562  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: September 01, 2013, 09:04:27 AM
Look at the hashpower now, 825T/s. If the mining's price is higher than 0.0018, investors must/will lose. And also, selling don't have much profit rate now.

Network hashrate is back to ~575 TH/s, from 770TH/s a few hours ago - was there a lot of equipment turned on and then off, or just a lucky streak?

Fluctuations are really never due to equipment getting turned on and off

Dunno if that's true.  One rather cynical explanation is that drops occur when the less honest suppliers decide to stop private mining with ASICs paid for on pre-orders and finally send a batch out.
Yea it cleary looks like there is big drops when BFL(i guess and possibly some other company's to) is sending out big shippments after they have been illeagally mining with there customers devices for days(or weeks).....

Here it cleary looks extra sucpicous at 13-14/8 and 23-24/8 for example, but really any downspike of 100-150 Th/s in the 1 day avg is really to large and probably due to miners taken offline and sent out in batches by a scamcompany.
It's hardly because of any GPU miners stopping to mine btc and miners stalling during people's sleep or on hot days, that's clearly a very small factor these days.
563  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: August 30, 2013, 07:07:31 AM
Deprived, why has there been no report/valuation made of LTC-ATF in the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=112876.0 for the past 18 days ?
The contract stipulates that it should be made at least every fortnight! :

"... At least once per fortnight (with the goal being to do it weekly) a report will
be prepared and posted in the forum thread linked above. This will include a
current valuation of the NAV and NAV/U for the fund. This valuation will be in
LTC (a BTC valuation will also be posted). ..."
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC-GLOBAL] LTC-ATF on: August 28, 2013, 09:22:26 AM
hey deprived, how we doing the last few weeks?  Lot of change in LTC/BTC, lots of volatility in a whole bunch of securities recently
Yea looks like reports is a bit delayed, 16 days since the last one now so the minimum of a report once every fortnight has not been held this time....
565  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange w/ Options, DRIP, 2FA, API, CSV, etc. on: August 27, 2013, 01:14:23 PM
This is clearly an error that you need to change the wording on Burnside:
".... Your participation here is not without risk. You will lose some or all of your BTC deposited here. Only deposit here what you are willing to lose. ....".
I'm pretty sure you don't mean you garantee people will lose some or all there BTC, but rather that you want to make it clear to people that they may lose some or all there BTC they deposite....
566  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest BFL z ASIC 600GH / s - dividends paid on: August 23, 2013, 04:40:20 PM
What is it, a stock simular to APG1 on cryptostocks ?
You have something mining now and is going to get 1 or more ASIC's bought from KnCMiner ?

It would probably be good for you if you had the description in Englich to and not only in Polish, google translate isen't that good at translating Polish.

I'll take a wild guess that googles translating means you have bought a 100 GH miner from KnC and was aiming to buy 6 more miners from KnC, 400GH versions with the help from investors ?
I think the pricing of KnC's biggest miner is 6995 $ at the moment(not 6999$) and it will be less than 5000 $ when they come to November delivery's, if the orderbook will fill up that long thou, a 5000 usd order will only be slightly better then the last few days of 6995 usd orders and hardly a good buy by then.

0,56 cent per Kwh is very high powercost if that is US cents you mean so running any mining operation in Polen if you have such rates there isen't such good ide, even an ASIC miner will get effected sooner or later by the powercosts and the one with the higest rates will get into the negative return fastest.

Switching to buying anything from BFL is almost garateed to be a bad move, that company have over a year backlog on most of there products and such scammers shoulden't be rewarded with more preorders whether they will ever deliver any new generation miners and whether that will be before or after there backlog of the old ones.
Most likely BFL dosen't have any new generation miners or at least they will not (be able to) deliver anything in correct time to buyers and will use customers devices to mine with themself and only deliver in masses to buyers when the miners is close to unprofitable to mine with for themselfs with.
Also if those cards from BFL is projected to hit the market in November/December they may very well be unprofitable (at the price they charge for them) to mine with from the first day there delivered.

How is dividend calculated to shareholders now and how will it be calculated when you recieve your 100 GH miner you ordered and how will it be calculated if/when any other miners from KnCMiner or from other companys is bought ?

LTC, Y U NO SHOOT TO MOON?

But...but....GOX! They said I'd be a zillionaire!

Honestly, I have to wonder about btc-e's liquidity...0.5ltc for LTC withdrawal is a huge fucking deterrent to storing your money wisely off-exchange. It ensures that a bunch of small players are always locked in to patch over any errors or overextensions on their part.

That said, gox can choke on a big herpe-covered dick. Meanwhile, I will utilize whatever other service works even if it requires gambling on some slightly shady operations where my funds may go poof.

Has been lowered to .1 LTC.
When did they lower the wthdrawal fee ? I withdraw some LTC less than a week ago and then it was still the high 0,5 LTC fee.

573  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast Store is Live! on: August 16, 2013, 10:33:34 PM
The HashFast store is live and we have roughly 300 Baby Jets left.

If you have 300 left, it's still time to take a group picture!
I can't wait seeing all those cuties piled up.  Smiley

to be fair, KNC is still selling units in all categories, yet fail to list the # left in stock.  so by your measure, since they haven't sold out yet and they've been selling since June, they're much worse off.  Tongue

I don't think KnCMiner ever mentioned a max number of devices they would produce in there 1st generation but if you assume that they ship there first units the 25th september for example you can easily get an approximation of the total number of units they might ship before there shippment window for the first batch preliminary will close.

But there is no specified max  number of units of each type(other than there projected total max capacity) as the customers choose what type of device they want and the number of produced units per day will probably be routhly the same no matter what type of devices people buy.
Also if/when the delivery window will close depends on if other companys on the mining market delivers substancial amount of units or not, so in reallity there is no set #units decided to be produced before we get to december at least.....

574  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] (MGMP) MICRO GLARI MINING PROJECT on: August 16, 2013, 08:21:02 PM
Quote
Dividend Payment 0.0024096 0.0026 sended arrived at shareholder side 0.00195261! Dividend STOP!
Is cryptostocks taking some fee they forgot to mention when issuer pay out dividend ?
The dividend on MGMP seems to have shrunk a lot in relation to GMP's dividends's the last couple of weeks.
1000x MGMP's dividend / GMP's dividend  for comparing them on equal ground here:
this week          69,72%
the week before 92,46%
2 weeks ago      91,33%
3 weeks ago    159,52%
4 weeks ago    205,67%

Your calculations are not correct, please stop spreading FUD.
Your calculations show a avarage dividend rate above 100%
MGMP allways payed above 100% dividend, you should rather check the Cryptostocks fees.

MGMP was created as a sublevel of GMP for small investors do to the strong rise of the exchange rate, so they can get involed in the GMP project.....
This is what cryptostocks page about fees say:

"Fees
Fees are charged to keep this exchange up and running as well as to finance its continuous development.

Share trade in fees

    * The user trading in shares pays the trade in fee stipulated by the project owner in addition to the trading fees
    * The project owner pays the trading fees for trade ins.

These fees are subject to change."

I dont spread any FUD, the calculations are correct, the dividend in MGMP have gone down relative to what have been paid out in GMP and there is nothing mentioned on cryptostocks about any fees for paying out divided, so if cryptostocks charge a fee for paying out dividend then Cryptostocks forgot to mention it, if the reason for the relative decrease in dividend MGMP verses GMP is because of that cryptostocks have fees for paying out dividend(,whether that is a new thing or not), at least it explains the reason for it then. I was just asking a question about why it was like that, because with the info cryptostocks have avaliable at the moment the trendchange that happened diden't make any sense.

"...Usualy it works like this:
MGMP is collecting funds for buying new GMP shares at a level of 1:1000, but when you rather would like to make profit at this moment trough dividends or share sales, you are totaly wrong in this project.

If you dnt understand it dnt get involved.
Well i do understand how GMP and MGMP works, how did you get the impression i don't ?
Did i ever say i wanted to make profit at the moment on dividend or by trading MGMP(or even GMP shares for that matter), or did i even mention having any MGMP/GMP shares at the moment ? ...No i diden't say i wanted to make profit throu dividends or by selling shares....

If the relative change in dividend payouts between GMP and MGMG haden't been because of some Cryptostocks fees, it would have been importent information for a potential investors wanting to invest in MGMP/GMP to know(if there then had been a change in dividend distrubution policy between GMP/MGMP) so they could make the correct decition for there future investments, whether they should invest in MGMP or GMP.....

Both dividends and price on GMP and MGMP is (understandably) pretty low at the moment(both compared to what it has been in the past and compared to what it might become in the future).
When you will get your 5 Asic's delivered from the Stockholm based Swedish company KnCMiner in late September or early October and get those up and mining and when/if Avalon will compensate you for your losses for you sending Avalon some of your FPGA's for the trade in program and also compensate you for not recieving any Avalons(at that discounted trade-in price) on correct(many months ago now) time, then im sure both the price per share will jump up and the dividend in both GMP and MGMP will be to your satisfaction given the current situation on the mining market at that time. So GMP and even more so MGMP might be a great buy at the moment...

P.S. I see that you now have mentioned in another post that Cryptostocks in fact do charge a fee for paying out dividend! Is that a new thing they have added recently as it's not mentioned on there page aboout fees yet or has it always been like that ?

Cryptostocks should of course keep there page about there fees up to date and mention the fee for paying out dividend, so another thing for Kumala to do.....
575  Economy / Speculation / Re: AVAdayTrader... I'm here to change your lives. on: August 16, 2013, 05:17:09 AM
Foreign exchange markets are said to be heavily manipulated. Without insider knowledge or HFT tools, I'm not seeing much opportunity in a broadly static market

I don't really understand this post, who do you believe is manipulating the forex market? I surely have no insider knowledge, and I'm not sure what an HFT tool is (but I'm searching it now). I just think that a 4 trillion a day market would be hard to manipulate unlike bitcoin where anyone with a few million in btc can swing the market either way.
I guess it's a High Frequency Trading tool.

Thanks for reply.

How many USB Miners do I need to make 1 BTC ? And do you know what the price would be ?

A USB miner is a very bad investment, it will not generate you the 0,6 BTC or so it costs you to buy it.
At the next difficulty in 1 days time it will generate around 0.0032 btc per day or so for 10-11 days then it will be 25-35% less for the next 10-11 days and so on for a few weeks untill the ASICs will start flood the market in sept/oct and then a USB miner will hardly generate anything.

At next difficulty change, 13 august you will need around 312 USB miners to generate 1 btc a day(but only for the first 10 days or so, after that the generation will decrease) and they will cost you around 19 656 USD(105 USD/BTC) 187,2 btc(at 0,6 btc per USBminer)

So to estimate what you can expect to get back from an USB miner will be something like

first 10 days 5,33%
day 11-20 4,10% 9,43%
day 21-30 3,16% 12,59%
day 31-40    2,43% 15,02%
day 41-50  1,87% 16,89%
after this the generation vill probably drastically decrease so it's pretty safe to asume they will never give back more than 20% of what they cost if bought today.

In it's entire lifetime a USB miner bought today will probably generate less than 0,12 btc so you need 9 or more of them to generate 1 btc over there lifetime and the cost for those 9 USBminers is around 5,4 btc today.
579  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hardware to get started on: August 12, 2013, 09:05:49 PM
You should avoid buying anything from ASICMINERS like the mentined "asicminer block erupter Blades" as there products is way to overpriced, you will never make the money back on them, same thing with there USB miners, at least at current prices.

BFL is more or less a scam, they deliver way to late after they probably have been mining with there customers devices and they have a huge backlog so avoid Butterflylabs.

Avalon turned to a scam company to with there batch 2 devises that they delivered very late after probably mining with them for a couple of months so they are no good either.

Best bet was Knc miner from Sweden i guess if they will come throu and start deliver in late september or early october for those that can get there ASIC up and running the first day KnC deliver ASIC's. But it will only take a few days with KnC's production capacity to make it unprofitable to mine even with the most efficient and best priced ASICS at todays prices so it's to late to buy from them to.

So unless ASICMINERS cuts down there prices to 1/10 or so of todays, there is no ASICminer that can be delivered now or that you can order now that will be profitable over it's lifetime at the prices ASIC's cost now.

If you think USD/BTC prices will go up in the long run thou, then you are probably better off to just buy BTC and sit on them for a while instead of buying any ASICminer today.
