This is a great achievement, well done to crowetic and his team!
Qora investors have some of the strongest hands in crypto, been waiting for this project to shine since 2014!
It's time!

~snip~ SEC has taken action against EOS & SIA for their ICO's in recent weeks, how long until WAVES founder is charged for Coinomat securities violations? It depend on SEC what they think about any project's future maybe in future they will take any action into this direction. But there is no news about this what is going on behind the scene. EOS and SIA had illegal ICO's but didn't scam their investors with promised swaps that never happened. Sasha will eventually be fined for issuing unregistered securities over Coinomat assets and WAVES ICO like EOS and SIA , but also securities fraud and theft for not completing the promised Coinomat asset swaps from 2016. Coinomat investors had their funds stolen, that is not the same as EOS and SIA investors who still have access to the assets they purchased.

new staking system yields $350 monthly if waves $10 with an 8k stack.
So if you buy 8k now and this coin does a x10 or more the roi is 2 years.
at $1 the roi is 20 years or 5% as specified. excluding compounded growth.
WAVES won't reach anywhere near $10 until Sasha sorts out lingering problems with his credibility from past failures, like the 3 year delay in Coinomat asset swaps, and the Vostok debacle. He has issued multiple unregistered securities, a highly suspect mega ICO, and he's acted dishonestly towards investors of those illegal securities, so he has acted both illegally & dishonestly. Does anyone really see WAVES hitting $10 with Sasha in charge, the guy is probably going to jail.

IOTA is must invest project despite harsh critique. It has significant partnerships and good technology for IoT. I believe the crypto market has significantly changed since the end of 2017. With the exception of bitcoin which in in a world of its own. The rest of the Altcoins are now in a meritocracy. They will have to show genuine significant real world utility and adoption for the price to rise. The only altcoin that is fast approaching this threshold is Iota. I am at least partly with you, but I also do think the main problem of IOTA is not technology, but its the management. Please read what Vitalik Buterin from Etherium said about them since 2017. I think he might be right. From time to time, they do behave like idiots. At the moment there is silence ... but what if one of them goes public again like they did? Diversify, thats the only worthy message. Greez, n. Don't forget that 2 of the 4 founders were very young guys when Iota launched in 2015, and the 4 years since has added another approx 20-40% to their adult life experiences, so VB criticism from 2017 is less valid today. CfB is a genius on the autism spectrum, and everyone knows for years now he loves trolling.

So interesting.
1. XMR is acting like a damn stablecoin.
2. We have seen what seems to me to be an interesting correlation between XMR and BTC.
Bitcoin maximalists don't consider xmr as just another alt coin scam, it's the goto privacy option for BTC, so over time it's forming a stable relative price.

Counterparty is still a great platform, and as long as Bitcoin exists so will Counterparty. Obviously fees are too high for small value purposes, but for high value tokens people happily pay larger BTC fees for occasional large value transactions, like real estate.
A lot of alt coins are going to vanish soon, but Counterparty isn't as long as BTC survives, and that means a future use case we don't see today could very well appear in the future. Don't write counterparty off, the tech is, and always has been excellent, and a lot of the competition is getting crushed.

Is the Sherwood pool dead now, is there another option that has similar philosophy?

Is Sia still have active development?
Sia has a great product that is being used, adoption is small but growing, the trend is clear. Most crypto is based on speculation but sia has real users, and the dev team have ongoing funding from their sianote holdings tied to adoption. If you're a speculator/gambler you're suffering, like all alt coin traders/miners, and that's rough, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water, decentralised storage is a fantastic product, and sia is delivering!

Wow, congrats to the komodo dev team, this is a historic achievement with global significance, with USA users getting booted from Binance next week and having to either move to the KYC local version of Binance, or, use a vpn and go illegal, using 100% legal AtomicDEX is a no-brainer! Remember, avoiding KYC is more to do with maintaining privacy and preventing your identity docs being sold on the dark web to criminals after exchange hacks. The smart legal approach is avoid all exchanges that require you sending your identity docs to strangers! Plus, 'not your keys, not your coins' AtomicDEX for the WIN!

Coinomat asset airdrop happening soon, more details to come soon! Community initiative.
Waves can never succeed with Sasha in charge, not until he fulfils the Coinomat asset swaps from 2016. His personal credibility in crypto is as low as it's possible to be, his reputation for lying and scamming investors is fully documented going back to 2014. Everyone who works for WAVES knows the truth! Carlos Matos has more legitimacy than Sasha, think about that for a second ... it's 100% true! Carlos Matos was a victim of a scam and lost money, Sasha has made millions from an ICO, but will very likely end up in court and ultimately behind bars for his crimes. He is very low hanging fruit for regulators, an open and shut case!

Do we know if Binance will pass on the Mediconnect airdrop yet, have they made any announcements?
Haven't heard anything but my guess would be no. Be ready to move your coins to your Stratis core wallet before the snapshot date when it is announced. Thanks, I haven't setup the core wallet before, I wonder if the airdrop will go to qt wallet too?

For the cost of a few hundred USD per year CBX could add delayed PoW from Komodo which effectively gives Bitcoin level security from notarising block hashes onto the BTC blockchain, similar to checkpointing, but done on Bitcoin. It would make bullion as secure as Bitcoin for a fraction of the cost.

@shelby, if we store our bitcoins in a legacy address (starts with a 1) are we OK if your hypothesis is true? Will our bitcoins be safe & usable on the original legacy immutable satoshi chain?
