561  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock-to-Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity on: April 26, 2021, 03:57:54 PM
S2F needs this kind of exposure and apart form the modeling itself, it could easily become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Right now, S2F's been moving like a clockwork machine. If you zoom out the chart you can see how the price bounced on the Stock/Flow Light Blue line.

562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FED RES Bank Secretly Bails out BITCOIN - Too the Moon & Beyond on: April 26, 2021, 03:50:16 PM
The headline of this thread is massively misleading, the original on reddit goes as "Never forget that the Federal Reserve secretly gave $16 trillion dollars in bailouts to the big banks."
Before posting always please make a point and then consider whether to submit your thread here.
We all now why bitcoin started as it started on Jan. 3rd 2009: it's a long game and nobody said it was easy.

Safely going above 50K.  Cool
Relax, calm down, enjoy
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 26, 2021, 03:42:51 PM
I'm sure Napoli will get three points in Turin this afternoon and this way they will get closer to Juventus, which means Champions League instead of Europa League. Napoli can win by two goals here, maybe 2-1.
Lazio Milan is a difficult game to predict, however it can be that both teams will score.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 26, 2021, 03:37:13 PM
That was a hell of a win by Borussia! 5 goals out of 12 shots on target and now Arminia gets closer and closer to the relegation playoffs! Leipzig, on the other hand, won its game and recovered three points from Bayern Munich even though we all know that's not enough to scare the Bavarians.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 25, 2021, 09:05:47 AM
Complicated match for Borussia Monchengladbach against an opponent coming from a good moment and very motivated to conquer salvation and in fact Arminia Bielefeld could therefore avoid defeat in a match with one goal for each side.
With the possibility of finishing in the top four now gone, as it was last year, Rose will do everything possible to allow Borussia to play in Europe again next season but today they will not win with Arminia.
567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 25, 2021, 09:01:16 AM
After many years of bitcoin I can say I reach some sort of enlightenment.
I don't care what happens, really.
I own Bitcoin. FULL STOP
I leave the rest to others (trading, investing, being scammed etc.).
Remember, you OWN bitcoin. You have skin in the game. Don't get fooled by price swings.
568  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 25, 2021, 08:56:42 AM
I think with users like this we really don't have to worry about freebitco.in running out of bitcoin anytime soon.

God bless people like him, they're paying for our APYs  Grin
That's how it works and it will always be like that. Every site has a few crazy gamblers that by losing a lot keep the bankroll always replenished and constantly growing. In the end, it's all about psychology I think, maybe the guy got those btc almost for free and he has way more so he doesn't care. Who knows?
For the site that is good anyway.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 25, 2021, 08:53:36 AM
PSG, Lille, Monaco and Lyon are making this final part of Ligue 1 super exciting! I agree with Pulsar77, no doubt regarding PSG and I bet they will now keep the lead until the end.
While Angers doens't look able to stop Monaco, Lyon - Lille tonight is a must watch: Will Lyon be able to keep their chances of winning the title alive? I doubt that.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 25, 2021, 08:49:15 AM
Real Madrid missed a big chance yesterday and I'm sure Barcelona will take this opportunity to get even closer to both teams of Madrid! I'm sure Barcelona will dominate Villareal and get these 3 points, after that Barça will play with Granada and with another win we might find the blaugrana leading La Liga.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 24, 2021, 07:27:29 PM
I usually like to gamble on sports from my laptop. I can check out multiple sites for odds and compare them side by side easier on the laptop vs mobile. My main wallet is also only connected to my laptop and not my phone.

Dude, this is obvious. I don't know people who prefer their 6-7 inches displays to laptop or desktop  Grin
Playing with laptop is much more efficient in terms of comfort (you don't need to hold mobile in your hands) and immersion into the game itself. With laptop it's more likely you're on real poker match  Smiley

But i prefer my desktop with 32'', even better
The bigger the screen the bigger the delusion when you lose, remember!  Grin
As I said I'm against playing on mobile for a whole lotta reason. What if it would be possible to play with AR/VR devices, woudl you play that way?
I don't know why crypto casinos don't explore that opportunity.
572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 24, 2021, 07:24:04 PM
I'm assuming everyone who know maths has entered extreme short positions in preparation for the cataclysmic death of bitcoin? Congrats to those who've divested wisely and at high margin. The sell walls are insurmountable.
Good to see you here, you are the best bullish indicator
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 24, 2021, 07:20:50 PM
Whohoo Mainz what a great win against Bayern Munich! I don't care about having lost my bet (like many of you guys, admit that) because the game was exceptional, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in Bundesliga.
Now, hopefully, Leipzig will recover three points and get closer to Bayern.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: April 24, 2021, 07:12:44 PM
If Bitcoin will keep sliding down expect all you altcoins to crash 10x, 100x worst than bitcoin. In dollar valuation it will be like an a-bomb because these coins will crash on both a btc and a usd level.
Go back into btc before it's too late.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 24, 2021, 07:08:31 PM
To be honest, I'm a little disappointed with today's game [West Ham Chelsea] .. West Ham did not live up to my expectations. While it is likely that the outcome of the East-Southwest London confrontation might have been different had Chelsea played Real Madrid before the game against West Ham.
Tuchel is truly responsible for the Chelsea's miracle after Frankie Lamapard got sacked back in January.
Premier League is not a goal since a while now but Tuchel's Chelsea may win Champions League so it will interesting to see if he can make it.
Next year, Chelsea will become again a problem for Man City and Man Utd.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: April 23, 2021, 05:46:15 PM
nonsense
I hope you're happy about your April alt season month; do you like the massive drop of these useless shitcoins which are dumping so hard? My portfolio is unaffected as I'm 100% on BTC and my BTC holdings are the same as yesterday.
In actual fact, I bought more so I have more BTC.
577  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-04-21] Governments can stop Bitcoin by shutting down mining, says Electric on: April 23, 2021, 05:41:55 PM
Bitcoin can function without any problems if 80% - 90% of the hash rate is turned off.

And so?  Blocks would be slow for a while and then retarget.  Other places would step in. Prices for mining equipment would spike, old equipment might get spun up (certainly not CPU or GPUs).

not only those things, but also:  transactions on off-chain networks would continue as if nothing had happened. Looking at the logs on my c-lightning node, it seems that's exactly what's been happening throughout this "shutdown" Roll Eyes

Excellent point.  This was just a non-issue that someone decided to publish and the author of the article didn't or couldn't ask penetrating questions about the obvious flaws in it.
They never reach a lowest point, never. These guys are always great at achieving the worst possible journalistic point of view.
Not only they clearly don't understand shit of what they are talking about but they also spread fud around.
God, I hate them
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 23, 2021, 05:38:44 PM
The very last thing we should be doing is gambling on smartphones! The addiction can grow higher when using a smartphone as the brain will unconsciously associate the familiar and trusted device to the gambling activity and, trust me, that's the ultimate way to lose all your money.
If you like to gamble, separate that activity from anything else.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 23, 2021, 05:35:18 PM
That is some serious red mayhem going on.
Relax and take a break, remember why you are bitcoiners and why you are here.
Don't panic.
You know the game.
Been playing the game since 2013/2014.
Too experienced to be panicked.
$100k is where the eyes are now.
Smiley
Sometimes is nice to be reminded this, I know most of you here are on the same page.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transactions Fee Are More Expensive Than Ever on: April 22, 2021, 09:00:45 PM
Why do you need to transact so badly? Do you all have life changing money on the line? Use this crazy fee spike to learn how to properly use the Lightning Network and you will probably thank me later.
You guys want supply and demand to drive the price high but you don't want supply adn demand to regulate the fee market.
If you know how it works, get out of the game and buy doge.
