581  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-15] Seller Of £17 million London Mansion Will Only Accept Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 12:57:07 AM
That is where Bitcoin has a bright future IMO. I really doubt one day people will use Bitcoin to buy food in a supermarket, but buying properties like houses or cars with Bitcoin should become very common.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the top leading nations from which citizens invest the most in ICOs? on: October 17, 2017, 12:52:25 AM
Difficult question, but for sure US has to be #1. Outside you may have to look at the most friendly countries towards Bitcoin listed here : Sweden, Denmark, UK, South Korea in particular.
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ? on: October 17, 2017, 12:42:00 AM
What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ?
6000 is the next resistance, I believe it will remain between 5000 and 6000 for a while, actually a small correction under 5000 is possible to.
I would say 7000 yes but not before 2018 IMO.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA ban Rise and Down on: October 17, 2017, 12:32:04 AM
As usual, some investors panicked and sold without knowing the ifs and buts, banning ICOs do not mean banning Bitcoin.

586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin party 2017 has just began! on: October 16, 2017, 04:00:27 PM
I just bought STR now. Amazing it went up 5x today. Aside from STR, DGB, XLM , XRP , BTS, SC are also going up. I also spare a good amount of BTC to average down just incase my current position may went down. Up next the secondary coins. May I know your crypto bags?
Hi mate.
STR stands for StarCoin? Whats the saying on STR? People loved to mine the coin back then... All the fancy different reward and tokens. I heard it was a nice idea. Being revived or I got it wrong and you meant Stellar?
Cheers.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea To Tax Bitcoin Use on: October 16, 2017, 02:00:29 PM
It's possible. Then it's a step to legality. When government ask for taxes in the use of bitcoin, it means that they are accepting it for implementation. In the Philippines, there are taxes upon the use of bitcoins. Via banks, remittances and Philippine made wallets for digital currency.
My thoughts exactly. I would rather get taxed than living in a country that does not recognize Bitcoin.
This is actually the future I would like to see, in the whole world.

And yes no one likes to pay taxes, but taxes are also used to help the public communities, help building schools, etc. as long as the taxes are not over a reasonable % , I am fine with it.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could go wrong with Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 01:56:03 PM
Yes, actually reason 4. is a one that would make me worry (a bit), Bitcoin is the big name, that's why it attracts so many investors.
But then it is a very hard thing to predict.
What I know for sure, is, when you are the first one to enter in a specific industry (so here, cryptos), your competitors will need to work much harder to overtake you. I will still trust Bitcoin to adapt to all "competition" it faces, like I said, it is still had the big advantage of being "the big name", the name that now everyone has heard of, even those who say "I do not understand anything about cryptocurrencies Smiley

No, he talks smart. Smart investors always prepare themselves for the worst.
I do agree though with LoyceV when he says "all eggs in one basket" is not the best thing to do.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could go wrong with Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 10:50:45 AM
Hi (funny username Smiley)
You are a smart man if you accumulated BTC since 2013, I wish I did.
IMO the worst that could happen is that all the countries in the world decide that Bitcoin is illegal. This is very unlikely IMO but it would make the price crash. Bitcoin would'nt disappear in such a scenario, but the value of it would return to what it was long time ago.
For me this is the highest risk.
Personal risks for you is to be hacked, of course, but you probably know how to make your bitcoins safe.
592  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SOLVED - Don't use CoinMama.com affiliate system they don't pay you! on: October 16, 2017, 10:40:03 AM
I don't know about affiliates, I actually applied for the affiliate program but never bothered to really take it seriously since I was very busy at the time. But now that I got more time, other feedbacks of user who got paid would be great. It is a bit worrying to read negative reviews, it is not the 1st thread I read with such feedback, sadly.
Anyone else? Smiley

594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 16, 2017, 08:58:57 AM
For sure, Federer played really well that game. It was really fun to watch him play like that, however, I dont think it will be enough to be number 1, Nadal is still better and has the points in his advantage. Unless he keeps playing like he did, he will not be number 1 by the end of the year.
Federer could very well play like he did yesterday until the end of the season, he could win the 3 upcoming tournaments (Basel, Paris, and World tour finals), and still fail to end the year as #1 since it depends on the results Nadal will have. Federer needs Nadal to crash out early in the next tournaments he plays.
Rafa is scheduled to play Basel as well, but I wonder if he will pull out. He must be exhausted now.
595  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: Comment augmenter son rang (rapidement mais sérieusement) on: October 16, 2017, 06:14:33 AM
Salut,

596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dimon [ JP Morgan CEO ] Continues to Make a Fool of Himself.... on: October 16, 2017, 06:08:50 AM
What to expect to a person who doesn't even know what is bitcoin. This is really tiring but yeah we must stay chill and relax, whether we like it or not we cannot stop this human on attacking bitcoin.
This.
Many negative opinions I read about Bitcoin are not based on "serious" analysis of what Bitcoin is, that is what bothers me the most.
Dimon said: "The only value of bitcoin is what the other guy'll pay for it", wow yeah he got that right, law and demand. And the demand is increasing weeks after weeks, month after month, simple as that.
597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whens all bitcoin going to be mined? on: October 16, 2017, 05:19:31 AM
They reckon 2040 the final block will be mined. I dont see how that is possible.

It's not possible. Want to know why? Because 2140 is when the final block will be mined. NOT 13 YEARS FROM NOW! 113 YEARS FROM NOW!

OMG when all bitcoins are mined the price of each coin will go up so much everyone here right now will be rich Cheesy

The price would only skyrocket if demand soared as well.
I stand corrected Wink

Wimbledon champion Roger Federer beat world number one Rafael Nadal 6-4 6-3 in the Shanghai Masters final to capture his sixth title of the year.
What a HUGE player. Unbeliveable!
This is the third straight final that Roger Federer has beaten Rafael Nadal this season alone, he started it in the Australian Open he won by three sets to Nadal's two, He again beat him the finals of the Miami Open by two straight sets and now another two straight sets in the Shanghai Open. Although not a final Federer won against Nadal in the round 16 of the Indian Well Masters making it four victories over Nadal this year. Federer is becoming better with age.
Roger is showing a classy performance as always. I'm surprised he still play that good at the age of 36. He is now the second in world players rating behind Rafael Nadal and he have a shot to finish the season on top. He won his 94th title yesterday. He is trully a living legend and it is so unfortunate that he is getting old and his retirement is getting closer.
The bold part, I don't think so.
Unless Nadal gets injured and pulls away of the upcoming tournaments, Nadal has 2000 more points than Federer.
If Federer wins both Paris Masters and World Tour Finals , that is an additional 2500 pts for him, but Nadal would need to play poor at both events, unlikely unless injury, even though he is not that great on indoor hardcourt, the perspective of ending the year #1 should be a great motivation for the Spaniard.

One thing is for sure, if Federer plays close to the way he played yesterday, no one beats him before next year Cheesy
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 16, 2017, 04:58:06 AM
I never thought it would be possible to write this, but right now Roger Federer is 15 titles away from equaaling Jimmy Connors's record of 109 titles.
I don't see any reason for Federer to retire before year 2020, except serious injury, and to be honest with the the way he takes care of his body, I could imagine him play 5 more years, so I would include at least 2021 as his last year on the tour, but it is perfectly reasonable to imagine Federer play in 2022.

By the way, he could very well add 2 more titles this year, Basel and Paris or World Tour Finals (usually he tanks Paris but who will beat him in the other two events?). That would mean 96 titles at the end of the year.
