Sad news, Smith is out from the third Test.
Concussed Steven Smith out of Headingley Test

Without him the Australian team is looking very poor. England now has the best chance to come back to the series and equalize the result. I really hope that Smith recovers soon. This injury is not looking good at all.

Anyway, tomorrow will be a busy day for Cricket lovers. three Test from 6 Test playing nations, quite exciting. I will be watching Australia vs England one as usual. I may watch bits and pieces of India vs WI too.

If Nakamoto does appear and decides to cash in the Satoshi stash—or threatens to—the bitcoin market would almost certainly collapse.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/paxful-founder-makes-wild-proposal-161450915.html

I have no idea but I think Bitcoin is no more in control of anyones hand. May be we will see a sudden crash but then again people will start to buy and market will stable. Who would miss to buy something which is on sale?

For the last 10 years people were expecting all sorts of crash but Bitcoin survived. Bitcoin will survive till the end.

Burning Nakamoto’s coins is possible, if incredibly unlikely. If the whole network came together and agreed to move the coins into a different, inaccessible, account, then Nakamoto would be unable to access his/her/their fortune.

This will be a disaster. They are asking perform a 51% attack. This is stupid and dangerous idea in my opinion. Tomorrow you will ask to burn someone else's Bitcoin if you do not like them to have huge amount of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created to have peace in mind that no one can touch my money.

Mostly used by scammers.
I am glad you used the word mostly. It's personal preference. Practicing privacy is not an offense. There are good people who also use VPN/TOR to hide their location information.

Also there are some countries where Bitcoin is not legal, they do not want to risk their location so they have this option to hide it.

what would be the first thing to do and how to buy bitcoin where to hold which currency want to get and how do you plan to do that  Roll Eyes
LOL I would spend every single fiat I had into BTC and would never sell them.

I would not spend much in luxury, I would loan money from the bank, from the relatives, from friends, from possibly everywhere and loan from others. I would promise them better return than bank of their money they gave me. Once BTC would hit it's ATH (~$19k) I would sell them all and cashed out. I would repay all the loan and with the rest I would buy when price are down and sell when price at the pick every time.

Not to mention, I would again spend all my cash to buy BTC when the price was $3,200 few months ago.

~snip~
Majority of Cricket tests never end in a draw even if the weather conditions don't help out sometimes. Australia could have lost the recent test match and survived barely even after consecutive days of rainfall recently.
True. Test cricket used to be boring before because team were too defensive but now teams are more attacking. I think T20 changed this mindset.

Back to the selection:
If you notice my selection then it's a multibet. Three Test matches.

Weather in England is like women. You can not predict. In the Caribbean, I have no idea about their weather but we have seen rain in between India vs WI matches and finally the Sri Lanka vs NZ, we have seen rain there as well in Sri Lanka. So I did not want to take risk.

If I were to bet in single match then I would wait and place in play bet and then may be I would go for straight win for a team.

Won't it get banned for doing something like that? And also what if I use IP 1 for posting something then I change to IP 2 and post again
No.

I do not think it's an offense here. In the forum even you can have multi account. But you can not misuse a campaign/bounty with your multi account meaning you can not join the same bounty/signature campaign using more than one account.

3 tests coming up people on 22nd of August:

- India vs West Indies -> India will probably win this one easily thanks to Pujara and Kohli(Odds : 1.4)
- New Zealand vs Sri Lanka -> My bet is on Sri Lanka to take the 2nd one(Odds : 2.64)
- England vs Australia -> Betting on England since Smith is probably out(Only if Warner stays out of form)(Odds : 1.79)

If I were to bet then I would go with this:
India vs West Indies: Draw no bet India to win @ 1.15
England vs Australia: Draw no bet England to win @ 1.57
New Zealand vs Sri Lanka: Draw no bet New Zealand to win @ 1.86

3 fold odd @3.26 and it will look like:

Feel free to use it anyone. However I am not gambling yet. I am still in rehab mood :-P

The reason going with Draw no bet is the rain. In all three matches, we never know rain may play big role and in that case any match could draw. You do not want to risk much when you are playing multibet.

Good luck.

Unless that IP isn't an evil IP then you're good to go but if it does then you'll need to pay the corresponding fee to enable posting here in forum but if you just want to login or just do some skimming/scanning that's still doable. You can refer what's an evil IP here if ever you encounter that one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5025522.0
The evil IP effects only when you are creating an account. Once you already have an account, you can login to it from any IP.

Can I login Bitcointalk account at the same time from two different country IP or proxy with different country?
Yes.

But after an hour if you refresh the first logged in side then it will log out from there.

Meaning, logged in from first IP will lose its login session after an hour. You will need to relogin from the first IP if you want to continue and then again it will logged out from the 2nd IP after an hour, like it did for the 1st IP. You will be in a loop eventually if you continue from two IP simultaneously.

‘If you pick a guy, you back him for the long term’ – Waugh confident of Warner, Bancroft bouncing back

Ashes 2019: Ricky Ponting implores David Warner to free his mind

Last four innings of David Warner:

1st inning of 1st test: 2 runs
2nd inning of 1st test: 8 runs
1st inning of 2nd test: 3 runs
2nd inning of 2nd test: 5 runs

What's wrong with David Warner? Roll Eyes
Well how many innings?
A team like Australia have unlimited options. Indeed Warner needs to come back very soon or he is very close to lose his position. I hope Smith will be fit to play the third test if not then we will see a disaster from Australian team.
6491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 18, 2019, 06:43:30 PM
Match drawn! Sad end to an innings that could have been in England's favor. Aussies must be very happy as they escaped a loss but the winner is the rain.
Yes, Match drawn but winner is the rain :-P

Australia was looking broken without Smith. If this test could be 15 to 20 more overs longer then we might see a result in favor of England.
6492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 18, 2019, 06:10:23 PM
Man! It's stressful now.

5 overs to go but technically England needs only 3 wickets. Cummins batted well in the first innings, I hope he can stay in the pitch till the end with Head.

Real adoption would be that you get your salary in crypto, and that you can pay almost anything with crypto. This type of adoption is not real adoption, but Bitcoin is only 10 years old, it can not change the way money works in such a short time.
Correct! This is the real adoption and Bitcoin was created having this in mind. We can not achieve it if we can not change this mind set and the culture of HODL YOUR COIN.

We need to find a solution which will need less tx fee and faster tx time. LN is offering it but it's still not widely used yet. I hope some day majority of the merchants will be useing Bitcoin as their accepted payment method and companies will offer their employees to take salary in Bitcoin. I also hope that we will start developing this culture that it's more profitable spending Bitcoin instead of holding.

Yes, we are heading there however Australia lost another wicket. So, technically they are 5 down now. It needs only 5 wicket taking balls to get 5 wickets.

Question is: Do one or two English bowler have this magic spells?

EDIT:
Damn! 5th gone! Technically 6 wicket down. England needs only 4 wickets. Remember Smith is not there.

Anyway, a soft bump for visibility :-P

actually it depends.
merchants (like a bakery where you buy the cake) don't usually reuse addresses and even if they do, it is still not an easy task to figure out who does the address belong to unless they are publicly announcing it which you could find it by searching on Google which again is not common.
Yap it depends and my understanding was that Mr X knew the address of the bakery or the payment address was pseudo-known publicly. The bakery ultimately will send the bitcoin to an address or wallet where they store all their Bitcoin.

But as other poster said, if they use a gateway like coinpayments or bitpay then it will be harder to find out.

Take note few exchange and payment processor will deny payment and refund/freeze the funds if the funds come from mixers.

I think Binance do if I read it right somewhere.

Night for now guys, laters
Good night.

Match update:

Australia needs 157 runs with 7 wickets (actually 6) remaining and 18 overs left. If Smith was there then I am sure they would try to play a T20 style innings to give it a go for winning but it seems they will not going for this.

Everyone is missing Smith.
6498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 18, 2019, 04:57:11 PM
Because of Archer's bouncer? i was under impression that he came out okay after that.
Yes was the bounder. And Smith was not feeling well in the morning and possibly not fit for batting.

"I started to feel a little bit of a headache coming on last night, probably as the adrenaline got out of my system," Smith said. "I was able to get a good sleep in, which is somewhat rare for me. But woke up feeling a little bit groggy and with a headache again, so had some tests done and upon some further assessments deemed to be a mild concussion unfortunately.

"We did a test this morning here at the ground, did one last night and results changed slightly and unfortunately that and how I'm feeling have contributed to me being ruled out for the rest of the Test match. Yesterday when I came off the ground the results were normal. I passed all the tests and felt fine, felt normal. I was allowed to go back out and bat, upon discussions with the team doctor and the coach as well. They were both happy and I was comfortable as well, so we were all happy and I was able to go out and continue batting.

"I didn't have any real pain in my neck yesterday when I touched it or when anyone else touched it. Today I do have a bit of pain there, whether that's some swelling or what I'm not sure. Perhaps that's leading to me having a headache and feeling a bit groggy. In regards to the arm, the arm feels pretty good today. It's quite a good bruise I have on it and it's feeling a lot better. The movement I have in it is far greater than I had yesterday and that feels really good."

Guys what happen with Smith? why he's not coming to bat. missed out yesterday's play completely and you guys are not helping me to get updated news from this thread Tongue and i noticed @UmerIdrees giving weirdly strange suggestions  Grin
Smith is injured so he is not going to bat in this innings. Aussia are 3 wickets down but technically 4 (since Smith is not going to bat).

Anyway here we stand, England needs 6 more wickets and Australia needs to survive more 25 overs if they want to draw this match. I do not think Australia will give it any try to win. So, I am not considering this option.

Side note: UmerIdrees gone mad :-P

Aus must be desperate for the rain now.
They lost their 2nd wicket and I can smell trouble for Australia. Since Smith is not batting means they have no rescuer. Seriously will we see a result in this match. If we do then seems like it will be a thrilling win for England.

Warner was super flop in this Test. What happened to him?
