6401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 27, 2019, 03:42:16 PM
That Ben Stokes batting performance was something special, wasn’t it. He was amazing in the World acup too, what a player. Two tests left in the Ashes now & it really is up for grabs.
Cricket (in fact all sports) is all about momentum and mindset. This win is a huge boost for English team and if they can capitalize this boost then we may see England will win this Ashes. There are still plenty of time left for the next Test and I hope both team will prepare to give their best.

One question is getting around in my head - Will we see Starc in any of the matches in this Ashes?

I have no such plan, but feel free to regularly archive pages and make an overview of the most frequent posters.
I am not very smart in data management and analysis like some of you :-P Sometimes I wonder myself how do you and other few users play around with all those information and post so much ideas :-)

~SNIP~
I lost around 30% of my bet all thanks to Sri Lanka and their pathetic batting performance. I still can't understand why Karunaratne came down the order. Anyway, if someone actually followed your tip(Including draw with good odds), they could have made bank.
I assume you cashed out at some point? Sorry to here the lose percentage bud.

I personally had a ton of fun playing around with this bet. England winning was a true shocker indeed, but Oz will probably come back strongly in the next match.
This Test match was in Australia's favor all the time. After losing their grip (England) in the first innings everyone in the world thought they are going to lose. Whatever the hope left that washed away when they lost their 9th wicket in the 2nd innings but that innings from Stokes was not in anyone's calculation. I thought all the time that I picked a losing slip but eventually I got a winning one and I am glad for that.

Since it was a 2 fold so choosing win or daw was a safe bet I thought.

The result is this:
My dev was a genius, he managed to recreate and rebroadcast a new transaction after dropping the hacker's one. Utterly stunning. Thank you everyone for the help nonetheless. Great learning experience for me.

Posts don't show as "edited" if they're edited within the first 10 minutes. However, I scraped this post after 6 seconds, and it shows exactly the same: http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5227/52275604.html
I don't think it was edited.

I meant my post :-P
This one.

I edited it and added the last quote and response.

Anyway, @StackGambler, I did not have any intention of participating your bounty whatsoever. I genuinely was giving my input to help you as I do for others. But after seeing the PM from Dave I started to have double mind. And I would say Dave was right at his observation. It needed to discuss in public and I think we had it.

I expected you asked for legitimate help and I am happy for that. I am also publicly apologizing if any of my move hurts your feeling. Just to let you know, hurting your feeling was not my intention.

I will see you around bud.

Thank you for your moral support.
You are welcome.

I would say, it's a positive sign for you. Let's hope that you will get the coins.

good Luck.

6406  Other / Archival / Re: Cloudbet scam on: August 27, 2019, 02:08:01 PM
How much is owed?
Why you ask? You smell a business here, right? "Pay us 5% upfront we will give you a layer, if you win you will give us x%" - that's your sales speech, right?

OP, don't fall for this nonsense game-protect. If he sent you any PM then ignore. See the feedback he received and the pathetic mess he is doing for the forum:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=874254

Anyway, back to your case, please contact with Coludbet Ronnie. I am sure he will find a solution for you.

Cheers

Hi all,

The Mixtum Review Campaign #2 is over. It is a pity that not all volunteers who applied for the campaign left their reviews, however we received them quite enough to be sure that it was a right decision to add the new Precise Payment mode and that it is popular among bitcoin holders.
Thank you for your time to test our mixer!
I was in both campaign and thank you Mixtum for the opportunity. I again apologies for the delay of giving you the 2nd review. We need more mixing companies and I hope you guys can be one of it.

Good luck.

I am sorry that you think I somehow tried scamming (not sure how that'd work) and I'm sorry that y'all think so low of people in an instant.
I am too sorry to see you in this situation. I hope you are innocent and legitimately recovered your lost fund. No hurt feeling please.
6409  Economy / Reputation / Re: StackGambler: coincidence or scam on: August 26, 2019, 08:37:54 PM
Who did I scam? Myself?
I am not accusing you nor can't deny the connections Dave bought here. I really hope that you asked for legitimate help and we tried our best and in that case I am glad that you were able to fix it.

There is a way to find a solution here. If we see no one come here with an accusation and proves of course then you are good. I know this things sounds very messy and will be very messy if anyone comes up with an accusations.

By the way, what is your stand about the bounty you offered?
6410  Economy / Reputation / Re: StackGambler: coincidence or scam on: August 26, 2019, 08:34:04 PM
I suggested DaveF to create this topic. I was one of the user who was helping the user StackGambler on that topic with ETFbitcoin. In the middle of the conversation I received a PM from DaveF (ETFbitcoin was also in the PM to field) and the fingers he points has very much possibility.

On that topic, the user successfully cancelled the old transaction and created a new one.

Then I wrote this to DaveF:
~snipped~
Since the tx confirmed I think asking him about the bounty is logical. If he was legitimately seeking for help then he will pay(of course that will not 100% confirm that your concern was wrong). Eventually I think we need to wait for someone to come up with an accusations against him.

I have archived the topic so that we do not lose any data. I truly hope that you are wrong bud. That's a lot of money for someone to lose.
Please notice the bold line.

The result is this:
My dev was a genius, he managed to recreate and rebroadcast a new transaction after dropping the hacker's one. Utterly stunning. Thank you everyone for the help nonetheless. Great learning experience for me.
Did you forget something?
The post was edited to add it later although it is not showing the dotted line underneath the post title.

Now honestly speaking, I am very much in doubt. I can not deny the references from DaveF and also one can not say that OP was not asking for legitimate help. Not responding to bounty he promised also is an indicator that DaveF may be right here.

I really hope DaveF is wrong here. Community feedback will be appreciated.

Cheers

Do you recommed that i communicate with seller over dispute?
Do not take anything from me as granted but if I was you then I would keep conversations in between me and dispute team at this stage.

Yes BTC is dropping but im planning to keep them, and i could buy them now for 9400€ instead of 10k+
I understand but if you are planning to keep them for long term then you are good.

I am archiving this topic for reference: http://archive.is/V2M8I

Someone PMed me with some concerns and seems like it's very possible. I will wait for the right person to make a post here or any other section.

Having said all that, you aren't 100% safe until you have some confirmations on the new transaction.
The 2nd one got one confirmation: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/1d85a3028958a8c7838dc9823c8d2ded7ee0b792b8f447af1209f29d4a4107e9

My dev was a genius, he managed to recreate and rebroadcast a new transaction after dropping the hacker's one. Utterly stunning. Thank you everyone for the help nonetheless. Great learning experience for me.

From my Bitcoin Core window I have successfully cancelled the tx and sent it to the new one, BUT it is not showing on the blockchain. My address I want it sent to is empty.

NEW transaction I created that is showing as sent out in Core: 1d85a3028958a8c7838dc9823c8d2ded7ee0b792b8f447af1209f29d4a4107e9 (showing as invalid on explorers)

Please someone help.
I think you made it!

I do not see the old tx in the block explorer anymore but I see the new one and it's going to your desired address which is this: 39U2gKxvdL25WZgRwxg1Y1a5k3cv1U3uad

You are good now :-)
6414  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I think im being scammed on: August 26, 2019, 07:30:54 PM
Great idea. I will ask seller if he can give me his details again so i can compare with my transaction.

Do everything in their platform. Do not do anything in telegram or any other platform.

Im not worried so much as im angry, becuase im loosing money becuase of stupid dispute. BTC is dropping.
I am not sure about your situation but if you have bought those BTC to keep for long term then do not worry. There is a better future is awaiting for BTC holders.

Also im leaving localbitcoins if they give him dispute and going to take seller in cort, not for the money but becuase of principe.
This literally means you are making their job easier for them and taking care of it for yourself. Nothing will stop them to make a wrong decision (if you are the legit owner of course) in this case. Do not tell them anything that they never asked. If you want to do something then you do it when is the right time.

6415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [URGENT] Need help cancelling a transaction from a hacker [0.03 BTC bounty] on: August 26, 2019, 07:22:59 PM
Then personally make a request to pools/miners to include your transaction.
How do someone will know who is a miner and how do someone contact them? I think OP needs a very quick movement. Do you know anyone in person?
6416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [URGENT] Need help cancelling a transaction from a hacker [0.03 BTC bounty] on: August 26, 2019, 07:17:20 PM
Can you check this article while I try to find any other resource for you: https://coincentral.com/cancel-unconfirmed-bitcoin-transaction/

Edit:
Zapping the wallet, abandoning tx, or a double spend from the wallet isn't working.
Okay that's sad news.
6417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [URGENT] Need help cancelling a transaction from a hacker [0.03 BTC bounty] on: August 26, 2019, 07:15:17 PM
A hacker breached my server and stole all the funds: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/1a62267aa812b8d289148192ff15cb2d6a1fccf40ce0e31278125191ff9d181b

A very low fee was used.

Just got back server access and am trying to cancel the transaction. Tried zapwallettxes and deleting the mempool, didn't work.

If anyone has a solution that would be excellent.

39U2gKxvdL25WZgRwxg1Y1a5k3cv1U3uad is the address I would like the funds sent to.

I am hoping someone from here can build a transaction for me to sign from the wallet and rebroadcast at a $5 fee since I don't know how to. Or, any other help or suggestion.

I will pay 0.03 BTC from the recovered amount to whoever can help out.

So sorry to see this. It's an attack Electrum users were facing. I think your client was Electrum?

I have no idea if there is a possibility but good thing is that the fees are too low (precisely 0.547 sat/B). This will give you some time to buy. I hope someone can give you some resources to save you.
6418  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I think im being scammed on: August 26, 2019, 07:10:34 PM
Can i just leave the topic open if anyone have any idea how i can beat agains that kind of scams?
Yeah, leave it open.

When i send the money i get original ticket where all details are showed and that is confirmation that i sended money, but i went to the bank and they gave me even detailed transaction confirmation.
Have you sent these information as evidence of your transaction in the dispute? If you have not then you should give all these details and ask localbitcoins.com to contact to your bank to verify the information.

Check if the seller gave you wrong details, even if he does then it's his fault, not yours.

I think localbitcoins will take some times before they settle it. If you are clean then I do not see anything for you to be worried.

Good luck bud, I am following your post.

6419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 26, 2019, 05:55:22 PM
I must say I am one of the unfortunate guy who missed to watch the end of Australia vs England Test. When it was obvious that England was losing and Australia needed only one wicket, I gave up watching it. There were nothing interesting left to follow anymore. I went out of the town and totally had a blank mind about the Test. Did not even follow the scores or talked to anybody about it. But later when I heard that England won(!) I was just speechless. I could not believe it. I will have this regret that I missed to see this phenomenal innings from Stokes and to feel the excitement of the live match. I only can imagine the density of the innings and wonder myself was it really possible? Cricket is at it's best. Thanks Stokes.

Now back to my tip (days ago before all three Test to start):

England to win or draw (WIN, it was impossible)
India to win or draw (win)
New Zealand to win or draw (win)

Result: WIN (3 fold)

If anyone used it then congratulations. I did not gambled for the record LOL

Royse777 is obviously not a spammer, but I haven't checked the posts of those other members.  I think this sort of data can easily identify spammers and members post bursting for sig campaigns.  Nice job, LoyceV.
I am actually a heavy poster lately. Most of the days I end up posting 10 to 20 posts or even more. All depends on my mood and topic I am engaged.

@LoyceV
It's a nice state and I see my name in the top (I mean in the screenshot) :-P
By the way, do you have plane to have a section of weekly toppers? I am sure I will be one of them most of the weeks LOL
