Wow 500GH/s for $250,000
I'd hate to think what would happen if BFL actually did start shipping MiniRigs ... coz that's like $750,000 per "MiniRig" Tongue

Yeah.  But how do you power a minirig lol.  I don't know a whole lot about the thermodynamics of the units, but if a BFL Jalapeno is 50w @ 5 GH/s, then 1500 GH/s = 12,000 watts..  You would need to rewire your house.  Some people bought more than one.

There is going to be headline news everywhere:  "BFL MiniRig owners getting doors busted in by police due to grow-op-level power consumption" lol.
Hmm - my Jalapeno is 32W (5.4GH/s) ... the few I have seen have all been in the 30s except that one that you are quoting that said it was 50W for some reason - my guess is he couldn't work out how to measure it Tongue

Anyway as I said "if BFL actually did start shipping" - who knows when that will be.

Yeah, I guess results may vary.  Still 9000 watts @ 32w per 5.4GH/s if 280 jalapeno's are in a minirig.

Didn't mean to help derail the thread though Tongue

Back to the blades!

570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin transaction stuck at 0 confirmations for the last 35 minutes? on: May 10, 2013, 10:14:45 PM
shouldn't it go to like difficulty 1-2 with only 750 kh/s network speed?

once they solve all the blocks to get up to the difficulty change, it'll probably go down quite a bit, but until then.. hash and wait!
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoins ESCROW - 1% Fee on: May 10, 2013, 09:48:38 PM

dont worry too much about this one, worry about the next one which is a legit p2p coin but has the wallet stealer in it.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQ COIN AT 9 BITCOIN EACH?!!? on: May 10, 2013, 09:26:14 PM
Strange, but not only the 9 bitcoin each, someone buyed 5.000 BQC at 9 bitcoin each... WTF?

44,999.995 BTC total @ $118/BTC = $5,309,999.41
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] New Coin, NetCoin on: May 10, 2013, 09:24:55 PM
Report scammer OP, also "NetCoin" is already used name, it will be used for upcoming MC2 coin.

Yeah.  That's probably why they chose the name, we already knew it was coming.. but they wouldn't post it in newbies lol.
