581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason of ETH bull run? on: December 28, 2018, 07:01:25 AM
There is the hardfork upgrade coming for Ethereum soon but I think this was just generally a PRE XMAS PUMP so some whales can take out a few more profits and now Asians are probably dumping again because they are collecting their last profits for the Chinese LUNAR New Year. It's all planned by the Whales in the end. They just use News as an excuse to constantly leech the markets and take out whatever profit they can on a regular basis, leaving always the hardcore hodlers and believers to hodl the bags until oblivion. I think they even invented the word HODL and brainwashed so many of us to hold so they could constantly have some meat in the game to be able to short whenever they need to take out to buy their Lambos for their Girlfriends.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do for shit coins in our wallet? on: December 28, 2018, 06:57:58 AM
I have over fifty totally useless and sh8tty tokens in my MEW that are worthless because they never went on an exchange. The problem is that many of these ICOS, don't want to bother with listing on exchanges once the ICO ends and they have collected all their moola. What they do is abandon the project usually after giving out the tokens and say they didn't scam because they gave us the tokens. What's the use with giving us the tokens if they are going to be totally worthless and worth 0? What can I do with 0? It won't feed my belly and my family, that's for sure. Let's try to fight against these scams and see what to do to make the bounty section much safer and a better place to make some decent money for a change. I think we should fight to get paid in either ETH OR BTC for bounties. Or at least half in eth or btc and half in tokens.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The role of bounties campaigns at promote awareness on: December 28, 2018, 06:50:42 AM
Everything with bounties can be hit and miss. You might get into a really good project, but the project has no community support. Then there can be a project that has a lot of support but the Team don't want to spend any money on getting the coin or token listed on exchanges and then, of course, you got your serial scammers, who every time pretend to be someone else, but they come in a new guise with a flashy website to fleece both investors and bounty hunters. It's all a gamble now when you do bounties, but of course, doing your utmost due diligence before you embark on doing bounty work is a MUST, just to see if it is possible to get some reward out of it in the end.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's go to Singapore! We can pay with Btc there. on: December 28, 2018, 06:47:59 AM
Singapore is a really developed Country, they are so much more advance din so many ways, including sustainability, green technology, Fintech and of course last but not least, the Blockchain. They have embraced all these new technologies with both foresight and careful planning and don't do things just lightly. Once they engage themselves in a niche they go in full throttle and always try to make the safest, yet most innovative decisions that will benefit their citizens in the biggest possible way. If I ever wanted to live in a city again, I think Singapore would be one of those places in my top 5 awesome places to live with a metropolitan feel. If ever things go well for me again in Blockchain/ Bitcoin stuff, I would love to visit there one day.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many investors fall poor because bitcoin prices are down on: December 27, 2018, 01:21:46 PM
I lost almost all my portfolio wealth this year because I didn't sell in January my altcoins when I should have when they had reached an all-time high. I am the only one to blame for this fiasco because I gave in to all the FOMO and positive news everyone was saying back then but wasn't looking at the reality on the ground, that shorting with exchange slike Bitfinex and Bitmex would become a reality and that the Bitcoin Futures were going to make a few whales very rich and most of us hodlers very poor. I wish I could go back now and change everything but it is impossible now so got to hope that at least I can grow a few bags before the next bull run and in doing so want to help my family.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN-ICO]MODULE-Cryptoeconomic ecosystem on a decentralized file storage network on: December 27, 2018, 12:42:04 PM
I am expecting that this being a Japanese project, it would be listed on a decent few exchanges by the end of the first Quarter of 2019. This is what I am hoping for anyway. I am not going to sell my tokens for cheap and as I think this might be a decent project, we should wait and see and at least get a decent price for the tokens or hold until further down when we see more developments take place. I might rejoin the telegram grouP and see if they have further updates to check out. At least they were good and honest o distribute tokens and also both to investors and bounty hunters, so that in itself is something very good to be honest as many other icos turned to scam or are worthless.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make Crypto go viral? on: December 27, 2018, 10:36:57 AM
I personally think the demographics in Crypto are really lopsided. We should get more and more women involved, that would really bring things into a much healthier perspective and also children. We should all open wallets and kid's savings accounts with some good cryptos, gift family and friends with crypto on their birthdays or on special religious or other special events /holidays. I think it's really good if we do this through the art of giving. The best way to introduce people to crypto is by donating to them a little bag of it. Let's all be a little bit generous this year going into 2019 and see if we can introduce at least 2 -3 more people into Crypto. If all goes well I will start a little saving account for my Son in crypto.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: December 27, 2018, 10:03:15 AM
Now you can buy even houses and cars with Bitcoin, so yes, if you have lots of it just stack it up nicely and use wherever you want to use it. I am looking to get a Wirex card so I can get cash back at least on my grocery shopping. I can't afford anything else to buy with Bitcoin at the minute, but even that, to be able to live on the Blockchain would be a good testament to believing in decentralization. It's great to be able to use Bitcoin and what I should have done at ATH was take the Bitcoin I had and spent it, not let it died in price with the altcoins. I regret a lot of bad decisions I made but will try hard to make it all back again one day and make things better. Let's see if I can do it.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀💥🚀🚀 DECOIN :FIRST blockchain Profit Sharing Exchange platform 🚀💥🚀 on: December 26, 2018, 07:15:21 AM
I really like the way this project is progressing and I like the UI and color scheme, looks really professional. I hope you get the license soon and open for trading so we can all start to try it out. The revenue looks good as well, so people will want to buy tokens and hold, along with staking them which for me a is a huge plus and will give nice revenues for long-term passive income holders. This bear market has made people not want to hold tokens for long-term appreciation as many lost their portfolios and saw them get wiped out, but DECOIN gives everyone a good incentive to buy and hold tokens for the longer term as we earn staking revenues for holding them aswell as earned revenues from the exchange.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitter Truth on: December 26, 2018, 07:10:53 AM
I don't believe Bitcoin can go to 1k USD, but down to 2.5k or 3k USD is possible and maybe probable. We had a little pre Xmas pump which I expected because I knew the whales would be wanting to cash out extra profits during the Xmas season and soon we have New Year and then on the 1st of February we have the Chinese lunar new year lasting for two weeks or so. I don't believe there will be any bull market over the coming months so I don't expect miracles price wise and only a few pumps and dumps here and there. I do hope for a better scenario in the next few months leading up to 2020. Will I be around to see it/ Only God knows, right now and on my last leg and don't know if I will survive the altcoin winter anymore.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A transfer of 249.999 BTC happened just now, really amazing on: December 26, 2018, 07:06:11 AM
Well the big whales are getting bigger and the small fish are being eaten up by the big whales, that's the story here really. While many are capitulating and selling out, the big pockets and wallets are getting phatter and fatter by the day and this is how the rich get richer and the poor get much poorer. I don't know if this is a good thing or not but time will tell. That might be an exchange wallet or some pool or fund wallet of some sort and not belong just to any individual, but then again I could be wrong and it might belong to some 20-year-old miner who mined the crap out of Bitcoin in the early days and become very rich doing it. Let's see if anyone here can crack the code and find out who owns it, would be interesting.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed for a recession? on: December 26, 2018, 06:52:17 AM
I believe so because wages are not going up and yet rents, bills, and food prices are all on the rise. I live in Cyprus and I have seen the price of rents double in less than four years but the wages haven't gone up at all, so how do you compute this? I have seen food prices go up even more and as we are an Island, all imported food is so expensive, but even locally grown vegetables are getting pricey. I think the poor now are getting poorer and the middle class is struggling. The only thing here in Cyprus is that some people are lucky and they bought land cheap years ago and they do these phat weddings so many of the kids got their own homes when they get married, but in general life is getting harder everywhere.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2018, 03:21:59 PM
Yeah, this is one of the best projects around, but just like most other cryptos and projects, it has really suffered in this bear market price wise and a lot of us lost our capital wealth with this price fall. I lost x 20 my wealth in Pundi X alone, because I went and bought at all-time highs when Pundix was 220 sats and Bitcoin was at 8. USD. So for me, it has been a really rough ride. I had to sell some of my PundiX to live on so only got a smaller bag left. I hope to add to it soon if I can make more money in crypto but right now am not making anything during the holidays, except a little from day trading to cover my food and bills. I have no idea if by the next bull run I will be able to hold on to the PundiX I have or not, I hope I can keep some at least.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARBITRAGING: Crypto Profit Trading Platform | HOT ICO! on: December 25, 2018, 03:14:00 PM
The exchange platform is down for maintenance OVER the Xmas period, while the DEVS upload important updates in the back end: Dear users, we would like to notify you that we will be taking the exchange offline shortly. Major updates and fixes are coming to ensure stability of the system and trading conditions. We have a string of updates to perform and they are best done with the exchange offline.

The downtime is expected to be approximately 48 hours. This will allow our community to have time to enjoy the holiday while we work on the updates.

Thank you for your patience and Merry Christmas !

That was the last message in the main telegram rooms but Devs and Admins are very active and still helping people over the Holidays.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: December 25, 2018, 03:11:56 PM
I think Crypto is not dead or not yet obsolete to die, but the bear market conditions and the different ways to short the market have really taken their toll on crypto in general and many have long capitulated and left this very volatile, high risk and sometimes scammy niche, where many ICOS and DEVS have stolen funds form many investors, amounting into billions of dollars stolen or hacked over the last few years. So yes, for many people, crypto is very dead and long buried, but for others just getting into it, it's a new way of looking at how things can be done in the world and is showing signs of promise and hope for billions of people worldwide. Let's hope it isn't the end of Crypto and that there is a new beginning.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many altcoins are actually worth something? on: December 25, 2018, 03:03:57 PM
There are some very good altcoin/ blockchain projects that will be worth something in the future, but right now the market is at it's lowest and although we had a small rally before Xmas, the market has again dumped for those day traders eager to take profits and with many holidays still to come up, I don't see much happening for an upside just yet. I think it was just a pre pump to pump a little so they could short again to collect more profits during Xmas and the New Year. I do think some projects will go sky high n a bull run and some will die long before then, so you just need to find the best ones and collect them. I haven't been able to collect many tokens or coins right now due to bear market conditions.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Merry Bitcoin Xmas to all you Hodlers! on: December 25, 2018, 02:59:11 PM
Yes, it is good to see so many people here from different countries and religious beliefs have one thing in common, their love for Bitcoin and for decentralization. I am hoping that more and more people come into this field of finance and business and we all slowly and together change the word for it to become a more prosperous and better place. The technology that is behind Bitcoin can really drive the world forward but also there are negative elements, like hackers and thieves that will always spoil it for those who do their best to make things better. This year is a bittersweet one for myself personally, so I am not happy with what the bear market has done to me, but always hoping next year will be much better.
598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run or Dead Cat Bouncing ? on: December 22, 2018, 08:42:42 PM
I don't think we have a bull run just yet to be honest. I think this is just a bull trap or a dead cat pounce and will go down again over the holidays as volume drops and many of the humongous humpback whales try to cash out their readies in time for spending on their Lambos and rich holidays and stuff. I think there will be a lot of FUD coming from the Media also so that the whales can cash out before everyone else and then all the alts drop also like a pack of cards until we get a bull run happening, which in my books will not happen for a very long time. So for now we need to be really patient and do our best to not be miserable and depressed in this very long bear market crappy situation we are in.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaining or Losing ??? on: December 19, 2018, 05:44:05 PM
All this year since January I was losing on every coin until I found the Arbitrage robot and token. Since then my life has become much better and I can breathe now at least. The token was just two bucks last week and now it is 14 bucks and by tonight should hit 15 bucks. It's nice also that ethereum has gone up as it is paired to ethereum mainly. This is a good utility token and is used for arbitrage bots and I also have the autobot which gives me daily income to live on and I have a few hundred tokens aside that I want to layer in the robot as well as loose tokens to take some profits along the way. I do hope others will also join the robot and save themselves from being rekt in the bear market conditions we have been facing.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: anybody buying some Bitcoin lately? on: December 19, 2018, 05:28:44 PM
I only buy BTC at the moment to convert to my bank account for living expenses as for now I am mainly investing in a token that has already mooned x 5 in a week and it will keep slowly now going up over the next few months. When I can make a decent profit from it I will try to buy one or two Bitcoins and hold them for when we have a bull run and then see what to do from there. It's a very good price now to buy into and although it is going up, there is still a lot of room to make a good long-term hodl profit from it and so we will see if it retraces now or goes even higher over the next few weeks. I am very confident though that Bitcoin will see better days going into the third quarter of 2019.
