The 40 million is for advertizing, marketing, hiring more devs, etc. The 40 million is a GREAT THING!! They have a VERY SUCCESSFUL marketing firm behind them, who BTW goofball, just subcontracted 10 differet PR firms in 10 different languages, just to start, along with translating to all popular languages as well. They have the largest Telegram on earth!! This shows that the 120,000 investors (a world record BTW) are involved!! What does all this mean? That you couldnt be more incorrect!! Exactly lots of useless bla bla bla and marketing and no know how whatsoever. You will see in few months there will be zero result only more hype and promises. Oh and few people run out of UK since getting charges for fraud. Sure the fact the ETN has many times the amount of buy support than any other coin is no indication of tue future, right? Could I please ask why wasn't the mobile mining pool info included in the WP? Learning that threw me off a little bit because it was always mentioned it would be 6 bill premine and 15 bill to mine. I do understand there was the need for a mobile mining pool, but I would appreciate a reply if possible (I know devs never expected these number of users so maybe they never thought they would sell such the amount of ETNs they did during the ICO and this forced them to change the numbers, or maybe they simply forgot to specify it and combined the "mining" and "mobile mining" pools?). Thanks! (Please note I have been an Electroneum supporter from day one (and still am), and have no intention of selling my coins anytime soon ... I am hodling for the longterm. No launch is perfect and honestly, I would have been happy had they delayed the launch but understand people would have complained either way ... it's impossible to make everyone happy). based on my understanding of the interview, there won't be any mobile mining pool because mobile mining is only simulated, there is an algo that determines how much etn you get from your phone's power. The mobile miners coins had to be premined to make their pool because its a "mobile mining experience" not actually phones mining the blockchain, its a centralized process. Even coinmarketcap have said they will put the mobile mining coins as "to be mined" and not in circulation, as they will monitor the address they are in and add those that leave to "in circulation" as the mobile miners receive coins based on their phones benchmark. |

The dev team already tried to make an estimate twice, and missed the deadline. Our computer systems are on the same system as Netflix. Believe me, these are some of the best devs (AWS) in the world now helping the Electroneum devs. It will be done as soon as they can restart with all the investor coins being safe. |

Now it ranges from 7500 to 7900 coins.

Where I can see the schedule of rewards for the block? When will the rewards be reduced? The blockchain always adjusts the block rewards. Adaptive limits A decentralized payment system must not depend on a single person’s decisions, even if this person is a core developer. Hard constants and magic numbers in the code deter the system’s evolution and therefore should be eliminated (or at least be cut down to the minimum). Every crucial limit (like max block size or min fee amount) should be re-calculated based on the system’s previous state. Therefore, it always changes adaptively and independently, allowing the network to develop on it’s own. Electroneum’s CryptoNote has the following parameters which adjust automatically for each new block: 1. Difficulty. The general idea of our algorithm is to sum all the work that nodes have performed during the last 720 blocks and divide it by the time they have spent to accomplish it. The measure of the work is the corresponding difficulty value for each of the blocks. The time is calculated as follows: sort all the 720 timestamps and cut-off 20% of the outliers. The range of the rest 600 values is the time which was spent for 80% of the corresponding blocks. 2. Max block size. Let MN be the median value of the last N blocks sizes. Then the “hard-limit” for the size of accepting blocks is 2*MN. It averts blockchain bloating but still allows the limit to slowly grow with the time if necessary. Transaction size does not need to be limited explicitly. It is bounded by the size of the block. Smooth emission The upper bound for the overall amount of all digital coins is also digital: MSupply = 264 − 1 atomic units This is a natural restriction based only on the implementation limits, not on intuition like “N coins ought to be enough for everybody”. To make the emission process smoother electroneum’s CryptoNote uses the following formula for block rewards: BaseReward = (MSupply − A) >> 18 Where A is amount of previously generated coins. Internet is expensive in Africa...so i try to keep downloading as little as possiable Question... after creating a wallet address ..... can I still mine to that address before its synchronized ? second question...
