4621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: April 01, 2023, 10:48:00 PM
Demo accounts shouldn't be compared to real or live account because at some point, someone tracing demo account with so many positive entries might decide to get into the real market and  just floop.
There are several differences between demo accounts and live account and some of this difference makes it more difficult to trade because of its strict nature of the job.
I always tell people not so see demo accounts as a practice tool for trading but rather be seen as learning floor where one especially new ones are given the opportunity to learn about that particular broker and get a clear picture of what his getting into.
4622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: April 01, 2023, 08:28:10 PM
I agree with OP that it is good to have a personal strategy and not just about having it but also sticking to it is another great feature as well.
But recently there have been cases of copy trading where traders especially newbie traders don't have to worry so much about making financial decisions but rather rely on the predictions of others and I also heard of storiesnid AI using ChatGPT to help make financial decisions and all of this to me isn't reliable and that is why I prefer to have and own my own strategy that will always help me know when to take financial Decisions.
In conclusion, having a personal trading strategy is best even if one wants to copy trades from others.
4623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A victory for Bitcoin on: April 01, 2023, 07:23:13 AM
When someone says that bitcoin will reach 1 million dollars in the future(10 years upward as the case may be), I will partially believe that person a little but not someone to give a time limit that bitcoin will reach 1 million dollars in 90 days. That sounds absurd to accept and believe.

I think there's something else behind this type of predictions that doesn't look achievable in the time they're predicting it to happen, maybe they're just trying to pump the market so they can sell their bags of Bitcoin. You know whales only cares about themselves so they sell false hope to get people pumped up then they dump on them in the market.
In 90 days which is just 3 months we'll still be in 2023 and the block rewards hasn't been halved by then that you'll start giving such predictions to happen to the price. This types of prediction is what is making people see the market as some kids show filled with emotional investors. We have to stop taking this guys serious with their prediction and focus.
Never invest because of a prediction you saw online from this influencers, Bitcoin could go as far as that price or even exceed it but it won't be happening soon and that's why you have to hold.
4624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an asset. on: April 01, 2023, 07:11:37 AM
But when i discussed the information of Bitcoin with my father and he said if i have seen someone who has benefited in Bitcoin, i responded that i have not seen with my eye anyone that is a Bitcoin beneficiary, but after reading the technology of Bitcoin and i noticed that it's an asset and people do invest on Bitcoin and make profit and i decided to sell part of the portion of my land to invest in Bitcoin for long term.

Bitcoin been an asset is as the benefits of the limited supply that Bitcoin has, also the exciting factors that comes from speculating on the price of Bitcoin through trading makes it a perfect investment opportunity and if you have some spare money you can buy and hold for the future. Although it's encouraging for people to invest in Bitcoin but don't over invest.
Lands are valuable assets, it mightn't be growing as fast as Bitcoin is growing but you can always be sure that a landed property that you own will always appreciate in price over time. What if that area you own that land becomes a hot area in the future and selling for millions due to development coming into that area, always hold on to your land.
Bitcoin is a very volatile assets that can make you rich today but broke tomorrow if you panic and sell when the market is crashing. I just hope you will have the patience to allow your investment mature.
4625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 29, 2023, 09:45:54 AM
There are lots of bets that are made when there is an election in a country and it doesn't only happen in the US but also in several countries out there, even the country where I live, there are always people who make bets when there is an election.
I don't know how to place bets on elections because I myself have never participated in this bet.
Maybe election betting will not only benefit the bettors but also the election candidates because with indirect betting there will be more and more people supporting them during the election.
But unfortunately in my country when there are elections and betting there are always debates and fights if the final results of the elections do not match expectations so I myself have the thought that betting on elections will actually get someone in trouble and therefore I am not interested in betting at all in the election even though what is at stake is the election in the US state.

I guess you should be from Africa and that is why election betting isn't rampard in the continent as a whole because most Electra processes are rigged and at the end elxtuons turn out blood as a result of disagreement.
I also like seeing people such odd Bets outside of sports and I think there was also a bet on Biden and trump back then during their election and another odd bet to me was people betting in the Miss universe and this reay shows that people could make money off anything ad any situation at anytime.
I think betting on election might have more of negative implications over the positive one and a leader might be elected generally because bettors want to win there bet not not necessarily for credibility.
4626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 29, 2023, 09:25:45 AM
Just from my thoughts, u think yes it is possible to create a decentralized gambling casino and in the early days of cryptocurrency, decentralized casinos were more rampard as there was no major attention on them but as the time goes on, people started misusing the crypto casinos and did a lot of criminal activities through the casino which includes money laundering and several of them which brought the attention of the government to crypto gambling casinos and forced the casinos into been centralized to avoid criminal activities through their platforms, hence I really don't see any major reasons to be shy away from centralized casinos as they also serve for the good of the gamblers because they also help to intervene when the gambler is faced with challenges from the casino.
Currently now, there some casinos who are decentralized bit you oigg to know that they aren't trusted since no one is there to monitot them .
4627  Economy / Gambling / Re: I can beat bet365, but cant find good seller. Increese your acc 50/50 profit!!! on: March 29, 2023, 09:07:43 AM
when i read your post i immediately ran to google to find out if in your country they accept gambling or not and i found out that in your country they do not accept gambling. So far this is something very problematic, however you can search for someone casino that is not banning people from your country to play and who accept using VPN. you don't just need to be using this risky method that you are proposing here on the forum, look for other casinos that are suitable for your situation and that you won't break their TOS.

Yeah but I think OP was interested in those accounts since it wasn't permitted in his country and needed users who already passed kyc so he could help gamble and then they could split the profits together which is actually a nice idea but just as you said, it will actually a very risky one as there might be some misunderstanding along the line as humans always have that greed elements in them.
OP it seems you're confident if your games on the preferred casino you mentioned but I think it will be better you search for a casino that is accepted in your country and do your bettings yourself to avoid issues when the winnings come.
4628  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 29, 2023, 09:00:23 AM
I`m in such kind of gambling about 10-15 years and still gamble when i want. And i don`t want to gamble more often. This is my way of relax. And i can`t say that gambling for me costs much more than 2 football matches per month. All people are different, and something that is good for me, can be not so good(at least) for someone else.
I gamble just once or twice in a week. I use just the amount of money that I can be able to lose and never think about. Sometimes I can just gamble even less frequent, it depends on how season is and if there are good matches to gamble. Everyone are different, before I gamble daily, but I lose more than often until I just determine to quit the addiction and start proper gambling. Regardless of the one you are doing, it is good to gamble less frequently and using small amount for it.

Yeah your points are right but I have seen people who are professional gamblers, professional gamblers I mean people who gamble full time, people who their lives solely depends on gambling and they are extremely doing well with their little winnings without necessarily waiting for a jackpot..
Meanwhile there were times when I almost got addicted to gambling possibly as a result of chasing after my losses and in bit to recover all that I've lost which didn't end well but I had to out myself together and re-strategize after I got a job,
I began gambling only when I deem it fit or when I'm too confident of my game atleast 80 percentage sure of my game and this very one has help me cut my losses and made more of wins as I use money I see as spare to do the gambling.

4630  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to use crypto to miximize profits through sport betting. on: March 29, 2023, 08:36:46 AM
Do you want to maximize your profits while betting on sports but don't know where or how to start? Crypto is rapidly going traction as an investment opportunity, and now you can use digital currency while playing all type of sport betting

I actually can't graps what the point of this thread is because I'm very sure that a whole of of casinos on the forum already accept bulks of cryptocurrency from Bitcoin to other Altcoins and I was hoping to see some back doors to making food profit from sport betting when I first read your thread but I got so disappointed.
I wiuld advise that you lock the thread to avoid spamming or better still give more clarity on what your intended topic is so as to get more meaningful contributions from members.
And even without been told, people have already preferred using crypto for gambling for several reasons which I'm sure that maximizing profit isn't the top priority.
4631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 27, 2023, 02:46:12 PM
I think 10 BTC and 100 ETH would set you up for good, so once that is reached, I would stop accumulating, what is your plan?

That's a fair amount to hold and if someone has that at the moment and keep on holding them, they can retire early to escape the 9-5 struggle. Let say you hold for a next 2 bull run and by then Bitcoin is now trading at $300k and Ethereum at $30k, that means you're 10 Bitcoin and 100 ETH will be worth $3m in Bitcoin and and $3m as well Ethereum.
That means you'll be having a combined total of $6m which is quite a lot, you're become a Millionaire and you can retire from your 9-5 to focus fully on investing and living like everyday is a vacation. Retiring means you'll stop working. Never think retiring means you'll stop investing as the moment you stop, you'll go broke like everyone else.
Two extra bullrun are 8 years cycle so it fits into your ten years plans for retirement which means if you own those now, you can retire in 10 years time presuming the market keeps on increasing.
4632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fee. on: March 27, 2023, 02:36:50 PM
How do you ensure that you are not paying too much for a transaction, Talking about transaction fees, how many sat/byte do you use for transactions? Do you increase and decrease it depending on how quickly you want the transaction to be processed or how big or small the transactions value is? Do you use a fixed amount for transactions?

I don't think anyone can answer these questions with a correct answer since the cost of each transaction changes very often then you can think. Using 4 Satoshi for fees today and the transaction was fast doesn't mean it'll cost the same if you you want a faster transaction tomorrow. I don't increase my transaction fees because I want to send a larger amount.
Same fee can be used to send big amount of Bitcoin or smaller amount, all depends on how busy the network is at that point of transacting. If the network is congested then you might want to increase your fees to get a faster transaction.
Some wallets recommend fees you should use for a faster transaction and I use one of those wallets so I don't have to bother to check how congested the network is each time I want to transact.
4633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country tax your gambling winnings? on: March 26, 2023, 01:18:50 PM
There is a tax on gambling in Nigeria, and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) enforces the relevant tax laws. Gambling operators in Nigeria are required to register and pay taxes on their profits under Nigerian tax laws. In Nigeria, gambling operators pay different taxes based on the type of gambling activity they engage in. For instance, the tax rate for sports betting is 7.5% of the total turnover, while the tax rate for casino gambling is 5% of the total turnover.

From your post, it seems it's the responsibility of the house to pay the tax and not tye players I guess and if it's so then I have no issues with taxation then but on the other I thought the taxes was to paid by the gambler after winning a bet and it didn't seem right with me paying any tax on my winning when the government isn't taking any part in my losses, so they shouldn't be part of the winnings.

I also think 7.5 percent tax is way too much for a casino who has other things to meet up with and there is no way it would be easy for the house, no wonder we don't have much of these casinos in my country because the law is already high on them and they don't want to be victimized.
4634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country tax your gambling winnings? on: March 26, 2023, 08:10:35 AM
Basically in my country you get taxed directly or indirectly on every money you make and even on bank transactions as well as mobile calls and also on online purchase as well as buying food from eateries, we have to get taxed for almost everything and I just wonder what all of these taxes are used for as there is nothing to write home about and I don't think winnings on gambling is exempted even to the least winnings, we are taxed in my country. I'm sure it is so in some other countries but mine is insane.
But I feel bad that we have to risk our money without any insurance from the government and still get taxed wheh there is a win.
4635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 26, 2023, 08:04:30 AM
That pastor who won gambling for sure he open the church for profit and money i think he is one of those people who are exploiting religious people because if he is real pastor then why he closes his church also regarding gambling , others really gamble but it is really prohibited if you are really religious but it is not strict that is why they continue to gamble. Their are really pastor or priest do respect their belief so they wont gamble
I don't agree with you mate and I understand that you're stating your mind and your point but on the other hand, I've seen pastors and priest also contest for political positions and still win and since they can't serve two masters, had to quit the  previous work of being a pastor and face their political career and just of recent in Nigeria, a priest was elected a governor of a state and he was glad to accept the responsibility and that doesn't mean he was a pastor because of money and hence from your context, it seems you expecting pastors and religious leaders not to get rich.
Money and power is the two factors that brings out the true character of a man and the winnings from his bet has brought out his true character.
4636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 26, 2023, 05:21:15 AM
In Catholic, it is not considered sinful unless the indulgence can no longer be controlled. I learned a preach that says people should not be too attach  in earthly things and I believe that that involves gambling.

Also, I don't think that people can make a living through gambling alone. It can be a past time or a leisure but to make a living through it, I think it would take more dedication and addiction. Some gets rich with gambling too but it's because they can afford.

On the contrary, I've seen and I also know people who are living  very comfortable lives through gambling and I know of some one who built his life round gambling because he won over $40k when converted to my local currency, it was a very huge amount of money that got him a car, a nice place and then he began investing in casinos and was owning some physical outlets for Casinos and earning some commissions and that has been his field and I don't see him as an addicted gambler because he only plays when he see a nice game.

Just as I said before that I don't think religion has anything to do with someone wanting to gamble and I don't see anything wrong with a pastor gambling as everyone has any equal chances of winning and losing.
4637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 26, 2023, 05:11:05 AM
If I am not wrong even an offline casino introduced something called face recognition which finds behaviour of all the gamblers of table and alerts when someone is cheating like making set-up, giving hits with sign language, counting cards, etc.

Still AI technology is in the infant stage so we can't be sure about their accuracy over handling of anything related to abusing their ToS, what if there is some glitch in the system so AI blocked some valuable customers of casino which will ruin the reputation as well as revenue generation. So as of now it can be used to assist but it shouldn't be given the authority of making any decisions so the human can cross check and make final decisions.

You're right mate and since the AI are still in their infant stage, I think they shouldn't be given the singular power to make final decisions as they are expected to follow given protocols and any slightest bridge is dectated and in my view, I think AI should be used for dectation while humans do the final decion.
The gambling industry has suffered so hard in the hands of the law as a result of their platforms used for money laundering and that was one of the reasons, AI was introduced into the gambling industry and I believe it has been helpful as there have been alot of trigger point raised by AI.
4638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 26, 2023, 05:03:09 AM
At some point when we're losing, we tend to think the house is cheating us and when we win, we feel and think we are too good at playing the game and one thing I've learnt so far is to know when to stop and I always try my possible best not to get so addicted to gambling and op, what truly matters is that we figure out what truly matters and what is good for us, and it seems you are not good with playing with huge amount of money, so I will advice that stick to playing for fun with smaller amount of money as well combing in some small profits while having fun rather than wanting to go in big with expectations of coming out big which isn't guaranteed in gambling.
I don't think the house is cheating as most of the games are provably fair.
4639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting - football/soccer on: March 26, 2023, 04:54:59 AM

Nonetheless, I would personally like if you (or other people considering to open a similar thread like this one) could provide some math on their efficacy on predictions and sport-betting, as well as some small proof they have been in sport-betting as long as they claim.

Yeah I agree with you on this very one and you atleast ought to show us some lroves of the 600 thousand bets you claimed to have placed in previous times because that will go a very long way to build ones confidence and trust in you and your predictions because over the time, we've seen some persons come out with claims of longer gears in betting and predictions and just end up giving us mess, please don't get me wrong and I do appreciate your work and I will be looking out for this thread.
Op also mentioned not to get his reward from forum members and I hope that stands for long as this thread is active and not behave like others who claimed their predictions were free but ended up asking people to join some private telegram group and make some payment but I trust op will be different.
4640  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE - open and live! on: March 26, 2023, 04:19:34 AM

Thank you for confirming the SSL is valid - it could be old windows installations apparently (i've read in another forum) have some vestigial expired root authorities that never got updated. So unfortunately I can't help with that except to change certificate roots myself I suppose. I will consider it if it is shown to be an issue with Lets Encrypt.

Yes I sat on this domain for some years before starting this project.

This site launched yesterday so no there was no site available until now - perhaps I had some test themes on there which may or may not show up on waybackmachine but it has not been live until right now.

I love the way you took your time to explain this very issue to the user and I could feel some deot of sincerity but on the other hand, it seems you're the only one in charge of this stuff and you should think of getting an amazing team to help you out with some of the works because you wouldn't be able to handle all of the works yourself.
I checked through the site and it look nice and cool but I really didn't catch anything very spectacular but keep it up and I would advice that you get a manager on here to help you with marketing through signature campaign as that is one of the ways through which you can spread out in the market.
Good luck.
