5461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: May 14, 2020, 08:37:27 AM
Gambling is everything especially for those what we called compulsive gamblers or those addict on gambling, but it made me realize, why they get so addicted in gambling? if gambling can be the reason for them to lost their money, properties, relationship to family and friends, mental health and physical health. I know that there are gamblers who play because of fun and entertainment, but actually there are so many ways for us to make ourselves entertained without even losing our money.

But anyway, I can not judge and blame all those people because we are all different, we have different story in life.

To answer your question, I think you have to ask why are there so many people gambling. Technically when we have many people doing a particular thing it simply means the rate at which a particular percentage of the users abusing that particular thing will be high. If we only have few gamblers then the addict won't be that high that's why the government are trying their possible best in regulating that section of the economy to reduce the addicts.
5462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be invested in Crypto while staying away from gambling? on: May 11, 2020, 10:48:04 AM
If you're this addicted to gambling then try to consider your investing in cryptocurrency project as a gamble maybe that'll help. It seems the urge to gamble is what's making you miss the great opportunity you have stated above, if you gamble on the ethereum ICO succeeding maybe today you would had been among the millionaire we have in the industry.
5463  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Advice regarding cryptocurrency scholarships on: May 07, 2020, 10:25:52 PM

Reread the thread, you must have misunderstood it, the USDT 200 amount isn't for promoting the scholarship instead its the reward given to the user that'll be opportuned to b selected. The user can make use of any board that offer the option of creating a thread on hiring forum members to promote their project provided they're willing to pay in the recommended cryptocurrency of that board.

Thank you for your reply, how should we go about proving it's authentic?

It might differs made on how different users will want you to prove it but I think uploading more details about the site, it's license, the team behind the site might draw in some trust into the authenticity of the scholarship also escrowing the fund might just do the trick for assuring the community, you intend paying the potential selected users and not just looking for cheap publicity to promote your website.
5464  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Advice regarding cryptocurrency scholarships on: May 07, 2020, 05:00:48 AM
For free? You can post on the service board in search of some volunteers who're not currently monetizing their signature space to wear your signature ads for free, you're likely going to get some volunteers that would wear your signatures if truely what you offer can be proven to be authentic. This ad will be display as they engage in conversation on the forum.

Interested in paid ad?, The forum can help with that, it offers ad slots in form of auction that if you win, you'll given some number of slots to advertise your project which will be displayed at the top of all tooi or you can make use of paid signature advertising.

5465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Many cryptocurrencies — how important is that for you in casinos? on: May 07, 2020, 04:47:19 AM
Hi guys!

Still playing with bitcoins? Or have you switched to TRON or Ripple?
Anyway, every crypto has its own benefits but how important is it for you to have a variety of different cryptos to play in casinos?

I still prefer playing my bets with bitcoin as it gives me a sense of satisfaction that my coins have utility purposes as I don't consider bitcoin as just a tool for profit purpose. Also since I don't buy into the idea of altcoins been used as currency, I don't used them for any payment purpose instead prefer trading them to get more bitcoin as that is the most useful feature insee in them. Sometimes it's quite frustrating to withdraw with bitcoin due to the fees and time wasting but the moment those coins land in your wallet, the wait would had been worth it.
5466  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 07, 2020, 04:41:05 AM
Right, you're not alone, I'm sure a lot of gamblers here in this community has that itch to go back into their gambling habits.

Yes I do (speaking for myself), I'm a lover of social interaction and hardly can stay for a long period without interacting with individuals having same interests like I do. Somedays I just pick up my phone to call my friends asking if they can come over so we gamble, they leave just few blocks across the street. I have been declined on many occasions which angers me the more but I do understand their reason. Gambling online is still sometimr that I'm getting used to and in due time, I'll enjoy it like I do with physical casinos.
5467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you read about crypto? Favorite sources? on: May 07, 2020, 04:33:18 AM
Before seeing your option I was already about replying with the forum as its the perfect answer. Other sources information can be easily found on the forum and since its a forum you could engage in discussion on the topic you just read unlike other media houses that all you can do is read and even when you're interested in contributing to the topic been discussed, your comments get censored. You can easily asked questions to confirm the the information you just read is reliable and recieve responds in matter of minutes to clear your doubts etc.
5468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who thinks Bitcoin will hit $250,000 by early 2023 on: May 07, 2020, 04:28:04 AM
Saying bitcoin will be trading at $250,000 in 2023 is not achievable but that doesn't mean it can't get to that trading price someday as it can but not in 2023, maybe it'll take another 10 to 20 years for it to achieve that milestone. Bitcoin is currently valued based on speculation that's why it becomes difficult for it to maintain any certain new price without dumping. For it to be trading at $250,000 it'll mean bitcoin has to gain an amazing 2500% plus pice increase which is just impossible in such a short period of time. We're no longer in the 2010's.
5469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason behind the Bitcoin price could reach $50,000 in 2020 on: May 07, 2020, 04:10:04 AM
Why do we keep making this speculators more popular by discussion their price speculation like they're some god or what. Anyone can make a speculation of bitcoin price based on how it'll favours them. They're not different from the accounts created on the forum for the purpose of guessing what the future price of bitcoin will be. Sometimes I begins to think these prediction are done intentionally to manipulate the market into a bullish trends as newbies begin to FOMO itno the market hoping to profit which isn't healthy to some extent to the steady growth of the industrial.
5470  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Covid19.insure - your opinions? on: May 05, 2020, 01:24:55 AM

Don't just post because you're required to, always read previous discussion on the thread to avoid bumping an old thread up. If you had read other reply you'll observe this statement by @o_e_l_e_o.
We've established this is a scam and OP has obviously no interest in discussing it. Can we please stop bumping this thread.
5471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: May 03, 2020, 07:56:54 AM
Bitcoin doesn't need to kill banks but instead can help the growth. Bitcoin can provide easy transactions and help in the some crucial emergencies of people.

Very true, let take some trip down memory lane, did drone kill the camera man using an helicopter to broadcast news event happening? No. Did Uber kill the local taxi driver driving everyday in the street to get his daily bread? No. Did email kill, sending and recieving of letter through the post office? No. Sure this new innovations did reduce the rate at which people use the formal but they're still operating fine. That's what will happen with bitcoin and banks. Non is replacing the other instead both with operate just fine and it's left for you to decide on which to give the upper hand.
5472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: May 03, 2020, 07:46:41 AM
Cryptocurrencies have grown over the past two years. Even though decentralized, this currency is now used in many countries. A lot of virtual transactions are carried out using cryptocurrencies and the government has slowly started accepting this currency.

I just want to know your opinions to these 2 questions:
1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?

Check this out, currently most part of the world is in total lockdown meaning work has been suspended which also result to people not having where they could get paycheck considering most workers depend solely on the government to hire them for work. Without knowing about cryptocurrency I don't think I would had been able to survive this lockdown as in the last month, my work hasn't paid with the reason of not having customers due to the pandemic lockdown. What I'm currently depending on are my investment made before now and those investment are in bitcoin. Just glad having has made the price of bitcoin increase more for my profit to double.
5473  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Mobile Social Network on: May 03, 2020, 07:29:41 AM
What is Payd? Payd is a completely new mobile social network where you can build your own community, post texts, images and videos and get paid for it. Isn't that cool? You can submit posts into so called "channels" where other people can read your posts.

Reading through your announcement thread I got bored so had to skip some part although reread the thread again just to be sure my observation from the very beginning are correct. You do understand you guys aren't the first project coming up with this idea and the other well established sites offer exactly what you have just introduced to us that your site will be offering. Don't get offended but if I may ask, what makes your site special and different from the others. What do you offer that'll make me patronize or recommend your site to other. Paying out in cryptocurrency isn't new.
5474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: May 03, 2020, 07:18:12 AM
Since almost all casinos and other gambling places are closed due to coronavirus threats, we cannot go to those places and we cannot gamble. The only thing we can do right now is to gamble online.

I won't go immediately but will give it sometimes before returning to my old ways of gambling offline although this time around, I'll combined both. That's to say, somedays I will visit the physical casinos to gamble as I get some positive vibes when I'm seeing other gamblers gambling. Also I'll continue my involvement with gambling online especially with cryptocurrency as the instant crediting from the comfort of my home is an experience I haven't felt until this lockdown was implemented.
5475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 02, 2020, 08:08:16 AM
I'll go with email based authentication as it also has other measure to ensure your account doesn't get access by others. All they platform I have used also has 2FA security option together with the email option which makes it to be more protected from scammers and very easily to recover incase you lost your security details like 2FA cod. Easily with the recovery phrase you can recover them. Email is the most popular which means it's the security option must gamblers use but don't understand why it's lossing in the poll.
5476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Check list before depositing in any crypto casino. on: April 27, 2020, 11:17:35 PM
Now a days I am seeing more and more crypto casino scams. I realized that it will be good to post a check list for newbies in order to prevent it before hand.

The most important of them all has to do with verifying if they have scam accusations against them to avoid falling victim to scams. Next is to read the terms and conditions before patronizing the platform to avoid regrets of not knowing their terms and also confirming your deposit address before sending your coins to the address both when you're withdrawing from the casino.
5477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 27, 2020, 11:13:16 PM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.

I gamble uncontrollable, but never go beyond my budget. I could risk all my gamble budget for the day in a single game which could turn out to be a mistakes or profitable choices but it never leads me to tapping into funds that wasn't intended to be used to gamble for the day. So I think I'm in control.
5478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 25, 2020, 09:48:33 PM
All of this will be based only on what you have done in this past month of Quarantine. Although it is very common that we can't see any games in relation to sports, even so there are quite a number of shareable experiences that you might have done in this past month that you have never done in the past years.

So what do you think? Do it really had a big difference?

Just like everyone else my life has been affected as a result of this outbreak. Usually I use profit gotten from my bet to fund some of my daily needs but that's unlikely to happen anytime soon. My favorite casinos has been on lockdown so has other physical casinos in my area and when I try other alternative it doesn't favor me so I just put everything on pause at the moment.
5479  Economy / Trading Discussion / When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 14, 2020, 03:00:22 PM
Few days ago I decided to utilize some fraction of bitcoin just sitting in my trading wallet to try profiting from the market. Although I may profit when the profits was calculated in dollars but unknowingly I lost massively in Satoshi value. That means assuming I just kept hold of my coins I would had made almost the same value I made with the coins i bought. Many traders haven't realized this yet but just get carried away with the US value of their trades without realizing they lost some satosh in the process.  When training, what are you mostly concerned about, to gain more profit in bitcoin or gain more in usd dollar without minding if you lost some Satoshi value?.
5480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merits again] Discuss the velocity of Bitcoin on: November 16, 2019, 05:24:41 PM
I'll be basing my contribution on the effect velocity of bitcoin has on the price but first I'll like to point out some important key points. The price of bitcoin can be influence by many other factors and sometimes this factors compliment each other (they work hand in hand) and most times the media hype plays a major role considering it's the perfect platform to engage a large audience. The velocity of bitcoin might not have direct impact but it does play a role to trigger a reaction that mighty influence the price of bitcoin since it'll present the assumption that the circulating of bitcoin is either in the increase (causing fud) or decrease (causing fomo). It all depends on how the media interpret the situation to pass on to the masses and that's a disadvantage preventing bitcoin from been accepted as a global currency as the velocity can be easier manipulated.
