This isn't very symbolic, uses gradients and includes a basic circuit board style so isn't exactly on brief  Grin

565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using a separate bank account for Bitcoin income on: July 25, 2013, 11:24:55 PM
People should stop using their private bank accounts to conduct business, if your trading btc go and open a business account.

568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. bank closing all of my deposit accounts because of bitcoins on: July 13, 2013, 07:50:13 AM
WAR ON BITCOIN WAR ON BITCOIN ! ! , it's this hysterical over excited posting that seems to be a part of every thread which is simply efforts to manipulate pricing.

In December last year I had my yorkshire bank accounts frozen after £15,000 of trading of Bitcoin this was lots of bank transfers in and out of my private account, the surge of business  activity into a private bank account had caused the freeze not Bitcoin. They were happy for me to continue buying/selling bitcoin as long as I opened a business account within a month. In the end I opened the business account with Barclays who didn't have a problem with me buying and selling Bitcoin either.

571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [CDDDCP] Centre for Digital Decentralised Disease Control and Prevention  on: July 06, 2013, 10:03:51 AM
I was more than a little worried about this when I heard about it, is there any way this could cross over into Bitcoin? (see below) would it be wise to take maybe one or two LTC a day just to be on the safe side?.

[CDDDCP] Centre for Digital Decentralised Disease Control and Prevention has just released this advice

Altcoin Sleeping Syndrome (A.S.S) is spreading like wildfire fortunately it's not fatal but every crypto enthusiast needs to seek help immediately early symptoms are a lack of a sense of humour difficulty in sleeping, red inflamed eyelids, folllowed by numbness and the falling off of extremity body parts. The [CDDDCP] Centre for Digital Decentralised Disease Control and Prevention is asking for anyone showing any of the symptoms above to head straight to the nearest altcoin exchange twice a day morning and evening take a large dose of Litecoin continue this course until all symptoms have been eradicated.

NOTE : Any body parts lost due to the failure to take Litecoin may not grow back.

This rapid acceleration in altcoins is interesting to watch however its only going to lead to one result which I believe is only a few weeks away...................

574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin , logo tweak ? on: July 06, 2013, 03:13:47 AM
If you notice the original logo at the top of the thread I just took a swing at a fresh design as a step up from that one, as that I think it serves it's purpose well ..... Someone might come along with another version in time though  Grin

575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin , logo tweak ? on: July 05, 2013, 07:18:42 AM
Thanks for the critique Grin like I mentioned it's a couple of weeks into using blender the render could indeed be terrible but it's nothing like the result you get from using illustrator.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin , logo tweak ? on: July 05, 2013, 02:05:44 AM
A couple of weeks into learning blender, though this one is missing some detail thought I would include any of the finished renders here  Grin

578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ASICS killing BTC ? on: July 03, 2013, 09:44:07 AM
Face it, the reason that Bitcoin took off the way it has so far was because everyone could participate, profitably, with a minimal investment.

Ummm .... no, sorry.  Profitability in mining is not "the reason that Bitcoin took off".

Isn't the top quote stating profitability as one aspect the others being participation and minimal investment?............

Bitcoin needs to stand up and be counted against Litecoin, ripple etc. Maybe we all sing only from the song sheet born from our vested interest, however if it's now impossible to state anything negative towards btc without being branded an altcoin sympathiser then it's impossible to have a reasonable discussion.

Early miner Enthusiastic nerd that nobody understood just doing it for the kicks? or lazy early adopter expecting something for nothing.

Modern miner Fat corporate cat in an ill fitting suit salivating with greed or valiant bitcoin soldier deffender of the blockchain?
