@Dev - As the new wallet is adopted by the users, exchanges and pools....before the 340,000 block, the "Hashinator ", will still be able to hammer the network?
I know that after the fork at 340,000 he's pretty much out of business. But until that block the old and new wallets will coexist, no?

The Dark Gravity Wave is going to be a huge help....thanks for this.

multi is still several blocks out...remember.

Remember when cryptsy first imploded...cryptopia had a special for cryptsy orphans but the feeling then was we're not paying a fee to be listed on any exchange. Casino is def hampered by the current exchange situation.
Take a good look at livecoin.net......based in London so with the bahamas deal they might have an interest. Seem to be an up and coming exchange and I'm hearing good things. Going to drop an email to them. Good luck.

@Dev - I know it's been a tough last few days....but when you have a chance....please take a look at livecoin.net I hear its a very decent exchange. Thanks for all you do.

patience man.... first the wallet has to clear the dev, then bittrex has to install and synch and only THEN will they turn it on. I imagine it will happen when it happens. why do people keep asking the same thing over and over?

Going to check them out. On the homestretch now before halving. Less than a 1000 .

Bath....sit up and shutdown....let the man work
|
|
|
putting things in perspective....current network hash rate 793,934 is the equivalent of over 7,000 A2 scrypt miners. And a difficulty over 8000. Think about that....THAT's a huge amount of mining power
Litecoin is reporting network hash of 1,600,000 and diff 55,751.

I hold 500K on yoBit and waaaay more on bittrex. Aint't selling on YoB.....can't sell on Trex. got a feeling most folks are holding tight....total trades on sites still trading is around $2,000 for the day...that's what less than 5 btc? things are going to jump once 'trex comes back online.

It's going to be that way a while, unlax.

Bittrex was a very high percentage (over 90%) of trading on the coin. The constant chain lockups were a problem for them when people deposited or withdrew raising complaints and support tickets. The Dev works closely with them and when they learned there was a major change coming in wallet they did the smart thing. Sit on the side and wait for the new wallet.
The other exchanges will also have to update their wallets to work with new multi algo wallet.

Lots of butthurt in here lately. "I buy at 166, now at 100." Whose fault is that? And you know how this works since you have a coin advertisement in your sig line.
"Oh my God, Jared took a vacation...how dare he!!!!" Get over yourselves. People want instant gratification these days. They buy and sell on panic. Thats why people lose money.
Well said....seems like the guys with all those spammy ads in their sigd seem to know the LEAST about crypto.

Does anyone realize as long as Dev is here answering the same question over and over......he isn't working on the MA wallet update? Have they read the past pages and understand that an exchange runs a wallet to be able to function and if the person/group that's pounding the network with almost 500,000 mh locks up the chain it makes it almost impossible to deposit/withdraw for them as well as users? I know I know, they just jump in the thread and ask questions becasue they're too lazy to read. Rant over...

It would seem at this point Bittrex has cancelled all open buy and sell orders.
Yep, My sell orders were canceled as well.
|
|
|
This doesn't seem to be Bittrex "fault"
|

according to Blockexplorer 319382 was 19 hours ago. I'll be so happy when MA is up and running
Now 319493 shows on my synched wallet generated just a few seconds ago 1:17 EST Chains moving again.
But now Bittrex wallet is "under maintenance"

I understand you, they targeted gamers in the start....but are trying for a much more in users. But isn't every coin. Except when a dev targets and names a coin to a product (potcoin, cannibis, etc for instance) that's a huge limitation to a coin.

Probably the same people that's been harasssing XVG for a while now. Totally locks up the block chain for many hours sometimes. snagged block 289,306 about 30 minutes ago.
