The user localxe can explain it better. If they ask you to do anything in advance and talk to your with sweet writing still don't fall for it. You will likely end up with very poor communication and will not get paid.

You have been warned!

I will post details later. Really not in the mood. I was lucky enough today from getting scammed I'm another event lol
DarkStar_ was a part of it as well :-D

Here you have the details,

5582  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PRIVCOIN.IO l The money did not come on: November 29, 2019, 10:22:26 PM
Hello.
I decided to transfer money through a mixer 1900$ privcoin.io
Pointed everything right.
Such a letter has arrived:
«Total BTC received and confirmed: 0.27776967. This amount will be forwarded shortly. Please tell your friends about us Smiley

I wrote to them in the mail, but I did not wait for an answer.
Tell me what to do?

Honestly speaking I never heard of this mixer. Why would you chose this site in the first place? You could go with ChipMixer.

Scamming BTC by providing mixing service is really easy.
Create a website
Rank it on Google
Ignorant people think it's legit since it came from Google search at the first
Easy money.
I am pretty sure this was your case since you have not got your coins.

EDIT: Should I believe people who say cryptocurrencies are scams?
FUD. Let the fudders do their job. Crypto in other word bitcoin has past it's 10 years and there was a lot of ups and downs but we are still surviving. From zero dollar value to it went up to over $19k. After the next halving we possibly will see higher than this price. Stay positive.

Thank you all for your advice.

Is there an easy way to quickly sell it and buy bitcoins without revealing ID's or location info? I ask these because I'm in Iran (after a week of internet blackout) and many platforms require ID's and Iranians are banned and sanctioned almost everywhere.

And 9$ is a lot in Iran Sad
You can do a simple trade in here with any forum member from Currency Exchange section. There are people who needs bitcoin cash or they perhaps like it. It may take time but eventually you will find someone. Deal with someone trusted so that they do not go away with your money once you send them.

move from bitcoin.com wallet. Who use it?
Download Electrum from here: https://electrum.org/#download
Verify the signature before installing: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/
In the process you will learn a lot, trust in Bitcoin.

Good luck.

What can I do with this 9$ worth of Bitcoin Cash to make it grow in a short time? Should I trade cryptocurrencies? How about trading bots?
$9 worth of any crypto is really not much and if the are in an exchange the you are going to pay good amount of fees to withdraw as well. Guessing that you have them in you own wallet and in this case my advise will be to exchange them in Bitcoin if you like too coz this bitcoin cash is not going to last long. Their hash power is dying.

If you are interested in crypto then find a job that pays in crypto or from your regular job why not buy very often. Talking about trading or thing like that ? I will say stay away unless you know the things. You will not need 9 seconds to lose your 9 dollar .
5587  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is morals not needed? on: November 29, 2019, 09:04:11 AM
Here are something from the rules book (unofficial):
Q: Someone insulted me. Why aren't you deleting his post/thread?
A: Possible (since we don't have the time or resources to check) insults are also allowed as long as they contain any kind of constructive opinion, info or something else substantial and aren't off-topic. For example, posting something like "you are dumb" will be deleted as it contains no meaningful content. However, if the post is somewhere along the lines of "You are dumb. This is wrong because this website/thread/etc. has explained it's not right", it's in most cases accepted.
Besides we all are adult enough and in a online forum if you do not have think skin then this place is not for you.

Still not able to figure out what the problem was  Undecided
I always find hassle to use wallets in phone devices. For the last 12 hours I am trying to create an wallet in BitPay but on the screen it's "Creating wallet..."

And I am not too keen to contact their support and stuffs.

Back to the topic: The balance is on the wallet now. And seems like in this Test we will have rain interrupt. May be you will get lucky :-D

Hey, so there is a promo on Localbitcoins.com (you probably know this site as it's one of the most known Bitcoin exchange site)

so how it works?

1. You need a Firefox browser
2. Install BitManager - https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/bitmanager/
3. Go to Localbitcoins and make a deposit
4. thats it ! You will receive a 50% bonus! Smiley For example, if you deposit 0.10 BTC you will get 0.15 BTC on localbitcoins

then u can simply withdraw your money (its instant) - you dont need to sell or exchange your coins

there are absolutely no restrictions on that, it works only once per account

promo started today 28.11.2019 and you can use it until 30.11.2019
5591  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: trezor 12 or 24 word recovery on: November 28, 2019, 08:22:01 PM
My trezor T never had the option to chose between 12 or 24 word revovery seed. Got started with a 12 word seed and tried it out, I made some transactions even to a passphrase wallet. How do I create a new 24 word seed? Do I need to remove my wallet and create a new?

I guess there isn't any other solution with my current funds then send it away from my 12 word wallet (if I will create a new 24 word wallet)?

By the way, isn't 12 word enough? Especially if I use a passphrase..
I have never used trezor but here I try with my understanding.
Why do you need a 24 seed passphrase? 12 words one is enough. If you really want the 24 words passphrase then it will create a new wallet and I think you will basically start with a new wallet in the same trezor. What you will do is resetting.

Save the current 12 words seed somewhere safe. You can always restore your current wallet with these words. And then play with your trezor however you want.

5592  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [ONE TIME] BUY 50 BCH Secured deal Pay BTC BITFINEX+5% on: November 28, 2019, 08:08:15 PM
OP, don't go crazy and send the BTC to the sellers first especially if this is a newbie. Even with a green trusted member go with causion unless it is very very highly trusted forum user.

Use escrow, always ask the signed message with the staked address to ensure you are dealing with right person.

5595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 28, 2019, 04:38:11 PM
Is there anyone here who tried to experiment in online gambling sites with a pen and paper?
This days you really do not need pen and paper. You can do it easily with spreadsheet. I have done if long time ago and it's waste of time LOL
You win, you lose and that is gambling.

If there is someone who already does this, could you please share the outcome? At what Bet you usually win? and what platform could that technique be applicable?
I really do not think someone else's statistic is going to help you. Everyone has their own style of betting and risk taking. When I did it, I had some personal info so even if I want I would not like to share it with anyone else.

Bottom line is that I had a lose at the end but not much.

Don't forget to add this link for automatic flag support in OP:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=752;support
You were tricky to add the ";support" thing at the end of the URL. I was thinking what was going on! There were no alleges, no supports and the window was looking very different LOL

Anyway, supported.

It's Vadi2323. He asked not to be a merit source anymore.

[...]
I do not want to participate in that and ask to transfer my merit source functions to someone else.
[...]

Theymos seems to have listened to him.
Seems like he was demanding some benefit or something? Anyway good to see him to retire. Sometimes people take things too personally where this is just a forum.

~snip~

That might be the case but i am not so sure about that before knowing their point of view on this matter.
To start something one person is enough and here we are few already. I think we are good. In future we will see more interested users for sure. I am always optimistic :-D

By the way, can you please check the pool topic or Telegram channel: https://t.me/royseMultiBet

Cheers,

Multi-bets in Soccer matches would probably attract many more gamblers across the forum due to its popularity and you probably could set up mutual pools for Soccer events too like Onehash.

Onehash usually has the same liquidity issues(Even on big matches) which is why you could position yourself as a proper competitor if you are able to attract a sizeable audience in the future.
Thanks bud, appreciate the input. I will start it from this week end. I will need to some good matches in a popular league. I think CL, EPL are two top among others?
