5821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to hold Bitcoin for a long time or sell to meet a need of life? on: January 31, 2018, 09:22:15 PM
Now bitcoin price is low. If you sell now, you lose some money. I think this is the best time to buy some bitcoin and holding is the best thinking at this time. Because of potential currency, bitcoin price must be increasing again. So don't be panic. Be patience and hold your bitcoin for future.
Just investing on bitcoin and other crypto currencies with a faith that the market will rise back isn't the best thing to do. In fact you shouldn't even try to do this with crypto currencies.
And sometimes it is better to sell a coin (even if you are at a loss) if you think that there is another coin that will be doing better.
5822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: January 31, 2018, 09:16:23 PM
With mainstream media still taking an interest in Bitcoin, do you think we have lost perspective of what is important, and are there to much focus on price? or do you think we will find back to the possibility of bitcoin and blockchain?
For inspiration i included my article on the matter
https://cryptoms.online/2018/01/30/is-bitcoin-too-complicated-for-ordinary-folks/
It is true that the main stream media has totally changed the perspective of what bitcoin and other crypto currencies are. People now think of the "price", the "profits" and the "loss" when they hear the word bitcoin. They are just forgetting about the true use of bitcoin and has rather become more profit oriented.
5823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why all coins are going down..? on: January 31, 2018, 09:11:19 PM
why all coins are going down..? can i sale it or hold.

I would hold, the latest fall is most likely attributable to news that broke around bitfinex and tether. A simple google search will pull up a lot of articles around it. Essentially it is accused that they printed Tether without anything to support it and used this to falsely inflate the price of bitcoin.
This tether currency is just causing a shit load of FUD. It is true that the destruction of tether would cause some huge issues for the price of crypto currencies, though this negative affect should not be lasting long. Tether should have died a long time ago though.
5824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone used unichange.me? on: January 28, 2018, 04:02:11 PM
Have anyone used unichange.me? I bought yesterday 150$ pm with btc and they claimed its automatic exchange. After 24h I havent received my pm.

Should I be worried?
If the exchange is automated the transaction should take place instantly. Was there any fixed requirement for network confirmation and have you reached those requirements? If you did, you should contact support as soon as possible. I never had to use those exchanges, but once. Used https://www.changer.com/ , they were instant and the rates were way much better than the rest of sites. Even includes a  bonus (2%-6% when exchanging btc) right now.
According to their site exchange should be instant after 3 confirm. If not instant then processed within 1h.
24h passed and I still didnt get anything.

Support is not replying at all.
I went through the exchange and read some reviews online. Looks like its a common problem of most of the users - receiving their exchanged coins extremely late and support being not helpful. You could try waiting for few more days (read a review where a user had to wait for more than 4 days) . Try posting a negative review in this site. The administrators seems to respond to all most all negative reviews and solve their problems.
5825  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: We want to Open An International Exchange site, Help us! on: January 28, 2018, 03:44:36 PM
hello everyone!
Me and My team are willing to start An international Exchange site, We have enough Investment to launch and control such huge platform. We need your suggestions and ideas and all other factors that may vary from country to country. I think this is the best place to ask for such suggestions because it is the only place where you can find crypto users from every country.
Come on go  ahead and share your knowledge!
feel free to share your personal opinions and experience.

There are tons of exchange right now. So the competition on this field is extremely high. You need to provide something that most of the exchanges fail to do so.
When you want to open an exchange you need to focus on customers needs and feedback. You will need to have a very good support system that can get in touch with customers within few hours (I am not saying instant since its not possible to get in touch with everyone at a time if there are tons of request to handle. Moreover giving each users enough time will actually help support them better.). Most exchanges lack this good support system.
A good and easy to use interface is always preferred by everyone. No one wants to use a confusing and laggy UI.
Make sure to include only legitimate coins. Shit coins will just destroy the reputation of the exchange.

noted!
what about those countries in which bitcoin are banned like Pakistan and Argentina!
how will we work good in these parts!
we want to cover all countries,
As far as I know bitcoin isn't illegal/banned in any of those countries you mentioned. But let us assume that bitcoin was banned on those countries, you can still accept users form those countries as long as you are not operating your exchange within those territories. Though it might be better to avoid them as your exchange might get involved with legal issues which would be very unpleasant.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korea-allows-cryptocurrency-trading-real-name-registered-accounts/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook

Hey guys good news here. Hope this will affect bitcoin price and it will grow up. What do you think?
South Korea never wanted to ban exchanges. All they wanted to do was add regulations and only verified users will be able to trade crypto currencies. That is you will have to follow all the policies imposed by the government, which indirect shows that the trading will be controlled by the South Korean government thus crypto currencies losing its main feature - decentralization. Crypto currency and banks were never meant to be together.
5828  Economy / Economics / Re: bloated economy on: January 27, 2018, 01:02:34 PM
Are all of these recent icos good for the economy of crypto? I have seen a couple of brilliant one's (ethlend). But some, are garbage.
Not some, most of them are just shit and garbage. They started spreading like a disease and sprouting like a parasitic mushrooms. The forum is filled with it. Only few of them are noteworthy. The rest are just scams where the developers are looking to make some quick money. Bad ICOs do have a negative impact which cannot be neglected. They are just giving same bad name to the crypto community.
5829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries that accept bitcoin payments on: January 27, 2018, 05:13:12 AM
You need to think a little bit outside the box with this one. I have a Crypto Debit Card that I can use right now in any country and anywhere that accepts MasterCard. I can choose to pay in any one of currently 7 different crypto currencies BTC, ETH, ZEC, LTC, XMR, XRP, DASH and I have zero fees for spending them. Take a look at Centra it may solve a lot of your current limitations.

I thought VISA and MasterCard were cutting all ties with Wave Crest Holdings who is the main issuer of crypto currencies debit cards? They broke some policies for which all cards will be disabled within the first few weeks of February.
5830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: January 27, 2018, 05:09:16 AM
I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll  learn about mining.
Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?
Think about it this way - If you quit your job you will permanently be losing your stable monthly income source. After you join and devote yourself to crypto currencies you lose your opportunity to get fixed income and involve yourself with high risks. Events taking place on crypto world are always unpredictable. So it may hit you hard anytime!
5831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VISA rages WAR against Bitcoin! BANNED on: January 26, 2018, 07:45:54 PM
As far as i know, all cards issued by wave crest holdings are being closed. They have been ordered by VISA to stop their card services and have cut off their ties with wave crest. It has been mentioned that wave crest broke VISAs policy.
We might see new cards being issued by new vendors soon. Wink
5832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot crash or go down. on: January 26, 2018, 07:25:22 PM
Bitcoin cannot crash nor go down against the dollar. You can print as much US dollars or fiat currency as you want. BUT YOU CANT CREATE MORE THAN 21 MILLION BITCOINS. If everyone just realize that fact, it would never stop going up. It seems like the idiot stupid fools that are selling since December don't know that. It is just as simple as that.
The price won't constantly go up but eventually will. Just relate the market with basic economic laws. Demand and supply plays a role here. More people selling ,more supply of bitcoins causing the price to fall and vice versa. Now even though the price will go up, people will sell their bitcoins to cash out their profit as they might have reached their profit threshold level. So nothing much you can do to stop them.
5833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would korean shut down bitcoin exchange? on: January 26, 2018, 07:17:56 PM
Based on my observations Korean will shut down the bitcoin exchange in their country because bitcoin replaced their currency and if they allow bitcoin their currency will be down and their country will also be down that's why they banned bitcoin in theory country that is for the sake of their country. Many country will do this also when their currencies is replaced by bitcoin
South Korea is not banning bitcoin or the exchanges. The exchanges at South Korea has been unregulated for years. Now they have decided to ban "anonymous" crypto currency trading. Note that they will not allow anonymous trading, which means that you will only be allowed to trade if you have your identification verified. So all exchanges will now be regulated and will need to have verified users. They will also need to give all information about their users to their local banks.
5834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL or SELL during dip??? on: January 26, 2018, 04:51:03 PM
I do agree with the points you pointed out. Whether to hold or sell during dip depends on the situation and the coin you are holding. If it's a shit coin that has been pumped and now being dumped, you should leave as the coin will die soon. Opportunity cost also comes into factor as pointed out by your second point. But how can you predict future dips as you said on your third point?
5835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl bitcoin or split it in many altcoins ??? on: January 26, 2018, 04:27:09 PM
Hello there right now I am holding exactly 1 bitcoin....what should i do with that... should I hold only in bitcoin or should I split some of it into other coins... if yes then which ones and how much
Bitcoin is good for holding in case of profit in long term. You will be eventually making profit with less risk if you keep on holding. Alt coins are more risky to invest on but you can make quick profit from it in short term. The best thing to do is hold 70% of bitcoin and invest rest 30% on top trending alt coins.
5836  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: January 26, 2018, 01:48:36 PM
Im newbie here and I saw merits.. I dont understand it.. I even research in google but I couldnt find any answer..
Merit is a new feature added to this forum. Before merit, in order to upgrade to the next rank you needed to reach some fixed amount of activity by posting on forum. You could earn a maximum of 14 activity points based on your posting within 2 weeks. Now you will need to have merit points along with activity points.
Since you are newbie read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0

5838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft stopped accepting payment by bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 11:07:49 PM
Since 2014, Microsoft has accepted bitcoin as a payment medium for the purchase of applications, games and other digital content from Windows, Xbox Games, Xbox Music or Xbox Video Stores.

However, Microsoft has recently decided to stop accepting payments by bitcoin on the grounds that the currency is too unstable. Sad((

Its a really bad new, Im a fan of Microsoft and I always use Bitcoin to buy games from it Sad(
Microsoft did reverse the decision and they are now once again accepting bitcoin as a payment. I can still see "redeem bitcoin" option on my account. Would have been better if steam also reversed their decision. Looks like Stripe will also end up supporting bitcoin after April Sad
5839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can buy KFC chicken by Bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 10:56:22 PM
Recently, KFC Canada has accepted Bitcoin payments for a short period of time. However, Bitcoin can only be used to place orders online, and only to purchase a new item called "Bitcoin Bucket". And all this special deal will be handled by Bitpay, a fairly common Bitcoin trading tool. Its really interesting news, I wish that I can also buy chicken with Bitcoin in my coutry.  Roll Eyes
$15 that you will be spending for some chicken will end up being $1000 in few years  Cheesy. More like the pizza event. But sadly the fee of making the transaction is way much higher than the price of the bucket, though fees are made on our choice, but paying less fees means we will be receiving our order after few days.
Jokes aside, a good step taken by them. Might attract some crypto enthusiastic customers in Canada.
5840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchanges! on: January 25, 2018, 10:42:26 PM
Right now I am using bittrex and poloniex. Bittrex does have a shitty support system though. Had a simple problem with my account and it took them more than two weeks to solve it. I tried Binance, but it is damn laggy as fuck. CPU usage goes above 30-50% when on the trading page. Perhaps they are mining passively in your browser or the trade page isn't optimized at all.
There are many crypto currency exchanges available to use but i am using mostly Bittrex and yobit. In my opinion, bittrex is best crypto currency exchange due to its security services and timely support.
Yobit is an extreme unreliable exchange filled with tons of shit coins.
