiest ways to get free cash from a casino without much work.
I also seen and heard of people who complained so hard that referral bonuses are hard to claim on casinos and I still wonder how because I personally at some point have raked in over $80 in referral without much work by just sharing my referral links and made money even when sleeping. I feel not everyone is met to receive referral bonuses and people have to work for it to earn it rather than complain over what others are already earning from it.
4656  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: March 21, 2023, 10:11:20 AM
DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON DUELBITS IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ASKED FOR KYC AT THE TIME YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW

THEY LET YOU CREATE ACCOUNT... DEPOSIT... BET... NO SIGN OF KYC ANYWHERE... UNTIL YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR FUNDS
My question is did you really take out your time to read the terms and conditions of the said casino before jumping into it? I guess no a d there are alot of things that wouldn't be flagged on the website if any casino and you're expected to get them from reading the terms and conditions and that's why it seems most casinos will always want you to read their terms and conditions.
I also don't see any reason why people run away from KYC when they have no evil intentions when using a casino.
Well the reasons should be best known to them but I also had to check the trust on your profile and you already got a red tag for just just post and I hope others other learn from this and take caution before laying any accusations.
4657  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 21, 2023, 08:21:47 AM
Having more games but still the common ones would really be still useless specially on slots and it has nothing to do or making some add up more interest and attention. What we do need is to have a new unique game which we havent seen on the market before and this is where most gamblers been trying to look at.Sad to say that we are really having a saturated market if we do speak about gambling games which
most of sites now are offering the same thing all over again and again. We arent seeing new unique ones which we are really that interested to look for.
The majority of casinos have decided to let a third party to develop their games, and since the number of those developer companies is limited it is not surprising we are seeing the same games on different platforms.

However when a casino finds itself in a comfortable position and earning a lot of money there is little incentive to change, new casinos should be the ones offering all kind of new games, as if they are going to offer the same ones we can find at established casinos why bother making a deposit with them when we could get a better and more reliable experience with the top casinos?
That is the reason why in many casinos the games are always repeated, isn't there a casino that makes its own games? not that they should buy it from one supplier for all? If so, they should not have many games, but it would be something very original, I have done registration accounts in several casinos and I see that most of them are quite similar in their games, the slots are repeated in all the casinos, I do not see that there are differences that They can be appreciated, and that makes some like me get bored, that's why the classic games like poker, black jack, which are games that are easier to program and that are more entertaining.

I also don't have much issues with seeing repeated games on different casinos but no matter how similar this games might be, I think a casino needs to have a game that is most identified with their casino and by so doing, they would at some point stand out of the crowd but I also think that one of the major reasons why this casinos don't bother with creation of new games Is the fact that even with the ones they have, they are already counting some good and huge profits from them and there isn't any significant need or reason to start cracking up brains when they're already doing well in their comfort zone and away from that, I also think that if a new casino just pops out from the blues with entirely different games and things, it might be very difficult for them to scale through and with all this factors in mind, they just stick to what the people already know since it's still very profitable.
4658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 20, 2023, 06:32:36 AM
Few days back, I came across a post encouraging people to use the money well wishers gives to newly born babies and mothers as a gift  to invest in bitcoin for the baby,  then I was pregnant, just delivered 3rd of march. My baby and I has made up to $50 if converted just 10days after giving birth.  I am definitely going to use the money to invest in bitcoin this year for my baby so that in the next 18 years my baby will be proud of the decision I took for him.

Congratulations to you and for bringing this awesome baby into this world. As a parent the best way we can secure the future of our children is by investing in their future and what better way to do that than investing in something that's built for the future. Soon everything will be digitalized as it's already happening and then Bitcoin will dominate.
You have done well to keep aside money to invest in Bitcoin for your kids, you should keep doing that very often, you can decide tu do that as a birthday present every year untill the baby is 18 then you can handover the private keys to your child and let him continue investing for his future. By the. You should have already taught the baby everything about Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the perfect gift as you don't have to fill in paper works to handover your child investment instead just a random  pieces of worlds called private key can be used to access the coins on any device in the house.
4659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to local communities/villagers on: March 20, 2023, 06:19:37 AM
Taking a Bitcoin class to educate others is a good thing to do out of having passion for others to have a means to learn about Bitcoin especially those in the rural setting but from what I can see on the pictures displayed by OP, am not convinced enough that this actually had to be a Bitcoin class because nothing here is showing or speaking about Bitcoin than the traditional dance held during on local community gathering, moreso much of this kind is getting too common from newbies these days.

I don't believe we should be stressing people in the rural areas, they have enough things to worry about like how they're to eat, get good drinking water and medical treatment etc. Teaching them about Bitcoin might be unnecessary since they might not even have an electronical device like a laptop or mobile phone to use in accessing the wallets.
I'm not even sure they have an internet connection in those areas. Looking at how they're dressed a d looking, we shoudn't be bothering them about how mess up the world is because to teach them Bitcoin, you have to make them understand how useless the traditional currency is. People I'm the rural areas should be left alone to enjoy nature.
Take your educational activities to the urban areas where people will be looking for an alternative to the system they're currently using since they're already seeing the system been broken and too centralized.
4660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin services do we need for mass adoption? on: March 20, 2023, 06:04:34 AM
For mass adoption I don’t think it’s necessarily more services that need to be created as much as it is the basic acceptance of crypto for existing services. El Salvador being a good example. The government could kick off mass adoption by just announcing that Bitcoin is legal currency. When you can use it to purchase everything that a dollar could buy, then we’ll see mass adoption.

That's very true, we have to be able to use Bitcoin in buying our everyday needs. We have to be able to walk into any supermarket and make use of Bitcoin as a means of payment. These are the things that'll bring about adoption from the high demand of the currency. More services who only increase bitcoin to be used more as a store of value.
Accepting Bitcoin isn't that hard anymore, the Marchant must not hold the Bitcoin been accepted, there are service that can convert that Bitcoin immediately to the traditional currency when the transactions had been successful. When more people begin seeing Bitcoin as another means of payment, it'll encourage them to research more on bitcoin.
From this research, we'll get more users joining the market and also when people begin seeing the advantages of using Bitcoin as a payment method, they'll begin joining the market.
