They should be aware.
I meant, adBlocker blocked the contents that it's not visible currently. Anyway, I left pm to bitcasino.io and nyancatio. They may find it useful.
6462  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk ad: adBlocker blocking contents on: August 23, 2019, 04:19:40 PM
There are two separate set of requirements for ad designers:

First, there are design requirements that you must meet for your ad to be accepted at all. This is stuff like not using any JavaScript, not having your ad just be one big image, not affecting things outside of the ad area, etc.

Second, there's a much stricter set of requirements that you must follow if you want your ad not to be blockable by (typical) adblockers. This includes: making your ad only out of one <a> and a minimal number of <span>s, using very few distinct CSS classes, and opting into my server-side link redirection. If advertisers choose not to follow this second set of requirements, then their ads could be blocked by adblockers, and it's not my responsibility to deal with this.
Awesome repose bud. My conclusion is that the advertisers are not much aware and to be precised those who are designing their ads in BitcoinTalk they need to see this issue and update their codes.

I may PM those advertisers with my own initiative. They are spending good amount of money after all to be seen by the visitors.

New addition and do not miss to read it!

Send BTC to xyz wallet: [H] X coin [W] BTC
This thing came new to my radar. Check this: [W] BTC [H] XMR $3,600,000 archive Read the topic.
It create doubts but seems legit too. One would consider to send the BTC to the referred wallet thinking it's a legit wallet. Trick is that the user will give you a phishing wallet site and will ask you to create a wallet in there and have the keys safe. They will then send the X coin (which they won't obviously) and once you will receive the X coin then you will be asked to give them the private key of the wallet.

Trick here is that once you will create the new wallet in the phishing site and send the coin as he instructed, possibly he will have some code injected and the BTC will immediately go to his choice of wallet. Scammers are very creative indeed.

Warner failed again!
0 run from 2 balls.

Australia lost their first wicket very early but seems like Harris and Khawaja is trying to recover. They already have 147 runs lead though. Both Australia and England has plenty of times in this test. Australia needs to score at least 300+ runs to be safe and England needs to show patience in the chase if they want to win. In the fourth innings the pitch will not be easy to play for the batsmen.

Bitscasino have no text-based ads currently in rotation - https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adinfo
Okay visiting this link this is what I see:

Which means adblocker is blocking the contents of the add. I have adBlocker installed on my browser.

Now, this means my topic was ruined LOL

However, I think we found a possible topic to discuss.

Since, this is not google ad or any kind of search engine or ad network provided ad - I think the adBlocker should not block this. Some of the contents in the ad is blocking the graphical contents on those ads. The advertisers need to be aware about it and possibly theymos can identify which part of code is affecting and update the ad requirements.
6466  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk ad: creativity is at best with extreme simplicity on: August 23, 2019, 01:39:15 PM
I think the ad you're seeing should actually look like this?

Yeah that's how everyone should expect but in this case the advertiser gone with the very basic (A part of their advertising strategy) in my opinion.

Keep refreshing. It was bitcasino

Here I found one from theymos obviously.

6467  Other / Meta / BitcoinTalk ad: adBlocker blocking contents on: August 23, 2019, 01:25:46 PM
Topic turned out to be a very different than initially what I thought. Read after the line breaking (hr tag) to see the initial discussion I was intending to discuss.

However, I think we found a possible topic to discuss.

When adBlocker is not active:

I just noticed this ad:

First, I thought it's a post then in the next second I realized it's the forum ad space LOL

Forum ad specifications:
Ads are allowed to contain any non-annoying HTML/CSS style. No images, JavaScript, custom fonts, or animation. Ads must appear 3 or fewer lines tall in my browser (Firefox, 900px wide). Ad text may not contain lies, misrepresentation, or inappropriate language. Ads may not link directly to any NSFW page. No ICOs[1], loggable mixers[2], banks, funds, or anything that a person can be said to "invest" in; I may very rarely make exceptions if you convince me that you are ultra legit, but don't count on it. Ads may be rejected for other reasons, and I may remove ads even after they are accepted.

And I see there are nothing wrong with the above ad but too simple :-P
I would say: creativity is at best with extreme simplicity.

Your thoughts?

Man I am worried about the tip: England to win or draw :-P

However! however!! I am very happy with the performance of Australian bowlers.

EDIT: 67 runs and booked LOL
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is our ODI World cup champion 2019  Tongue
6469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 23, 2019, 01:07:10 PM
BIG LOL
What is going on with England?
NINE DOWN! :-P

Australia is going to win the test even without Smith in the team and the series with ease.
England had their best chance to win a Test match in this series but their betting line up is showing the worse commitment LOL
6470  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Lauda still on DT? on: August 23, 2019, 12:44:45 PM
Did I miss this or something?  Theymos blacklisted Lauda from what, DT1?  I do remember the PM Theymos sent out to a bunch of DT1 members, but I don't recall that anything came of it.
I am struggling to find the reference post but I can recall clearly that I have read something that he (theymos) blacklisted Lauda. It was at the beginning of the new flag system introduced.

He was probably inspired by this- http://hasthelargehadroncolliderdestroyedtheworldyet.com, earlier he mentioned it.
Yes I get it. But I was giving an alternative proposal of the idea so that these things stay permanently.
6471  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit Support Group Is Now On The Move! on: August 23, 2019, 12:36:53 PM
This isn't a false hope, to all of the users who has a problem or issue regarding on their accounts please join the group on telegram and if possible join the discussion on the thread that I have made on the Reputation Section. Please do not that response from Yobit are still slow, so you'd better cool off your head.
Good for them. It's their business and they need to do what is right thing for their business. May be they need someone in BitcoinTalk as their representative to build up some reputation.

I got screenshots bro I said he tried ripping me I found out later that account wasn’t actually the one he was trying to sell

As I said, gather the evidences and update the OP then move them to scam accusations board if you thing it was a scam attempt or move to reputation section.

Cheers :-)

PS : RIP
RIP Australia. I missed the whole day yesterday but once I checked the score after the day I was like, well it is expected. All out for 179 runs!

Anyway, England seems not responding well too. They lost 4 wickets to collect 38 runs so far. I am expecting anyone from England will build a partnership. England should win this test. Without Smith, the Australian team is broken. Good news that Warner got few runs in the first innings.

Do you guys remember my picks:
England to win or draw
India to win or draw
New Zealand to win or draw.

I should have risked some money in this multibet but I am under an oath :-(

EDIT:
Who is going to rescue England? 54/6 LOL Lunch break.

I kinda wanted a .com for this, but I was too cheap last night Cheesy The .tk expires after a year.
I did a quick research and if the article is not wrong then .tk domains are free :-P
However, after a year you will need to renew.

Anyway, this seems very interesting idea and I think you can do it in your Loyce.club domain. You won't need to buy domains every time or worried about to renew them after a year.

For example:

http://loyce.club/DTcheck/still/IsLoyceStillOnDT
http://loyce.club/DTcheck/still/IsVodStillOnDT

6475  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LegendaryDR tried ripping me on: August 23, 2019, 11:09:28 AM
It's very clear that you are struggling with English. What account you are talking about? First I thought BitcoinTalk account then it seems localbitcoins account. Which one is the correct one or it's something else?

Side note: This is not Bitcoin discussion topic nor a scam accusations as well since you have not scammed. I think this is a reputation type topic but again you are trying to accuse a user without bringing any proof. My advice is that bring some proof and update the OP and move it to the reputation section. If you are right then users will take extra caution before dealing with LegendaryDR.

Cheers

I am also placing this 3fold because like this.
WAIT!

Do not blame me if you do not win. :-P

Seriously, I am not a professional tipster. In fact I have not place a bet yet in this selection. Not sure if I will be. I am just taking a break from gambling. But if I were to bet then I would go for it.
6477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 21, 2019, 04:31:20 PM
And I feel Warner could be back in his form
I really hope he comes back if he was chosen for the first eleven for the 3rd test. Warner is the most experienced batsman after Smith and he needs to take responsibilities. It's gonna be hard for him but he needs to show his personality in this match.

However, I still back my selection.
3 fold odd @3.26
6478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Burn Satoshis coins to end the threat of prices crashing - Paxful Founder on: August 21, 2019, 02:43:23 PM
This wouldn't be a 51% attack, it would have to be a hard-fork.
Oh yes, I messed up a bit.

Anyway, I do not think we need a hardfork as well. Just leave the coins there for the one it belongs to. I do not understand all these buzz surrounding it. Leaving those coins there in fact increase the value of Bitcoin. Less supply more demand.
6479  Economy / Services / Re: Need A Landing Page In Html on: August 21, 2019, 11:15:19 AM
I am looking for someone who can do a simple but eye catching landing page in html. I will discuss the details in pm. My budget is 25 dollars . I dont want a complex one. If anyone is interested in this job, please pm me . I will pay the money once the work is done and you need to show the design by installing in your server. After that I will make the payment. No upfront payment.

Simply go to themeforest: https://themeforest.net
Search for one page landing page or something like that. You will find hundreds of designs. Easy to use if you know basic HTML. With $25, you can pick a decent one, if you are lucky then very good one.

I think they both have a fair chances. At this point I am kinda inclined to Australia winning the series but so far England has shown the signs where they have put Australia in backfoot couple of times in this series. We still have 3 more matches to see and I don't think it will be long enough for England to bounce back into game if Australia opening batsman continuously fails to provide a good starting score in the next matches.

I only heard about Smith that he is not playing in the third match. This is already a very bad news for Australian team. I have no idea about the openers but if they perform (especially Warner) like they did in the first two Test then it will be very difficult for Australian team even to give a fight against English team.

In the last two match, if you take off Smith from Australian team then you will see there were no significant performance from the team. It was Smith who single handily fought against the English bowlers.
