Lol sold out in less than 5 mins. I got mine directly from them. So please cancel my GB orders.

Which is exactly why I was trying to get this together.  Basically impossible to get units for those who want only a couple.  No need to cancel, this group buy is over

This group buy has been suspended, no need to continue to cancel orders

If this group-buy decides to order I'm in. Can take from 5-10 units.
If other group-buys emerge feel free PM me

This buy is closed.  needed to get the order in before the last batch went on sale.

What are the chances that baseball games going into eztra innings will be provided? I love that bet and will need to go elsewhere if it isnt added.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The second batch of PandaMiner B3 Plus Pre-sale coming soon! on: March 30, 2017, 04:28:07 PM
I just talked to panda i have their number. Confirmed they are not MXM anymore. it is not the same board it is 8 x pcie slots.  I'm still ok with that.  Honestly way easier to fix and upgrade if needed.

So does that mean they are just regular graphics cards?  That would be nice for resale value.

doubtful, based on pictures I saw, they had passive coolers on them and the chassis fans blew air across them.

They could be reference designs though so you could just change out the heatsink assembly

I guess I don't understand, what is the difference between a MXM card, a normal graphics card, and reference design...etc?
585  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BITCOIN MINING COMPANY (for my study only) on: March 30, 2017, 03:40:50 PM
hi,
my name is wassim 23 years, am a student in télécommunication (3rd year in university)
one of my professors asked us to do a review of a company (about tax, insurance.....etc)
i want to do a review of a mining cryptocurrency company  Tongue

my question is : did bitcoin mining companys pay tax and insurance to The state like other normal companys or no ?

sorry for my english.

Is there a specific country your talking about?  In the United States you don't pay insurance to the state if your a company.  They may have insurance through a third party though, but that is probably up to the owners of the company.  Whether they are registered or not as a company, they are required to pay taxes on their earnings, whether they actually do that or not is a different matter and possibly tax fraud.

587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should I start a business to mine on: March 26, 2017, 04:50:22 AM
So I have been doing alot of research this weekend about the taxes involved in mining.  Something I dont see alot of in the forums!  Many websites and many opinions.  The only thing I can semi gather is that if I hold coins I am mining long term It could be 15% but if I sell as soon as I get a coin I am paying normal taxes for the bracket percent I am in.  I live in the US.

To get max profits it almost makes sense to start a business just so I can write off power and equipment.

Not looking for legal advice just would like to know thoughts on this from anyone in the US.

You can report your mining income on Schedule C and still deduct power and equipment costs.  You will have to report mining earnings as ordinary income then any fluctuation in bitcoin price can be capital gains/losses.  One you go to sell the equipment is a whole other bag of worms that requires a lot of careful planning.

Yep refering to minning only LTC. Even GAME should give you at least 30% more income if not more. And that is not counting minning some new shitcoins. Like MILO or what hot is at that moment.
Ive tried nicehash and hash-to-coins, which includes game in its rotation. but can still barely keep up with electric.
24 hour return on nicehash is 0.0193 BTC/day/GH

I use Prohashing.  Get about 2x - 2.5x electricity cost per day at .1 cents a kilawatt hour.

Wonder will the server go down ... too much of loading

Son of a bitch, and they are sold out of this batch.  Can anyone tell me what time is +8 in central time?  Google told me it was 3 am my time, but I woke up to buy units and the store still said sold out, now it looks like they were released sometime between then and now.
592  Economy / Securities / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] Investment Returns, Updated weekly, Week 11, +8.64% Total on: March 22, 2017, 08:51:19 PM
I just wondering how about if I used 0.1 btc to invest. Will it bring you any decent profit like that? Because to afford that 1 btc is prett hard for me right now since there is always risk in gambling, mostly I lose every balance that I have. Saw that crypto-games investing progress is on good track, might do some invest there

Worth because it's better than letting your money on a wallet without generating any interest. Surely the profit won't be big, but it's not so low like lending money on Poloniex and this kind of thing... Sometimes you will earn more or less, depends the house luck also. I personally think it's a good idea.

Profit won't be big?  It has returned almost 9% in under 3 month!  Even lending money on Poloniex has been averaging about 6% interest a year.  That is equal to or better than anything found in the real world.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner B3 Plus Group Buy on: March 22, 2017, 02:02:59 PM
I appreciate the thoughts guys, but if your not comfortable sending the btc to me, I don't think we will get this group buy going.  Since the new batch gets released this evening, we need to have 30 people ready to buy within the next 12 hours, and we aren't anywhere close (looks like we are at about 10 who would send me the btc)

Unfortunately that is just the way it is with them currently.  I understand that the sentiment, but there is nothing else I can do.

If you would like units, please feel free to continue to post on here, and if we get to 30, we can move forward and be ensured units.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you the best PandaMiner reviewer we are looking for? on: March 22, 2017, 03:33:36 AM
I have started a group buy here...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1837145.new#new

Please note, they have informed me that payment needs to be made all at once, if your uncomfortable sending me funds first, I understand but please understand I cannot do anything about it.

What price have you got for the group buy? Bulk pricing? I am thinking of 1 unit to test before I buy 9 units.

I was hoping by now, Phil would have reviewed it and gave his critical observations.

Anyone lucky to get one recently, please do post pix etc.

No, no discount, these things are selling so hot, there is no way they will give a discount.  Simply a way to make sure that those of us in the US can get in on the action without having to wake up at absurd hours.  Just heard when next batch will go on sale, US residents will not be pleased about waking up in the middle of the night.

596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / PandaMiner B3 Plus Group Buy on: March 22, 2017, 02:56:33 AM
I am setting up a group buy for the new PandaMiner B3 Plus units with expectation for delivery of units the week of April 15th.  Please read the following instructions carefully...

PandaMiner only releases batches of around 500 units at a time, and they sell out almost immediately.  I contacted them about getting an order in the next batch and they said with an order of at least 30 units I could be ensured a spot.  I cannot buy this many units at a time myself, but they said running a group buy would be a good way to get there.

They will ship units to each person individually, but payment needs to be done all at once.

So, at this time, this is simply a post to check for interest in doing this?  You will have to pay me the funds and I will pass them on to PandaMiner along with all shipping addresses.  We will have to pay 30% as a downpayment, then the rest at time of shipping.  If your interested in this arrangement, please comment on this thread with the number of units you would be interested in.

Current Prices and Downpayment Are...
1 PandaMiner B3 Plus - $2,000            Downpayment is $600
1 PandaMiner Power Supply - $72
Currently asking if shipping is included in this cost or not, will update once i hear back.

Specs can be found here...
https://www.pandaminer.com/default/product_detail?id=5

If you have any further questions, please list them below and I will see what I can answer.

Interest List...
User       # of units
DebitMe     4
Total Units  4

Talking with PandaMiner they can ensure that I get units in the next batch with an order of at least 30, is anyone interested in going in to hit that target to ensure we get units?

i dont mind to add me 3 down for me i really wonder how the payment and shipping do? are they gonna ship to us 1 and everyone or we have to wait for 1 person to get it and shipped it .. thing like that .. and payment
so depend on what they provide

Mike

They have already stated that they will ship to everyone themselves, currently asking about how payments will work, then will get this thing going.  Even if it has to be paid from one account, I don't think there should be a huge issue, as I have been here for a very long time and have even handled escrow transactions before.  But we will see.

ok, thanks for the reply, also thanks for trying to get something going, appriciate it Smiley

I just want these machines like everyone else, and hopefully we can have a chance by getting a good sized order together.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you the best PandaMiner reviewer we are looking for? on: March 21, 2017, 03:41:50 PM
i'd be up for 1 too, i assume you just put our names into the group and we purchase them ourselfs, right?

Not sure, was checking if there was interest first.  I don't know if we would pay individually or if they would want it all coming from me.  I will double check that and include the info if I decide to move forward with doing this.

Yes, please put me down for 6.

there is already more batches coming out without this special order

Yes, but like the last one, they are small batches of 500 or so, and will probably be sold out within an hour or two, which doesn't give the little guy much time to get in, especially if they release them when the Western world is overnight.  This will guarantee we are in the next batch.
