OT:
The survival chances for Tinan's passengers are a mere 1%, and even if they are located, the likelihood increases only to 15%.
We currently lack the capability to rescue anyone in such a scenario.
That makes me wonder are we ready for the space exploration? How can we venture into the vast unknown when we haven't fully explored our own backyard?
I've read they had a safety mechanism in form of a timer that drops ballast automatically and makes the vessel go to surface. They also had an inflatable balloon thing that they could use to resurface if there was no power or there was engine damage. There's a chance they have resurfaced and are drifting somewhere waiting to be found but even if that's the case will die from lack of oxygen tomorrow because they can't open the hatch from the inside. "can't open the hatch from the inside." What??? really? Thats retarded if true. If nothing else a small acetylene torch can cut a hull hole.

Don't mix up exploration and tourism.

By the way,..... I would like to mention:
Some of you may know that a bit over a week ago, Binance US had stated that it may lose its banking services, so it suggested that either people withdraw their USD or convert them over to USDT.
I converted all mine over to USDT and then re-established my buy/sell orders on Binance US as part of the BTC/USDT pair, and so it was a bit strange that about 3.5 hours ago (calculated from the time of this post), I was waiting for my sell order at $28,900 to fill, and then all of a sudden all of my orders filled from $28,900 all the way up to $129,400... .. and there was some kind of a fat finger or something, and then the price moved back down to $28,800-ish... so I bought back all the BTC that I had sold (plus a little extra), and reset my BTC sell orders and also ended up with some extra USDT out of the deal, too.. .. I don't really want to disclose the amounts, but it surely adds up... and I have not exactly added it up.. I suppose that I could do some math at some point.
I would have had my BTC sell orders (with the USDT pair) up to $150k; however, at the time that I set my orders (maybe a week and a half ago), their system did not allow me to set sell orders higher than $130k... but this fat finger, or whatever it was, had ended up buying bitcoin all the way up to $138k. .. When I just reset my sell orders, it allowed me to set them up to $145k... so usually those kinds of fat fingers do not happen twice, even though sometimes some variation of them can happen when the order books get cleared out like that.. or who knows what caused such a thing?
The market and the orders on Binance US's BTC/USDT pair seem to be working normally now, and it is difficult to know what caused such a spurt in the price.. whether a bug, a fat finger, or just very illiquid markets.. or even manipulation?
It is difficult to conclude without knowing the amount of Bitcoin, but i do hope it was significant amount for you! I mean we do see flash crashes every now and then, why not the opposite... Hopefully it is enough to mitigate the risk of not holding your own keys. @ JJG

just reading this thread from starting (for fun) and i discovered this user loaded, he bought BTC80,000 for $1million, and today these coins are worth billions of dollars, and not sold yet, he is hodling. (if you want to see assets, then go to his profile and you will see his address, which is mixed after sometimes, but after clicking some next>next>next address you can find his some initial address which balance worth billions. No, he got them from a Mt. Gox Silk road withdraw bug and he didnt sell because transparent ledger. And he is in jail for it right now.

May 25 (Reuters) - WhatsApp has filed a lawsuit in Delhi against the Indian government seeking to block regulations coming into force on Wednesday that experts say would compel Facebook’s (FB.O) messaging app to break privacy protections, sources said. Fucking Scumbags outlawing free private speech, this is a test for world freedom. If this stands then other "democratic" Govs will follow suit.

A CrossFit dude's mind Grapples with weights and bitcoin Strength and wealth in sight The deadlift is the cornerstone of strength training. You train 70% of your musculature at once, it takes dedication, consistency, and hard work to become a successful deadlifter. The rewards are fenomenal. You truly have an insatiable, unquenchable love for pulling heavy load off the ground. The muscle burn after training to endure is addictive, isn't it? Atleast for me personally. Funny the jpg didn't show up for me on that post, glad you quoted it. (might have been during the imgur issues) I carried a sbc block into my addition a decade ago and tried to move it a month ago and was too weak. Sucks getting old!

So these days US bans bitcoin while China and Russia unban bitcoin. Its a BRICS world in the making. Crazy how there is an Inverse Cramer ETF yet the bitcoin ETF was always tantalizingly too risky (or whatever flaky garbage was peddled to the public).
This move by the SEC is meant to precipitate legislation from an absolutely inept congress, not that I care to delve into US politics... And soon the Fed will be up for their next chicken-Wednesday. Rates will pause and maybe inflation will be "behind us". Most cannot digest the fact that a decrease in the rate of inflation is still inflation, and that is why I love the corn.
Re: Old people in bitcoin I always thought Jimbo was an old timer on here, but maybe not quite 77 . I have been on here lurking and otherwise for a bit, and always felt relatively young. OpSec regarding a/s/l always wigged me out so never wanted to dive into much detail. I've seen others on here unintentionally dox themselves, and think its correlated with age.
We might not need to give any exact age, but it still can be helpful to understand a sort of age group ... I'll give you a hint of my age as you like to collect data on us, I'm one of the first 4 IBM and Apple factory certified peops in my state.

Good point. But, I am gambling virtual profits from buying later instead of now. Sure, Bitcoin could go up. I would lose out on a bit of coin. But past history has show that during corrections, FUD has an amplifying effect on the price dip. This is just short term speculation. Worst case scenario, price goes up instead of going down. I stop limit at 1/3rd of the Binance FUD candle. Still not bad. Either way I make more coins from the FUD because the Bitcoin is undervalued by pure speculation (how long does that last?). Thats how I see it, at least... Who would ever go 80x, I wonder?

I am not sure how it's related to Coinbase. I saw the email address was Coinbase@pro.space. But this is the received email. If a user uses their email on the internet, it's not hard for a scammer to collect email information from the internet and use them for their purposes. The email they got is pretty much an old scam. I am surprised these scam attempts still work, and people fall for it. The scammers send the same email to thousands of emails. One Reddit member said the Bitcoin address he received from a scammer to pay; he already got five $400 transactions. This means five people got scammed. I did not see anyone commenting on whether they are Coinbase users. Life is a series of IQ tests. it was 20 thou years ago and that's why we got so smart...it ain't now and that's why we are getting progressively dumb and dumberer...I have a front view as i see the level of students' intellect and preparation with a noticeable downslope in the last 12-15 years, accelerating after 2020. From my point of view, i don't see how it could be reversed. I don't know what is causing it, and why there is no urgent alarm sounded so far. We are on the way to 'idiocracy', maybe governed by the AI 'overloads'. I am sorry to paint a bleak picture...maybe someone has an explanation...I would like to hear it. The Moron Minority control all the pulpits.

A few years back I was looking into going through the hassle of setting up some machines and toyed with the idea of putting those chocolate coins in them just for the shits and grins if they got broken into. Very cool! You made an expert-level Piñata. Lol, considered it but never followed through, money broker license is too much of a pita if your not part of the in crowd.
