I'm not really sure if it's worth or not because not all people who're organizing event is to adopt and help people to invest in Bitcoin.
We can do many things with Bitcoin and investment in Bitcoin is one of them. We can organize many things to help Bitcoin adoption and not only about Bitcoin investment.

Quote
Most of people who're organizing event just to promote their projects e.g. centralized exchange, trading bot, wallet, casino that related about money making.
They are doing right things. Building products, bringing more use cases for Bitcoin and they have freedom to promote their projects, businesses and products. If they are building good businesses (not Ponzi, not scam), good products which solve good problems and demand in society, it is good and we should support them.

Quote
So if you can learn by yourself, it's better to learn Bitcoin by watching few videos and books rather than hoping someone teach you on the event.

Your score will be like many scores from many review websites. If they don't public their formulas, source code, you will no be able to check the reasonable formula and its accuracy.

There are some websites to get community warnings, reports labels about tagged scam addresses. Those tags are from community reports, tags so they can be inaccurate. Like Trust Rating on Trust pilot and the likes. We can use them for references but validity and accuracy are unknown.

I don't know, because I've never had a strategy in playing other than staying within limits so that any results I get won't affect my finances globally because the funds used are the amount I can afford to lose
It is Gambling Responsible

Quote
using a strategy like what's called it is just a fad because I understand that gambling is not a place where you can increase the amount of your money deposited into the casino, but if that happens it's just luck and tomorrow or another time it's not certain to get the same thing.
I believe more in strategies for investment and trading but I don't believe in strategies for gambling. If those strategy delivers claim that it will bring profit for my gambling, I have more reason to disbelieve it.

Gambling contains more luckiness and depends more on probability than Trading and Investment. No guarantee that you can win with any strategy in Gambling.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin is not do or die on: June 21, 2023, 11:07:57 AM
The challenge I always have is to convince people not to invest in bitcoin. After all bitcoin is not an investment and it is not meant to give you profit. It is a currency and if you want to introduce it to someone you should introduce it as a currency too. That way they won't have a heart attack each time price has a sudden drop or a sudden rise while using bitcoin the way it was meant to.
They have interest to invest in Bitcoin when the market is very hot and they are very FOMO to join. Convincing them to cool down, stop their FOMO is very hard. Convincing them to not invest in Bitcoin when the market is heated a lot and might be corrected a lot is not easy. They probably think you are a bad guy who want to be rich for yourself and don't want to help them with your experience.

It is very painful experience so I myself don't talk with others that I am a Bitcoin investor. I keep it like a secret for myself and I will face with less challenge to be asked by other people.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could the launch of EDX exchange, result in this FUD? on: June 20, 2023, 11:45:25 PM
I believe that the recent fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) surrounding Binance has diminished and Binance has come out as the victor in some way. This is because the US court did not agree to halt Binance's operations or freeze its assets; instead, the court ordered negotiations between Binance and the authorities to address certain requirements. In my opinion, this signifies that the FUD has subsided.
SEC. and Gensler failed to beat Binance down and it is good for this industry. We are united to fight against Gensler to stop his powerful-biased minds and inaccurate decisions which are not based on valid active legislations.

If he wins against Binance, if he wins against Ripple, on behalf of SEC. as its Chair, it will lead to worse scenario for cryptocurrency industry because it will increase confidence in  Gensler that he can succeed to attack any project with SEC. lawsuits.

Quote
Additionally, it appears that the market turned bullish following the news about EDX. This positive sentiment is supported by major cryptocurrency news platforms such as Cointelegraph. Overall, I expect a positive outlook for the crypto market.
It is not a good exchange if we love our privacy but if it is about Compliance, it is a good one as it will not have problems with laws by directly launched and governed by government.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Asset Or Currency? on: June 20, 2023, 11:32:01 PM
I'm also not sure bitcoin will become the new standard.
We don't need Bitcoin to be a new global standard to use it as a currency, a mean for transaction, payment and an asset.

It is magic as whenever we have a Bitcoin private key and if it contains an amount of bitcoin, we can use it as a storage of asset and can broadcast a Bitcoin transaction.

We don't have to rely on any government, any local or global standard to move our bitcoin. We only need to choose appropriate fee rate to save transaction fee for ourself as well as get confirmations by miners.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Asset Or Currency? on: June 20, 2023, 03:20:54 PM
The little that I know about bitcoin is:

1. Bitcoin is the founding father of blockchain technology.
There are long history before Bitcoin creation in 2009.
Bitcoin Prehistory

Quote
3. Bitcoin is the antithesis of fiat

Initially, fiat money was born on the basis of gold reserves. But now it's not like that. Many people disagree when the US prints money massively without considering gold reserves. However, bitcoin was born without any guarantees, only the trust of the community makes bitcoin have value. Isn't that the same?
The world has moved from Gold standard to US dollar standard. In future we might have other fiat currencies or CBDCs as new global standard or will Bitcoin become a new standard for the world?

I don't expect it will be a new global standard but I believe Bitcoin adoption will be bigger.

Uhh.. I'm pretty sure Bittrex's official support twitter account is @BittrexSupport, not @BittrexSupportl. You got duped broski. Watch out for fake Twitter accounts — always remember, fake followers can be bought cheaply.
Fake accounts and will be directed to shady steps, phishing sites. Losing identity documents and money too if the scammer can succeessfully wifhdraw from Bittrex.

It is very basic mistake that should be avoided by people who join cryptocurrency market. Because many scammers in this market but they don't use very complicated scam methods.

589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation on Bitcoin Fees on: June 18, 2023, 11:39:37 PM
When you use a centralized exchange, you will have to accept their Terms of service ToS and pay the withdrawal fee they charge. All customers will be charged a same withdrawal fee that is consistent and does not depend on your withdrawal amount.

Kraken writes their withdrawal fee is 0.0002 BTC and the Withdrawal minimum is 0.0005 BTC.
https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000767986-Cryptocurrency-withdrawal-fees-and-minimums

You only can customize transaction fee if you use a self custody walllet and are able to set fee rate. With centralized exchanges, you can not do that.
590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiple timeframes is another means of getting better market clarity on: June 18, 2023, 03:23:00 PM
For me, using multiple timeframes is a good thing indeed, regardless of what are you trading. Because using multiple timeframes will help you to get a good entry.
With different time frames, you will have different entries and different open times before you should close your positions.

Quote
It will help you to identify trends and patterns because you are not sticking to only a one-time frame, it will help you to decide also until when your trade is valid.
If a trader can use different time frames, more potential entries will be seen and from some potential entries, a trader can choose a best one to open a trade. He can skip entries that contain bigger risk and only open a position with safest entry.

Quote
Using multiple timeframes also can help you better time when to enter and exit trades.
It will help a trader to have more possible trades and reduce waiting time between two trades. Like if I trade with 1-hour time frame, I will not have many chances to trade in a day because I have about 8 to 10 hours for sleeping.

Full Time - Netherlands 2-3 Italy

Really entertaining game, Italy take the 3rd place spot but all eyes are on the final tonight, Croatia vs Spain. It’s such a tough game to call, wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a long night and it’s not decided in regular time.
Italy won a second medal with Roberto Mancini but they wasted some great opportunities from counter attacking to finalize the match sooner. Netherlands tried a lot and they came closely to an equalizer but eventually the winner is Italy. Winning this match but Italy still have many things to do if they don't want to miss Euro 2024.

Croatia with Modric, Perisic, Kovacic, Brozovic, Vida will have a last chance to win a title. Many of those players are playing very last seasons of their career. Spain has a younger squad which will have more chance in future. Two teams in the final are balancing with each other but I hope Croatia and Modric will win the final.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Nations League final four ⚽ on: June 18, 2023, 02:06:57 PM
The Italian national team are just making sure they don't make any mistake they did against Spain. I'm not surprised at what I'm seeing with the way Netherland are playing poorly in today's game, going by 2 goals down in the first half and I don't see the Italian team backing down on their lead. If they {Italy} create more chances I think they can extend their lead, with Immobile on the bench I feel it will be very hard for Netherland when he {immobile} is been introduced.
Netherlands will face with a concrete defense from Italy in the second half and I really don't think they will be able to break Italy defense. In the second half, Italy can send some main players in and even can make the goal difference bigger. They have many star players on bench, Pellegrini, Zaniolo, Immobile, Barella.

2-0 down since the 20th minute, I think it will be a tough task for the Netherlands to be able to turn things around. Even though the Netherlands can master ball possession but still, this cannot be a guarantee for the Netherlands to be able to score lots of goals. Because after all, if Italy has a good and disciplined defense then of course, Italy will be able to maintain the victory that has been obtained at this time. Therefore, I personally am very confident that Italy will manage to win this match, and become the third winner in this tournament.
Netherlands played like Barcelona with too many slow speed passes and they played like they have 2 or 3 leading goals ahead Italy. In reality they got two conceded goals but did not try to increase their intensity.

Italy with their traditional defense and with many players from Inter Milan, will be able to block such attacks from Netherlands. Except if Netherlands increases their intensity in the second half, they will not have chance to equalize the match and beat Italy. It is shameful for Netherlands as Italy debut this match with their second squad, not with their best squad.

Do you mean the verification of your KYC? From what I have seen here in the forum, it could take several days, to weeks or even a month/s. I am not really sure why it takes that long. you might need to lengthen your patience because you might need to wait for several days to weeks, etc... before your issue gets resolved.
KYC verification can be done immediately with software or can take longer time with manual verification or advanced KYC. Sometimes, if a casino want to do advanced KYC or if they want to be sure that one account does not try to pass KYC with suspicious activities that trigger KYC requirement from the casino, it will take longer time.

Quote
you should ask them that, a casino usually answers what rule a gambler broke but they wouldn't provide evidence since it might contain sensitive information.
Sensitive information will not be shared publicly or even in user email.

Because a casino will have to keep information secretly like they have to follow GDPR. In addition, email is sensitive with hacks too and sharing sensitive information through email is risky. I don't think a casino will share all sensitive information of one user like how they broke a casino's Terms of service through email.
594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiple timeframes is another means of getting better market clarity on: June 17, 2023, 11:41:44 PM
Whether you are a long or short-term trader, no matter the timeframes you are using to analyze the market, others might be trading differently. This is more reason why I like to use at least 5 timeframes for trading, which will surely increase my chance of capturing the true psychology of the market at that time. And you know what? All of them must agree on a particular direction before I pull the trigger.
Trading is hard and even you are trading, with shorter time frame for your trading positions than what you can do with investment, you should look at the chart from wide time frames to narrow time frames.

Wide time frames like year and month charts can help you to see overviews of market cycles and latest trend. Such overview will help you to have better plan for your trading and help you to have plan B when your trading position is failed. If you trade spot, when your Plan A fails, you can use Plan B and do something like moving from Trading to Investment. It helps you to avoid loss from  Trading.

Narrow time frames will help you to find good entries for your trading positions and potential exit prices to take profit as well as cut loss prices. You can not find those prices if you only look at narrow time frames and skip wide time frames.

Important Message For Bittrex U.S. Customers. Their official announcement

Having previously announced that Bittrex U.S. filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, we have obtained permission from the court to allow customers that meet the necessary regulatory requirements to access their accounts and withdraw their remaining assets. See this article for more details.
That article was updated 2 days ago.

Then after such a long boring time until I can not bear such a dick customer service person anymore, I complained to their Support on Twitter, then I received reply to let me PM @BittrexSupportl, from there I was told they have a validate tool integrated (https://app.validatorsync.com/) and ask me to follow the validate process then I can withdraw my credit at their exchange immediately.
I did not read any information about those support account and channel, in this article.

Did you fall into a phishing site?
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quote prices in Bitcoin or Satoshi on: June 17, 2023, 03:02:37 PM
I had one item listed for XBT 34,950 which would be great if somebody would pay that.

Things look really cheap when you see the price is 0.00034950.
If you can display price in two units like fiat currency value and in any of Bitcoin value (BTC, mBTC, satoshi), it will help the buyers a lot.

Like you want to sell an item at $50 in fiat currency, you can add an equivalent amount in either BTC, mBTC or satoshi. It depends on technical settings at the site to display it and it is your barrier and restrict your choices.

You can set up that item price in one fixed unit such as its will be always at $50 and the equivalent BTC, mBTC, satoshi will be changed and updated with Bitcoin price.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quote prices in Bitcoin or Satoshi on: June 16, 2023, 03:33:11 PM
You can use three main units for Bitcoin: Bitcoin, satoshi and milibitcoin (mBTC). I believe these three units are enough for you to use from big to small values of your items because with these units, we will have two extremes (biggest, smallest units and one unit in the middle).

1 mili-bitcoin = 0.001 BTC and this unit is a good unit in between bitcoin and satoshi units.

598  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm Having Difficulty With A Trading Feature on: June 15, 2023, 03:32:15 PM
I did a Sell on Bitcoin with a Limit of 25100.00. So if it goes up and hit 25100.00 the trade ends and I lost money.
Lost money?

I don't understand how you lost money after selling your bitcoin and your order is filled. You will receive either cash or stable coin after selling your bitcoin. The amount and value can be bigger or smaller than your initial capital but you won't lose all your money. Price of Bitcoin when you sold it is $25,100 not $0.

599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We shall separate commercial exchanges from investment exchanges on: June 15, 2023, 03:25:16 PM
I usually use the first kind of exchanges, to be honest, as I don't need to store money on any centralized services and only transfer it when selling for fiat. There are still some risks here, as you can't be sure the exchange will follow through on their part, so some regulations are needed. But I agree with the op that the regulations should be harsher for those exchanges that hold the money of their clients, might use it for their own purposes (like FTX), and offer more services.
Regulations will become harsher certainly but if you use decentralized exchanges and store your coins in your wallets (non custodial), you will not have risk to lose your coins. In contrast, if you use centralized exchanges, you will have such risk and even bigger risk to lose your coins by harsher regulations that can cause drop in exchange trading volume, income, profit and might trigger collapses of bad centralized exchanges.

FTX is a very painful example of unbelievable terrible collapse of a Tier 1 centralized exchange. I did not think it can happen but after all with more information about their bad operations, their collapse makes sense.
600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can i get the crypto whales signal??? on: June 15, 2023, 11:40:17 AM
The OP just wants to enter the inner circle of the whales without being a whale themselves, and this is never going to happen, the people that belong to those groups and are told in advance what kind of maneuvers they want to implement to move the price in a direction or the other are a very tight group, and they will not let someone else to get all the benefits without taking some of the risks themselves, so the OP is just wasting their time by trying to somehow enter their circle.
Whales will not add you into their inner circles. If newbies need me to enlighten them about facts of inner circles, I will quote the FTX inner circle.

Who's who of the FTX inner circle
SBF’s inner circle received $3.2B, mainly from Alameda: Court filings

Those powerful people in the FTX inner circle disguised their scam even against FTX staffs. If you are not FTX staff, you will have no chance to know information from the inner circle.

From this real inner circle and their scam, you can see it's unrealistic to be added to whales' inner circles if you are retailed investor and means nothing in the market.
