5961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you live on a seastead that uses nothing but bitcoin for its currency? on: August 24, 2016, 11:29:40 PM
It depends. How would one live in the middle of the damn sea? How is food and water acquired? How much is the cost of living? If it's cheap then yes, if it's expensive then I can't afford it and I will save my BTC.
Are you living in the age of stone or what? Food could be acquired by sending it from the place with full of food (buying)and you could turn salt water into drinking water through technologies, today is the age of technology man
But i guess the cost would be quite expensive
5962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: August 24, 2016, 11:26:27 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

I think it's impossible to make bank disappear, bitcoin just another alternative payment and we still need a bank. it's just my opinion
That's right I giving any example for that if our in the world of war and I think a lot of people will leaving from bitcoin because bitcoin is not usefulness in the urgent situation without internet.
And during the war why did you think the banks will not going to be collapse? With bitcoin you can save your moneg during the war for the security and could just took it when the war just ends,in war, food is the most important things not money
5963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitch Re-adds Bitcoin Payments on: August 24, 2016, 12:04:23 PM

Nice nonetheless, although I'm a bit afraid that it doesn't really stand out among all the other options. A bitcoin logo that redirects to coinbase would be much better in terms of promotion.
your statement that i bold, definitely right, even they're using coinbase API for payment gateway,it's definitely not right to use coinbase's logo too, people who uses bitcoin but doesn't even know what is coinbase could potentially don't recognize that bitcoin is already accepted there
5964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyrpto vs Fiat on: August 24, 2016, 11:53:19 AM
Crypto and fiat have their own purpose and therefore crypto cant replace fiat and vice versa. Todays we can use crypto as payment method for online or offline activities, but crypto still has a lack especially bitcoin, due to the confirmation time.
Actually I have no problem with the confirmation in using bitcoin because I see it fast, and what matters to me is not really the confirmation but the amount of service fee I can save in using bitcoin in transaction. I am thankful I discover bitcoin and now I share it with my family to attract them to also use it.
that's probably because you're not a busy person or i can say having quite much free times so it doesn't matter to you, just imagine when something force you to having or paying things in few minutes and you need to wait the confirmation,it's sure a problem
5965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who has cashed out from steemit? I think it's a ponzi on: August 24, 2016, 11:45:07 AM
I think steemit is a big ponzi, can someone show some payout proof?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9PWO8flSp4
You must provide proof yourself instead of asking others to provide it to establish your assumption. There are lots of people getting paid from steemit everyday
if OP really not getting interested and just don't trust the site then why putting an effort to see what's the result? although asking for people's review is more efficient,by the way OP is just asking for payment proof and not only a words like this "There are lots of people getting paid from steemit everyday"
5966  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: double spend transcation on: August 24, 2016, 11:40:03 AM
and why any wallet  provide si not stopping this hacking trick
actually it's not wallet's providers fault, they just enabling the self customization fee to add more flexibility to the wallet users because as you know they want to set the fee whatever the amount they want, but unfortunately this feature is just getting misused by people,so there's born double spend
5967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Dotcom Predict 2000$ per Bitcoin ??!! on: August 23, 2016, 02:05:59 PM
Lets not thought kim Dotcom of his predict, this could take place in the future who knows....been hearing conversation about this...though it might seem untrue untill we see it in taking place action...it might be true to what kim...though btc value changes, but still we can see rise...
atleast he's backed up his statement/speculation with some plan and action,he'll release bitcache so it does make sense if he's speculating, although i'm sure this service might give an affect to bitcoin, beside of it, whether it'll be success or not it's all about the time
yes if talking about the highest price was only a matter of time, I am also not sure if the high price to be achieved in a short time, it always takes a long time. but this statement is good, at least make people believe and support by buying bitcoin so quickly achieved a high price.

The statement of Kim doesn't do good, and will not do good. Mainly because some noobs now expect the price to reach $2000 next year. The price will probably not even reach $1000 next year, so imagine what all these disappointed noobs will do. They will put all blame on Bitcoin...

You are right, make predictions very high  can lead to take a bad decision when making an investment, at least by the most inexperienced, for example, those who bought at $1000 each BTC still they have to be disappointed, or worst they sold at a considerable loss.
just don't expect too much, anything which is hyped from the start will lead dissapointment at the end if there's some disadvantages
just see kimdotcom's statement as a speculation by another people, then if it's really give a quite good affect even didn't reach what the speculation just aimed,it'll be fine, some newbie should learn about this
5968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: August 23, 2016, 11:45:32 AM
I use bitcoin for mobile recharges but some times gamble with them also.Gambling i think can be considered bad.

Your first choice in utilizing bitcoin, is good enough. However the second option to utilize bitcoin, is an option that can indeed be bad for you. Because in gambling we must be good at controlling myself and can't do gambling amateur
I think no matter what you use with your bitcoin if you use it correctly and you know the risks of what would happen then perhaps it could be called as a good use. including gambling. if you can accept all the possibilities are there then it is okay
from when gambling could be called a good activities? it's definitely just losing and gaining back your money and repeating this cycle until you just get away from gambling, gambling will sometime make you rich but there's a time when you'll be losing too
i guess you should read this : https://www.problemgambling.ca/EN/AboutGamblingandProblemGambling/Pages/TheEffectsOfGambling.aspx
to know why gambling could impact you in so many factors and definitely why it's not a good activities
5969  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: August 23, 2016, 11:37:40 AM
Saving bitcoin will not make you rich.. Investing at least 30-50% to increase your bitcoins...
But be careful the world of crypto have many scammers.. Using the right way...
I agree, that is why all of my bitcoins has become capital in trading altcoins, although it is just give me a little profit but by the time my bitcoins growing up. I think it is better than i saving bitcoin in the wallet.
actually trading is not about the time and your bitcoin could grown up,trading is about luckyness, maybe today you get profit because of the altcoin that you buy having price increasing but who knows if tomorrow when you're doing trading again, the price will suddenly falling and bust your money?
trading is not that simple dude
5970  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: C O N T E S T: Win a ‪KeepKey‬ wallet! on: August 23, 2016, 11:31:21 AM
two keepkey for a winner or two keepkey for two winner,to be honest expecting the prize to be given for two winners because it's could increase our winning rate rather than for one winner,by the way just submitted my answer there, hope i get luck on this contest, thanks in advance
5971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who has cashed out from steemit? I think it's a ponzi on: August 23, 2016, 11:20:28 AM
well i just tried steemit for a few times, making few posts and got the steemit dollar as a reward even still too small and can't even request a payout but they're not forcing me to invest and seems without investing you could earn a money from there with hard effort,it's just my review, but the system behind it,i don't know what it's exactly and how they can pay their users,to be honest i'm still confused
but it's still up to you whether your concluding steemit as ponzi or not
5972  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Receive BTC on: August 23, 2016, 11:08:01 AM
can you give us the wallet address where you sent your funds so we can check? don't worry we couldn't hack you just by knowing your bitcoin address so you don't need to hide xD

Guys you dont belive me. I waited 9 hours and now i got my BTC. Thx for helping guys Cheesy. Thought its takes only 10 minutes to get a transaction but 9 hours...

do you talking about confirmation or what? because as far as i know, the transaction just need few seconds or a minutes to be appear but the thing which makes the transaction looks slow is because of the confirmation,9 hours for transaction to be appear is impossible except your wallet didn't synced to the network
5973  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to sell stuffs online and earn Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2016, 11:58:58 AM
bitcoin really needs something like e-bay and amazon to start being more serious as a real currency. the openbazaar project seems good and promising but i don't see it taking off yet, and it doesn't seem like being that much popular.
a new things always need a time to be popular but the openbazaar seems only could targetting people who advanced on using internet, just like people who know what's exactly P2P is,but the thing is there's so many people don't even know P2P and it's a problem,so actually openbazaar can't cover larger area than usual online shop
5974  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: August 22, 2016, 11:55:38 AM
I have never seen old people using bitcoin, i even kind of doubt they know about bitcoin and i think they wont even bother to know and try to acknowledge bitcoin, but if they are earning bitcoin probably is through trading, because trading bitcoin is almost the same with trading stock
it's indeed rare event to see old people using bitcoin but there's an exception if you're socializing with those techy old people, they'll know what exactly bitcoin is and even using it for their online needs, maybe in your area there's just very few techy old people or even there's nothing
5975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Collapse - What does it mean for Bitcoin ? on: August 22, 2016, 11:40:00 AM
i don't trust these speculations to be honest as it really uncertain and can't be proven but i guess when dollar getting collapsed those dollar holders will moving their wealth to bitcoin and will result increase in demand so definitely a price rising
beside all of it,the speculation is not really bothering me because it's unreasonable so don't care too much to this news i guess
5976  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Not receiving login verification email on: August 22, 2016, 11:35:29 AM
well sometimes the email could be delayed about 15 minutes or even more, but as far until now when i'm using google mail for my blockchain wallet it's always receiving the verification email ,but when i'm trying to use yahoo mail sometime it doesn't arrive , i don't know why to be honest but maybe the email hoster/provider really give an affect
5977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: August 22, 2016, 11:18:11 AM

2016, people still trying to make bitcoin clone that better than bitcoin, it's very fun to spectate for the "bitcoin killers", they failing everytime but still trying.
who is trying to make a bitcoin clone? in my opinion currency like that or better is never going to be invented

"bitcoin clone" actually he's talking about those alternate coins that always appearing every month, they're offering so many features and always saying that they're a new form of bitcoin or bitcoin killers but always end up in an exchanger being a dust coin which had value near to dust or just becoming a trading tools
5978  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 22, 2016, 11:13:46 AM
I think that both work well in different situations, for different purposes.
It has a unique purpose but both can help us so we need them both, banks will protect us as it is guided by the laws of a certain country so we are more secured than bitcoin, but bitcoin can provide us a good profit from our investment compared to banks so it is both important.

Yeah right, there both usefull actualy, but when it comes to the satisfaction to the user it is much better in bitcoin wallet than a bank. though they will feel both satisfaction in it but the average is bitcoin wallet is leading, because of their different charges fee and conveniety.

Bitcoin wallet is good because your money in your hands and you can access it whenever you want and the best thing about bitcoin wallet is there is no "bank holiday" in it, you can transact 24/7.
i guess in this year and in this age,atm transaction can be done 24/7 even banks are closed due to holiday doesn't mean they're totally closed for their customers, the central offices of the bank still open to resolve any problem which occur either from the customers or from their own system
5979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to transfer the ownership of a Bitcoin address? on: August 22, 2016, 11:05:52 AM
generating an address and just give your client the whole privkey is just a bad idea because if problem happening, you'll take the responsibility of the address even you didn't touch it and your client will accuse you

the only method which is proven safe for both client and the seller is
splitting key will make you only having half of the whole privkey and your client will having the rest of privkey so it's definitely the safest method until now
5980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: August 22, 2016, 11:01:41 AM
lots of differant people use bitcoin everyday.
well i think not a lot of people uses bitcoin right now but i really use it a lot, i buy some digital goods with bitcoin and i sometimes buy physical stuff from ebay shop

If we are saying that we had a lot of bitcoin community who uses bitcoins,  Still there are more a lot of people are aware of bitcoins that we had now in our community of cryptocurrencies. Though many of them too they heard more about bitcoin but still ignoring the deepest advantage that bitcoin has.
the answer of your statement that i bold,i guess they're not ready yet, they just want to stay in the safe zone even it'll took higher monthly payout without bitcoin, doesn't mean they really ignoring it thought, but i can sure that they will eventually use bitcoin after they see it's quite safe
