4821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: January 26, 2023, 07:44:12 AM
I really don't agree or think that geographical location is a problem when it comes to gambling provided the casino has the required license.
I had to have a rethink in this issue and I really don't agree with the fact that casinos use any form of algorithm to limit payouts to certain location except is a non license casino and you shouldn't trust any casino without a license because it's operating illegally and the worst can happen at anytime.
Firstly for a casino to operate in a certain place, there are certification and license they're required to have and at such there are jurisdictions they're also expected to abide by and I'm sure with those licenses they wouldn't have to fear any implications for any amount won as long as they can make the payment to the winner.
4822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 26, 2023, 07:15:32 AM
It is without doubt that casinos are built in a way to always keep them in profit and just as every other business, they also want to be in profit and also stay relevant in the market.
Most times I still wonder how these casinos manage to survive even after offering a 90 percent Cashback and I just feel it's because they know they'll definitely still have to get the money back.
I was also wondering how will someone win a jackpot with a very reasonable amount and still gamble all of it away and this very case has become very common and it is also a case for concern.
4823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tom Brady's Gambling and HUGE loss. on: January 26, 2023, 06:55:10 AM
This a very sad story and I also do Fe for him but in the other hand be shouldnbe aware of the dangers of chasing after losses and I'm sure that's one of the major things that brought his downfall but his also very strong to have come out to address the public or for an interview despite all he must have been going through.
I learnt the very hard way not to gamble with money you can't afford to lose or borrowed money not belonging to you and it was far back over 3 years back when I gambled away over $1800 and it was a very huge sum of money in my local currency a d that very incidence messed my entire life up and today I finally moved passed it and sworn never to bet involved in such act no matter how promising the game might seem
4824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 25, 2023, 08:59:15 AM
This is really a sad story and the most painful part was the chester was her cousin and this things are really making the world turn soar and it now seems no one is to be trusted.
I'm sure no one can really point fingers at the casino because I'm sure they might paid out all the winnigs to the cheating cousin before making such publications because they should be aware of the consequences of publishing wrong information if they didn't make tye full payout.
I hope this also serves as a lesson to the general public and I didn't click on the link to read the full message as I already got pissed off reading the qouted message already.
4825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Online Casinos with Easy Verification on: January 25, 2023, 08:52:35 AM
There is a thread I came across recently about the UK government fining a casino over £400,000 if I'm not wrong because they get to ask their players to do KYC whenever they make huge wins and don't don't do same when they lose and at one point I felt the UK government wasn't fair but at some other point, I felt the casino deserved it and it would help serve as a warning to every other casino.
You're new in this space a d I would personally advice that you get a copper membership first to display what you have to offer properly because most users wouldn't take this thread serious and secondly I want to also let you know that my attention was drawn to the fact that you never mentioned about KYC while making withdrawal and hope it wouldn't be an issue when making huge withdrawals?
4826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Smells Like Hypocrisy on: January 25, 2023, 08:43:19 AM
I'm not a Japanese but I think one of the things the Japanese government is trying to fight against by banning gambling is some of the negative reports such as bankruptcy and suicide cases associated with gambling as a result of losing all of ones savings.
Horse racing, bike racing and all of them racing been accepted by the government has lesser possibility of sending one bankrupt and at some point I believe there might be some restrictions on the amount one can wager a day on those races and I've always known the japanses government as one of the government that looks after it's citizens to the very least( just my opinion), so I really don't see this as hypocrisy.
4827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 25, 2023, 08:37:04 AM
Well my choice of gaming would basically depend on how much I'm willing to risk but looking at the both options without sentiment I would personally prefer a PvP gaming mode where we would love to gamble and compete with real life humans though strangers because the fairness is great and winning is mostly dependent on how well you could play a d since this games could also be played from the comfort of our homes, then I see no reason to bother over cheating.
But on the other hand if I would love to make much more money at a go, then I will go for the regular casino games a d hope for the best and while hoping, I will be playing the pvp games.
With that been said my answer option is B.
4828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 25, 2023, 04:54:38 AM
This is really bad and unfair to the casinos and this regulatory bodies must have to understand that they casinos ate only trying their best to balance their regulations along side with the demands of the customers who most times don't care how the casino would go about giving them what they want.
I feel the casinos are the ones suffering from the regulations implemented to avoid fraudulent acts and money laundering because while the government is wanting the casinos make sure their customers do KYC, the customers are on the other hand, customers are not willing to do KYC and now leaving the casino fustrated at the end.
The UK government should understand that in bid to balance this whole situation, oneof the best way to go about this so as to avoid cheating is for the player to provide KYC after winning a certain amount because the player will be eager to do KYC after winning just to claim their winnings.
4829  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 25, 2023, 04:15:23 AM
I had to follow the thread and also do my own Google search and I still wonder why I didn't see anyone in the first page mentions quiting despite been on the first page when searching for gambling quotes? Maybe no wan wants to be associated with quiting but I loved the quote the moment I saw it because I've always told people that he quiting or running doesn't mean you lost or you're weak because he who fights and run lives to fight another day. My quite below
Code:
Quite while you're ahead. All the best gamblers do
-Baltasar Gracián y Morales and this quote was from the 17th century.
I feel this very quote is preaching against greed which is major key to failure in gambling
4830  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 24, 2023, 06:53:58 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?
I don't see any issues while using my phone and to be frank, it has been my phone I've been using ever since my years of online gambling, and I really don't think it's a regional issue because as long as a casino has a license of operation, the mode of operation (mobile or desktop) is dependent on how advance the casino is or how they choose to let their customers use their services and same also applies to choice of people because I personally have a laptop computer but it feel it's to bulky to use web versions of an online version because I find the app version of most casinos I use more easier and simplier to use and since my phone can be carried with me, at sure I use more of mobile app version of my casino because of being able to make my bets at anywhere and at anytime too
4831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 24, 2023, 06:01:46 PM
I don't think it's a nice move for them because the gambling industry is a very demanding one and most times the policies but this law makers don't really favour the owners but rather the players and using your own token wouldn't be a nice one because most players wouldn't find this really interesting or positive especially if your token doesn't seem promising to them and no one would want to swap their coin for your token (a token who's possibility of making any profits isn't certain) from their preferable coins just because they wat to gamble on your site that has no guarantee when there are other several options of better casinos out there in the industry and still offers several other coins aside Bitcoin and usdc.
4832  Economy / Gambling / Re: How best to report vulnerabilities? on: January 24, 2023, 01:53:47 PM
This is really strange and  you should possibly recheck it again if you haven't done so because since you've already informed them, I'm sure they might have gone to check it out without wanting it seem like a big from them or wanting you seek for a compensation from them but in the other hand their response was really strange to me and I must confess that if I was to be in your shoes, I would take a greater advantage of what was presented to me without hesitation but I'm sure that if they were in the position to take such advantage of me, they would do so even without having to inform me on ay issue or so.
But at same time I think th casino doesn't haven anything or much to loss since the casino might be provably fair but what this bug might so is just give you some winning advantage over other players.
4833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 11:49:00 AM
I couldn't agree less with this and I've also said this earlier that one of the reasons for addictiveness on gambling is as a result of this ease of access on mobile phones.
Before the introduction of mobile veesions of casinos, there were less cases of gambling addictiveness or gambling related suicide cases as a result of the effort one has to put into trying to gamble from going down to the physical outlet to going back home after gambling were one of the major reasons one couldn't get easily addicted to gambling and there are times when I would love to gamble but when I remember the fact that I would have to treek from my home to the casino which is over 30 mins while treeking I will just have to call on someone else to gamble ho okay the games I stake
4834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin have value? on: January 23, 2023, 03:25:05 PM
All your points have a degree of truth in them but I also think that bitcoins have value because people have given it value and made it valuable, and people gave them value because it solved/addressed a problem for them.

Everything gets value because of the community and not the government or any other establishment. The government can pass laws and people protest against accepting it, the government will have no choice but to change that law. We're leaving in a democracy age and everything has to be done with democracy.
Bitcoin has valuable because it has proven to the community that it can be trusted and can be used without all the centralized procedure that have been imposed on us by the government. Bitcoin has value because it has proven its useful in borderless transaction and all you said.
Bitcoin is also mathematically backed with limited supply, all this are reason we believe in the currency. Bitcoin has value because it's owned by the people and not like other currency that we don't get a say in how they operate.
4835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always shames social media experts. on: January 23, 2023, 03:15:50 PM
Through trial and error, some of them might have been predicted correctly in the past. And they have large followers that believe their analysis and follower their predictions.  One social media so-called expert recently shut down his social media platform because he predicted that bitcoin would keep falling until it goes into extinction. It was his followers that attacked him until he forcefully closed his page.

Happy bull run.

We aren't in the bull season already, it seems many people are making this mistakes but this is just a break from the downward fall Bitcoin has been on since 2022. Bitcoin is unpredictable and that's what this influencers are yet to understand. You can only speculate on the price direction of Bitcoin but nobody can ever predict its every move.
This is mainly because Bitcoin trades at different prices on different exchange so your bottom mightn't be mine and the same thing can be said about the top. We have to start cancelling the influencers just as this one was cancelled, many other can learn and stop misleading the public.
Even though everybody should account for themselves, still we shoudn't allow this influencers to get paid for misleading people into them losing their money.
4836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: January 23, 2023, 03:02:21 PM
Both short term and long term can be profitable, but I don't think the short term is better than the long term. Short term investment like trading is too risky, and there is no guarantee you will always be profitable, but if you hold for the long term, you will profit.

Investing short term or long term can also be determined by the period you invested in the market. Users that come in during the bull market should consider investing for short term then take profits and wait for the bear market to return before reinvesting. If you invested at the peak and want the keep holding, you will get disappointed.
Usually the bear will take away all your profits and even your capital when you panic and sell. Bitcoin can be invested in at anytime but make sure you aren't investing at the peak of the bull market as that'll take you alot of years to recover just your capital.
For example, those that Invested in the peak of 2021 now have to wait until 2024 or beyond to get back their capitals or profits. Always considered the season of markets before taking decision on your investment timeframe.
4837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to invest in bitcoin to build a country whose economy is down? on: January 23, 2023, 01:58:25 PM
I want to ask everyone, can adopting bitcoin help a country's economy? especially countries that are experiencing bankruptcy, for example, as experienced by our brothers in the country of Sri Lanka.

Yes but the governor doesn't have to force everybody in the country to buy Bitcoin because ever though they do that, it'll not add to the countries economically growth instead only enrich those individuals that bought and humans been very greedy might run away with all the money they made from the investment.
What the government can do is to invest the countries money into buying of Bitcoin or mining of Bitcoin. Countries like El Salvador are using this strategy of DCA their investment into bitcoin and in couple years time they would had made so much profits that they can invest those profits into other things that'll help revive the economy of their country.
I think this is the best way a country can benefit from Bitcoin helping their economy more effectively through investment in Bitcoin since adoption isn't at its highest peak to rely on taxing companies that carryout operation from your country.
4838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 21, 2023, 02:42:14 PM
I would prefer B whenever I want a real time challenging game and I also don't want to feel cheated. Basically I do more of casinos because everyone wants to win big and most times the fist option with casino A is one of the ways to achieving such wins but in situations where I want to actually face real time players and calculate real time wins, then I simply just stick with pvp games because it also seems more fair to me when playing with pvp games.
But generally I don't have a certain choice of game and the game I play most times depends on the situation and the need to play.
4839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why you should choose Macau casino Lisboa gaming platform!!! on: January 21, 2023, 06:47:24 AM
I've read this thread several times and I was actually trying to find what was really spectacular about your casino bit nothing other than a license which almost every other legit casino posses because it's a necessity.
Judging from all you've said, it seem that your post is more of a promotion and I would advice that you get a copper membership and a better graphics designer to help get you guys a nice design and Ann thread as well and I also want to remind you which I'm sure you already know that the gambling industry is a very competitive one and there are other very reputable casinos out that and a claim of superiority with just a license isn't fair. Just bursting balls.
4840  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: January 20, 2023, 08:57:09 AM
This is a nice move and I wouldn't have to speak ill of you but I really would love to see what you and your team have to offer and it also seems this might be one of a kind since it might be a player to player sort of game and one of the interesting aspect is the open chat room but I also wanted you to know that it wouldn't be easy to regulate such chat rooms because that will be alot of bugs and spams and also scams aswell.
One other thing is that It wouldn't be bad if we could have a demo of what you intend to offer because currently what gamblers offer more now is PVP rather than defi and I wish you guys luck and be open to receive criticism especially if you're ready to grow.
